Notes:

ok HELLO!!! before you start reading this fic I have to give some disclaimers:
1. English is NOT my native language. Grammar/spelling mistakes and similar things may happen. Please tell me so I can correct it!
2. This is my first time writting a fanfic PLEASE have mercy with me. I am a cringe fourteen year old, and as I just said earlier this isn't even my mother tongue. I'm genunely trying to make this as worth-reading as possible :')
3. If this fic ever falls into the fate of never ending it'll probably be because of one or more of the following reasons:
a) I lost motivation
b) I stopped liking the ship
c) I forgot about it
d) I lost my account

Anyways thanks for reading this and enjoy :)

Chapter 1: A mysterious discovery

Chapter Text

It was September, the leaves were starting to fall off the trees, and the school year just started. Len was finally in his last year of High School. He had been waiting for that moment forever; he wanted to start university, a place where he could study something that he's actually interested in. One issue though, he wasn't sure what he would like to become in the first place. There were so many options to choose from, and too many interesting things to learn...
Len often thought about it for hours while taking a walk around the city suburbs, the most quiet and less crowded place to go, and he missed that feeling.
Len had just moved to a smaller new city, and he didn't know anywhere nor anyone there. It was six hours away from his place of birth and completely unknown to him. Everything about the new city was shit: litter all around the street, pavement falling apart, awful smell... even his first day of school was bad: he felt like people were making fun of him constantly.
After getting out of there, Len started to walk around. He was trying to make himself believe it wasn't that bad. When he started to run out of hope, he found a small park.
It had the same vibe as those of the outsides of his city, where he walked for hours. His first reaction was to immediately get into there and explore the brand new place while listening to his 13-hour-long playlist.

The park was empty and cold. The grass was quite long and the pines really tall. It was a combination of dark and light green everywhere, except for a small path that seemed to be for runners of the zone, but it was deserted as well. He decided to follow it. Eventually, he found something other than trees:
...A bench.
It seemed to be quite old, as its wood was not in the best state you could think of. It was basically falling apart, but you could still use it for its main prupose.
There was someone sitting there, too.

Their hair was bleached and it had a reddish color, one of their eyes was covered by a patch, and the other one was visible. It was one of the most beautiful eyes Len had ever seen before: brown like the wood of a dark oak in the outside, clear as milk coffee in the inside: so clear it was almost white. The beauty mark below the stranger's eye and their notorious dark circles, added the fact that they were wearing the same uniform as him, catched Len's attention.

Len felt something weird on his stomach. Probably anxiety, he thought; he had experienced it thousands of times before.
But, in this case, he wasn't familiar with the emotion at all: he could tell that some kind of worry seemed to be bothering him, but he was unsure why it felt different, not as threatening as usual. Maybe it was the unknown person's aura that made him feel that way. He was intrigued about them.

And, when he finally snapped and got back to reality, he realized that those pretty eyes he had been staring at for god knows how long were staring back at him.

In an uncomfotrable quiet scene, a light breeze of air formed, and, without thinking, Len opened his mouth to break the silence.

「...Can I sit here?」
