"Ugh," Leonard grumbles, looking down at the transporter pad. He picks up his foot, looking at the bottom of one of his shoes. "What happened here?"
Jim takes a step to the side, unhappy with the crunch sound that his boot makes upon leaving the floor. "I second Bones' question."
"Ah," Scotty clears his throat slightly. "There was an incident with the transporter a little while earlier."
"Oh, really?" He asks, stepping down off the transporter pad. Leonard is right behind him, muttering under his breath.
"We're not sure what sort of malfunction the beans were, sir," Scotty taps his fingers on the console, "We got most of it cleaned before you beamed up, but-"
"Beans?" Jim stresses, "What do beans have to do with anything?"
"When we attempted to beam up the security team, we ended up transporting beans instead."
"Where's the security team?"
"We don't know, sir."
"Officers turning into beans, " Leonard mumbles, "That's a new one."
