“I don’t know why, but aren’t we finished this comms faster than before?”
Paimon asked as she appeared beside Lumine who was looking at her map. “I think so too, but I think it’s because the comms are near each other and it’s underwater too,” Lumine sighed looking at her boot that is drenched and placed near the campfire, “let’s hope that it will dry quickly so that we can go back and take our payment, Paimon is dreaming of eating that dessert from the hotel that day,” Paimon said, giggling when she saw Lumine’s disgusted face when she’s wearing her boots.
“Yeah, let’s go, should we get going now? I can hold it back if we only go there to take our payment,” Paimon nodded eagerly as she flew beside Lumine.
Lumine the other hand needs to hold back the lump in her throat whenever she feels that her boot is squeaking because of how wet it is.
“Paimon hope that your feet don’t become stinky when you put that away,” said Paimon jokingly earning a glare from Lumine. “How about whenever we get underwater commissions, it’s you that will go diving underwater?”
“No, Paimon is here for emotional support and helping you talk with the other, sometimes it’s tiring you know? But talking with new people is fun, Paimon hopes that you can be like that too,” Paimon said, raising her eyebrow at Lumine who is turning her face away.
“Alright, fine, you win this argument, now would you hold onto me so that I can teleport? I don’t want to walk that far in this condition,”

“Paimon, Traveler, welcome back!!” Katheryne said with a wide smile on her face, waving at them.
“Hi, Katheryne, we’re back quickly today!!” Paimon said, waving at Katheryne with Lumine who was smiling at her.
“Yes, I guess today is your record, could you sign this document first?” Katherine said as she handed out a document of today’s commission and how the traveler is quick to sign it up, letting out a giggle from Katheryne, “thank you for today’s work, this is your payment,” Katheryne said as she gave the payment who Paimon took happily.
“The favorite thing to go to adventure guild is when Paimon can get a hold of these mora on Paimon’s hand,” Paimon said, and when Lumine was just about to say something, she got cut off by the familiar figure appearing on her rear eyes.
It was Furina, walking calmly as she was fixing her hair and her hat, it seemed like she was on her way to work. Wait is she still going to the Palais? Lumine doesn’t recall that Furina still works there, or she is going to the theatre troupe that she was working for. Or is she going to meet Xavier? Archons whatever it is, Furina looked so pretty, elegant, beautiful oh Archon she seemed perfect in Lumine’s eyes.
As if sensing Lumine’s silence, Paimon follows Lumine’s gaze, and a smug smile appears on her face when she sees how the legendary traveler becomes silent over the appearance of the former Hydro Archon of Fontaine.
“Hello, Furina!!” Paimon said, bringing Lumine back to the world but once again silent when she saw Furina smiling at them, Archons…she is so pretty.
“Hello Traveler, Paimon, and Katheryne, are you gonna do your commission for today?” She said, ignoring Lumine’s expression.
“No, we just finished our work today, how about you Furina? On your way to work? Or grocery?” Paimon asked, occasionally checking the traveler beside her who was trying to compose herself.
“Yes, the troupe starts practicing at this hour, and finishes later at night,”
“Is it the same with Mr. Xavier? Lumine finally speaks for the first time to Furina today.
“Yes, it’s the same, but before, I need to meet Ms. Chevruse first,” Furina said, as if sensing the worried glance that Lumine sent to her, she looked at Lumine and smiled at her, making Lumine feels better.
“It’s nothing serious Traveler, don’t worry, I’m just going to ask her about the play that I’m about to prepare for the upcoming days,”
Lumine let out a calm sigh when she heard the reason, Lumine couldn't help but feel protective over the girl because of how much suffering the girl had been through and how the girl treat her like she was just a human, not some random person that got teleported into the world of Teyvat to find her brother, and that alone making Lumine's heart beat faster whenever she is near or just seeing the girl.
“Well, we better not hold you now, and do your best at work Furina,” Lumine said, offering a warm genuine smile at her.
“Yes, you too Traveler,” Furina said before she continued her walk towards the troupe.
“Paimon,” Lumine asked, earning a hum from her flying companion.
“I didn’t smell like a wet dog right now…right?”
“It’s a faint smell, but I guess it’s okay,”
“Damn…”

Lumine sighed before she opened her comms map for the day, it’s kind of far from each other and she was afraid that she couldn’t finish it on time.
By on time, she means the same time as Furina went out to her troupe, after asking Katheryne about Furina’s schedule days ago, Lumine is making sure to meet her every day on her way to the Adventure Guilds, starting to only say hi to Furina, talking a little bit, into accompany Furina to her troupe and sometimes just having a tea together at the cafe near her troupe.
“Paimon thinks that we can’t catch up with her today, how about we skip today?”
“Skipping the commissions?”
“Of course no, traveler, meeting Furina I mean,” Paimon said, rolling her eyes upon hearing Lumine’s answer, Lumine pouted upon hearing that.
“B-but I want to meet her because I need to fill my Furinium for to-”
“Alright, alright, we will do our best and fastest way today, how about it?” Paimon asked, earning an eager nod from Lumine.
“Okay so how about we do this in erinnyes forest first-”

“Come on Paimon we need to finish this last comms faster,” Lumine said as she was sprinting towards the Hilichurls camp with two big towers in it.
“The comms said that we need to destroy two hillichurls towers, so-” Before Paimon finished reading the notes, she heard an explosion and a building getting torn down behind her and when she was about to ask the traveler in front of her, she already cut her off.
“No, I didn’t kill them, I’m just destroying the towers and just ran away,” Lumine smiled awkwardly to her, making Paimon let out a loud sigh.
“Alright, then let’s teleport,” she said before a sudden light blinded her sight, and when she was about to open her eyes, the familiar music from Fontaine started playing around her.
“Do I look okay Paimon? Is there any blood or something?” Lumine asked as they walked to Katheryne.
“Besides the dust on your clothes, Paimon thinks that you are okay-”
“Traveler, Paimon, what a coincidence that we meet again,” a sweet voice startled them both, it was Navia walking towards them, “Navia!! It’s been days since we last saw you, how are you now? Already feeling better?” Paimon asked, recalling the scene when they parted away from Poisson.
“Yes, I’m fine right now, and I’m on my way to meet Clorinde now after I meet with Lady Furina,” Navia winked at Lumine who perked up after hearing someone’s name. “And if you were wondering about Lady Furina, she is still at her home, her troupe starting late today and I guess you need to catch your breath first, you look so…tired?” Navia said with an unbelievable look at the Traveler.
“Paimon agrees, Traveler just doesn’t want to waste any breath to catch up with Furina’s schedule now-”
“And why does she want to catch up with me?”
Furina asked behind Navia confusingly, earning a squeak from Paimon and a reddened Traveler’s face, Furina thought that Lumine’s face looked so cute.
“Hi Furina…P-Paimon didn’t r-realize that you’re comi-” Paimon's voice got cut off as the Traveler pulled her and ran from the scene, making the other two confused.
“Are they bothering you?” Navia asked, placing her hand on Furina’s shoulders, “I can ask them to stop doing it if you aren’t okay with it,” Navia said giving a worried look at Furina.
“No, rather I found it amusing how the traveler can be like that towards me, I wonder what her plans in are meeting every day with me like that, and…it feels nice knowing that she cares towards me,” Furina said, “Well okay then, I guess that is okay, anyway let’s get going to Clorinde now?”
“Alright.”

“Just why are we running from that place, Lumine??” Paimon asked furiously staring at Lumine in disbelief, “Please don’t tell me that you were panicking,” Paimon let out the biggest sigh she ever had over Lumine's answer.
When Lumine finished pulling her out from the scene, Lumine quickly deployed her serenea tea and pulled them both inside, now they’re standing in front of their mansion, arguing.
“I’m sorry Paimon, it’s just that-”
“Your head gets better on you and you think that she will find it creepy that you try to match your schedule with hers so that you can ask her out one day and you don’t want her to know about it because you’ve been secretly asking her co-workers about for the date spots in Fontaine but you don’t like the vibe so you want to bring her to Erinnyes forest-” Lumine’s hand closing Paimon’s mouth, her face is already red and she thinks that it can’t get redder than tomato.
“Stop, you know that you’re right about it,” Lumine said, putting her hand away, “It's just that this is the first time that I have this feeling toward someone, Paimon, and I didn’t expect it to be the person that I hurt the most,” Lumine said, staring at the fake sun on her pot.
“You haven’t asked the person about it, right? How can you assume things like that?” Paimon asked her, hand crossing and taking a deep breath, another traveler and her biggest insecurities.
“Paimon said that you should be brave and ask her for a date tomorrow, she is free tomorrow, right? And we should take a day off from the guild for you to date her, Paimon will inform Katheryne about this,” Paimon said, brushing Traveler’s shoulder.
“And if rejects you then…Paimon is here for you Lumine,” Paimon said offering a warm smile to calm the traveler.

Now that the day has come and nervous, she right now, Lumine is sure that the passenger will look at her strangely, how can they now, a legendary traveler walking in a circle in front of the adventure guild with sharp eyes and murmuring in Archons knows what language she is speaking with.
“Traveler, calm down, we’re one hour early from the usual schedule so you need to calm down,” Paimon said, sitting on the bench in front of the guilds.
“How do I look, Paimon?”
“Perfect,”
“Thank you,”
“You're welcome,”
Lumine finally takes a moment to sit beside Paimon, Paimon offers her candies, but Lumine rejects them.
“Relax Traveler, it’s only Furina, you don’t need to be so nervous about it-”
“Exactly, it’s only me, why would you be nervous about it?
The two of them jump at the voice, how can none of them hear or feel her presence? Noticing the confusion on their looks, Furina smiled at them.
“I can hide my presence if I want to, so, good day traveler, what makes you sit here all day?” Furina said, fixing her hat and smiling at Lumine oh Archons how much Lumine likes to stare at her heterochromatic eyes forever.
“I’m waiting for you,” Lumine smiled at her, taking notes of how easily her words could make Furina’s cheeks get pinkish.
“Oh? Why are you waiting for me? My dear traveler?”
“I want to ask you for a date,” Lumine said, not wasting any time teasing her, even making Paimon stare at her in disbelief.
Furina can be seen getting caught off guard because of how many scenes playing in her head about this conversation, getting asked for a date is not in one of them, and from the appearing of pink on her cheeks, Lumine's smile growing wider.
“I? …why me?” Furina asked cautiously, suddenly feeling fear and small in the Traveler’s sight.
“Because I want you, my princess,” Lumine said, taking one step closer to Furina, "I want you to experience a new things with me and in accepting it meaning that you opened a new door towards the new adventure with the best traveler in Teyvat," now lumine sending a wink to Furina which is making Furina giggle, “Of course then, My Knight, when is the date that you want?” Furina asked, playing with Lumine’s hand.
“How about now? We better start it as soon as we can,” Lumine said, catching Furina’s hand and holding it softly as if she is holding a fragile figure.
“Are you being serious right now?” Furina shakes her head when she receives a nod from Lumine and a ‘don’t ask me about it’ look from Paimon.
“Okay then my knight, bring me there,” Furina said, kissing Lumine’s cheeks and smiling fondly when she saw Lumine’s wide smile.
Lumine quietly wrapped her arms around Furina, not minding the looks she received from the other people around them, some of them even staring at them like they just witnessed the best romance play in Fontaine, and gestured Paimon to come closer to her, she slowly pictured a certain place on her mind then when she felt like she would get teleported, she brought her mouth closer to Furina’s ears.
“Hold me and close your eyes for me, Princess,”
A few seconds passed and Furina could feel her becoming lighter before she could feel the lands on her feet, a wind breeze calmly hitting her body, when she felt Lumine’s taps on her shoulder, Furina opened her eyes slowly, the sight in front of her seems unfamiliar that it makes her quotes nervous, but the hugs from traveler calm her down a quite bit.
“I’m sorry that it’s not at the place and that we need to walk quite far from it,” Lumine said, earning a smile from Furina.
“It’s okay, it can be a change of scenery for me too, so,” Furina lets go of Lumine’s hug, “will you lead the way, traveler?” Furina said offering her hand to Lumine.
“Oh please, just call me Lumine, Princess,” Lumine said, taking Furina’s hand to her own, “Please I am no Princess, you should call me Furina,” Furina said, she's aware that her cheeks must be pink from the way Lumine called her.
“I’m afraid I need to decline that offer because you will become the princess on this journey, right Paimon?” Lumine said, searching for her companion who was 5 feet away from them.
“Yes, and please don't mind Paimon because she will stay away from you guys, enjoy your date,” Paimon said before she flew away to where Archon knew.
Lumine smiles at that, silently thanking Paimon for giving them some privacy, Lumine slowly guides Furina towards the spot that she wants to bring her. Talking about anything that they can talk about. Lumine was surprised when Furina told her that she knew about how Lumine would do her comms quickly only to catch up with her, of course it's making her scared of making Furina uncomfortable, but when Furina reassured her that she was fine about it, and even looked forward to seeing her every time she went outside to work, Lumine feels pride and happy about it and saying that after this she will be the one who will be taking her to her works and pick her up after she finished working only to earn a smack from Furina.
After what seemed like 30 minutes of walking toward the spot, they finally arrived at their destination. The sun was already setting down the moment they arrived, so Lumine took out the simple tent from her inventory and set it out for them.
Lumine also set out a simple campfire and brought a chicken skewer and blanket for Furina to eat and protecting her from the coldness of the night.
When they finish setting up, it's already nighttime and Furina would be lying to say that she's not happy staring at the stars appearing in the sky, she can't help but look at them unaware of the stare that Lumine gives her, now sitting beside each other.
“It's so beautiful Lumine,” she said breathlessly,
“It is,” Lumine said, still looking at Furina. “You didn't even see the stars Lumine,” Furina said now looking at Lumine who was staring at her, she swears she could see adoring and soft Lumine eyes on her.
“Why would I when the brightest stars are sitting in here beside me,”
“That's cheesy,” Furina said, after composing herself from the sudden flirt from Lumine with poking Lumine’s nose jokingly.
Lumine smiles at her before bringing out simple chicken skewers for them to cook.
“I’m sorry that it's nothing fancy for you looking princess i hope that it's caught your taste,” Lumine said offering an apologetic smile to Furina.
“Lumine, for my 500 years in all fancy things making me tired of it and this change of scenery won't make me sick or something because I am the one who told you that I want to try something new didn't I?” Furina said, placing her hand on top of Lumine's hand, squeezing it assuredly.
“And honestly this kind of scenery is so beautiful, I think because of how bright Fontaine is, I…never noticed the beauty of the sky,” Furina said leaning her head on Lumine's shoulder.
“Thank you Lumine, I enjoy this date,” Furina said, kissing Lumine's cheeks, making Lumine look at her lovingly, Archon, Furina feels like she's getting drowned in those golden eyes of Lumine.
Lumine slowly brings her hand to Furina’s cheeks, she's aware of how rough her hand is and afraid of making Furina uncomfortable with it, but to her surprise, Furina melts towards her touch, making her heartbeat faster and slowly caressing her cheeks before she brings it for making Furina to stare at her eyes.
“Can I kiss you?” The question is so soft that Fiorina barely catches it if she's not staring at Lumine’s lips, and of course, she wants it too.
“Of course you can, My Knight, ” Furina said before Lumine closed the distance between them.
The kiss was so soft that it felt love and warm in the kiss, making both of them smile in the kiss. Furina slowly got up to sit on Lumine's lap without breaking the kiss, making it easier for Lumine to deepen the kiss. Lumine licked Furina’s bottom lips for asking permission to go inside and for Lumine's delight, Furina let her in, letting out a soft moan when Lumine explored her mouth.
They are parting away the moment the air becomes an issue, Lumine pressing her forehead on Furina’s and smiling at her staring at her heterochromatic eyes with much love in them.
“I didn't know you were a good kisser, Lumine,” Furina said, staring at those golden eyes of Lumine.
“Oh yeah? I guess writing books does help in practice,” she said, earning a beautiful laugh from Furina.
“You should be honored for receiving my first kiss Lumine,” Furina said, giving a peck on Lumine's lips. “I’m honored for loving you, My Love,” Lumine said as she was tightening her hug.
“You and your cheesy lines,” Furina said, smacking Lumine's shoulder jokingly.
“It's only for you, My Love,” Lumine said, grabbing one of Furina's hands and kissing it lovingly, making Furina’s heart warm.
“I can't believe you said that and we're not girlfriends yet,” Furina said, now placing her head on Lumine's chest, smiling brightly when it was beating fast like her own heart, earning a laugh from Lumine.
“Well, I think I'm already making it clear that I’m escorting you from how I act towards you from that day?” Lumine said, playing with Furina’s hair.
“And I guess you already knew my answer, right my knight?”
“I’m afraid I need to hear those words from your mouth, my love,”
Furina straighten her pose, bringing her hands to cup Lumine's cheeks and staring at Lumine's golden eyes, seeing love and affection displaying on her eyes before she looked down to Lumine's lips to see that it a little bit swollen from the effect of their kiss earlier and how red Lumine's ears is probably because she is too feel embarrassed from being close to the one that she love, and when she's done inspecting Lumine's feature, once again Lumine stare at Lumine's eyes,
“My Knight, I love you and I would be happy to be your girlfriend,” Furina said as she once more captured Lumine's lips again, claiming her girlfriend's lips and love for her only.

When the morning came, Paimon found them sleeping with Lumine's hands wrapping around Furina and Furina placing her head on Lumine's chest.
Paimon shakes her head knowing that it went nicely and safely for her to say that they're now girlfriends and Paimon guesses that her third wheeling era is beginning now.
But for now, Paimon is happy that her best buddy is sleeping happily with her love on her hands.
