Work Text:

Cave doesn't want to be part of this thing anymore, it involves those stupid kids or not.

She has had enough of this shit, she is leaving.

If you are so sure of that, then why do you feel so bad at leaving the kids, Cave? Do you not want to see the happy faces of the kids again? To see them covered in mud or playing or doing child things?

She was sure that she was going to get herself in trouble as she entered the room where The Chosen One was imprisoned.

"Cave? What are you doing here?"

"Shut it, I'm gonna do something and you need to stay silent. I don't want to be caught."

She looked over the panel and got herself to stand beside it and started to do some adjustments. She wasn't that good with technology like Agent or the others. After all, she was from centuries ago, and things were always changing for her to ever adapt completely to a place or a moment. So she just did what Agent did and got all the powers back to normal. And as she was about to free the seventeen black stick, she heard the door opening and looked back to find two of her companions there.

"Cave, what the heck are you doing?"

"Something I should have done a long time ago."

"What the heck are you talking about?"

"Shut up for God's sake, Agent!"

"Stop this!"

"This has gotten too far, Agent. Tell me, are you okay with torturing kids?!"

"It's my job, I need to be-"

"I know it is our job, but don't you feel ashamed of yourself?"

"I don't. I needed to be ready for things like that. We are mercenaries, Cave. Don't do stupid things and go away from that panel."

"You... it just goes against my morals, and I bet that it does against Signal too."

At this, the bathroom sign had looked away before speaking.

"It does, but I need this job, and I do my best to ignore it, Cave. So please, just go away from that panel, and we won't tell Victim."

Cave looked at the panel. She was making such a mess for kids that weren't even family to her. "You know, you were always so stupid, Agent," she pressed the button to free the chosen one.

"SHIT!" Signal screamed as they got jumped by the black stickman.

Agent looked at this surprised, then looked angry at Cave, who was about to smash the panel with one of her spears. He got himself together and rapidly got the taskbar and used the pause button with her before she destroyed it. He then paused the chosen one and got him off of Signal.

"You fucking bitch," he said to the face of the older. "You really thought that you could get away with this, huh?"

"What do we do now?" Signal asked with pity for their friend.

"We tried reasoning with her, and she didn't want to. I guess we will imprison her." He grabbed her. "And do the same thing with him," he pointed at TCO.

"Okay."

Signal rapidly got chosen back to the box and saw where he got Cave. They were remorseful for their friend. Gladly, Pixel wasn't here. She would try to stop Agent herself for sure.

Agent unpaused Cave as he was sure she wouldn't get out of the cage where he put her. She looked surprised as she almost lost her balance without her spear and looked at Agent with a grunt.

"Not now, bitch. Tell me what the heck were you thinking?!"

"I was thinking with the brain that you don't seem to have, bastard."

"Such a vocabulary for a woman."

"Such a vocabulary for a small brain."

"Now, don't get on my nerves, you prehistoric."

"You stupid-"

Agent saw the hand movement of Cave and got himself away from the cage, a spear now resting where he was some seconds ago.

"Such an aggressive behavior."

"YOU SON OF A-"

Agent paused Cave again, an angry look on his face once again, and got himself beside Signal.

"Such a problem she did, almost destroying everything."

"Yeah..." They looked at the cage.

"I'm curious how her spears appear and work," he grabbed the spear. "Maybe we could send it to examine it."

"Umh..."

"Gladly, Pixel wasn't here. I wouldn't like to get another companion in a cage too."

Notes:
