Work Text:
they shuffled through their things, anxiously looking for an item they just could not find. this object held a semblance of importance to them, even if to the ordinary person it would look useless. slowly but surely, they gave up on finding said item. this would sulk their entire mood for the rest of the day.
standing up, they picked up their phone and messaged their boyfriend, their lovely, so rad, so cool, skateboard. he would make them feel better, and feel safer.
when they heard the doorbell ring, they lit up. they knew it was him at the door, and rushed to open it.
they adored the stupid, cute smile he wore when they opened the door. he was perfect, in all ways they liked. he greeted them cheerfully, happy to see them once more.
this brightened their mood more than it should’ve, he always made their day brighter.
they hugged eachother for a while, before ending up on the couch, with skateboard holding them. they put on a show for background noise as they cuddled for warmth.
skateboard peppered kisses all over their face, making them blush. they hugged skate tighter.
“i love you, ya know?” skate said still holding them in his arms.
