Oikawa had been on ‘break’ from practice for a long time. Iwa took notice of this and went outside to check on him.
“Oikawa?” He said, walking out the back doors. He walked farther away from the building, only to see a giant cloud of smoke. “What the fuck..”
Oikawa was busy vaping when he heard his childhood friends voice from afar. He quickly put it in his jacket and walked over to Iwa.
“Hi Iwa-Chan!!!” Oikawa said, cheerfully. “Whyd you come out..?” Oikawa asked, hoping he wasn’t suspicious.
“I was worried about you, you had been out here for a long time. And what’s up with the smoke, is there a fire or something?” Iwa said, confusion and curiosity lacing his voice.
“Yeah, but luckily i put it out, the bushes caught on fire, so there’s still a little smoke.” Oikawa replied, uneasily.
“oh alright, let’s head back in, everyone was worried about you.” Iwa said, and began walking back, Oikawas phone dinged with a text.
‘Yo we still on for tn?’
‘yk it.’
Oikawa put his phone away and began walking inside.
It was after practice now and it went smoothly, besides people talking abt the appearent fire. Oikawa began his way home, and opened his door, realizing it was still unlocked.
“Fuck…” he muttered under his breath. This means the group chat got there before him, meaning every blunt was now rolled, and at least one was smoked.
“OIKAWA-SAN!!!” Lev jumped up from his spot and ran to Oikawa, giving him a huge hug.
“Hey Lev!!”. He ruffled Levs hair. “Hey chibi-chan! Oh and hey Atsuuu, where’s Suna?”
“He couldn’t make it.” Atsumu replied, shrugging.
“Oh alright!” Oikawa said, he walked in and saw exactly what he expected, a smoked blunt, and three other rolled ones. “Damn, y’all do know Seijoh and Nekoma have a practice match tomorrow…RIGHT?!”
“It was my idea.” Lev speaks up from where he was still standing next to Oikawa, “I just, I’ve had a hard day today at practice, everyone was yelling at me.” Tears began forming in his eyes. “I just needed something, i’m sorry Oikawa…”
“It’s okay Lev, I promise.” He gives Lev a huge bear hug. “Oh Lev! If you really want to have fun tomorrow, I could make gummies if you know where i’m going with this.” Levs eyes lit up at this.
“Don’t gotta tell me twice.”
Lev knew it was a bad idea, of course he knew it was a bad idea, but he didn’t care, he was tired of consistently getting yelled at, being degraded, especially by his crush. Yaku. He loved Yaku, he had never felt this way for someone before, but the libero didn’t feel the same. It was the day of the practice match, and Lev had stayed the night at Oikawas, telling the team he’d just get a ride to the game himself, nobody cared, as they actually preferred had he not gone with them. Before Lev and Oikawa left, they smoked half a blunt, hit a cart and took an edible.
“Are you sure this is a good idea you guys…” Hinata asked, Lev simply shrugged and laughed, it was hitting him.
Oikawa called an uber to get them to the practice game, nobody knew these two were friends, but they were. So they tried to avoid everybody the best they can.
Oikawa leaned over to Lev, “Bro…Are you feeling it too?”
“yes, i think im starting to green out for real…” They both started dying laughing at that. “My throat is hellaaaaa dry right now.”
“Word!!!” Oikawa said, as that was all he could get out, he knew he was beginning to go nonverbal.
They had arrived at the practice game, they were a few minutes early, so Lev waited for his team to arrive, their eyes were blood shot, luckily Oikawa always carried 7 care relief eye drops on him, but they were still hella red. Oikawa was becoming verbal again, thank the lords.
“Shittykawa!!!” Iwa yelled, him and Lev were just sitting outside of the building.
“Iwa-Chan!!!” He yelled excitedly, running up to him. Lev began bursting out laughing. “SHUT UP LEV.” He has completely forgot about Iwa at this point and attacked Lev, causing them both to tumble and audibly die.
“What the fuck is up with him…” Makki whispered to Iwa. Iwa simply shrugged he had no idea but he was determined to find out.
