Gladion couldn’t animate his features as well as Hau, though the younger boy wouldn’t fault him for it, more than happy to ask Gladion outright what he was feeling. That was fine, to a point. Recently, the sight of Hau would send Butterfrees through his stomach, so Hau popping out of nowhere and asking, “Hey, what’re you thinking about?” made him more than squeamish.
He asked Lillie about it because girls were supposed to know what to do about these things, but she kept poking at the root cause, which was out of the question. What’s he supposed to do?
