Some time after Rae’s duel with Manaria, Rae and Claire were talking about what happened, and Rae said she wanted to quit her job as Claire’s servant.
“Are you sure?” Claire asked.
“Yes.”
“Understood. Your pay will be calculated up to today, so be sure to come collect it at a later date. Thank you for your service, Rae.” Claire smiled. “I hope we can be friends.”
“…I hope so, too.”
“And if you ever change your mind and want your job back, let me know.”
“Thank you.”
