Han is sitting at his desk in his room. It’s a day just like any other, where he’s trying to work on a song. The dorms are almost empty and quiet for once, so he decided to make good use of this opportunity. But it seems like his inspiration is lacking. He grunts and gets up, heading out of his room and towards the fridge.
Han rummages through the fridge while grumbling when he hears a voice that shouldn’t be there.
“Hey Hannie, everything’s good?”
Han jumps a little and turn around. He didn’t expect anyone to be there, he thought everyone had gone outside for the day. There in the living room, Lee Know is slumped on the couch. He smiles slyly at Han’s reaction.
“Oi, you startled me, man” Han sighs.
Lee Know chuckles to himself and asks again if everything is alright with Han.
“Yeah yeah, I’m just… trying to come up with some lyrics since this morning but I can’t find anything worth it.” He scratches his neck and pauses. Then he looks back at Lee Know, still all slouched on the couch, his phone in his hand. “What about you? You seem… in the middle of some great activity.”
Lee Know sighs deeply.
“Man, I’m so bored.” He throws his phone on the couch and gets up. He walks by Han and opens a cupboard, searches for a bit, and finds some microwavable popcorn. He turns to Han again and smiles. “Hey, wanna watch a movie? Who knows, maybe a break would do some good to your inspiration.”
Han thinks about it for a second and shrugs.
“Yeah maybe. But I get to choose the movie!” He chuckles and runs towards the living room while Lee Know gathers snacks and drinks for both.
Han chooses a movie about ghosts and Lee Know draws the curtains to make the room darker. They sit next to each other, and the movie starts. It’s one of these movies where they mostly rely on jump scares rather than a real creepy atmosphere. It’s clearly not a masterpiece but Han still finds himself fully immersed in the movie. Lee Know often glances at him to watch his reactions.
“Hey, Han?”
Han doesn’t react, so invested in the movie that he didn’t even hear him. Lee Know gently tap his shoulder to get his attention.
“Huh?” Han finally takes his eyes off the screen and turns his head towards Lee Know.
“Are you not scared?”
Han laughs confidently. “Naah, there’s no reason to be scared. I know it will be scary so I’m mentally prepared for anything that can happen!”
Lee Know laughs as Han sticks out his chest. “Oh really?”
Han nods and jokes with a prideful expression. “I’m too strong to be scared~”
Lee Know scoffs and the two boys turn their attention towards the television. The movie continues and another screamer effect happens. Han doesn’t even react and boasts. “Ha. See? Not even scared a little bi—” But as he was saying that another loud screamer follows the first one. Han jumps and slightly squeals, as he didn’t expect it.
Lee Know laughs brightly. “Oh yeah, I see. I was right, you scaredy cat~”
Han slightly blushes and pretends to pout. “It’s not fair. I thought the scene was over…”
Lee Know still laughs loudly at Han. “I win. I will remember this in the next argument as a proof!”
Han tries to keep his pouting face but he can’t help but laugh a little too. He pokes Lee Know’s side as a revenge. “You’re mean hyung.”
“And you’re cute when you’re scared. Now let's watch the next part, okay? But don't be that scared again. It is embarrassing.”
Han sticks his tongue out at Lee Know and laugh before turning to the screen again. As the movie continues, the younger decides to plot his revenge. He slowly gets closer and, when a moment of tension arises, grabs the other’s shoulders suddenly.
Lee Know is a bit startled and jumps from the scare. “Huh?!”
Han laughs loudly and proudly at his mischief and for making Lee Known jump. “See, who's scared now?” He looks at Lee Know, his doe eyes wide open with a surprised expression before they soften.
“Hey, you startled me!” He smiles at the other “You could scare me to death, you know. But I still won’t admit it.”
Han continues to tease him playfully. “Hyung, you were scaaaared~”
“No! You just startled me! You know I don’t like sudden loud noises!”
“Call it however you want, you jumped and were startled so I win hehe.”
Lee Know raises an eyebrow and smiles mischievously. “Are you making this a challenge Hannie? I will show you that was a big mistake.”
Han looks at him with confidence. “Your tricks won’t work on me anymore hyung.”
Lee Know seems to be thinking for a second. He smiles and get closer, his piercing eyes still in Han’s. “Oh really? I bet I can find another way to scare you…”
Han still smiles and looks at him with defying eyes. “Do your worst.”
Lee Know keeps getting closer, he’s almost leaning on the boy now. And he keeps staring in his eyes. Han’s smile starts to fade as his cheeks are painted pink, but he still holds his ground. He won’t let his hyung win just like that. He can handle a bit of teasing, it’s not the first time. But as the older boy keeps getting closer, he’s not so confident anymore.
“Stop joking hyung…”
Lee Know’s face is really close now and Han’s blushing keeps getting worse.
“You can close your eyes if you’re scared Hannie~”
Lee Know is only inches away from Han’s face. He can feel his breath on his skin as he says the words with his devilishly sweet voice. And he keeps… getting… closer… Han can’t take it anymore. He turns his head and put his hands on Lee Know’s torso to stop him from getting even closer. He is as red as one could be and stutter a bit.
“R-Right, you’ve won. Happy now?”
Lee Know laughs and whisper near his ear. “I'm always happy when I can make you blush, Hannie. This is like a daily reminder that you are a cute dork.” He giggles. “And now we have something to blackmail each other with.”
Han is still looking away, blushing and… disturbed? Lee Know extend his hand and brushes a strand of hair out of Han’s face.
“Don’t be shy~ You look so cute when you are so embarrassed.”
Han quickly stands up. He can’t stand the proximity anymore and feel like running away. “I better… I better go back to work now. Before the others come back. Yes...” He leaves quickly, headed to his room.
Lee Know’s smile drops as he gets up to follow Han. “Wait, Jisung.” He grabs his wrist so they can face each other.
Han turns around but doesn’t look at him. He is still slightly pink and can’t lock eyes with Lee Know. “W-What is it again? Still wanna make fun of me?”
“No…” Lee Know’s voice is soft, almost pained. “Look, I’m sorry. I didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable. I just wanted to tease you a little for the bet.” He scratches his neck, anxious that he might have gone too far. His voice is soft as he tries to reassure Han in any way he can. “You know how I am, it’s just like a big brother playing with his little bro. My teasing is still harmless, and I wouldn’t do anything that would really make you uncomfortable.” He tries to smile.
Han replies, a bit absentmindedly. “Yeah, that right… You’re just playing…”
“So… are we good?” Lee Know asks cautiously. Han nods briefly and Lee Know sighs in relief before smiling playfully again. “I'm always happy when I can tease you, Han. But I guess you can take your revenge on me as well, so we can be even. I’ll just have to be ready for your revenge.”
Han bites his lips, still not looking at Lee Know. “No, I would never play with your feelings hyung.” He tries to conceal it but his tone is bitter and the other notices it. But before he could say anything about it, Han turns away and walks towards his room.
“Huh? Jisung? Did I say something wrong? I’m sorry if I did, I never meant to—” As he tries to explain himself, he follows Han, but he already entered his room and closed the door behind himself.
Han leans on the door, thinking about what just happened, about Lee Know’s words and actions. How he said that all this was just a game. He doesn’t know why but those words cut him to the quick. Of course, it was just a game. What else could it be? It had always been this way with Lee Know. He would tease and do this sort of things with every member. The famous butt-hunter of the group. Han knew it all along, it was nothing new. So why did it sting when he heard him say it? Thoughts were rushing in his head and Han didn’t like that. He could feel himself spiraling and he knew the sensation all too well. He’s brought back to reality by a tiny couple of knocks on his door.
“Jisung? I’m sorry if I said something wrong… Can I come in?”
“Why? Don’t you have anyone else to play?” Han’s words come out harsher that he intended.
“Open the door please. We are not playing anymore.” His voice is small, sheepish. He sounds sad but Han can’t hear it over his own thoughts.
“You're always playing! You're never serious about anything. You just act like that with everyone. I know.” Han’s voice gets louder, a bit shakier.
Lee Know notices the hurt tone in Han’s voice and tries to open the door once again but the other one is still leaning on it on the other side. “Han don't shut yourself away. Please open the door, I don't want to talk through the door. I’m sorry—”
“I don’t want to… Leave me alone please…” He has a lump in his throat but tries to hide it. His thoughts are still spiraling and start to make him a bit dizzy.
Lee Know can hear that Han is sad from the tone of his voice, and his gets more serious now “Han, don't do this. Please open the door, let me in. I don't want you to be sad because of me.” He knocks again.
Han’s voice is weaker now. “It’s okay… I’m not sad… I’m not scared… I’m okay…”
Han quietly moves from the door and go sit on his bed. Although he didn’t make much noise, Lee Know hears him getting on his bed and tries again to open the door. Without the other one leaning against it, he opens it easily and enters the room. He looks at the bed where Han is seated and walks towards him, a look of worry on his face. He never meant to stir up such discomfort and hurt in Jisung and it pains him to see him like that, and knowing that it’s his fault… He sits besides him, awkwardly. He doesn’t get too close to not perturb him any more and looks at him with serious, concerned eyes.
“Han, I'm sorry. I made you uncomfortable and hurt you, but it was never my intention. Can you tell me what bothers you now? I'm sorry again, I don't want to play with your feelings. I guess I went too far this time.”
Han is looking away, his hands on his thighs. He reply in a low voice “It's okay... I'm not mad at you...”
“But you are sad, right? I can see it.” He could see that Han’s eyes were wet and it made him worry even more and feel guilty “I thought we both were having fun, but I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable. I hope that you don't hate me for that, I didn’t mean to go too far…”
“I don't hate you... I was just feeling... weird” His voice is low, his last word almost whispered in the silence of the room, as he slightly clenches his shirt, where his heart would be.
Lee Know still looks worried. “Weird about what, Han? I can tell that it's something more is going on right now. Can you talk to me about it?”
Han blushes and starts looking a bit anxious. What is he saying? He doesn’t even know himself what he means. Or… he doesn’t want to think about it. “I-It's nothing, don't worry.” He tightens his fists on his thighs, trying to keep them from slightly shaking.
Lee Know tries to reassure him. His voice is soft, and he smiles faintly. “Han, you don't have to be nervous with me. You can tell me everything, we can solve it together. You know that I always got your back, right?”
Han looks at Minho's smile and feels a little heartache. He buries his face in his hands. “I'm just weird ...” His voice sounds a bit troubled, shameful and it doesn’t escape Lee Know who gently takes him into his arms.
“Jisung, you are not weird. You are just you.” He tries to make his voice sound as soothing and encouraging as possible. “Look at me.” Han slowly raises his head and look at Lee Know who smiles gently. “You can trust me, I believe in you.”
Lee Know wishes Han could feel comfortable enough to speak his mind with him right now. He can’t bear seeing his little squirrel so sad and anxious. His own heart feels like it’s crumbling whenever Han isn’t alright. It’s always been this way and he knows he will always feel that. Because Han is so important for him.
Han seems on the verge of breaking down. He looks at Lee Know’s gentle smile and can’t contain his tears anymore. “Minho hyung…” His voice is strangled as he starts sobbing.
Lee Know’s voice gets even softer now and he hugs Han more tightly. “It’s okay Jisungie, you can cry. Let it all out. I’m here for you no matter what.”
Han gives in to Lee Know's embrace and lets him hug him, immobile. Tears start falling down his cheeks and he starts to sob silently. As the older boy continues to gently hug him, he rocks him in his arms, trying to be as careful and soothing as possible. Lee Know is so cautious and patient. He gently whispers words of reassurance and strokes Han’s back, as he would do with a scared little animal.
“I'm here for you. I'm not going anywhere, just let it out.” He wants Han to let his guard down and to talk to him about what is bothering him or what made him feel like that. And yet, he is scared it might be his doing. That it might be his fault his precious Jisung is so desperate.
Han's heartaches when he hears Lee Know's soft and reassuring voice. He really seems to worry about his state and that makes Han feel even more conflicted. He passes his arms on each side of Lee Know and grips the back of shirt, burying his face against Lee Know's chest. Tears are flowing endlessly and he's sobbing and shaking violently now, letting it all out. There’s too many things going on inside his head for him to bother about whether or not he looks stupid right now, crying like a baby in his friend’s arms.
Lee Know's words are soothing for Han. He finally starts to calm down, little by little. But he doesn't want to break the embrace yet. He wants to feel Lee Know's strong arms gently holding him a little bit longer. Lee Know starts stroking Han's hair in the most delicate and soft way possible and Han's heart beats faster. He slowly breaks from Lee Know's embrace and looks him in the eyes. He's still hesitant to talk, thinking about what he's feeling and how to formulate his thoughts. Lee Know is still looking at him, patiently waiting and giving Han all the time he needs to ponder on his thoughts.
Han starts hesitantly. “Hyung... Can... Can I ask you something...?” He wipes the tears from his left cheek.
Lee Know nod his head “Of course. Just ask. I'm here for you.” He thinks for a second before timidly leaning closer and speaking softly “You can ask me anything.” He doesn’t want Han to be scared again of him getting closer but at the same time, he feels like he would sound more authentic and ready to support him if he wasn’t putting so much distance between them. And since he hugged him just a minute ago anyway… Lee Know knows he may be thinking too much about it, but he can’t help it.
Han's heart skips a beat when Lee Known moves his face closer to his. But he still manages to form a sentence. “Why... Why do you always tease me so much?”
It’s Lee Know’s heart’s turn to skip a bit. This question kind of caught him off guard. And yet… What is he supposed to answer? Of course, he knows what’s the reason. Has always known. It never changed for him and it’s not new either. But what can he SAY? It’s not like he can just answer him right now, like that. Not when he just finally calmed down for a breakdown he may or may not have had because of Lee Know teasing him before.
Lee Know’s heartbeats echoes the race of his thoughts as he ponders what he should say to the love of his life sitting beside him when he asks him why he teases him so much. “It’s because I love you, dummy.” The words linger in his mind, unable to find their way to his mouth. He can’t say that. He knows it. What good would it do? It would only confuse Jisung more, gross him out in the worst-case scenario. And yet… When his eyes find Han’s and dive into those hazelnut fields, he can’t think of any good excuse.
Without even realizing, he says “Do you want to have an honest answer, or do you want me to give you a comforting answer?” his eyes still lost in Han’s.
Han is moved by Lee Know's deep stare. He pauses for a second to think before answering, a bit anxious. “H-Honest. Please…” He’s afraid to hear the answer. But he doesn’t even now which outcome scares him.
Lee Know starts sweating and he hates himself for what he just said. How could he allow himself to ask such a stupid question? Now what could he say except the truth? He never liked lying, and even less to Han so how could he look him in the eyes and lie to his face after he offered to give him an honest answer. His hands start to fidget on his thighs unconsciously and he’s glad Han’s gaze is on his face so he can’t see it, but at the same time those lovely eyes make him even more anxious. Will they still look at him with such sparkles after he tells him? Will they ever look at him again actually? Lee Know can feel himself start to panic and he knows Han will notice it too soon if he doesn’t say anything. And finally… Something inside him gives up. He can’t escape anymore. He gathers the little courage he has left in him, tries not to shake to much as he scratches his neck and look away from Han. He takes a deep breath and answers.
“The reason I always tease you… I mean if I tease you it’s… Well, I guess I l-like it. I mean… I like… you…” His voice keeps getting lower as he speaks and yet he can’t seem to stop talking, as if the moment he stops talking it would become real and he would have to face Han’s refusal, his anger or disgust. “I guess the reason why I tease you and play these kinds of games is because I'm too insecure and afraid to ask you straightforward. I know that you probably don't feel the same way about me but... But if you tell me that you don't feel the same way about me, then... I will just get over it eventually. I can just see you as my best friend...” He just keeps talking, saying words after words, so fast that he could probably compete with Han for the main rapper position of their group right now.
Han's eyes widen in surprise and for a moment, it seems like he forgot how to breath. Did Lee Know really just say that? He can't believe his ears. Lee Know’s words make Han's heart start to pound rapidly in his chest and he can feel the blood rushing to his face. When Lee Know finally looks at Han and see his reaction, he blushes even more furiously, now painfully aware of his rambling and the fact that he’s awkwardly confessing to his best friend of several years.
Han can see that Lee Know is really anxious and looks like he's on the verge of panicking while waiting for Han's reaction. Han on the other hand is frozen, his heart is beating so loud that he wonders if Lee Know can hear it too. He starts feeling lightheaded as most of his blood is rushing to his face. Seeing Lee Know turning red and stuttering doesn't help. This is such a rare sight and Han can’t help but find him excessively cute right now.
Han almost whispers. “Hyung…”
Lee Know shuts his mouth quickly when he hears Han trying to talk. His face becomes a bit redder as Han doesn't say anything. He still looks anxious and his heart beats harder and faster as he feel his whole body go hot. He never expected to say that right now. He tries his best to stay calm and wait for Han's reply. In his mind, he’s already trying to get ready for the downfall but how could he when he knows he’s about to lose so much.
“Hyung... This is not another one of your games... Right…?” Han asks timidly. He knows that Lee Know couldn't be faking his reactions right now, but he still can't believe what is happening right now.
Lee Know looks nervously at Han and try not to stutter or be too awkward. “It’s not a game or a joke, Jisung.” He gulps. Since the situation ended up like that, he should at least pour his heart out. “I really like you… from the day we first met. You may not feel the same way about me but I have to be honest and speak my heart before I regret later. I didn't want to be in the friend zone forever or wonder everytime what could have happened if I confessed, or if I didn’t stop my teasing before going too far, so I'm taking my chance. But I don’t want to lose you. And I would completely understand if you didn’t feel the same, of course… And if you need time alone or if you want to put some distance between us for some time I could…” Each word was more painful to say than the previous one. As he talked, Lee Know started considering the idea of Han not wanting to see him anymore and them being separated, even if only for some time, was breaking his heart. His hands were sweating, and he was trying hard to refrain his thoughts from spiraling out of control and panicking.
Han's heart is still pounding in his chest. It all feels surreal. Han isn't sure he understands what he's feeling right now but he can feel heaps of butterflies flying in his stomach. He looks at the flustered and panicking Lee Know that is sitting in front of him. It hurst to see him like this. He’s always so confident and sure of himself. He’s never looked as small and vulnerable as he does right now. Han notices that Lee Know's hands are shaking on his thighs, so he grabs them and looks at him before giving him a faint reassuring smile.
“Minho hyung... I...” Lee Know looks at Han with difficulty. His heart is racing, waiting for Han’s next words like a thirsty man in the desert waiting for the smallest drop of saving rain. Han smiles shyly and awkwardly to try and put an end to his misery. “"I... I think I might... L-Like you too Minho hyung..."
Lee Know stops breathing. Or at least he must have stopped breathing at some prior point because he suddenly remembers that he has to breath and has to do it manually. His face is brighter than a tomato while he tries to process Han’s answer. He’s looking at the younger boy, his doe eyes slowly blinking. Han is also blushing a whole lot, trying his best to smile and reassure Lee Know who’s still in shock. After a couple of seconds of silence, Lee Know seems to snap back to reality and his eyes linger on Han’s face. It feels like a dream. Is it? Still engrossed in the moment, he leans a bit closer and looks deeply into Han’s eyes.
“Is it okay if I…”
Han is flustered by Lee Know's serious tone as he asked his question. He blushes a bit more when he understands what Lee Know is meaning with his question. He wants Han's permission to kiss him. “And this time it's not a game or to scare me,” Han thinks. He looks at Lee Know's face now that it's closer. His long eyelashes, his doe eyes, his sharp nose and finally... His lips. They look really soft from so closely. Han leans a bit closer and close his eyes.
The older one blushes even more when Han closes his eyes. He can't resist him anymore and he wants to make the first move now. He slowly moves towards Han and put his hands on the side of his jaw lightly before he closes his eyes as well. He is nervous, excited and can't believe that he's kissing Han right now. He put his lips on Han's lips softly. The kiss is shy, cautious, and soft. Han can feel Lee Know’s anxiousness and his desire to make everything right. Han wants to reassure him. He returns his kiss, softly, still a bit awkward about kissing his best friend for the first time.
Lee Know can feel Han's desire to make him feel safe and comfortable and can't believe that he was able to finally kiss him. He holds Han's head, his hand shakes a bit and he can feel a couple of tears rolling down his cheeks. Are they tears of anxiety finally relieved or tears of happiness? He doesn’t know himself, but he doesn’t care at the moment. Only one thing matters: he’s kissing Han.
Han can feel Lee Know's hands shaking a bit on his cheek but he didn't expect to feel tears running down Lee Know's cheeks. He moves back a little bit and looks at Lee Know, a bit agitated and confused.
“Hyung, a-are you okay?! I'm sorry, was it really that bad? I-It was my first kiss, I-I don't really know how to—" He starts stammering anxiously.
Lee Know wipes the tears that were running on his cheek and giggle shyly. He feels a bit embarrassed now. He tries to talk calmly to Han.
“No, Jisung, don't be sorry. It was… You were perfect.” He smiles warmly.
Han gulps. He finds Lee Know really cute and enticing right now. He looks even more gorgeous from so closely. Han is mesmerized. He nods absentmindedly, his eyes fixed on Lee Know's lips. Lee Know’s face turns hotter from Han’s gaze on his lips. He had always loved to see Han’s expression when he’s focused on something, but he never once dreamt of having this intense gaze directed towards him. It makes his heart race even faster. He leans forward again, only a breath away from each other. “Jisung, close your eyes please…”
Han complies. His heart is pounding in his chest, and he wonders if Lee Know can hear it too. The latter smiles as Han close his eyes and lean towards him again. His hand is shaking a bit more, but he can't resist anymore. He wants to do it correctly this time. He put his hands on Han's shoulder and neck to be steady and then start their second kiss slowly. He takes his time to make their second kiss as wonderful as possible.
Han feels Lee Know’s lips brush his own. He feels his hot breath against his face as he's so close. A second that feels like an hour passes before the boy finally musters the courage to kiss Han again. It is soft and passionate at the same time. Han returns the kiss, making sure that Lee Know feels that Han is enjoying this too, in an attempt to ease his anxiety.
His face turns redder as he hears Han's breathless yet soft moan. He can’t resist anymore; he needs to feel Han closer. He holds Han tightly and kiss him again. It's more passionate than the first one, he can't stop himself from kissing Han again and again. He starts to tremble a bit more as he can't hold his emotions back anymore. He doesn’t want to scare him, but years of suppressed feelings overwhelms him all at once.
Han is short of breath due to Lee Know's constant kissing but it's not an unpleasant feeling. Lee Know's kisses are soft and passionate. Han can feel that he's trying to contain himself to take it slow and not scare him. He opens his eyes, eager to see Lee Know's face when he kisses him. He blushes when he locks eyes with Lee Know and realize he was already watching him. This last kiss is full of passion and love, the love they've been holding back all this time when they both thought this would never happen.
They finally part away from each other, both blushing and a bit out of breath. Lee Know couldn't help but start touching Han's face and hair gently, to make sure that this is really happening, that it isn't an illusion.
He caresses Han's cheeks and kiss his forehead before he whispers, more to himself than for Han to hear. “I can't believe that my dream has finally come true…” He hugs Han tightly, feeling so happy now that he can finally express his feelings freely and be himself with Han.
Han chuckles lightly. Seeing Lee Know so happy and cuddly is incredibly cute and makes him really happy. Han strokes Lee Know's hair softly. “I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner. We wasted so much time.”
Lee Know smiles gently. “You don’t have to apologize; I didn’t say anything either. And although teasing you was my only mean of getting some kind of proximity with you, it may have confused you even more… Sorry. I never expected you to like me really. I thought that you only saw me as a good friend that is a little too annoying to handle. You were always my best friend, but now you're also my boyfriend, my lover and my everything." He kisses Han's forehead and stroke his hair "I really love you, Han. I will always love you." He speak firmly with a hint of determination in his voice.
Han is moved by Lee Know's words and gaze. There is so much love in his eyes. And it's all for him. He feels blessed to have found him right now, and he wants Lee Know to know it. “I love you too Minho. And thinking back, I’m pretty sure I always did. And will always do.” He chuckles and smiles shyly, embarrassed by his own cheesy words, before hugging Lee Know. He buries his head in Lee Know's neck to hide his embarrassment and his wide happy smile.
Lee Know smiles and blushes as he feels Han's body against his own. He can feel Han's soft smile against his neck and can't resist anymore. He also hugs Han tight and whisper in his ear, “You make me so happy right now, jagi.”
Han's smile widen against Lee Know's neck when he hears his words. Being in Lee Know's embrace is so peaceful for Han. That's where he feels the safest and the most loved. He doesn't want it to stop. But the aftereffects of all of the emotions they had today starts hitting him and Han suddenly feels really tired. And being in such a warm, loving, and peaceful embrace contributes to his getting sleepy. He asks timidly. “Can we stay like this?”
Lee Know laughs softly again as he hears Han's tired and sleepy voice. “Sure, Hannie. I'm not letting you go.” He turns on the side while still holding Han and rest his back on the bed. He strokes Han's hair again and give him a kiss on the forehead. “Sleep well, my darling.” He smiles and closes his eyes as he feel Han's body on his own body. He can feel Han's small breath on his neck, he finds it cute and doesn’t want it to stop.
“You’ll still be there… When I wake up… Right?” Han’s voice is really sleepy and there is a speck of anxiety in it, as if he, too, couldn’t yet believe that this wasn’t all a dream.
Lee Know can hear Han's anxiety and his voice get softer when he replies. “I will be here when you wake up, my love. I will always be here.” He puts his hand on the back of Han's head as he continues to speak softly to him. “Just get some rest, Jisung. Make sweet dreams. I will always be here for you.” He closes his own eyes and starts to fall asleep as well.
Han chuckles weakly, already falling asleep. “I can't make better dreams tonight... My dream... it already... Came... True...”. His voice gets softer and softer as he falls asleep in his now boyfriend and best friend's embrace.
