zoe pov:
i felt something graze my face. a leaf.
it was all dried up and wilted and useless, kinda like me.
it was very windy that day and my hair was all over my face.
thats when i saw her, zoe lee, a popular girl who everyone in town knew about
she walked out of the cafe holding her signature drink, a vanilla and hazelnut latte.
when she posted about it on insta a while ago, it was the most popular drink for a whole month!
her blonde silky hair was flying in the wind.
i was wary of popular girls like her but turns out shes pretty sweet.
last year she was my partner for an English project and was super nice to me.
shes that perfect city girl. pretty, rich, kind, smart.
and thats when she noticed me.
zoe lee: omg zoe!
zoe: hey zoe lee
zoe lee: what are you doing here?
zoe: just taking a walk
zoe lee: cool! i was getting a drink. actually they gave me 1 free drink. what a coincidence that i ran into you. do you want it? its a matcha latte
zoe: thanks! i love matcha lattes
zoe lee: anyway do you have any plans for today?
zoe: not really
zoe lee: do you wanna come over?
zoe nods
we were at her apartment. it was big like really big. i wonder how she can afford it.
we got to her room and it was super neat.
zoe lee: so you wanna play a game?
zoe: sure
we played a video game and we won yes! we were screaming in joy
and thats when she made eye contact. i dont know what broke in me but i suddenly
felt a wave of courage and i leaned in for a kiss. she leaned in too and we shared a magical kiss.
