It had been a good day. Commander Wolffe, your boyfriend, was on Coruscant and had a few days of leave. He'd had to do commanderly things the first couple of days, but now you had him all to yourself.
The two of you had spent a lazy morning together, making breakfast and snuggling on your couch. Now you were wandering the market district near your apartment. Your stomach growled and Wolffe looked over at you with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you hungry?" you asked.
"You're the one with a growling nexu in their belly," he replied.
"Fair point."
You led the way to a nearby food cart and ordered nerf tacos for you and Wolffe. The two of you took seats at a nearby table shaded by an umbrella and you dug into the food with relish. You were halfway through your second taco and considering going back for a couple more when you looked over at Wolffe. His elbow was resting on the table, his chin cupped in his hand, as he watched you. He hadn't touched his tacos yet.
"Do I have something on my face?" you asked.
"I could just stare at you forever," Wolffe said, a soft look in his mismatched eyes.
"Creep," you said affectionately.
He grinned and reached out, pulling a bit of nerf meat from your taco and popping it into his mouth.
"Hey!" you whined.
"Better finish that before I eat it for you," Wolffe said.
"You haven't even started on your own tacos yet," you said, before stuffing the rest of your taco in your mouth.
The smile Wolffe gave you was fond. He pushed his tacos toward you.
"You eat those, and I'll go get a couple of fresh ones."
"Hurry back," you said around a mouthful of nerf taco.
Wolffe bent and pressed a kiss to your cheek. "I always do."
