My Best Friend's Brother

Summary:

When it came to his "romantic" side, Porsche was sure of a few things. He didn't date, he didn't repeat partners, and he didn't do men. But one fateful encounter made him start questioning everything. Fortunately, Porsche is able to turn to Chay and Kim, his best friend, for advise. Little does he know that things more closely connected than he thought.

Notes:

Hey everyone! Here is my first post of 2024. Sorry that I had to take a bit of a hiatus. So I figured that a late Valentines day post, that has nothing to do with the holiday, would be perfect. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy and, as always, please let me know what you think or if you see any spelling or grammar mistakes.
Thank you!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Porsche lets out a groan as he walks down the stairs. He should have never done shots last night, he had been drunk enough beforehand. Now he was nauseous and his head was pounding and he was- sore in ways he had never been before. He squints as the sun from the living room window blinds him as he gets to the bottom of the stairs. He hears quiet singing from the kitchen and knows that Chay is already up. Porsche grumbles as he walks into the kitchen to find Chay cooking.

“Hmm. Good morning.”

“It’s almost noon, Hia.”

“Really? Fuck.”

Chay quietly laughs.

“You did get in really late, to be fair. Are you hungry?”

Porsche is about to decline because he feels like he’s going to throw up but then he catches a whiff of the food Chay is making and his mouth starts watering. He nods enthusiastically and Chay lets out another laugh. Chay plates up some food for him and he begins to devour it. The salty food does help with his nausea but it did nothing for his pounding headache. Chay sets a glass of water down in front of him along with an electrolyte packet. Chay had dealt with him being hungover enough to know what made him feel better.

“Do you want coffee or are you going to go back to bed?”

“Coffee please. Yok is having a shipment coming in at the bar at three and is paying me double to go and organize it with her. If I go back to bed now I will just be sleepy and cranky later on.”

Chay nods and starts making him some coffee while Porsche finishes his food.

“Aren’t you supposed to be on a date right now? Or am I thinking of the wrong day?”

“The music festival is today, it just doesn’t start until 1:00. Kim is coming over early though, he told me he is on his way so he should be here in maybe ten minutes.”

Porsche groans because he knows that Kim is going to give him shit. He had met Kim three years ago through some mutual friends and had quickly hit it off and became good friends. What Porsche didn’t know was that Kim had hit it off with Chay in a completely different way. Porsche hadn't thought much about it when Kim and Chay started spending more time together with the excuse that Kim was tutoring Chay in guitar. That was until he walked in on one of their “lessons” after getting home early and finding his friend with his tongue down his brother's throat. At first, Porsche had been mad at his friend for making moves on his baby brother and had even tried to physically fight Kim. Then Chay had sat him down and told him that A) he had been the one to make a move on Kim and B) Kim had been hesitant to start anything because even though he really likes Chay, he didn’t want to ruin his friendship with Porsche. It had taken a while for him to get used to it but now, about a year later, it’s just part of their normal life.

Porsche moves to the living room and is about to sit down when the bell rings.

“Please get that, Hia. my hands are full.”

Porsche groans and goes to open the door, grimacing when the sunlight hits him. He looks at his friend who is now grinning at him.

“Wow, you look like shit.”

“Yeah, fuck you too.”

Porsche turns away, leaving the door open for Kim to come in. Walks back to the living room and flops down on the couch. He hears Kim laughing at his pain and flips him off before partially sitting up. Kim sits down on the couch and even though he is clearly amused by his misery he is also a bit concerned.

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah, my head just hurts and I’m sore.”

“He’s hung over. That’s what’s going on.”

Chay walks into the room and sets a cup of coffee on the coffee table before walking over to Kim. Kim pulls Chay so that he is sitting sideways on his lap and kisses his cheek.

“How are you, Angel?”

“I’m good. Although I’m better now that you are here.”

Porsche makes a gagging noise and Kim shoots him a look.

“Don’t be rude. It’s not our fault we’re in love and you have no love life. Well, actually, you sort of have one if the marks on your neck are anything to go by.”

Porsche reaches a hand up to cover his neck, his face starting to turn red. Kim lets out a laugh.

“That good, huh?”

“Kim, don't tease him.”

“Why not? He teases us all the time, it only seems fair.”

Porsche glares at Kim which just makes him grin.

“So did you get her number?”

Porsche sits up fully and regrets it as his head starts to spin. He steadies himself and then grabs the coffee that Chay had made him.

“You’re an ass, Kim. And no, I didn’t get his number.”

The room goes silent and Kim and Chay stare at him with wide eyes.

“What?”

“I’m sorry, HIS?”

Oh, that explained the staring.

“Yes, his, is there an issue with that?”

Kim and Chay shake their heads before turning to each other. Kim smirks and Chay gives him a disapproving look.

“Well that explains why he’s so sore.”

“Kim!”

“What? I’m not wrong, especially if this was his first time with a guy.”

“Can you not talk about me like I’m not here!”

Chay gives him an apologetic smile.

“Sorry, Hia. So how was it? I mean I don’t want all of the details but you know, this is a pretty big deal.”

Porsche thinks for a moment before shrugging.

“It was fine.”

“Just fine?”

“It…. I don’t know, I’ve never been with a guy so I don’t have anything to compare it to.”

“It can't really be that different, Hia.”

Porsche raises a brow at his brother. Chay looks at him confused for a minute before his face starts to turn red. Kim decides to save his poor boyfriend and clears his throat.

“As the only one in the room with actual experience on both ends I'll tell you that other than a few physical aspects, it's not that different. Well, not counting the homophobes hating you because they are dumb fucks who need to get a life.”

“Thanks for clarifying that Kim, but honestly, you two are making this a way bigger deal than this needs to be. The chances of me seeing the guy again is pretty small so it's not like I'm going to start dating the guy. Honesty, I don’t think that I even got his name.”

“You fucked a guy with out even getting a first name? Wait, how drunk were you?”

“Not at all. We got drinks after.”

“Aren't you supposed to do that in the other order?”

Porsche huffs and shakes his head.

“Alright, no more questions about my sex life. Don't you two have somewhere to be?”

Kim checks his watch.

“Shit! Yeah we need to get going, parking is going to be a bitch if we don't leave soon.”

Kim and Chay get up, Chay running off to grab his phone and shoes. Kim gives Porsche a slightly concerned look.

“Are you going to be okay?”

“Yeah. I'm going to go shower and then consume enough caffeine to kill a small child.”

Kim lets out a chuckle, shaking his head at his friend.

“Right, well we won't be back until probably after you leave for work so have fun at work.”

Porsche nods and Chay walks back into the room ready to go.

“Oh, and if the guy shows up again at least try and get his name before you fuck him again.”

“Fuck off!”

A few weeks pass and Porsche pretty much forgets about his hook up. Honestly he had way more important things to be thinking about, like making sure he gets enough money to pay rent. It's a Thursday night, which most people would hate for working at a bar but Porsche actually loved. Yes, Thursdays were significantly slower than the weekend. However most of the clients were older people with money, most of them regulars. Most of the people in the bar were over the age of thirty-five, business men, groups of mothers, and Porsche’s personal favorites, rich elderly women who will buy expensive drinks if it means they get attention from the hot bartender. There is a group of girls who are in their twenties but they're celebrities a birthday so they're ordering a lot of drinks. Porsche likes nights like these because he can be more relaxed and less rushed while still getting just as good if not better tips than a busy Friday night.

Porsche has just finished delivering drinks to a group of ladies, strategically dropping compliments because, no, he is not ashamed to flirt for a better tip. He quickly checks his phone to make sure Chay hasn't called or texted. Seeing nothing, he sighs and takes a small sip from a drink. Yok walks up to him and nudges him.

“You've got someone at the end of the bar, Porsche.”

Porsche lets out another sigh and makes sure his shirt is neat before turning to deal with the customer. He almost trips over his own feet when he sees the man from a few weeks ago sitting at the end of the bar. Porsche does his best to keep his shock off his face and walks up to him, leaning on the counter.

“What can I get you?”

Porsche can tell that the other man is holding back a flirty remark.

“What do you recommend?”

“For you, the most expensive drink we have.”

The man chuckles and gives Porsche a heated look.

“Surprise me then.”

Porsche grins and gets to work on a drink. He loved it when he got to pick what drink to make, especially when he got to guess what kind of drink the person would like. He took one more look at the man before grabbing a bottle of bourbon and orange bitters. It only takes a minute or two to make the drink but it feels like an eternity while under the man's gaze. He finishes the drink and sets it down in front of the man. The man takes a sip and nods approvingly.

“This is very good.”

“Thanks, I take my praise in tips, pretty boy.”

“Kinn.”

“What?”

“My name is Kinn, not pretty boy.”

“I think I like pretty boy better.”

Kinn chuckles again, leaning forward on the bar a little.

“Is it because you find me pretty? That's generally not the word that gets used to describe me.”

Porsche lets out a snort.

“I'm going to stop calling you that because it's inflating your ego and you are clearly already too full of yourself.”

“You didn't have any complaints a few weeks ago.”

Porsche almost takes a step back.

“Look, if you came back today hoping for a repeat of that night you're going to be disappointed. I don't like to repeat partners and I don't really do men either.”

Kinn raises a brow then smiles.

“I guess that I'm the exception then. I'm honored.”

Porsche smiles. He doesn't know why but he feels so comfortable around the other man. Kinn leans forward on the bar and clears his throat.

“Anyway, I'm not here to try and hook up with you again. Although I wouldn't be terribly upset if we did.”

Porsche raises a brow at him questioningly.

“Then why did you come here?”

“I, I'm sorry if this sounds creepy, but I genuinely haven't been able to get you out of my mind for weeks. No matter how hard I try, I can't stop thinking about you..”

Porsche takes a step back.

“Oh um, thank you?”

“I realize that you don’t know me, and that I don’t know you. So I would like to try and get to know you. I forgot to get your number last time and I figured that I might find you here.”

Porsche doesn’t know what to say, luckily for him, he doesn’t have to since he hears someone call out his name. Porsche looks over to a group of his regulars and nods at them before quickly turning back to Kinn.

“I’m at work. I can’t just stay and talk.”

“That’s alright, I will wait.”

Porsche raises a brow but doesn’t say anything else. He goes around the bar, taking care of all of the customers and still makes a large amount of tips. But the entire time he is distracted. He keeps looking at the bar and every time he is surprised to see Kinn still sitting there. He had fully expected Kinn to get bored and leave but he is still there after several hours.

Porsche closes out the tab on the last group and waves goodbye to them as they leave the bar. He looks around and sees that Kinn is the only one left. Yok walks up to him while also looking around.

“I think that we can probably close a little early tonight. See if that gentleman needs another drink but let him know that the bar will shut down in about thirty minutes.”

Yok walks into the back where her office is and Porsche walks over to where Kinn is sitting.

“You’re still here?”

“I told you that I would wait.”

“Why?”

Porsche wasn’t trying to be rude, he was just confused.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I just did. Though I am realizing that it may have been a bad idea to try this while you are working. What time does your shift end?”

“Normally we close at midnight on weekdays but considering that you are the only one here right now we are going to close a little early. I am actually supposed to see if you need another drink before telling you that we are closing soon.”

Kinn nods and then pulls out some cash and extends it to Porsche.

“I don’t want another drink so you all can go ahead and close up.”

“And you will, what, sit and watch me?”

“I can help if you want.”

Porsche takes the cash and shakes his head.

“You would just get in the way. So say that I clean up and close early, then what?”

“I guess we could go somewhere, if you want.”

“Like a date?”

“It doesn’t have to be a date.”

Porsche almost says no. First of all, he doesn’t know Kinn at all. He could be a serial killer for all Porsche knows. Then there is the whole thing that he doesn’t really do dates. But for some strange reason Porsche wants to agree so badly.

Porsche hesitates and then sighs.

“Give me thirty minutes to clean up.”

Porsche cleans up the bar, very happy that he made the decision to clean and polish glasses throughout the night. After he finishes the bar and quickly wipes down the tables and sweeps the floor, luckily he doesn't need to mop. He takes out the trash before sticking his head in Yok’s office.

“Hey, I’m done closing up front. Do you need me to do anything in the back before I head out?”

Yok thinks for a moment and shakes her head. She stands up and begins to walk up front and stops.

“Porsche, there is still someone here!”

Porsche is confused for a moment then realizes that she is talking about Kinn.

“He’s just waiting for me.”

Yok gives him a knowing look.

“Not for that. We’re just going out after I’m done.”

“Like a date?”

“Not necessarily.”

Yok snorts and gives Kinn a look over. Porsche knows that she is trying to figure out Kinn’s intentions, she’s always been a little protective over him. After a minute she gives an approving nod.

“He’s handsome.”

“I guess so.”

“You know, he kind of looks like that one friend of yours. What’s his name? The one who is dating Chay?”

“Kim? You think that they look similar? I don’t see it at all.”

“Well, I think you’re wrong but I’m not going to keep you here to argue. Go enjoy your date.”

Porsche doesn’t bother correcting her. He grabs his phone and wallet from the little cubby behind the bar and walks over to Kinn.

“Are you ready to go?”

Kinn nods and they walk out of the bar together.

“Well, where to?”

Kinn stops and Porsche looks at him expectantly. It quickly becomes clear that Kinn has no plan.

“You seriously don’t have anything planned?”

“I honestly didn’t think this far ahead. Maybe we could go to a restaurant?”

“It’s 11:30 on a Thursday night, any place that is still open will hate us for coming in.”

“Then what do you suggest we do?”

Porsche thinks for a minute before speaking.

“There is a night market a few blocks that way. It may not be what you had in mind but they have food and I haven’t eaten since 10 this morning.”

“Why not? Do you not normally eat lunch or dinner?”

“I've been bartering since I was eighteen years old. The words "normal eating schedule” don't exist to me.”

Kinn lets out a huff.

“Okay, we go to the night market and get something to eat. Then what?”

Porsche grins.

“We'll just have to see where it goes from there.”

Porsche quietly closes the front door behind him. He doesn’t exactly know why he is sneaking into his own house, especially since he knows that Chay isn't home and in class. He really hadn't meant to spend the whole night out. He had meant to maybe spend an hour or two with Kinn at the night market and then go home. Turns out, he enjoyed spending time with Kinn far more than he thought he would. Porsche quickly lost track of time and was shocked when he realized how many hours had passed.

He also REALLY hadn't meant to fall into bed with Kinn again. But one thing led to another and the two of them ended up in a hotel room. Porsche ended up falling asleep and had jumped out of bed in a panic when he realized that it was morning. He had quickly and quietly put on his clothing and left the hotel before Kinn was fully awake.

He sighs and turns away from the door. And he jumps when he sees Kim sitting in the living room, looking at him.

“Holy shit! Kim, what the fuck is wrong with you? You scared the hell out of me. What are you doing here anyway?”

“What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? Do you have any idea how worried Chay was last night?! You're not home far later than you would normally be. You don't call, you don't pick up Chay's calls. He barely slept and the only reason he isn't here is because I said that I would wait for you here for him.”

“My phone died.”

Kim glares at him and Porsche walks over to the kitchen and plugs in his phone. As soon as it has enough charge he is met with dozens of notifications, missed calls from both Chay and Kim, text messages that get increasingly worried. He combs through the messages before texting Chay that he's home and apologizing for worrying him. He then turns to Kim who is looking at him expectantly.

“Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you two.”

“I'm not mad, well I'm mad that Chay was upset. But we were worried. So where the hell were you?”

Porsche goes to answer when he hears his phone ping. He picks it up thinking that it's Chay.

‘I feel like I should be offended that you ran out without saying goodbye this morning.’

Porsche rolls his eyes, somewhat regretting giving Kinn his number. Then another text comes in.

‘I'd like to see you again.’

Porsche fights a smile and looks up from his phone. Kim is raising a brow at him and he realizes that Kim saw the texts. Then Kim grins.

“Well that explains where you were.”

Before Porsche can retort, Kim's phone starts ringing, Kim's nickname for Chay flashing on the screen.

“Hey, Angel…. Yeah your brother is here….. He's fine, he just fell asleep after being whore. You can interrogate him yourself later if you want to.”

Porsche flips Kim off.

“And now he is flipping me off…. Yes… no, I have a meeting this afternoon, remember…. Don't sulk, the meeting is right next to that little bakery you like. I'll pick up something for you….. I'll see you tonight. Love you.”

Kim hangs up and puts his phone away. He then looks back at Porsche.

“So, since when did you start sleeping over with your hook-ups? Or giving them your number now that I think about it?”

“It wasn't a hook-up. At least it wasn't supposed to be. I didn’t intend to sleep with him again.”

“Again? Wait, is this the same guy from a couple weeks ago?”

Porsche doesn’t say anything, which is all the answer that Kim needs.

“Good for you. So, you went on a date then?”

“No, not…. I don’t know. I’m confused.”

“Why?”

Porsche looks at him, confused.

“What?”

“Why are you confused, it’s clear that you like this guy, or at least you’re attracted to him.”

Porsche lets out a deep sigh.

“I……. I don’t date, I don’t even think I know how to. The last time I ‘dated’ was my girlfriend I was seeing for like three months when I was fifteen.”

“But you want to date him.”

Porsche remains silent and Kim sighs.

“Let me rephrase the question. Do you want to see this guy again?”

“....... Yes.”

“Well there you go. You’re making this way more complicated than it has to be. Go spend time with the guy, go on dates. If it leads to an actual relationship, great, if not at least you had some fun.”

“You make it sound so easy.”

“At this point, it really is.”

“And later on?”

“It’s way too early to be worrying about that.”

Porsche huffs out a laugh. He guesses that Kim has a point.

“Thanks, Kim, I was very much overthinking.”

“Eh, that’s what best friends are for.”

Then Kim gives him a shit eating grin.

“Sooo, What’s his name? What does he look like?”

“Absolutely not. If I tell you anything then you will go full crazy stalker mode and find every detail about his life.”

“Hey, I only did that one time and I think that I was justified because Nin’s boyfriend was on pretty much every list that exists.”

Porsche hums, that’s fair.

“Still, no.”

“Fine. But let him know that if he fucks up he has to deal with me.”

Porsche lets out a short laugh.

“You know that I’m older than you, right.”

Porsche starts seeing Kinn regularly and after four months he could confidently say that they were together, although they haven’t put an exact label on it. They go on dates- dinners, picnics, late night coffee shops. Kinn visits Porsche at work on the slower nights and Porsche occasionally visits Kinn at work during his lunch breaks. Kinn buys Porsche stupid expensive
gifts that Porsche complains about but is also really touched by.

The most recent gift is a very nice watch that Porsche doesn’t even want to know the price of. He is currently sitting at the kitchen counter staring at the watch, debating if it is really okay to actually wear it. Chay walks into the kitchen and lets out a low whistle.

“Damn that’s a nice watch. Do I even want to ask how much that is worth.”

“Probably enough to pay off the rest of the house mortgage. I keep telling him to not get me such expensive things but he never listens to me.”

“Well obviously mr. boyfriend’s love language is gift giving.”

Porsche gives Chay a questioning look.

“Mr. boyfriend?”

“What else am I supposed to call him? You still haven’t told me his name despite the fact that you have been seeing each other for months.”

Porsche hadn’t realized it until now but had never actually referred to Kinn by his actual name.

“Kinn. His name is Kinn.”

Chay nods but Porsche notices that he has an odd expression on his face, like he just realized something.

“Why do you have that look on your face?”

“No reason. So, when do I get to meet Kinn? He must be pretty serious about you if he is willing to drop this kind of money on you.”

“You say that like Kim didn’t give you ridiculously expensive gifts when you started dating.”

“Kim was very serious about me so my point still stands. So, can we plan a meeting?”

Porsche thinks for a minute before nodding.

“I’ll talk to Kinn and see what we can set up.”

Chay’s face suddenly lights up.

“I have an idea. There is going to be this big carnival in town in two weeks. Kim and I already have plans to go but you should ask Kinn to come and we can make it a double date!”

Porsche contemplates it. It’s not a bad idea and would probably be less awkward than meeting at a restaurant or something similar.

“I like the idea, but let me talk with Kinn first.”

Kinn does agree to the double date although he is quite nervous to meet Chay. This Porsche finds ridiculous because Chay is one of the kindest and accepting people to ever exist. He should really be nervous about meeting Kim, But Porsche doesn’t tell him that. The day of the double date Kinn had a last minute emergency meeting so they would be showing up later than planned. Which honestly worked out because there was a music performance that Chay really wanted to see earlier on during the day that Porsche was not interested in going to.

So they agree to meet up later around the arcade games. Kinn had picked up Porsche after his meeting. He was still dressed up although he had apparently changed into casual clothes after his meeting. At this point Porsche is thinking that he probably doesn’t own actual casual clothes outside of his gym wear, even his sleep wear was fancy. Although he does think that this also has to do with Kinn wanting to make a good first impression.

They finally are able to find parking and start walking into the carnival.

“Okay, Chay says that they are waiting for us at a picnic table that is between a dart throwing
game with giant cat plushies for prizes and a vendor selling frozen desserts.”

Porsche turns to Kinn and sees a frown on his face.

“Hey, what’s wrong?”

“I… It’s stupid. I just really hope that your brother likes me.”

Porsche smiles and steps closer to Kinn.

“You’re right, that is stupid.”

Kinn looks offended but Porsche speaks up before he can say anything.

“Trust me, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Chay is one of those optimistic people
who somehow finds a way to like everyone”

“But-”

“Besides, he won’t have a choice but to like you when he sees how happy you make me.”

Kinn stares open-mouthed for a moment before smiling. He leans forward and lightly kisses Porsche.

“Okay.”

Porsche quickly gives Kinn another kiss before grabbing his hand and starts pulling him into the carnival. The event is a lot bigger than they thought and they end up getting lost a few times. Porsche is about to call Chay when he spots the giant cat plushies that Chay mentioned. He just knows that Chay had Kim win one of them for him and his suspicions are confirmed when he spots the pair.

“I see them over there. Chay! Kim!”

Porsche feels a sudden tug on his arm and turns to see Kinn stopped in his tracks, his eyes wide with shock. He is about to ask Kinn what’s wrong when he hears shouting from behind him.

“Oh hell no!!!!”

Porsche turns around to look at Kim who has a look of horror and a little bit of disgust on his face. No one says anything for a minute. Kinn is the first to recover and clears his throat.

“Kim, I didn’t expect to see you here. I had no idea that you were in a relationship.”

“I have been for about two years. You would know that if you ever paid attention.”

“Kind of hard to do that when I never see you.”

Porsche looks back and forth between the two while they bicker before finally speaking up.

“Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on! How do you two know each other?
Oh god! Please do not tell me you two used to date!”

Both Kim and Kinn look sick by that suggestion.

“Please do not suggest that ever again. No, actually it’s worse. Kinn is my older brother.”

Porsche is shocked and feels slightly stupid. He had thought that Kinns last name sounded familiar but he couldn’t figure out why. Though to be fair Kim very rarely used his last name and Porsche had never seen it written down. But now looking at the two of them the resemblance is uncanny. Porsche hears snickering and looks over to Chay who is trying and failing to hold back a grin. Then it dawns on him.

“Chay you little shit! You knew!”

“Well no, but I suspected. I knew that Kim had an older brother named Kinn but I didn’t say anything in case it was a coincidence.”

Chay stands up from where he was sitting on the table.

“Now, let's stop standing around looking like a bunch of fish. This is supposed to be a double date. Look at the bright side, this helps avoid a lot of the awkward whole getting to know each other part. ”

Chay grabs his cat plushie and Kim's hand and drags him aways. Porsche and Kinn take a minute before following them. They go around the carnival playing games and eating vendor food. Chay drags Kinn away to get in line for some cotton candy, claiming he wanted to spend time with his future brother-in-law. This left Porsche and Kim behind to hold their stuff, mostly prizes that Kim had won for Chay.

“I still can’t get over that you are fucking my brother.”

“Oh, so it’s okay for you to do it but not me. How hypocritical.”

Kim chuckles.

“Fair.”

Chay runs up to the two, cotton candy in hand.

“Hia, they have that game you love and there is no line. Let’s go!”

The two run off, Kim watching them fondly. Kinn walks up to him, following his gaze and smiles.

“I thought that Porsche had a lot of energy but Chay is on another level.”

“Just wait for the sugar to kick in, he’ll be practically vibrating.”

Kinn laughs and smiles at the way that Kim is watching Chay.

“You seem pretty serious about Chay.”

“He’s the love of my life, he’s it for me.”

Kinn is slightly taken aback by his usually emotionally dead brother so openly declaring his love.
But he is happy for his brother.

“And what about Porsche, are you serious about him? No offense but you haven’t had a serious relationship since..”

Kim doesn’t need to finish his sentence for Kinn to understand what he is talking about.

“I know that I don’t have the best track record but I know this time is different. With Porsche, it is different. I don’t feel like I constantly have to prove myself or that I have to constantly have to have this perfect mask on the entire time. We’ve only been together for a short period of time but I don’t want to imagine my life without him. He makes me happy.”

Kim stays silent for a while before huffing.

“He was going to already be my brother-in-law anyway.”

Kinn grins but quickly stops when he sees the dark look on Kim’s face.

“But know this. Brother or not, you fuck this up and I’ll chop you up and feed you to Khun’s carp.”
