Total Drama Island. An incredibly dangerous show. Some contestants should probably crush on eachother since they've been here for a long time right? That happened to Cody.
Cody had been admiring Noah for quite some time. They talked, the accident they refused to talk about for half a week, and so much more. Cody had started to have a crush on Noah. He thought about it for too many times.
Noah gave some obvious hints that "they're just friends" but it seemed to everyone that they had an affair with eachother. In which, they quickly denied.
One day, they decided to meet at the dock. A little late, but that's what their talking sessions would start anyway. Noah didn't mind since he was an insomniac, Cody was too.
"Cody, what could you possibly want now?"
Noah cleared his throat, looking at the nervous Cody.
"I wanted to talk about something!"
Cody responded quickly, before looking back at Noah. He was sure that Noah wouldn't talk to him after this. Hopefully not..?
"Well, it better be good."
Noah crossed his arms and lowered his gaze to the sea below them. Cody chuckled nervously, he didn't even know why he chuckled.
"Well.. I've gained feelings for you."
'Is this guy serious?'
Cody looked down to his fidgeting hands and his palms. Noah waited for a continuation, just wondering if he was serious.
"And.. I was wondering if you.. Uh.. Like me too?"
Noah froze for a moment before sighing.
"Listen. I don't really like you."
Cody knew it would happen. Just.. Not in that wording. He stopped fidgeting and looked up to Noah who's gaze looked.. Uncomfortable.
"I don't really want relationships or such. But if you want a more specific answer, I hate romance."
Noah's gaze looked a bit calm now from what Cody could understand, and Noah now looked at him in the eye.
"I don't like you, that's it. In fact, I never thought you would even.. Like me. Can I go?"
Cody hesitantly nodded. Noah's steps then started, walking away from Cody. He sighs in dissapointment, he thought that Noah would.. Like him too. But, he expected it. Confessions from Cody never go great anyway.
He walked to his cabin tiredly, thinking what just happened. As he laid down on his bed, he couldn't stop thinking what happened. Couldn't even sleep.

Next morning. Cody woke up unexpectedly early with everyone else! He walked out quietly, but he overhears Noah talking to someone. Though Cody was tired, he couldn't see who he was talking to.
"I'd rather see his face than.. Cody's."
Oh. That seems surprising! But at the same time he wasn't even bothered by it. He knew that Noah would probably hate him.
"Honestly, it was kind of awkward now that I think of it,
Noah paused for a moment, sighing. Cody wondered what the brunette would probably say. Would he say something so unexpected that Cody would faint? Probably not. But the what he said was suprising enough.
Can't help but hate him for that."
"Now why would you hate him?"
"It's awkward now. I'm afraid to talk to him about it."
"So.. You rejected him?"
".. Yeah."
Cody doesn't cry over words. But this time he did.
Noah heard Cody. But he chose to ignore it, he can't bare to see his face after some awkward confession. He thinks they could talk it out but.. He isn't sure.
