"Allen !! Where the fuck did you put Hikari’s present !?"
Today was a special day, where Sugasano Kanata was insulting his husband with all the names he thought about before their beloved arrived home with Anne. They both agreed that when the little girl was here, they won’t swear as much as normally… Well, when they say « they », they actually mean Kanata.
Not long after BAE’s win at Road to Legend, Allen proposed to Kanata who punched the redhead on the face with quite the force because he actually proposed in front of everyone and it was more of an automatic answer than a no.
A morning, Kanata started feeling sick and Allen rushed to his husband and got him to the emergency. They actually discovered at this moment that Kanata possessed an organ that can be fertilised.
In other words, Kanata was pregnant and there were all the symptoms that could explain it. As much as he wanted the baby, Kanata was scared to not be a good father after everything he went through.
"You know… I am afraid too. I have a father but he was not the best and… Screw this, he was restraining the me I wanted to be. A part of me died inside. But Kanata… We are together. You have the choice to not give birth… Or we can try to raise this baby together. I might not be ready for it, but if we ever have this child… I want to treasure them and I want them to have the childhood I never could have."
With those words, Kanata thought seriously about it and they finally decided to keep the baby. Everyone was quite happy for them, Nayuta especially took care of his brother because "You were always the one taking care of me, now it’s my turn to take care of you !". Shiki would follow behind, accompanying Nayuta to visit them and think about the future.
Hajun on his side, would help prepare the room with the highest security. Kanata never thought that they would have a child this soon, even less coming from his own body… But he couldn’t be any happier.
It was a giant mess before the child was born, everyone even Hajun tried to take the best care of him (in his own way) and when he would feel morning sickness, Allen would immediately stay by his sides trying to soothe his pain. It was being more and more difficult as the time passed but when the day finally arrived, Kanata couldn’t hold his tears any longer and just hugged his beloved child in his arms. He was afraid the baby wouldn’t be able to be born healthy but his fears totally disappeared after they announce her wellness.
From this moment, Allen and Kanata vowed to protect their daughter’s smile and happiness with the help of those around them. Both parents weren’t ready to raise a girl, so Anne and Saimon helped them with the clothes and room decoration. Living with a baby was chaotic and they know what it feels to pull all nighters… But with a child it’s different.
And here we are, 5 years later… It’s Hikari’s birthday and they are preparing a surprise party while she was in The kindergarten. Anne went to pick her up and gain some time shopping to the mall. To celebrate the little girl’s birthday, Allen invited both The Cat’s Whikers and Akan Yatsura. Hikari really loved playing with the AKYR boys. Well, they did went through a lot all together… And they were as bonded as ever. So of course he would invite them.
"I swear I put it in the in the kitchen’s cave !"
"And you lost it!?"
"I didn’t lose it! It disappeared…" the older whined.
"DISAPPEAR MY ASS!!"
"извини!" Allen cried.
"Allen, where shall we put the chocolate fondue ?" Reo asked.
Trying hard to escape his husband’s death glare, Allen approached Reo and Satsuki to guide them and put the chocolate fondue on one of the tables.
When the red haired looked all around, everyone helping for the party, his smile widen and he started fake crying.
"Boohoo… My little baby is growing up so fast…"
"Shouldn’t you look for the present ?" A certain blonde hair whispered in Allen’s ear. "Your little rat husband looks like he’s going to kill you anytime at this rate. Not that I care but Hikari would be really sad."
"Well… I got a beautiful husband… An incredible daughter, the best friends I could ever have and this house… I could die happily ?"
"What did you say?"
As soon as Kanata got in the conversation, Allen ran to the kitchen’s cave and try to find the birthday present. The blonde hair snorted and started putting his present on the corner to hide with the other present, behind the couch.
His twin approached him with Shiki’s hand in his and directed his gaze to Allen’s direction.
"What did I do to have such a stupid partner…" Kanata sighed and took a seat on the bar counter.
"Well, at least he’s not a bad guy. I still remember how he literally proposed to you in front of everyone. You were sooooo embarrassed you had to hit the poor man." Nayuta remind him with a smirk of his.
"And I would redo it without hesitation. Don’t mention this shit, and I was not embarrassed !" Kanata attacked his brother with a kick on his leg, who dodged it.
"M-maybe that shows how perfectly your chemistry works…" Shiki added shyly behind Nayuta so the older twin’s glare wouldn’t kill him instantly.
"Come on, you still accepted his lame proposal and had a child together, love is just blind ~" Nayuta looked at Shiki then back at Kanata with a smirk. "Do you think I can also give birth, brother~?"
"N-Nayuta!!" Shiki shrieked with a red face and try to hide it with his hands.
"Nayuta for fuck’s sake we already talked about it and I would answer the same thing : fuck you." Kanata growled at his brother because who wants to know about their intimate time with their lover… And if he could give birth too? Please go find the answer yourself…
They talked together about several subjects, one of them being Hikari’s personality and preference. She’s still 4, and today will take 5 but they already know that she will be quite the person when she will grow up… In the kindergarten, several boys fell for her and the parents had to do their best to not crush them. And the girls were not that bad with her, on the contrary, they follow and would do anything Hikari would ask them.
He suddenly hears a ping coming from his phone and looked at it. He sat up after seeing that it was a message from Anne, telling them that they would arrive soon.
"Oh shit oh shit oh shit ! ALLEN DID YOU FIND IT !?" He ran to the older idiot to either get the present if he finds it, or strangle his partner if he didn’t.
Nayuta and Shiki laughed slightly and went back to help the others. The place was done, and only details were to be looked through but everything was in place.

"And then and then! Meri give me flower !"
"No way!! Meri?? Wasn’t she jealous of you ?? And now she gives flower ??"
"да! And even that it is a big one!"
Anne was on their way from the store to go home as planned with the lil girl in their arms. She would talk about how her day went, and what happened. From what they understood, Reki and Fuan Yi, two boys in her class, started fighting because they both wanted to play with Hikari but they didn’t want to play with each other ; Kiana drew with Hikari ; Taiga offered a lollipop for Hikari’s birthday ; Marc put a flower in her hair and everyone sang happy birthday with the teacher.
"Who do you prefer Hikari-chan ?? Meri ? Reki ? Taiga ?"
The girl looked down and thought a bit before saying "Taiga ! He is cool and he gives me lollipop! Taiga is kind !" And before Anne would pity their friend because he will have to be careful with «Taiga», she added "But Hikari likes Uncle Hajun !". Now That had them thinking of Allen fighting Hajun for his daughter’s sake. "ANYONE BUT HIM!!" His scream keeps repeating in their head. They laughed sheepishly and saw that Hikari was looking at something in her bag.
"Mhm ? What is this Hikari-chan ?"
"I take this, but it’s not Hikari lunch box…"
Anne took a look at what was in her hands. "Ara ara…" Their phone rang and they answered once they saw the name of their friend. "Allen ? … Heh ? Ooooh… I see I see… Sure. Just asking, do you…" They thought hardly and looked at Hikari’s big eyes. She smiled "Haaah Nothing, Nevermind ! I’ll take her to the candy store. Mhm ! See ya in a bit !"
"Dada! It was dada right??" Hikari asked excited to see her father again after a long day. "I want to see papa and dada !" Anne melted in front of her sparkling eyes.
"With pleasure my little princess ! Let’s go home ~" Weak to these eyes, Anne sent a message to Allen apologising saying that they will head home instead of the candy store.

"How could you lose the gift… We have other presents for her, but this one was what she wanted the most…"
Kanata was defeated and started depressing on the bar counter. He was heartbroken to push away one year later for that special gift. If they had a bit more time maybe they could have find it, or even find something else to compensate the loss of the gift, but after Anne’s message, he was devastated. He felt betrayed by them and Allen wasn’t helping to lift up his mood at all. He let out a loud sighed so he can smile for his daughter when she will arrive, and not see the sad face of her papa.
"Kanata… I am sorry… I swear it was in the cave yesterday night, I even put a candy next to it because I got it from the store when I picked up the present…" Allen hugged his husband by behind and kissed his hair. Kanata pushed him away and just let out another loud sigh before thinking about Allen’s words.
"Wait, you put a candy next to it ?"
But before he could try to face his husband for slipping out this information too late, a knock was heard from the door. Everyone went to their designed place with party poppers in their hand after hearing Anne announcing their presence, they count from one to three and when they saw the door opening, popped the items.
"Happy Birthday Hikari-chan !!"
Hikari jumped by surprised and let out a happy scream. Anne put her down, still Hikari’s bag on their shoulder, so she went to hug her friends.
"UNCLE IORI ! UNCLE SAIMON !! Everyone is here ! IT’S FOR HIKARI ?? JUST FOR HIKARI ???" The girl beamed with so much joy she couldn’t restrain her happiness. She ran to hug her father who prepared his arms to welcome her back and he kissed her hair.
"Happy birthday sweetie, welcome back ~" Kanata said to her, a smile automatically taking place on his face. "Did you have fun today ?"
The girl kissed her father back and everyone listened to the child talking about her day.
Anne went to Allen, who was as happy as Kanata to see his daughter back but still sad for the present. They tapped on his shoulder to get his attention.
"Allen, is everything alright ?"
"Well… We… I mean, I lost one of Hikari’s birthday presents… And Kanata won’t forgive me for that…" Allen told them with a sad tone. Anne looked into Hikari’s bag and picked a red box.
"Just asking, but is it this ?" Anne asked with hope.
Allen let out a scream as soon as he saw the box and took it to hide behind him. Everyone’s gaze turned to his direction but he excused himself and took Anne’s wrist so they could talk privately without Hikari seeing.
"ебать! Anne where did you get it ??"
"Your daughter explained to me that Kanata asked her to get her bag of candy and her lunchbox in your kitchen’s cave. It was so she could eat some and maybe share with her friends I think, but then she mistook the box for her lunch box…"
Allen didn’t think twice, he thought the lunch box was empty and didn’t think about it at all.
"But then-"
"She told me that since she took the wrong box she didn’t open it, but seeing that she didn’t have lunch, her teachers and friends were kind enough to share their meal. You should be more careful…"
The red hair hugged his friend tightly, sobbing hard. Anne Pat his head. "Anneeeeeeeeeee!"
"Must be hard to be a parent !"
"Yeh…"
"Uncle Hajun, is Hikari pretty ??"
As soon as he heard this sentence, Allen pushed Anne away (gently) and went back to the lobby to hug his daughter tightly.
"NO DADA WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO GO OUT WITH HAJUN!! HE IS EVIL!! SHOO SHOO HAJUN!"
"HIYAAAA DADA TOO TIGHT!!" the little girl struggled while the others laughed, and when hearing his husband laughing too, he smiled and loosen his arms slightly to smooch Hikari’s cheek with a big kiss.
Anne watched them amused and sighed fondly. "Must be hard to be a parent…"
They all went around the table while the special guest took her seat in front of her cake. Allen lit up the candles and they started signing Happy Birthday. Some recorded the moment, others clapped their hands while singing, Kanata was just behind her with his hands on her shoulders. When the song finished, Hikari hide her eyes with her hands and blowed the candles while making a wish.
"What did you wish for my dear ?" Kanata asked with curiosity.
"Secret! Papa and Dada, not know!" she giggled and lift her arms so Kanata could take her in his arms. Kanata lower her arms, "Don’t you wanna open your presents ?"
Beaming with happiness, she nodded her head really fast and everyone helped taking the presents so she could open them. Hokusai started cutting the cake, while Iori and Zen poured drinks in glasses. Yohei took his car keys to fetch their present for the birthday girl, Saimon helped getting all the other presents hidden behind the couch with Reo, Satsuki and Shiki. Hajun and Nayuta were fighting about which of their present Hikari will like the most, and Anne tied Hikari’s hair so it wouldn’t bother her too much. Allen tried getting Kanata’s attention by waving his arms, which was successful since he gave his best glare to the red hair. But his face turns quickly into one of disbelief when he saw the red box in his husband’s hand, so he ran to him.
"You have three seconds to explain where you found it." He whispered menacingly.
Allen explained everything with short words and once he knew the truth, Kanata put his head in his hands. Allen caressed his back while smiling.
"At least she didn’t open it yet… Lucky she’s such a polite child…"
"One thing is sure. She’s naive enough to not know it’s for her birthday. As naive as her father."
"Hey you’re also her father !"
They bickered and finally laughed, relief taking place instead of sadness. Allen kissed Kanata lovingly on his lips. They finally rejoined the others who were faking their surprise on what she got for her birthday ; a toy car to drive in the house or outside ; some clothes of the finest material from the best tailors ; very cute flowery hair pins ; lots of plushies of different animals the AKYR boys got for the child and some other stuffs.
"Hikari is happy! All presents for Hikari !" The girl smiles proudly looking at her presents.
"You’re rich! I am so jealous she got a Tesla!" Satsuki played with the girl. "I am stealing it!"
"No! Stealing bad brother Satsuki!" Hikari tried to protect her present so Satsuki won’t steal any.
"Hikari, come here моя принцесса !" Allen called.
"But… My presents…"
"I will look after your precious treasure while you talk with your parents, is it okay for you my princesse ?" Hajun told her with his beautiful Prince like smile. The girl got shy and nodded, blushing really hard. It got all the power of the world for Allen to not sue Hajun for deceiving his girl. Hikari then went to her father, who crounched down to be at her eye-level.
"Hikari, today you took a box."
The red hair junior looked down and put her hands behind her back.
"Hikari is sorry… It was not my intention…"
The older red hair hugged his child in his arms and kissed her head. "No Моя леди, it’s not your fault. Dada knows, you mistook it for your lunchbox."
"This box is a present for your birthday. Please, open it ?" Kanata joined and handed her the box.
Her eyes sparkled a little. "For Hikari ?? Again ?" She took it in her hands and opened it. She gently took the accessory in her hands and opened her eyes widely. "Woaaaaaaaaaah… ! It’s… !"
It was a pendant. Once, Hikari told them that one day she would like to have a necklace with both her parents illusion in it. Close to it, the pendant represented a Phoenix embraced by a snake.
"It’s Dada and papa… ! It’s for Hikari ? It is really for Hikari ??" Her eyes were shining like a whole galaxy was inside them. She hugged her fathers tightly and asked them to put it around her neck. Happy with her last present, she kissed both their cheeks thanking them for the best birthday ever, and in return they both kissed her cheeks.
"Моя леди, happy birthday !"
It was an unforgettable day for Hikari and her parents, but little did they know that a car was observing the party through the window…
