Dear Sirius,
I can't believe you're at Hogwarts! I bet it's so awesome. Your so lucky you get to be there. I wish I could be there with you. Mother said I shouldn't write you a letter because it's only the first day. Father says I shouldn't write you a letter because you don't like me and you'd just find it annoying and that I shouldn't bother with you.
I bet you have so many friends right now. I bet everybody's your friend. Do you think they'd be my friend? Do you think they'd like me? I wish I was there.
How is it? Have you been to any classes? Do you have friends in your classes? Did you mention me? You better mention me. You also better write me back. I think I'd be very mad if you didn't. And sad.
Mother and father expect me to do more now that your gone. I bet it'll be fine but I wish you were here. Do you think they'll hurt me? I hope not. I wouldn't like that. Why would someone like that? I don't think anyone likes getting hurt. I definitely don't. I wish you were here. I bet they wouldn't hurt me if you were here. You'd protect me from them. Right?
I hope so. I can't wait till I go to Hogwarts. Your in slytherin, right? Of course you are. Everyone is. You get a common room near the lake! Your so lucky. I love lakes. I wish I could be just the common room. I'd spend all my time there just to be near the lake. I'd die in a lake if I had the choice.
Sorry, that got dark. Mother says I shouldn't go around saying things like that. She says that nobody will like me if I say that. Father says nobody likes me already, so it's not going to matter if I say those things. You like me, right Sirius? Your my brother.
I wish you were here!! Write me back soon! I want to hear all about Hogwarts. And come home for Christmas break too! I can't wait to see you again.
