Summary
Isn’t it poetic that Dream will die of Hanahaki Disease of all things? He's always been one for metaphors, daydreams, poetry… It is the most fitting death for a soul like his. And yet, it does not feel fair.
The first time the tattoo artist called Dream spoke to the flower shop owner called Robert 'Hob' Gadling, he only had insults and threats for the man with a warm smile. Now that Dream's heart beats for Gadling, Hob won't even look at him without a glare. Their only interactions are filled with insults and screaming, and even though Dream has made an effort to change, Hob hates him with passion. There is no chance Hob will ever reciprocate his feelings, and so all Dream can do is enjoy the remaining months of his life and, ironically, finally live his life to the fullest.
