The scent of roses and chocolate filled the air of Hogwarts. Students walked through the corridors with floating hearts and balloons, exchanging gifts and sweet words on this magical Valentine's Day. Ginny Weasley, with a mischievous smile on her lips, walked towards the Great Hall, excited about the surprise that awaited her.
Suddenly, a bouquet of red flowers, as passionate as love, reached her hands. A student walked into the Hall giving it to Ginny, Ginny asked who sent it and the student, with a knowing wink, walked away without revealing the identity of the mysterious admirer. Ginny's heart beat fast. There was only one possible candidate: Harry Potter, her childhood friend and crush.
With the flowers in her hands, Ginny entered the Great Hall, looking for Harry among the crowd. Her eyes fell on the Gryffindor table, where Harry and Draco Malfoy, to her surprise, were exchanging gifts with obvious affection. A chill of disappointment ran through her body.
Disoriented, Ginny walked through the hall looking for an answer. In the distance, she saw Ron Weasley and Luna Lovegood hugging in a corner, Ron gave some flowers to the blonde girl and Luna gave a box of chocolates and a sweater for Quidditch and then sharing a tender kiss between them. A pang of sadness filled her, apparently everyone have their Valentine's love except for her.
Without losing hope, Ginny headed to the library, where she used to find refuge and comfort. There, Hermione Granger, with a shy smile, waited for her.
"Ginny, do you like flowers?" Hermione asked, with a slight blush on her cheeks.
Ginny, not hiding her disappointment, showed her the bouquet and told her about her confusion with Harry and Draco. Upon hearing her, Hermione filled with courage and decided to confess a secret she had kept in her heart for a long time.
"Ginny, I... I sent you those flowers," Hermione said, her voice trembling. "I love you. Since I met you, I have felt an inexplicable attraction to you. You are brave, funny, intelligent... and you make me feel things I have never felt before."
Ginny's eyes widened in surprise. The idea that Hermione, her best friend, loved her in that way, had never crossed her mind. However, looking into her eyes, Ginny could not deny that she also felt something special for Hermione, the redhead was in love secretly with Hermione too but she never realized that Hermione has feelings for her too.
"Hermione...", Ginny began, with a lump in her throat. "I... I also feel something for you. For a long time, I have admired your intelligence, your kindness and your strength. You are the best friend a girl could ask for."
An expectant silence took over the library. The tension was palpable. Suddenly, Ginny leaned over and kissed Hermione on the lips. A soft kiss, full of tenderness and surprise.
Hermione gasped, her eyes shining with a mixture of joy and amazement. She reciprocated the kiss with passion, letting her feelings flow freely.
When they parted, they both smiled, with a radiant blush on their faces. A new chapter in their lives had opened, a chapter full of love, complicity and new emotions.
Holding hands, Ginny and Hermione left the library, ready to enjoy the rest of Valentine's Day together.
They walked through the corridors of the castle, now decorated with hearts and garlands, under the watchful eyes of the students who whispered and whispered as they saw them pass.
After the day, the two girls went to the Great Hall for the dinner, Ginny surprisingly sat on Hermione's lap surprising everyone of their friends, Harry and Ron put a face of surprise meanwhile Luna smiled mischievously
"Hello everyone!" Ginny exclaimed with a voice full of joy. "We have something to tell you..."
Hermione, with blushing cheeks, took Ginny's hand and looked at her tenderly. "We're dating," she said in a firm and confident voice.
A murmur of surprise swept through the table. Harry, still unable to believe what he was seeing, could only stammer: "But... Ginny and Hermione? Seriously? Why didn't you told us nothing?"
Hermione talked "We started our relationship a few hours ago, we talked about our feelings and we decided to explore a relationship"
Ron, with a look of confusion and a touch of sadness, asked: "What about Harry, Ginny?"
Ginny gave her friend a sympathetic look. "Harry and I are just friends, Ron. We always have been. And now I've found love in Hermione and Harry found love in Malfoy, as you found it with Luna."
"She is right, love has no labels, Ronnie. Sometimes it comes in the most unexpected ways, like in this case, isn't right?" responded Luna who took Ron's cheek making the boy blush and kissing Luna's cheek making the blonde girl smile
Harry, assimilating the news, got up from his seat and approached the girls. "Congratulations, girls," he said with a sincere smile. "I'm really happy for you."
Ron, following Harry's example, also got up and congratulated them. "I hope you are happy," he said.
After the dinner everyone went to their rooms, and the two girls went to Ginny's room, Ginny surprisingly gave a slap on Hermione's arse making the girl scream of surprise
"Ups, my mistake" said Ginny smiling but then Hermione approached to the redhead "That's not the way to treat your girlfriend, Gin"
"And how's the way?" Asked with an ironically voice
"This" and the Hermione started to kiss Ginny, in a point Ginny jumped and tangled her legs over Hermione's hip, the major girl walked with Ginny to the bed , Ginny was grateful to have a lone room for her, Hermione put Ginny on the bed meanwhile Ginny's legs still tangled on Hermione's hip, Hermione stopped the kisses temporary and said "I will make you scream my name now"
Ginny smiled and she only said "Make me yours please", then Hermione started to kiss and lick Ginny's neck meanwhile she was putting her hands under Ginny's shirt, the two were secure that the next morning they would have marks on their bodies.
8 years later
"And that's the history about how I and mommy started our love years before we had you" Hermione said grabbing Ginny's hand, the little Athena applauded and smiled, "Tell me other story, please".
