People say there is no such thing as coincidence. Every meeting and parting certainly has a purpose. All events are influenced by choices.

After a secret meeting in the Zou forest, Law and Nami decided to stay away from each other... because coincidences could be too scary. They thought this was just a simple understanding and momentary interest, but it turned out to be more. There was an indefinable comfort that made Law smile seeing the orange-haired woman. There was an abstract familiarity that made Nami feel calm next to the golden-eyed man. However, as they told some stories, the alarm in their heart sounded a sign of danger.

Their pasts are somewhat similar... with the involvement of pirates, the Navy, parental figures, and a word of love that is followed by gunfire. Several aspects of their life are the same, including the presence of Monkey D. Luffy saving them. How is it possible to meet someone who is of sufficient frequency to understand each other, while also being relatively contradictory but capable of complementing each other?

No. They couldn't. They had to stop.

He had become close with The Death. She refused to open her heart, no matter what, they were still enemies. Unnecessary feelings only add to the pain of loss.

They spread the distance. At Wano, Law and Nami try to avoid each other, but that person is always in the mind.

Even though Nami didn't go after Law who was offended by Shinobu's accusation, she was worried about the raven-haired man. When Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi came to deliver the message, her round eyes searched for their captain. Wanted to ask, but unsure.

Then, even though Law took a breath in the middle of the battle, he quickly teleported to the castle while bringing Zeus. If Big Mom went looking for the cloud, Nami would definitely be the target. However, after making sure the Straw Hat navigator could get through the problem, he didn't approach her.

The alliance officially ended after the fall of Kaido and Big Mom. Time to continue the adventure with their respective crew.

Law and Nami parted without a word, nor a wave. They chose to forget.

.... That's how it was.

When they met again, things were far beyond expectations. Law's defeat by Blackbeard caused the Heart Pirates to experience a critical point. Thankfully the members survived, although the Polar Tang was impossible to repair. Therefore, they are in one alliance again, fighting together, then party afterward.

How surprised Nami was when Tan's hand with the DEATH tattoo tapped her shoulder. Soundlessly, they get away from the crowds.

"You want to make a world map, right, Nami-ya?" As usual, Trafalgar Law didn't mince words.

"Yes, Torao-kun. What's up?" Nami responded.

"I want to travel around the world, for Cora-san, too." Law hung on the words, Nami tried to guess which direction the conversation was going. Even for Law himself, this pause was very torturous. It was hard for him to admit... that in a moment between life and death, Nami was the person Law remembered besides his crew.

"I realized something. You have nothing to do with my goal. But..." he looked at Nami as he continued, "Even though we can walk alone, I want to share and connect my fate with you, Nami."

The young navigator gasped. Pink color spreads to the chubby cheeks. Her body moved on its own to hug Law— who became embarrassed. "Yes, but Luffy will be the Pirate King," Nami chuckled, "after that happens, I want to be with you."

"Whoever gets ONE PIECE... the two of us will travel around the world later," said Law as he hugged Nami tighter.

The road ahead should have been different, but they chose to be together. Then, they continued the story that suddenly stopped at Zou.

Two people who are tired of keeping their distance choose to open up. Completely. They were still “outsider” to others. There were also no logical benefits to be gained. However, everything feels so natural. They let the story flow, shrouded in a nameless feeling.

Three years later....

"Mugiwara-ya is in the newspaper again. Oh, there's Zoro-ya too."

Hearing Law's chatter, Nami put the navigation book and immediately sat next to him. No matter how small the news about her nakama, it is valuable. Nami didn't want to miss any news.

She read the news about Luffy being seen at Amazon Lily. On another page, Zoro and Mihawk drank together at the bar. The headlines were more bombastic than the events that might have occurred.

The Pirate King Comes to the Pirate Empress' Territory, Is It Possible to Reform the Shichibukai?

The Meeting of Two Generations of the Greatest Swordsmen In The World

"Surely Luffy wants to chat with Rayleigh. Amazon Lily is the right place because Sabaody is too crowded. Zoro must have gotten lost and been found by Mihawk," Nami commented.

The entire Straw Hat crew are listed as legends, along with many other pirates from their era. After finding ONE PIECE and the achievements that accompany it, they move to a new chapter in life.

Luffy continues to live as the freest person in the world. Zoro trains Momonosuke while perfecting his swordsman way. Nami goes on an adventure to complete the world map. Usopp becomes a famous writer. Sanji returned to Baratie, and several months ago built a branch in his name.

Chopper initiated a union of doctors from various races and countries. Robin rebuilds Ohara, preserving the legacy of the remaining books with Saul. Franky remains a carpenter but also deepens technology by becoming Dr. Vegapunk's apprentice. Brook comes back as "The Soul King" superstar again. Jinbe becomes an anti-discrimination activist. Vivi is known as the queen who successfully spread the name of Alabasta throughout the world.

Everyone split up, but the Pirate King emphasized that the Straw Hats will always be the Straw Hats.

"I can imagine it, Nami," Law muttered.

The young woman nodded quickly. "That's how the media is. It's rumored that we're married. Hahaha."

Yes, Law and Nami are not married. Even though they were traveling together and sleeping in the same room, there were no rings on their ring fingers.

When the Straw Hats reached the last island, the Heart Pirates were still sailing the ocean. From the start, Law never really wanted ONE PIECE. In his heart, he admitted that Monkey D. Luffy deserved it. Then, just like the former alliance crew, the Heart Pirates split up for their own goals.

As promised, Law visited Coco, asking permission to take Nami around the world. It took almost a year to prepare transportation. Franky and Dr. Vegapunk collaborated to create their vehicle and residence—Franky named it Orange Heart. The basic shape is similar to a double-decker bus so it can travel on land, but there is a transformation mode for the lower part to make it function as a ship for water travel. They both agreed not to use any of the crew's pirate attributes, but Nami asked Law to write Corazon's name.

While living together, Law and Nami got along quite well. Sometimes they have different opinions but can resolve them without fighting. Respecting each other's privacy, because sometimes they need time alone. Coloring each other's lives with new shades.

"In two months Shachi will get married," Law informed.

"Who is the candidate? We must come. I miss North Blue," responded Nami before sighing, "Our friends have started getting married. I feel old hahaha, but you are truly old."

The first wedding they attended was Franky and Robin in Water 7 years ago—as well as a reunion of the Straw Hat crew. Law remembered Nami crying as she saw the bride and groom. "Robin's home is a tree, and Franky is a carpenter who can care for the strongest tree in the world," Nami whispered while wiping her tears.

They also visited friends who have families; Baby 5 and Sai and Gotti and Lola. In the past, they didn't hear about the wedding because they were focused on targeting Yonkou. Usopp said he would marry Kaya, but had not yet determined the date.

Law and Nami understand that marriage is not an obligation. It also seems that not all friends will get married. The most important thing is that everyone lives the fullest life.

Unable to argue the fact, Law pinched her nose. Not wanting to be outdone, the woman who's six years younger tickled Law's waist in return. Two people had a tickle fight until they rolled over on the sofa.

This is the last place in a long journey. The other day Law finished helping Nami collect data. As usual, they gave each other their own time.

Exploring the world was Corazon's promise to him that was impossible to do. Childhood memories flooded his head. An invisible heart throbbed with pain.

Several months of traveling with Corazon gave deep meaning. The man who is more optimistic that Law can survive. A figure who brings miracles even though he has to exchange his life for Law. Someone who loves the pathetic boy infinitely.

The spotted fur hat was on Law's head now. Not the hat he had worn since Punk Hazard, but an old hat that was a bit too small. The only thing he brought from the Flevance tragedy... and Corazon.

Cora-san, I have traveled the world. It turns out that the world is not even as wide as your kind heart.

It was an imaginary dialogue, yet his throat felt tight. Corazon will always be his weak point.

You're right. There is no longer any disease or place that can restrain me. I survived. I take you wherever I go. I've already revealed D's will that you said. And, the world becomes a little better place, at least around me. Thank you... for the life you saved, for the heart you prevented from completely freezing, for the dreams and goals, for everything.

Cora-san, I met a lot of people. Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi were with me when creating the Heart Pirates. Mugiwara-ya and his crew helped me get revenge. Eustass-ya is dumber than Mugiwara-ya, but fighting alongside him is quite fun. I also uh... met someone. She... Nami's smile suddenly appeared, and Law suddenly became nervous for no apparent reason.

Law's face turned red, contrasting with his white hat. He placed his right hand on his heart-tattooed chest, continuing the story in silent language. Law knew that Corazon understood.

Cora-san, I've surpassed your age... and it is getting farther and farther. Although I'm several years older now, I still can't understand how beautiful your heart is.

Magically, Corazon's figure appeared in front of him, smiled, then disappeared with the wind before Law could react. He etched that fleeting moment deep in his heart. Whether it was the real Corazon or an illusion caused by longing, Law was happy to see his savior once again.

Trafalgar D. Water Law took off his hat, clutched it to his chest, and smiled at the sky. Send greetings to my father, mother, and sister. Blessed are you all in heaven. Here, you always live in my heart

"Bell-mère, finally my maps are completed." Nami talked to the Bell-mère's photo on her desk.

A large world map was on the table. It's finished. The scale of the world map made it impossible to convey the landscape in detail, but the cartographer was satisfied. After all, she had made maps of smaller ranges; maps of countries and regions.

Nami's thoughts drifted back to childhood, when she told her adoptive mother about her dreams. Their conditions were poor, but Bell-mère believed Nami could make it happen. Now, the little girl's dream has come true.

Flashes of adventure come like film reels. The dark times. The turning point was when she met the nakamas. Every place they visited together. One by one the people she met. Treasure. Fear, but faith that everything will be okay. Her improvement until known as the Queen of Weather.

Nami wanted to go home, telling stories at the Bell-mère tomb, with Nojiko. She not only made maps, but unforgettable memories. Then, suddenly she remembered her partner.

A knock on the door distracted Nami. Who else?

"Just come in, Law."

Law came in with a box of fruit salad with extra oranges and a pack of onigiri. There was a label on the front of the box, Law must have bought it when he went out. "I thought you hadn't eaten," he snapped, then looked at the world map on the table, "The map is beautiful, Nami. Congratulations."

Running to him, Nami showed off the country map she had finished drawing several hours ago. "Thank you. This is the final piece. I will release the atlas on the reunion day with my nakama."

Carefully, Nami stored the maps in a special cupboard. Law also put food on the table for snacks. Then, the woman stretched out her arms as a sign of asking for a hug—which of course was immediately fulfilled.

"Celebrating us," Nami whispered, knowing she wasn't the only one reaching the ending at this point.

"Yes. Us." Law gently stroked Nami's wavy hair, "Anyway, is your plan true? Will you guys leave ONE PIECE like Gol D. Roger?" he continued.

"Yes, all Straw Hats agreed. The world is dynamic, Law. What if there is chaos in future generations? At least, there will be people who dream because of ONE PIECE. Dreams will move them to fight, so hope will never be extinguished. Moreover, after what occurred in our era, the ocean has become fun."

Nami let go of the hug to pull Law's hand out. They went to the roof of Orange Heart. Two tangerine bonsai decorate the back. A three-foot guardrail surrounds the roof of the vehicle. There's a big circle in the middle—when in ship mode, the mast comes out of it. On the front side, there is a yellow-orange gradient carpet because Law and Nami like stargazing.

Now, on the horizon, they can see the blue sky, the nearest settlement, flower fields, the beach, and the sea in the distance. The breeze blew the strands of hair. The round world is endless, but this place can be considered the peak of destinations.

Still holding hands, Nami turned to Law, "By the way, don't you want to know what ONE PIECE is?"

Law shook his head. He doesn't need to know. ONE PIECE's role in his life has led him to where he is today. And, Law felt that was enough.

"Hey, Nami..." Law's voice trembled a little due to the surge of emotions, "I love you."

Her vision suddenly blurred with tears, but Nami answered. "I love you, Water Law."

The love word was spoken for the first time—and maybe the last. This is the heaviest sentence because it contains sad memories... but it is also full of love, hope, and a new life from the sacrifice of their angel.

Law and Nami have manifested their dreams, thoroughly explored the mystery of existence, and made choice after choice. In the final pieces of memoir and map, two people who linked their fates officially reconcile with wounds that will never heal.

It's okay. It will be okay. They choose to be together, becoming home for each other.

Ah, tears and a kiss are both warm.
