Chapter Text
Dillon. The “bad boy” of the team, who could of expected it, then there was Ziggy, the one who for one embarrassed himself for the laughs but he’s someone who cares passionately for people, even though the cartels treated wrong.
A normal day in the garage was never a quiet place to begin with, the sound of car engines going off, the sound of the blender going off every morning and everything going off around it.
One thing stood between Dillon and feeling like a normal human. He’s a hybrid. Built with venjix technology, the thought of that made him feel weird
Everything he could of ever think of, isn’t real and won’t be real in his eyes, but someone believes he’s just a normal human, that the venjix technology isn’t real and is just a made up thing to scare him, that only person could be Ziggy.
Ziggy believed that Dillon would always be ok and that’s one thing Dillon only noticed when they talk that Ziggy always believed in him even at the roughest parts of his time knowing him.
Ziggy.. was always the one believing in him? Him?
The first thought of Ziggy, believing in him? That must be a joke, honestly that would be the last of the thoughts to come to his head, one thing he probably wouldn't believe even if he got told straight to the face about it. He wouldn’t believe you or anyone.
——
It was more of a sunny day but cold at the same time when Dillon thought it was a good idea to go out for a drive. Of course inviting Ziggy to come along with him,
He could feel something strange inside of him happening, not it wasn’t the release of the virus it was more than that, he thought he just didn’t feel well but he didn’t dint want to let Ziggy down.
Sitting in Dillon’s car, Ziggy couldn’t help look at him the most of the car journey while Dillon was rambling on about what ever pleases him, the darkness of Dillon’s hair almost suited his hair colour, a dark shade of brown.
Dillon would mumble on for ages, but Ziggy didn’t care, hearing him mumble and mutter in made him realise he was trying to be a normal human, he was trying to fit in like everyone else in Corinth.
While in reality it was something to be sad about in Dillon’s eyes, trying to fit into the normal standard of the exceptional human being. Dillons reality was trying to fit into the same community as Ziggy, Flynn, Scott and summer but he couldn’t.
The sun was about to set as they kept driving, Ziggy adores him, he wondered why he would attach himself to Dillon, just because he met him in the wasteland and he was the only one to help him doesn’t mean anything, or maybe it is because he saved him, and now listens to him like he’s going be gone in a few months.
Dillon stoped the car by a hill, where they both sat in awkwardness while the car was motionless.
“So Ziggy”
“Huh” as Ziggy was snapping our of his daydream he having acting like it didn’t happen.
Staring into each-others eyes in silence, like Ziggy wasn’t really expecting this to happen on a random night, the thought of anything ever happening with Dillon was going to be a distant 5 second thought.
Ziggy always likes Dillon, not just as a person, as Someone he wishes he could be with forever with, even though that might not even be possible for him, looking back at why he likes him is because Dillon’s always going to listen no matter what. It either could be them two for the end of the world or it will never happen.
Looking at Ziggy now and when he first met Dillon, he’s changed a lot, he though Ziggy was going to be one of these annoying brother types who always go around pissing you off, but no he was proven wrong a few weeks later. Ziggy was someone who was so sweet but he was treated wrong by the wrong group.
——
Late that night Ziggy was laying in bed, thinking about what happened in Dillon’s car was something he thought was never going to happen, he woah he noticed earlier but his cheeks went a bright red when he stared at him.
——
Further onto the night Ziggy thought it was a good idea to go out to try and get what happened earlier in the afternoon off his mind but he didn’t realise what was to come next, the air was always cold at night, he forgot his jacket, that’s the last thing he thought of doing before he came out in such a rush. He could feel his arms raise with goosebumps while his hands were in his pockets until he heard walking behind him, he didn’t decide to pace his own walking.
“Ziggy please wait up”
Turing around to see him and realising she could make the same mistake again of staring too long and going bright red.
“What”
He didn’t know how the next part of this would go he could say anything.
Dillon was looking at Ziggy like he’s just found him in the street
“Look..”
Taking his hands to Ziggys jaw line and finally leant in for the kiss that Ziggy was to scared to do.
His cheeks went the bright red he had been before.
“Come on you look cold let’s head back”
Giving him the jacket tbay was slightly too big for him.
Could this mean forever??
