Imagine you're not feeling well...
• You text Jonah that morning, after he's left for work, and tell him you're not feeling well. You just got your period and your cramps are getting worse and worse by the hour.
• You've taken medicine and are laying with your heating pad all day. You're hurting so bad that you don't want to move.
• You eat popcorn, but that's all you can stomach for now. You've begun feeling nauseous with the intensity of the cramps.
• You do, however, drink your morning coffee and make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
• Jonah has been texting you when he can all day - anytime he gets a break on set.
• You feel guilty that you've made him worry so much while he's at work. It's just a period; you deal with this every month.
• When the evening finally comes, your ears perk up at the sound of the apartment door opening. You sit up in bed, excited to see Jonah after a long day.
• He enters the room shortly after with flowers and a bag full of your favorite sweets. Your eyes water up when you see everything in his hands.
• "Jonah! You really didn't have to go to all this trouble," you try. Jonah pointedly fixes you with his gaze.
• "(Y/n), please, I know you're not feeling well. It's really no trouble at all." He comes to the bed to kiss your forehead. You wrap your arms around his neck, breathing in his scent. He laughs. "Darling, you have to let me go so I can put everything down. Then I'll come and lay with you."
• Breathing a sigh, you let him go and watch his form retreat to the kitchen. He puts the flowers in a vase with water and dumps the various candies and snacks into a large bowl. He brings both back to the bedroom for you.
• Putting your flowers on the bedside table, he hands you the bowl of sweets so that he can change into something more comfortable.
• You watch Jonah as he strips from his t shirt and jeans. He puts on a pair of grey sweatpants. No shirt. You're opening the exact candy you've been craving all day, but your eyes never leave him.
• He meets your eyes and smirks before walking back to the bed. He crawls in beside you as you move to press your back into his chest. You let your head fall back onto his shoulder.
• You hum lightly in appreciation when Jonah starts playing with your hair. "Do you want to watch a movie, sweetheart?"
• Jonah knows just what to do to make you happy. You excitedly nod your head, chewing on your candy. Jonah smiles down at you and grabs the remote.
