Work Text:
The show was a success, as were the other concerts they performed through the whole month. The public acceptance was quite large and attracted even more fans. And as all idols, they also deserved some time off after all the emotional and physical wear out, so they finally got a small break to rest away.
With the majority of the votes, the boys, including their manager, decided they would spend their ‘little vacation time’ at their home town, the place where they all met, where many memories of their childhood and adolescence remained, and of course, some of their relatives.
Seokjin would go to his parent’s house and Namjoon to his aunt’s. The manager, Yoongi, would spend some time alone in one of the apartments he owned there. And Jimin and Taehyung decided they would rent a flat nearby, because they had no relatives around and refused to take their friends offers to stay with their families, thinking it would be an invasion of their privacy, plus they were used to living together anyway.
But before that, they still had some paperwork to work on, Yoongi was kind enough to remind them every other hour, to be more specific, only Jimin and Seokjin needed to sign some things, so both woke up early and were on their way. Jimin was picked up by Seokjin, accompanied by Namjoon, who insisted so badly in tagging along, Seokjin even complained about not understanding why the other wanted to come on the first place since he had nothing to do there, and Jimin only laughed knowing exactly the hidden reasons for it.
Actually, Jimin wanted Taehyung to come as well, he always liked to solve everything in a group, especially with Tae’s company, but the latter said he was very tired and returned to sleep in less than two seconds. Jimin smiled recalling the scene and how cute it was.
They had to make a stop before meeting Yoongi, Seokjin said he needed to deliver a book to his cousin, since he had left it on the counter that morning and it was necessary for the day’s class. Seokjin wondered how the other could be so light-headed sometimes, he had just started an internship somewhere and and has already started forgetting everything at home.
Seokjin parked in front of the place and went in looking for his cousin, Jimin and Namjoon stayed at the car, waiting.

Hoseok had one earphone one, listening carefully to one of his favorite songs, totally hypnotized by the sweet voice, the volume was not high so he would also listen the door bell playing whenever someone would come in. And that just happened, so he pressed the pause button and showed a welcoming smile on his face. But his expression suddenly changed when he recognized the person approaching him.
Inner Hoseok: Oh my God I can’t believe it, is Seokjin,"THE" Seokjin, Kim mother fucking Seokjin!
Hoseok remained still behind the counter waiting for the ‘customer’, his smile turning slightly larger. The man, polite as always, returned the smile.
Inner Hoseok: Seokjin! Seokjin! OMG, he’s so handsome I want to cry!
"Excuse me, I’m looking for Wang Jackson, is he here?" Seokjin asked.
Inner Hoseok: So gorgeous, I can’t take it!
"Huh? Jackson?" Hoseok said after a while, goofy smile on his face.
Inner Hoseok: I still can’t believe this!
"He should be on his internship today." Seokjin explained.
Inner Hoseok: Ah! His voice is also so wonderful, he’s so polite, I’m dying...
"Oh, right, the trainee!” Hoseok answered somewhat embarrassed. "I only saw him once, sorry.”
"No problem, could you call him for me? Say it’s his cousin." The handsome man says.
Inner Hoseok: Cousin? Oh, my God! I need to become friends with this Jackson guy ASAP!
"He’s not here yet, but Dr. Mark should know where he is." Hoseok directs Seokjin to Mark’s office, still in awe.

After a few minutes listening to Namjoon singing aloud to his heavy metal songs, Jimin decided to seek after Seokjin, quietly sneaking out of the car, leaving Namjoon, who didn’t even notice, alone with his music.
Hoseok was daydreaming, thinking about how lucky he was to work with the cousin of one of the members of his favorite band, he didn’t feel sorry at all imagining he should certainly try to take advantage of the situation, like asking for thousands of autographs or something. Lost in his own world, Hoseok didn’t hear the door opening and someone coming in.
"Hoseok...?" That voice whispered so gently bringing Hoseok back to reality, his eyes widening in utter shock.
Inner Hoseok: OH... MY... GOD!
Feeling his heart accelerate immediately, Hoseok could only look - drool - over Jimin, he had that famous smile that always seems to hide a secret on his lips, a not so innocent secret.
Inner Hoseok: OH... MY... GOD!!!!! OH... MY... GOD!!!!! Breathe!!
"Jimin..." Hoseok said, his voice failing.
Inner Hoseok: Breathe!! Breathe!! BREATHE!!
“Hi?” Jimin waved a hand in front of Hoseok’s face.
Inner Hoseok: Still not breathing! You’re going to die!!!
This time Hoseok knew he had to do more than just freeze like an ice cube and say something. He finally gasped for air.
"Hi…hello.” He stuttered.
“Are you okay?” Jimin asked amused.
“Yeah…” Hoseok answered still catching his breath.
Inner Hoseok: WAIT A MINUTE! REWIND! Did he say MY NAME?
"Hey, Hoseok?" Jimin repeated, seeing the other boy looked lost.
Inner Hoseok: OMG!! He said it again! My name, he remembers my name!
Jimin laughed at Hoseok’s funny expressions, covering his lips with the palm of his hand.
Inner Hoseok: OMG, Jimin is so beautiful! Goodbye everyone, bye Earth!
"So you work here, that’s cute." Jimin starts a conversation after looking at all the animals at the store.
"Oh, yes. You came with Seokjin?" Hoseok says blushing.
"Yeah, I was in the car with Namjoon, but he is annoying.” Jimin jokes, Hoseok laughs.
"Ah, there’s that nice laugh again." Jimin points out making the other blush even more.
"Look, lollipops! I love lollipops!" Jimin says realizing the big bowl of candies at the counter top.
"Huh? Ah, yes, Doctor Mark always buys them for the customer’s children."
“Aw, is it only for children?” Jimin pouts.
Inner Hoseok: Aigoo, stop being so cuuuuuteeeee~!
“Oh, but you can have one!” Hoseok offers.
"Thank you." Jimin smiles wide and his eyes curve up the most adorable way.
Inner Hoseok: I’m suffering…KILL ME NOW PLEASE!
Jimin then unwraps the piece of candy and Hoseok watches intently as the other wets his lips with his tongue before tasting the candy, and then just licks the tip of it in slow circular motions, Jimin finally involves the entire lollipop with his plump lips, experiencing the sweet taste of strawberry in his mouth and to finish he moans in appreciation.
Inner Hoseok: I’M SO FUCKING DONE!
Hoseok watches, mouth agape, almost drooling, and eventually licking his own lips, then “POP” the lollipop leaves Jimin’s mouth and now he’s looking at him with that 'damn' smile.
Inner Hoseok: Park Jimin you’re seriously fucking RUDE!
And before anything can be said, Seokjin leaves the room with Dr. Mark. "Jimin? Couldn’t you wait in the car?" Seokjin asks surprised that his friend came after him. Jimin just waves at Seokjin, holding the lollipop with the tip of his fingers.
"Well, Dr. Mark said Jackson is at the University now, so we’ll have to go there." Seokjin explains and Jimin nods.
Seokjin says goodbye and leaves, Jimin smiles at Hoseok. “Here” He gives him the lollipop before following the elder. “See you, Hoseok.” He winks.
"Hey, do you know him?" Mark asks and there’s no answer. "Hoseok?" Mark looks at the boy who is staring at the piece of candy with a passionate look on his face and sighs. He decides not to disturb the moment and returns to his office.
Inner Hoseok: What now? Do I suck on it?

Nothing had apparently changed since the last time they were at the University, it was still huge, with the same trees that surrounded the entire field and those same ornate gates that led the students in. Even the smell of fresh paint and floral detergent they used to clean the floor was the same.
Seokjin parked the car in front of the Veterinary School and soon went out searching for his cousin, leaving once again Jimin and Namjoon behind.
Jimin leaned on to the backseat of the car, crossing his arms behind his head and closing his eyes trying to relax, but unfortunately, Namjoon decided to turn on the radio, listening - and singing – to his loud music again, not that Jimin didn’t like the songs nor his friend's voice, but not at that specific moment, so as soon as he opened his eyes and spotted a small coffee house right across the street he decided it would be his place of refuge.

To Jungkook the day had badly started, he still had a whole period of service ahead now as Professor at the University, not that he worked as hard as when he was an intern, but it was still tiring.
Sighing in frustration, Jungkook had just came out for one of his breaks, he always left earlier than the other teachers, because, in fact, he did not like the way that the elders treated him, as if he didn’t deserve to be among them.
He was on his way to his favorite resting place when he spotted someone, could that be the one who had tormented his thoughts since that fateful day they had met? Not believing his eyes, he stopped dead on his tracks to clearly observe the features of the other boy as he waited on the sidewalk for the street lights to turn green.
The perfect white, smooth complexion, the cute little nose, the silky hair and the plump lips couldn’t belong to anyone else but him, Jungkook was sure of it. It was Jimin, the stranger he met at the bridge, Jungkook gasped still a bit incredulous.
After that night, Jungkook was unable to forget him. In the following nights he always appeared in his dreams, dreams which started simply as incoherent blots and facts then turned into something more. Jungkook happened to have lots of erotic dreams about Jimin and increasingly intense, hence, Jimin didn’t leave his thoughts for a long, long time, and even when they started to fade, they would eventually return when he would feel alone.
He even looked for Jimin many times, expecting one day to find him and end this torment, to the point of madness, but he never found him. And now, his own irresistible insanity was just a few steps away.

Jimin had crossed the street and followed towards the coffee house, he got in and sat comfortable near the window waiting for the waitress, who soon came and wrote his order down. After asking for a cup of coffee, Jimin was looking through window, patiently waiting for Seokjin.
While enjoying his view, Jimin felt as if someone was watching him, he looked from side to side, but did not find anybody looking at him. At the place was an old lady with his grandson, a man reading the newspaper and at the counter a young man who seemed more interested in some game showing on TV, so without worrying too much, Jimin turned his head to look at the window again, but once he did, that the sensation of someone looking back at him returned, he began to feel uncomfortable and decided to leave the place.
Since Seokjin had not retuned yet, he went for a walk. He couldn’t help to notice this time someone was following him, he quickly glanced back and saw a man, and he seemed to have caught a glance of him back at the coffee shop. He continued walking as if nothing was happening. But after a while Jimin pressed the pace and quickly turned left into a corner. The man following him did the same, but now he couldn’t see Jimin anywhere, he stopped, finding it very confusing and scratching his head.
"Excuse me!" Jungkook turned around, knowing exactly who it was and embracing himself for a scold. He was now facing Jimin, but the other really did not seem angry.
"Were you following me?" Jimin asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh ... err ... I ..." Jungkook didn’t like lying. "Yes ..." He sighed in embarrassment.
"You seem familiar, do I know you?" Jungkook suddenly was full of hopes, did Jimin recognized him?
"Ah, Jungkook, I am Jeon Jungkook."
"Jungkook, no I don’t know any Jungkook." Jimin didn’t seem to remember who he was, letting Jungkook a bit disappointed, pouting slightly.
"Can you explain why you were following me, Jungkook?"
"Oh, sorry, I just thought ... a few years ago you and I... I recognized you and wanted to say hello, but, sorry if I was a little..." Jungkook was really embarrassed, he didn’t even know what to say.
"Creepy?” Jimin laughed. “Are you saying we’ve met before?” He really didn’t remember, Jungkook sighed.
"Well I kind of stopped you from jumping off a bridge in the park… but actually you weren’t really going to jump." He laughed awkwardly not wanting to give more details.
"Oh, right, I do remember that! It was a weird day wasn’t it?" Jimin smiled.
"Yes, it was..." Jungkook was still embarrassed but felt better now that the other had some memory of him.
"Well… Jungkook was good seeing you again, but I got to go now ..." Jimin said already turning around.
“Just like the other time…” Jungkook whispered, looking down.
"What?” Jimin thought he heard something.
"Ugh, nothing..."
"Okay, bye then."
"Jimin?" Jungkook calls for him, afraid of loosing once again a chance of seeing the boy who he had dreamt about for all this time.
"Yes?" Jimin was surprised that the other still knew his name after almost two years.
"Can I have your phone number?" Jungkook asks.
"Hum, you can’t, sorry." Despite the answer, Jimin’s tone was not cold or rude he remained sympathetic. Jungkook didn’t think he would get that answer though.
"Oh..." There’s not much he could say after that.
"You know, I’ll stay in the city for some time, maybe we would meet again, I'm sure you will find me, Jungkook." Jimin smiled, somewhat reassuring him.
"Oh, sure..." Jungkook wasn’t totally pleased with the situation, but knowing Jimin at least wanted to see him again made it a little better. He watched as Jimin gracelessly waved goodbye and left. Jungkook was going to make sure to find the other again, and maybe even make his dreams come true.
