Xiuying is the main character of Feeble Background Character Self-Saving System
Prior to being transported into the system she was living as a 18 year old first year college student
She does not have any biological family members alive and grew up in an orphanage
After a rage induced slip into a lake she wakes up within the show 'My Demonic Love'
There she becomes the background character Yin Lifen and is tasked with the goal of changing her and the main characters fate.

Lifen is the main love interests sister-in-law in the show 'My Demonic Love'
Her character originally was a well written and important character, however after her actress got in a scandal last minute rewriting changed her fate to be that of a feeble background character
In the show she is reduced to Lan Xichen's wife and a plot device to highlight Jin Guangyao's willingness to kill
With Qian Xiuying living as her much of her original personality is changed. At the start of of the AU she is 16.
