It was almost unbearably warm, but she'd rather fall all over again if it meant moving away from this. From Charlie's gentle fingers preening her wings. From even gentler knuckles caressing her lower ribs as they basked in each other's warmth.
The air around them was warm, heated energy still buzzing in the little space that remained between them. Vaggie hadn't moved from her perch on Charlie's hips and she wasn't going to anytime soon, content to indulge in her love's soft exploration of her skin.
(Which she'd already explored more times than there were numbers for, but who's to say she won't find something new this time?)
A soft sound split from between Vaggie's lips when Charlie's fingers pressed into a particularly sensitive spot on her wing. In the junction where feathers began to peter off into skin.
Vaggie's face must've deepened in color because her princess was peppering her cheeks in light kisses before she could even hope to shy away from the attention. Her thighs flexed slightly around Charlie's hips, causing a bit of gentle friction that only added to their shared warmth.
“Too much?” Charlie asked, breath hot on Vaggie's face with their proximity. The princess shifted between her legs, pressing even further into her space as she tugged Vaggie down a bit by cupping her cheeks with a fond smile.
Vaggie shook her head, tucking her overhanging bangs behind her ear as they threatened to hit Charlie in the face, “No… It's just–”
Her lungs forced in a breath and her wings trembled as Charlie prodded the spot with her fingertips again. A bit more pressure in her movements this time. A teasing lilt was obvious in the smeared lipstick that just barely clung to Charlie's smile.
“Sorry, couldn't resist.” She pulled Vaggie back down gently, kissing her on the nose this time eliciting a deep gray to spread all the way down the poor angel's neck to her collarbone. Charlie's knuckles drifted up from Vaggie's ribs to her sternum, resting her palm there to feel her heartbeat flutter against her skin.
If being pulverized by look alone was possible, Vaggie sure would've been nothing but dust atop of Charlie's bare stomach. Deep red was nearly overtaken by nothing but affection as her princess took her in as though this was their first and last moment together.
Thin fingers twisted her feather's between them, the hand pressed against her sternum sliding around to the dip in her waist to press Vaggie flush against Charlie. Their heartbeats pattering in a mismatched rhythm as they slotted further against each other. Vaggie melted into her love, all tension draining from her muscles as she pressed her lipstick-smeared cheek against Charlie's.
Vaggie could stay here forever.
Charlie pressed a light kiss to the space beneath her ear as her fingers strummed along the rungs of her spine. A comforting heat followed her touch that had Vaggie sighing contently and sinking even further onto her girlfriend, her legs squeezing Charlie's hips gently.
“You're so soft,” Charlie giggled into her ear, a hand curling into Vaggie's hair and twisting a lock around her finger as she moved on from teasing her angel's wings, “and pretty, and amazing. I love youu.” She nuzzled Vaggie's cheek a bit as she lingered on her last word, fingers dragging adoring circles into her shoulder blade now.
The fallen angel's heart grew impossibly warmer, her eyes falling closed as she relaxed further into her love's hands. Sitting in Charlie's loving palms. “I love you too, bug. Little more to the right?” Vaggie hummed lightheartedly, but her smile grew fonder as Charlie immediately danced her fingers in just the way she wanted.
Yea, she could definitely stay like this forever. Eternity didn't seem so bad, like this.
