Chapter Text
Izuku opens his eyes and looks around and sees that he's no longer in his room instead he's in a white void... Oddly familiar one too, the last time he was here he got summoned by truth to watch his future, you remembered that it absolutely helped them improve far greater than they would have normally given that everything they've seen. He called out to truth to see if he was correct and assuming that he got summoned by the same deity, he wasn't surprised to hear a chuckle from Saturday coming from all around him.
"I see that analytical mind of yours hasn't changed since the last time we spoke Midoriya." truth said from behind him, midoriya turned around and smiled brightly at the deity and asked "I know you didn't someone else here to see the future considering that we're already past everything that you showed us last time, is there a new reason." Midoriya questions curiously. Truth explains his new purpose for somebody the Boku no hero party to the realm that they were at last time they were here stating that this time it's to watch an alternate world, the only price that they would pay this time however is knowledge of how their world needs to change more or less trying to be a little cryptic about it. Midoriya doesn't really see any reason to decline since the physical pain isn't going to be like last time. He asks in curiosity if there will be any pain, truth shakes his head and says that the only pain that he might experiences emotional and maybe mental pain, but nothing that he'll experience from the show specifically just things that he will experience from seeing it which makes sense. Midori agrees not really seeing a downside, and appears in the same room that they were summoned in last time with one new person this time it was the detective lie detector that is friends with all might. He and all might explain everything that happened the last time that they were here, and tell him that any information that they gain about discrimination or otherwise might be useful to implement in to the Future programs as well.
They all sit down and start watching the movie or well not movie but alternate world that they were summoned to see, "Izuku Midoriya tried to like heroes. He really did. That was difficult, however, when it had only been a month since the number one hero himself had crushed Izuku’s dreams like a stale cracker, and then simply watched as Kacchan was attacked. Izuku wondered what would have happened if Death Arms hadn’t prevented him from running in at the last minute. Maybe he would have impressed All Might, who would have taken him on, and taught him how to be a hero. Izuku scoffed at his own thoughts. Him, a quirkless loser, impress All Might? Yeah right.". After hearing that first paragraph from the mind of midoriya they know already that it's an alternate world since they know that passed izuku was quirkless they aren't surprised that he would say something like that in the past but we're surprised by the bitterness and envy hear from it it's different from what they're used to but they decide to charge on and see what they can learn about this alternate world and how they can use that to implement a better world in there reality.
"As it was, All Might had gotten his act together eventually and Kacchan had been alright, if unconscious, when he was retrieved from the sludge villain's body, and Izuku had spent the last month quietly selling off his All Might merchandise and harboring a growing resentment toward hero society. Which is what led him to where he was now, sitting at a sketchy internet cafe, about to tell a random internet acquaintance, who in all probability might be a villain, how to kill a minor hero.
He had found the post on one of the more underground hero forums, the kind that often included posts about vigilantes and villains alongside the heroes. Izuku didn’t necessarily want to be on it, but he was holding onto a hope that if he just continued doing the things he enjoyed before everything went to shit then he might eventually start feeling a spark of something besides anger. The post itself hadn’t been that long, just one question:
Whyher0es301:
Completely hypothetically, how would one go about killing Mt. Lady?"
A sharp intake of breath has heard from everyone in the room not knowing how to react to the fact that this midoriya is saying such things as well as to the question that they saw the online user ask some grumble if something like this is normal while the detective nods knowing that it is in fact something that they have trouble with getting down on the internet. Izuku looks worryingly over at all might and says that he never ever held anything against him and that that's not how he thinks anymore or at all all might smiles at him reassuringly until 7:00 not to worry about it since he knows that this isn't the same him. "A simple post like that shouldn’t have changed his life. Izuku should have just ignored it, or maybe told the police, especially after he read through the users old post and discovered that, even if they weren’t a villian, they were definitely a villain sympathizer. He should have not given it a second thought and turned to more reputable forums to try and dig himself out of his growing depression. Instead, he did none of that."
"Uh oh" some of the students and teachers as well as the detective says on the esoli seeing all of that go on they are not really sure how to feel about a potentially villainous izuku and they're not really sure if they want to continue watching him but they know it's too late to take it back so they forged on the head after talking about some of the things that they saw and how they could fix it potentially.
"For the next week, the question repeated in Izuku’s mind like a broken record, his mind latching onto anything that could cut through his apathy. How would one go about killing Mt. Lady? She was a new hero, prideful, and media hungry, which might explain why she was one of the hero world’s rising stars, but Izuku knew she had weaknesses. He found himself at more and more of her fights over the next week, trying and failing to convince himself that he was there because he liked Mt. Lady, not because he was analysing her weaknesses. It had only taken him three days to realize that his hero analysis books contained enough information on heroes weaknesses that he could probably kill any hero he wanted to, with a little work. The thought made him sick, but it still didn’t stop him from seeking out Mt. Lady’s fights and it definitely didn’t stop his brain from obsessing over how to kill her.". A few people share glances well also talking to the movie making observations and some even agreeing with how mt lady's persona was described.
"It would be laughably easy, Izuku realized, to use her love of the media against her. Pretend to be a reporter, lure her into a densely populated area with narrow streets to prevent her from using her quirk, ask for a selfie and stab her through the heart while her eyes were focused on the camera, then blend into the crowd before anyone realized she was dead. He tried to leave it at that. He knew how to kill her, so he really didn’t need to be thinking about it anymore. After the week he’d had, he really should have expected that putting the issue out of his mind wouldn’t work. Anyway, it was all hypothetical anyway, right? What was the harm in private messaging the poster and describing his plan, as well as a few back ups, just in case. After all, it wasn’t as if the poster was actually a villian, just a villian sympathiser. Mt. Lady probably wouldn’t end up dead. And Izuku could make a dummy account at an internet cafe just in case, so that no one could track his IP address, and then he’d never have to use the account again and maybe he’d actually be able to finally stop thinking about this."
Few people asked midoriya if these notes that he made on mt lady we're true but the fact that he just looked pensive and didn't actually respond didn't bode well, not at all.
"An hour after walking into the internet cafe, Izuku signed out of the account he’d made, M4sterM1nd404, and walked out the front door feeling oddly relieved.
Izuku Midoriya tried to like heroes.
It didn’t work."
As the show continued on it continue to show Midori will become more depressed as he slowly drift off into more of villainous thinking in order to stop himself from slipping further he applies to many jobs most of which require for some unknown reason a quirk that he wouldn't even be able to use because of law and yet it still required for him to have one to even apply to some of these places as they would make excuses on how he wouldn't be a fit or they simply wouldn't call him. Some people made disgusted noises over this fact that this is how the quirkless were treated, midoriya himself just smiled bitterly knowing that this is exactly how they're treated. Don't last place he applied to McDonald's one of his school bullies also applied to he knew that the bully had more black marks on his record had worse grade than him but had a quirk it was that last fact that got the bully hired and he didn't even get an interview it was this last straw. At the end of the first episode everyone shifted uncomfortably in their seats Nedsu summoned all of the teachers as well as the detective and Izuku himself to talk about these problems and how to fix them in the future. Little did they know that the rest of the class also weren't happy about this and we're making their own plans on how to fix this, it was with these plans in mind that they sat down to start watching episode 2.
