It was a peaceful evening on a Sunday where there was nothing to do except laze around in bed and scroll through tiktok or whatever.
Ena came over to Mizuki's house simply for one reason, she was bored (and she missed being around Mizuki, but she won't admit that!). She was also laying on their bed occupied with her phone while Mizuki was busy editing the MV for Niigo's new song. It was a peaceful evening.
Until it wasnt.
Mizuki hear a loud noise, or a scream even though they were wearing their headphones. They turned their head towards the direction of the noise. Lo and behold, they saw Ena was standing on their bed with a terrified look.
"MIZUKI!!"
"What?" Mizuki asked her with a puzzled look. Why was she screaming at them for no reason?
"ROACH!"
"what?"
"A ROACH!"
"What's wrong with roaches"
"THERE'S A FUCKING ROACH, MIZUKI!"
"WHAT THE FUCK, WHERE?" At this point Mizuki also jumped and stood on their chair.
Also, why is there a roach in their room. They always make sure that their was always clean and tidy. How the hell is there a literal bug in their room.
And the chaos continues. "OVER THERE NEAR THE MANNEQUIN" Ena aggressively pointed to where the roach was. "MIZUKI, KILL IT"
"WHAT, NO WAY! IM NOT GONNA KILL THAT MONSTER" Mizuki was scared of roaches but not equally to Ena's level because she was literally screaming from the top of her lungs. "And stop screaming, you're gonna disturb the neighbours"
"How am I supposed to not scream? What if it flew over to me!"
"It's not gonna"
"Well if don't want me to scream more, what if you kill that monster!"
"IM NOT GONNA SACRIFICE MYSELF"
"WELL THEN NO ONE'S GONNA DO IT FOR US"
She was right though. No one was home except for the two of them.
"Pretty please Mizuki. Please kill it" Ena was begging with the adorable look Mizuki had ever seen. How could they say no.
They released a sigh, and willingly sacrifing themself to kill the monster, or roach whatever it's the same thing.
"Fine" They took an empty notebook that was left to dust on their table and made a mental note to throw it away once the roach was killed. Mizuki got down from the chair they were standing on and carefully head over to the roach.
Carefully they swung the book and hit the target, hard. For some extra death, they also stepped on the book to make sure it's really dead. Lifting the notebook, the roach was squished to death.
Mizuki turned over to look at Ena and give her a silly grin and a thumbs up signaling that it was dead. Ena finally felt relieved.
The roach was thrown in a garbage can, never to be seen again. "Are you happy now, princess?" They teased her.
"Yes, very happy"
"Great" They head over to the bed and layed themself next to Ena. "Don't you think I deserve a reward to going through war?"
"It was a roach, you were not going through a war"
"It was clearly a war considering that you were begging on you knees to be saved"
"I did not!"
"Yes you did. Now give me a reward" they were very eager to get their well deserved reward.
Ena then place a quick peck on Mizuki's lips. They were clearly not satisfied. "Only a peck?"
"Ugh, fine"
She cupped Mizuki's cheeks and kissed them lovingly. It wasn't long and wasn't short. Ena broke the kiss first but Mizuki was quick to kiss her again. She was surprised but quickly melt into the kiss. It was sweet, their lips tastes like strawberry. She didn't want this to end. Ena kissed them back. Both of their bodies were pressing onto each other's.
Mizuki broke the kiss, needing air to breathe. Ena stared at them and traced her thumb on their cheek. They leaned into her hand.
"Were you satisfied by the reward"
"Very" They answered softly.
"Me too"
Mizuki then wrapped their arms around Ena's waist and tucking their head under her chin. Ena also wrapped her arms around them. "Lemme take a quick nap. I'm gonna continue the editing later" they nuzzled into her neck.
"You're such a baby" her hand reached Mizuki's head, stroking their soft pink locks. "Have a nice nap"
"Mhm" they hummed before falling asleep. Ena continued running her fingers through their hair as she resumed her activity before the innocent roach created the chaos.
Yeah, a peaceful evening.
