Post-Fight Patch-Up

Summary:

You got severely injured after a fight with an enemy. Thankfully, your boyfriend happens to have the fastest and most precise Stand in the world. The injuries still hurt a lot, though.

Work Text:

The Stand that the Crusaders were up against was tough, but you knew that you could beat it. After all, you and Jotaro’s Stands were some of the strongest in the world.

“I’ll attack this side, you attack the other!” you told Jotaro, who nodded his head.

“You think that will be my undoing?” the user cackled. “You fools!” In an instant, his Stand appeared, and knocked Jotaro back into a wall.

“Jotaro!” you cried. As you attempted to run over to him, you heard him shout:

“Don’t worry about me! Look behind you!”

Quickly, you turned around, and saw the Stand headed straight for you. Before you had time to react, it hit you straight on, making you collide with a glass window. Although it was tough, you could still stand, so you had to keep fighting. However, due to your lack of strength, the enemy was easily able to land another blow, knocking you back into the streets. Before you could get up, he put a foot on your back, making it impossible.

“Let this be known to Joestar’s little band of heroes,” the man said. “I’ll be the one to finish all five of you off, starting with the girl!”

However, before his Stand could land the final blow, another force punched it in the gut, knocking him backwards.

“Nobody pushes my girlfriend around like that!” Jotaro scowled. “Not me, not anyone else, and especially not a rotten scumbag like you.”

While your enemy was being pummeled by a very angry Star Platinum, you tried to take some of the glass shards out of your skin, but only ended up hurting yourself more. The only other thing you could do was wait. Eventually, Jotaro had finished the enemy off, and he had Star pick you up off the ground.

“I can still walk, you know,” you strained. “I actually might do better. There’s no glass in my feet.”

“Right, sorry,” Jotaro said, carefully setting you down. However, as soon as you tried to take a step, you almost fell to the ground. Either it was from the blood loss or a concussion, but you were feeling so dizzy you might pass out.

“I think I might need you to carry me, actually,” you smiled. Jotaro smiled back, and had Star Platinum pick you up again.

“Come on,” he chuckled. “Let’s get you healed up.”

“Ow!” you cried. “Don’t pull so hard!”

“I’m being as gentle as I can, calm down,” Jotaro said as Star pulled out the glass shards stuck in your body. “Do you want me to remove these myself?”

You grumbled, but kept silent for the rest of the process, other than a few yelps.

“Back side,” Jotaro stated. “Roll over.”

You did as he said, relieved to not be laying down on sharp glass anymore.

“Yikes,” he muttered. “These are deep. I probably shouldn’t have had you lay down on them.”

“You think?” you muttered. “Ah! That was painful!”

“It’s going to be painful,” Jotaro sighed. “But I need to get these shards out of your body.”

“I know, I know,” you gritted your teeth as Star Platinum removed another piece of glass. “Just make it quick.”

“Maybe I shouldn’t have let you lay down on them,” he said to himself. “Oh, well. Nothing we can do now.”

“Ow! Ow! It hurts! Stop!”

Jotaro did as you said, and Star Platinum stopped pulling for a little bit. “Turn around,” he told you, “but don’t lay on your back. Sit up.”

You did what he told you to, making sure not to lean on your back. “The open skin really stings when I put pressure on it,” you muttered. “I should probably bandage that up.”

When you were sitting straight up, Jotaro leaned in and kissed you on the lips. Of course, the minute he did, you returned it, staying that way for a little bit. Then, when Jotaro finally pulled away, you smiled at him.

“Okay, I’m ready to finish my back,” you said.

“Good, because I’m ready, too,” Jotaro replied. “You’ll be patched up in no time.”
