“Oh no! You squished him!” “No, that was all you’re fault” -Killua Zoldyck and Y/N
Kurapika had just left for the pet store. He was going to buy a new hamster, since his old one had been eaten by Killua’s cat Yoyo. It was a very gruesome death, and Kurapika was very angry at Killua… so to make up for the digested hamster, Killua paid Kurapika the amount of money he needed to buy a new one.
Since Kurapika was gone, it was just you and Killua. Gon was training with Bisky, and Leorio was studying for med school, which left the 2 of you alone together. “So uhhh…” Killua said, breaking the silence “You wanna maybe, do something or-“ “Sure Killua! What do you want to do?” you asked, hoping he would’nt say teletubbies… you hated that show so much, and couldn’t understand the appeal to which Gon and Killua found in the show… “Wanna watch teletubbies with me?” he asked with a hopeful glint in his eyes. He could tell by the ‘oh brother’ look on your face that you were gonna say no… so he decided that maybe it wasn’t the best time for that “You don’t want to huh?” “Nope, I don’t. There are so much better things we could do, besides, Gon isn’t here and it’s way more fun to watch when he is here or in a group.” you reply “Okay, then what do you want to do?” he asked, then added “But I’m not doing anything that involves sacrificing my chocolate robots!” he said, sounding a bit worried, cause he hated saying no to you, but he also wanted his robots protected “Okay, okay, don’t worry… I was thinking something more along the lines of poker?” Killua liked that idea so he agreed and the 2 of you began to play poker.
After demolishing Killua at poker for about an hour, Kurapika finally came home from the pet store… “Y/n! Look at my new hamster! Isn’t he cute!” Kurapika said excitedly, his eyes trailing over to meet Killua’s, and when their eyes met, his turned red as he gave Killua the darkest glare you’ve ever seen “Keep your cat away this time, and if you ever decide to hold my hamster, make sure either y/n or Gon babysit you!” Kurapika said in a threatening tone. Killua shrugged “Okay… okay I got it…” he replied, with a smug expression on his face… Kurapika turned to y/n, and stared intently into her (e/c) eyes “So y/n, what do you think of the name Bobby for him?” he asked you excitedly “Oh that’s a really good name! Totally a good name!” you forced a smile, those words did not come out of you naturally, and you were relieved to see that he was still smiling, not noticing your hesitation. You didn’t love the idea of the name Bobby, and you were still getting over his death glare, cause it had affected you too.
Kurapika had been going through a lot lately, hunting the Phantom Troupe and all, so any small thing was enough to tick him off. He was going away to search for them in the evening, and wasn’t gonna be back for a couple days, so he assigned you to take care of Bobby for him.
Kurapika had just about left, he was walking out the door before turning around and giving Killua one last glare, and a small kiss on the forehead for you (which made you blush slightly), and then he was gone. For the next couple hours, it was gonna be just you and Killua. Gon’s training with Bisky was over at midnight, and Leorio was coming home from med school in a couple days. Now that the 2 of you were alone again, you decided to play a game of spin the bottle ‘fight edition’. It was basically the same as spin the bottle, where you roll the dice and spin the bottle, but instead of all the romantic stuff, if was changed into fight scenes, though 7 minutes of heaven was still included for some reason… though it was changed to 7 minutes in not heaven… The dice roll results were something like this:
1. 3-step duel with nail guns
2. Slap fight
3. Spar
4. Boxing match
5. Martial arts duel
6. 7 minutes in not heaven
It was Killua’s turn to roll first, and he rolled a 5, so the 2 of you went full force at each other. Killua was first to move, resulting in a swift kick in your lower jaw. It hurt like bullets, but you quickly shrugged it off as you narrowly dodged a punch coming straight for your forehead. ‘Dang, I forgot how good a fighter he is…’ you thought to yourself ’well, no more holding back then… I’m shifting into beast mode!’. After dodging what seemed to be a hundred more punches and kicks, you were all warmed up, plus a few bruises on your face. Killua was about to throw another punch at your face, you quickly caught it, swung around, and hit him hard against the cheek with your left foot, leaving a red footprint on his face. “Wow! You actually do know how to fight!” Killua remarked in an amused tone “Ok sure whatever…” you said sarcastically, rolling your eyes, which was a bad idea because Killua took advantage of your eye-roll to land a hard punch across the side of your face. Blood spurted out the side of your mouth, and next thing you knew, everything turned black.
”Hey wake up y/n! I won the first round, and it’s your turn to roll the dice!” Killua said loudly, a smirk on his face while shaking you awake. Your vision was hazy, but you shook it off like it was nothing “I can’t believe I actually lost to you…” you say annoyed while rolling the dice. Your dice landed on 6… “Aw come on…” you say “That’s the worst roll I could’ve gotten!” “Haha! Baka!” Killua laughed making fun of you.
”So which closet do you want to spend the next seven minutes in?” Killua asked, still wearing that smirk
”Kurapika’s closet…” you say, knowing that it was very spacious, and Bobby was in there, along with snacks. It was basically a pantry in there, and Killua knew that too, because as you said that, he immediately started drooling and smiling like a spoiled child.
”Very good choice.” Killua remarked “Though it’s supposed to be 7 minutes in not heaven…”
”Yeah, I know but like, I’m sure it’ll be like that anyway, besides, there’s food in there, and chocolate so it’s not like we’re gonna be getting along anyways…”
“Wait there’s food in there?”
”Yes.”
”Ok never-mind one of us is gonna be happy, and one of us is gonna be extremely disappointed, and that’s gonna be you, cause I’m not sharing anything.”
”That would be only if you can take it from me!” you say in a mocking tone
“Game on!” Killua said as the 2 of you run upstairs to the 3rd level where Kurapika’s room was located in the mansion. Once you got there, you set the timer for 7 minutes, went into the closet, and got started.
Kurapika’s closet was packed with sweets, along with Kurta-styled clothing, suits, and pictures of his clan, and in the corner, Bobby. After fighting for the candy, you had 4 million left so you 2 got the brilliant idea to play with Bobby. Since Kurapika was gone, they could do that undetected. You opened up the hamster cage and took Bobby out of the cage, and held him in your hands. Killua also wanted to hold Bobby so he used godspeed to rip him out of your hands, knowing you wouldn’t let him. “Hey I was holding him you know!” you yelled at him “I know, but I wanted a turn!” he said defensively. The 2 of you kept on bickering like this, ignoring the timer go off, until you heard some footsteps coming upstairs. “Uh Oh…” you said and quickly tried to grab Bobby to put him back “Give him to me Killua! Someone’s coming!” you said in a hushed voice, while pulling on Bobbly, trying to remove him from Killua’s grip.
“Jeez y/n I’m just holding him!” Killua snapped, as the hamster seemingly exploded “Oh no! You squished him!”
“No! That was all your fault!” you yelled back at him, as the closet door suddenly opened.
Y/n and Killua were greeted by an annoyed Kurapika and happy Gon. Kurapika put his hand on his forehead, and shook his head back and forth “I can’t leave you 2 for an hour, and there’s already been a murder in the house!” Kurapika said, clearly agitated “Hi y/n! Hi Killua!” Gon said happily, clearing having no idea what just happened. You and Killua looked up at Kurapika, who this time wasn’t only angry at Killua, but at you too. But once he saw that worried looked in your eyes, he couldn’t help but feel guilty, and decided not to punish anyone. He then scolded you and Killua and explained how when he sets rules, he doesn’t want them to be broken.
Then you were let go, and you went to watch an episode of teletubbies with your friends…
