It was nighttime at New York City and some of the citizens were lining up to see a magic show at a local theatre.
Even the twins Donnie and Leo were there to for some reason as right now their wearing their hoodies so that no one can see who they really are.
And after paying for their tickets at a ticket booth, the two of them have a chat for a bit while going inside the theatre and finding their seats.
“Thanks for coming with me to see a magic show Dontron, this is going to be like the best bonding experience ever!” Leo said happily.
“Your welcome Nardo. But it’s a bit weird to see that the invite stated that we should come to this show and not bring along Mikey, Raph or even April with us. Don’t you think it’s weird?” Donnie asked.
“Come on, the invite only allowed 2 of us to watch the show and besides we’re twin brothers. So it kinda makes sense for us to watch it together right?” Leo replied.
“Maybe you are right Nardo. Let’s just see what happens in this magic show. Even though science is more superior then magic.” Donnie said.
“I heard that.” Leo said being annoyed at Donnie who claimed that science is more superior then magic.
Then the lights turn off. And then the it turns back on as the curtains reveals the magician who will be making the crowd amazed by his awesome magic tricks.
“Hello there my lovely fans. It is I, Henry the Magnificat!” The magician introduced himself.
The crowd cheers for him including Leo but not Donnie.
“Come on Donnie, cheer for him.” Leo said to his twin brother.
“No. And besides, I could already tell there’s something fishy about him. Like he’s not a magician at all.” Donnie said with a suspicious look on his face.
“Oh Donnie, you can’t just be suspicious of everyone. It’s just like when Dad stole the car and you thought everyone including our friend April and a bunch of peoples at Senor Hueso’s restaurant stole it.” Leo explained
“I know but-“ Donnie said until he is interrupted by one of the peoples in the crowd shushing him.
And so the magic acts begin as this magician puts on a lot of amazing tricks.
Like making a person disappear and re-appear, pulling a bunny out of a hat and even sawing a person in half.
And while Leo was enjoying all of the acts, Donnie became more sceptical about the whole thing.
Until it was time for the finale.
“Now. I need a volunteer to test out my latest act that would sure make you all shaken with suspense.” Henry said.
“What kind of act is it? Is it a death trap?” Donnie asked.
“Hey, not cool Donnie.” Leo said in a annoyed tone.
“No, no silly. And to demonstrate I’m gonna ask the boy right next to you to be my volunteer.” The magician said as he points at Leo.
Both the twins were shocked about it. Leo was bursting from joy because he’d never been a volunteer for a magic act before.
But Donnie still think that something is wrong and that maybe Leo shouldn’t be doing this.
Until after Leo ran up towards the stage suddenly the magician gets a text message from someone suspicious.
And upon seeing this he puts his phone away and brings everyone’s attention with a thunderclap.
“Sorry everyone, but I’m afraid that’s the end of the show tonight. But don’t worry because you guys will see the act next time once I show it to the volunteer first.” Henry explained to the audiences.
Hearing that, everyone in the crowds leave the theatre, except for Donnie.
Who was still trying to figure out what’s going on.
That is until, he sees something on the magician’s clothes.
Even though it was a bit blurry, it turns out to be a cola king brooch.
The same one that their other friends Sunita had, including Big Mama. Which they use to disguise themselves as humans.
Leading Donnie to realise that a Yokai or even worse a Mutant found another one of these, and is now disguised himself as a human magician.
And that Leo is now in danger and it’s going to get himself hurt or even worse killed.
“Leo, wait! Don’t go with him!” Donnie tried to yell to his twin brother.
But it was too late as the 2 of them had already went to the backstage.
But this didn’t stop Donnie from following them.
So he pulls his Tech-Bo Staff out of his bag and runs into the curtains.
Hopefully to warn his brother about whats going to happen.

Ever since he was little, Leo loved doing magic tricks it’s his brothers which includes making Mikey disappear and finding a coin in Raph’s ears.
The only one who didn’t like his magic tricks was Donnie, because he believes that it was inferior to science which kinda makes him sad about it.
But now he’s gotten this great opportunity to amaze his twin brother with a magic trick that Henry promised him, will be dangerous.
And even though it might be scary, he’s always ready for danger.
“Now, are you sure your ready for this trick. You might not like it.” The magician asked Leo.
“Come on, dangerous is my middle name.” Leo said in a arrogant tone.
“Are you sure? I thought your middle name was turbo right?” He asked.
This caused Leo to be confused.
How did the magician know his real middle name?
This was starting to freak him out.
“Actually, you know what maybe I should head back out with Donnie. Can’t have my twin waiting for me ok.” Leo said while having a scared tone in his voice.
“I’m afraid not, you pesky turtle!” The magician said.
Suddenly he whips out his wands and pulls out a rope which grabs Leo and even starts to pull him back towards him.
“You are not going anywhere until your twin brother shows up and your inside that tank!” Henry said evilly.
This causes Leo to realise that he’s going to be placed in a water tank. One of the most dangerous magic act of all time.
He heard and read that some magicians drowned during this act and even though some have survived. A few didn’t and this scared him.
Now he’s going to be placed inside a tank which the magician told him will start filling with water.
So now Leo’s regretting that he didn’t take Donnie out to see this magic show.
And hopes that his twin brother will find him before it’s too late.

It had been a few minutes since he had began his search for Leo.
Until he sees that a door in the backstage have been opened.
And when he goes inside of it, this is what he had saw.
Leo being handcuffed by the magician while next to the water tank.
“Hey! What are you doing to Nardo?!” Donnie asked angrily.
This causes the magician to notice him.
“Oh great. There are now two of you here. Guess like I have no choice but to reveal myself.” Henry said.
Then he presses a button on the cloaking brooch, which causes him to revert back to his original self.
That when Donnie and Leo sees who he really is.
One of the mutants who have been trying to hunt them down, Hypno.
The pieces was now being brought together
“So you were the one who sent us the tickets and had me volunteer for this dangerous act?” Leo asked the hippo mutant.
“That’s right Leo. I was told by Big Mama that she’s been trying to find you guys for her next Battle Nexus. But she doesn’t know where you and your family lives. So she asked me to find out where they live and report it back to her.” Hypno explained.
“So what? Does this revolves handcuffing my brother and throwing him into a tank filled with water?” Donnie asked.
“Yes, as if you want your brother freed then you must reveal to me where the location of your lair is. Otherwise he will drown to death just like famous magician Houdini.” Hypno said evilly.
Donnie has hit a roadblock now.
If he tells Hypno the location, then Big Mama will find them and will force the 4 brothers to fight not only the yokais but also themselves.
But if he doesn’t then he will be risking losing his twin brother from basically dying in a water tank.
“Tick tock purple one. You ahven’t got all day.” The hippo mutant said as he use his wand to throw Leo into the water tank and locking it up.
And just like what he said, the tank started to fill up with water much to Leo’s fear and Donnie’s worries for his twin brother.
He doesn’t know what to do.
Even though the two of them bicker and fight like cats and dogs, they still love each other as twins.
And all he could hear right now was Leo protesting for him to not reveal their location and Hypno trying to break him into giving out the lair’s location.
Until finally he makes a decision.
“You know Hypno. I won’t tell you the location to save my twin brother. Instead how about we have a little fight!” Donnie yelled as he takes off his hoodie and even takes out his Tech-Bo Staff.
“Ok then. But I must warned you that I have grown a lot stronger after the last time we thought.” Hypno said.
“Donnie what are you doing?” Leo said while the water had reached to his legs.
“Dopn’t worry Leo, just hang on while I fights him ok?” Donnie replied.
“Ok Dontron. I’ll try my best to survive.” Leo said with hopes that his brother will take the fool down.
And just like that, the battle begins.
But thn just when Donnie was about to swing his Tech-Bo Staff at the mutant, Hypno retaliates by turning it into a banana.
“What the?” Donnie said being confused while Leo tries his best not to laugh.
“Oopsie Daisy, looks like your weapon is gone. What are you going to do now?” Hypno said to donnie.
Now he has to fight the magician without his beloved weapon.
Which might be really difficult to the spiny softshell turtle, but thanks to everything he learnt from Witch Town and April, he takes on a new tactic by straight up tackling the hippo mutant onto the ground.
Which Hypno didn’t like.
“Oh, your going to regret that you little bitch.” The hippo mutant said with anger.
Then he sues his magic tricks as his owns weapons.
By summoning some cards which he hurls at Donnie.
With the purple banded turtle dodging them, until he gets knocked out by one of them and is seemly crushed by all of the debris that came out of the attack.
“Donnie!” Leo screamed as the water had almost reached his neck.
He couldn’t hold on any longer, the water tank was about to be filled with water. So Leo takes a lot of deep breathes before he dunks underwater and continues to watch whats going on despite his struggles to breathe.
He was delighted to see that Donnie’s ok but then sees what Hypno is doing to his twin brother.
He uses his disarming voice to hypnotise Donnie, then wraps him up like a mummy which was actually horrifying for Leo to see.
But that wasn’t the worst part of it all.
“Now then. It’s time for a mummy like you to return to your tomb.” Hypno said to a hypnotised Donnie.
Then he spins him around like a yo-yo until after 3 times throws him into a box filled with spikes and Leo was forced to watch as Donnie is put into the box that automatically closed on him and falls onto the ground.
Then he sees blood coming out of it, implying that his brother is now dead.
He screamed at the sight of it, but that ending up being his huge mistake as this caused him to loose a lot of air he had.
So he proceeds to start choking and inhaling water as Hypno walks towards the water tank to watch.
“Guess like your twin brother didn’t save you after all.” The hippo mutant said with a evil laugh.
And that was the last thing Leon heard before he stopped inhaling water and started to lose councils.
It’s actually kinda unsettling that a day of joy and fun for the twin brothers turned into the day they both died in.
With Leo drowning to death and Donnie being stabbed by a lot of metal spikes.

Well, time to send another 2 tickets as a anomalous person. But this time with their other brothers.” Hypno said to himself with a evil smile on his face.
But then just when he was about to open the door, suddenly he hears a noise coming from the piles of debris.
He sees it moving and twisting and even hears a voice coming from it too.
“Oh no you don’t you evil magician.”
Then outcomes Donnie who breaks free from the rubbles and begins to charge at the mutant.
“Stay away from Mikey and Raph!” Donnie yelled as he tackled Hypno again onto the floor.
“What the? How are you still alive? I hypnotised you and I killed you!” Hypno asked being confused and angry.
“Well, it seems like someone has forgotten that I have the ability of making holograms. {then he zooms towards the tomb} So that meant you hypnotised my hologram and kill him.” Donnie said as he opens the tomb revealing a hologram of Donnie covered in holes and blood.
Guess like the tables have been turned.
But Hypno is not going to let Donnie get away with it.
Luckily though, the puple banded turtle had a backup plan, starting with a rope.
So he uses it to capture the hippo mutant and start spinning him around until he got dizzy.
Giving him the opportunity of grabbing his magic stick and breaking it.
“Sorry Hypno, but show’s over for you.” Donnie said with a smug grin on his face as he crushes the wand with his bare foot.
This causes everything to revert back to normal including Donnie’s Tech-Bo Staff.
And the magician to be angry about the fact that his plans have been ruined.
“You fools always defeats me by not letting me use my hypnotism skills. And you know what that’s bad. But I’ll be back for revenge and I’m gonna make sure that you’ll be apart of it including the orange one and the red one.” Hypno said in anger as he teleports away using his magic hat.
And after he was gone, donnie sees that Leo and gone limp inside the water tank.
“Oh no.” Donnie said worriedly.
He rushes Oliver to his twin brother and sees that not only are his eyes pale but so was his skin. However he’s not looking forward to seeing his twin brother die right in front of his eyes.
“Don’t worry Nardo, I’m gonna get you out of here.” He said with a determined look on his face.
So he whacks his Tech-Bo Staff onto the glass of the tank and after a few tries, it breaks causing both him and Leo to be swept away in a wave of waters.
Out didn’t take long for donnie to get up on his feet and run towards his still limp twin brother.
After unlocking the handcuffs that frees Leo’s hands, donnie tries to wake him up.
“Come on Nardo, wake up. I took down the guy who trapped you in there, so come on wake up. Wake up? Wake up!” He yelled.
So he places 2 hands on Leo’s neck to try and feel a pulse.
Only to feel nothing.
“Nardo? Please don’t tell me that you, don’t have a pulse.”

Donnie felt like panicking right now.
His twin brother was dead. He died by the hands of their enemies.
What was he going to do now?
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
If he remembered correctly thanks to being a scientist, that the brain of a human’s body will survive without air for about 4 or 6 minutes.
Meaning that Leo is not long gone yet.
Donnie’s hope went back up.
He knew that Leo was always the medic for the brothers but now with Leo out of the commission {and dead}
It was now time for Donnie to become the medic for his twin brother.
He hopes that it wouldn’t take too long to revive Leo. Otherwise he might get brain damages.
Or even worse he might already be gone.
So Donnie forces himself to calm down and pulls out a defibrillator from his battle shell.
He hesitated at first as the thought of electrocuting his brothers really scared him including Leo.
Who was actually electrocuted by the shock collar that his twin brother gave him as a “gift” for him and their other brothers Raphael and Michelangelo.
But it’s all worth it for Leo.
So he turns on the defibrillator, letting it hum and hum and hum.
Until eventually he rubs the pads together creating a really high voltage in them.
And then he places them on Leo’s chest, as Donnie closes his eyes and waits until it was time.
“Clear!”
{ZAP!}
Leo’s body jumped up from the shock but it wasn’t enough to bring him back as the setting was lower then average.
So Donnie turns the dial up to medium and repeats the same thing again.
“Clear!”
{ZAP!!}
Again Leo jumped up but it still wasnt working.
So despite his mind protesting him, Donnie turns the dial up to the highest level.
Then he repeats the process.
By rubbing the pads, placing them onto Leo’s chest and finally closing his eyes.
He has one finally chance of reviving his twin brother.
And if it didn’t work.
Then whats the point anymore.
Donnie opens his eyes without any hesitation.
“CLEAR!”
{ZAP!!!}

{Gasp}
“Leo! Oh my god are you ok?” Donnie asked as he sees his twin brother waking up from being electrocuted.
But he didn’t respond to him.
The blue banded turtle was too busy coughing up water really painfully, to the point of Donnie rubbing his back which causes way more water to come out of his lungs.
Until after one painful minute later, Leo starts to breathe normally and sees that Donnie is ok.
“Donnie? Your still alive.” Leo said while catching his breathe.
“Yep, I am still alive.” Donnie said trying to comfort his twin.
“But I thought you died to that hippo bastard.” Leo said.
“Me too. But that’s not the point right now, the point is, that we both survived that bitch. And I promise you that when we see him again, we’re gonna beat him up really badly.” Donnie promised to Leo.
“Thanks Donnie. As after that experience, I don’t think I like magic anymore.” Leo said filled with guilt.
Donnie was shocked at what Leo said.
Ever since they were kids, he loved doing magic tricks for his brothers but because of what that hippo mutant did to him, might actually scarred him from doing some more of it in the future.
But he respects his brother’s wishes and is glad to see that Leo will be ok even though he might be traumatised from this whole experience.
After that Donnie presses the panic button on his belt so that Mikey and Raph can come to their location and take them back home.
Where they can all get into a turtle pile and comfort each other like brothers.
Then he looks at Leo who is still not ok about what happened but is happy to see that their both still alive.
“You know Donnie, maybe your right. Maybe science is superior to magic.” Leo said to his twin brother.
“Really?” Donnie asked.
“Yeah.” Leo replied.
He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. That he was right about science being superior to magic all along.
But he was too tired to thank Leo for telling him that as boy did they had a lot of traumatic experiences from it.
So they decides to stay here and take a rest while hugging each other as twins.
Waiting until Raph and Mikey shows up to take them home to get them patched up.
And comfort them as brothers.
