The Crowd could be heard cheering in the background as thousands if not millions of fans filled up the stadium arena fireworks explode in the skies above all excited for the exhibition match.
A Rotom Drone floated around as an attractive tall dark skin man with black hair and green eyes dressed in fancy grey suit with a red tie entered the stadium the man waved to the cheering on lookers "Welcome one and all"
"Our beloved Galar region is a wonderful place, with thriving nature...beautiful cities, and many Pokémon with which we share our lives! As you know, our society is able to thrive...thanks to help from these mysterious creatures that we call Pokémon. Yes, Pokémon are all around us—in the sea, in the sky, and even with us in our towns! And those of us who choose to raise and train Pokémon to do battle and compete...we call Pokémon Trainers!" His voice carried across the stadium the crowd was all fired up
"Oh! But I'm getting carried away. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rose and I am the Chairman, and it is a pleasure to be here." He smiled to the camera "But enough about that, let us tune in for what everyone is here to see! Turn your gaze to the Galar region's greatest Pokémon Trainer, your undefeated Champion...Leon!"
At this a figure ran onto the stadium, a tall young man in his mid-20's with tanned skin and wild purple hair, and instead gold eyes dressed in official League uniform with iconic cape and hat. He grinned and strikes his famous pose, the crowd went wild. This mans name was Leon, and behind the man was his Charizard who was a draconic, bipedal Pokémon. It is primarily orange with a cream underside from the chest to the tip of its tail. It has a long neck, small blue eyes, slightly raised nostrils, and two horn-like structures protruding from the back of its rectangular head. There are two fangs visible in its upper jaw when its mouth is closed. Two large wings with blue-green undersides sprout from its back, and a horn-like appendage juts out from the top of the third joint of each wing. A single wing-finger is visible through the center of each wing membrane. Its arms were short and skinny compared to its robust belly, and each limb had three white claws. It had stocky legs with cream-colored soles on each of its plantigrade feet. The tip of its long, tapering tail burns with a sizable flame.
"And facing off against our champion, our very own Hammerlocke City gym leader, master of the dragon types! Raihan" Rose commentated to the crowd.
If the crowd wasn't wild and hyped before it was now as another young man in his mid-20s entered the stadium a tanned skin attractive feral with black and intense teal blue eyes, wearing a orange and black like jacket, He gave a lip curled grin showing off his fanged teeth, "Exhibition or not, Leon, your pristine record is about to end—when I beat you here today" He roared, his loyal Pokrmon a Duraludon which was a tall bipedal dinosaur-like Pokémon with large feet, a chunky tail, and a head integrated to its neck. Its body is mainly light gray and dark blue, with zigzag patterns running down its body, gray bands around its arms, and two black slits on its lower chest. Its hands have four triangular indents. Duraludon's head had a small red section and multiple slits on it. It also has yellow eyes with green pupils, and it appears to be permanently scowling. It moves its upper jaw when opening its mouth.
Leon just gave a smirk "You know I don't lose battles, Raihan!" He shouted to his friend and rival before grinning "Charizard! Dynmax"
The crowd watched in awe and excitement as Charizard grew to a even larger size and changed shape..
The scenery changed to a new day, in the small farm town of Post-wick, a Wooloo which was black bovine Pokémon with a thick coat of white wool that makes it look spherical. Its small head pokes out of the front of the wool, along with two short horns. the Wooloo's eyes had yellow sclerae, black irises, and white, horizontal pupils. Two large ears are visible behind gray strings of wool that resemble braided pigtails. Wooloo's wool covered its entire body and most of its short hooved legs, along with a tail that is barely visible on its rear end.
A few were grazing in the fields, a boy was seen running up the pathway to a house and enter it. Inside the fairly nice country style house, A girl of 16 was seated on the couch in the living room, laying down she held her Rotom phone watching the exhibition match from last night.
This was Delta Shield a pretty girl, with long haired honey blonde with fair skin and ultramarine blue eyes eyes, she was dressed in light blue denim trousers and a urban smog t-shirt. "Delta!" The boy from earlier shouted entering the room as he loomed over the girl with a grin "Oh! thats your flesh new phone, Delta?"
"Yes Hop" She said with a raised brow looking up at him, He was a tall boy of 16 with purple hair and yellow eyes, he was smiling "Were you watching Lee's exhibition match on it? But you can't cheer him on with your hands full! You know the only way to properly cheer on Lee would be with his famous Charizard pose!" He said and did the pose, Delta gave a small smile at her friends hyperactive nature
"Hop, its barely 9 am. We talked about this remember" she mused as he blushed forgetting that before 9 am Delta was a very relaxed girl and couldn't handle hyperness till she had at lease one cup of coffee, she loved her friend but he could be a bit much
"Come on Delta! Lee is coming home today and Lee always brings presents when he visit, When your ready come to mind" and with that he was off and out the door. Delta sat up and stretched "Was that Hop?" her mother asked amused "Its the big day isn't?"
Delta stood up putting the phone away, she headed for the kitchen where her mother was seated doing a crossword puzzle "Yep" the girl said and grabbed a mug from the cupboard before making herself a coffee, she enjoyed the bitter drink "I'm gonna be heading off mum, Hop as you might of heard wants to go welcome Leon home" Delta said and her mother chuckled "Alright dear, I'll be over later. Hop's mother invited us to dinner"
Delta finished her brewed drink feeling the warmth spread through her body, she placed the mug in the sink and gave the thumbs before going to her room, once in she grabbed her bag and put on her shoes, On her wall was Raihan poster. She like a few others had a huge crush on the guy, she blushed and shook her head
"Better not keep Hop waiting"
With a last goodbye Delta was out the door and down the path leading towards Hop's house. But was surprised to see Hop and his companion Wooloo at the end of her pathway "I thought you're heading home?" she asked as she neared him,
"Hahahaha! have a look at you, Delta. that old bag looks like it could pull down~"he teased and Delta rolled her eyes and took a mock swipe at him "Hash you" Hop dodged and snickered "and to answer your question, I was but one of the Wooloos were acting strange" and Delta looked over
Her blue eyes watched curious as a Wooloo rolled into a ball and then smacked itself into the gate that generally stayed locked as the path lead to the Slumbering Weald which was generally off limits to the public.
"Stop that, no bad sheep. stop using tackle" Hop warned and The Wooloo just baaed at the loud purple two leg but stopped and Delta chuckled, Hop nodded "Good, hey Delta! lets race to my place. Last one there is a rotten egg" Hop challenged and ran off with his loyal Wooloo rolling after him.
The blonde girl looked towards the looming mass of trees, she felt a strange wave of chill wash over her and her brow frowned, she had no clue what that just was but she wouldn't let Hop beat her. So pushing the thoughts away she ran down the path and headed for Hop's house.
