Being a huge introvert, you often find places to calm down and avoid hurting people.
After what happened, they call you the hero of bird island. However, without your friend's efforts, you are practically nothing.
You suffered from suicidal ideation since young, all those suffocating memories still stuck in your head. In the meantime, You have your best friends for life, a supportive teacher and the community finally respects you as a person.
You finally reached to your destination, this is one of your favorite spots.
A place surrounded with nature, water gently splashes against the rocks, only birds are accompanying you. You sit down and close your eyes, hearing the waters, the gentle breeze... You really hope it stays forever. Especially, it heals you.
When closing your eyes, you slowly vision a certain man in your head.
A Headband wraps around his golden yellow hair, most of them are short, only black ones goes down to his shoulders. His muscular arms...…
His broad chest, always puff up with confidence. His emerald green eyes sparkled whatever he shows his goofy smile. Never running out of energy with his optimistic attitude...…
You can feel your cheeks getting hot.
You remember his therapeutic laughter, his stupid but funny jokes.
You remember his loyalty oath to you. You want to stay with him. He's the best gift from the above.
That's when you open your eyes, feeling something streaming down from your face.
You cried silently whatever you think of him.
You can't stop thinking about Chuck.
This is truly a dilemma, this yellow haired human loves to joke around and take most of the things lightly. However, when you and him are alone, he was the most attentive person ever, not once he is not paying attention.
You tried to hold back sobs when looking at the sea.
You feel vulnerable.
Because you feel like you're not good enough for a great person like him..
"Red?"
A similar voice calls out to you, turning quickly to see your best friend approaches you slowly.
You quickly wipe your tears.
"WH- How the heck did you find me in here?! This is my hiding spot! " You questioned as he sits next to you.
"What? I'm not allowed to be in here? Hm~?" He teased, following up with a smile.
Your face was SO red and had to turn away.
"Fine... I've been watching you go through this certain path numerous times, it took me a few times because I often forget which one." Chuck answered as he looked around. "The view is very nice in here though..." You can feel him mumbling.
Your face was really red and it won't fade away. It took you a few minutes to think.
"When did you discover this spot?" Chuck asked, still admiring the ocean in front of them.
"About... A.. A month ago." You replied softly. "It was well-hidden, so it took me some time to remember, anddddd.... then you found it as well." You said sarcastically before gently punching his shoulder.
"Come on now we are besties, besties stay together right?" Chuck giggled, you chuckled.
"Yeah yeah, of course.." You replied, looking at the ocean once again.
Chuck slowly turns to your direction. Your face, mixing with the sunset, eyes seems to have light because of the nature.
Chuck smiled softly. The man in front of him is adorable.
"Although uhm.. Red? S-since... We are alone uhm..."
You let out a hum. "Yeah? What's up?"
"U..uh...Uhm.." Chuck becomes very nervous, he slowly fiddles his fingers. You noticed his face was red.
You gently tilted your head. "Take your time. Chuck." You said quietly.
"Re..Red, I can't stop.. how can I say this.. I can't stop.. thinking about you. You have been in my head for a while now." Chuck seems to gain his confidence slowly.
Chuck reached out to both of your hands. "I want.. I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY TIME WITH YOU!! " He said clearly with determination, his hand shakes violently. "WILL YOU BE MINE?"
You are in complete shock about the whole situation, you feel tears going down from your face a few seconds later as you begin to sob.
Chuck seems to panic when he sees you crying. "Red...RED?! Are you okay?! "
You tried to hold back tears, "Chuck..."
"Yeah?"
"I.. couldn't stop thinking about you too... I will let me be yours.."
You feel Chuck's nervousness fades away, his face instantly filled with joy. "WHAT? YOU LIKE ME TOO?!"
You covered your ears as Chuck seems to know how loud he was. "Not so loud....!" You said softly.
Chuck can't stop giggling like a child. He seems to be overjoyed.
You feel he slowly takes your hand once again, your eyes is just enough to look at the man in front of you.
Chuck closes the gap, giving you a tender kiss. You wanted this moment to stay forever.
This is, your first kiss.
A few seconds later, both of you pulled away.
You feel your face heats up immediately.
"I.. please keep a secret for now." You said to Chuck, receiving a laughter back.
"Absolutely, my prince.."
