Chapter Text
Buttercup loaded the last box of their belongings into the trunk of their car. She closed the trunk, turning around and leaning her back onto the car.
She didn't dare look at the house she once called home, not without feeling that dreading feeling of loss in her chest.
"Are we ready to go?" Blossom walked up to Buttercup, lightly squeezing her shoulder. Bubbles came out of the house last, her face held traces of tears.
Blossom looked back to their house. "Yeah, I think so.."
A click of heels were heard and the girls looked towards Mrs. Bellum who was walking over to them.
"Oh girls.." She wrapped them up in her arms, all of them somehow awkwardly squishing together in the hug. "I wish things were different. I just know the Professor would be so proud of you." She let go of them, gently drying her own eyes.
"I wish you didn't have to leave, But I know that where you girls will be going, will be lucky to have you."
Blossom smiled up at her. "Thank you, and if you ever need help with anything, you can always call us." Blossom said. The monster attacks barely happened anymore maybe once in a blue moon, If anything the girls had more calls for monster attacks outside of townsville.
"Go along now girls, I don't wanna hold you up." She brought them all in for one more hug before letting them get in their car. "Also, Buttercup, I had your Motorcycle taken to the school already, its in the parking lot. Lot 1, number thirty-seven and the car is in the same lot, number thirty-eight."
"Thanks, you're the best." Buttercup muttered, given a smile to the tall woman. Buttercup started up the car, Blossom looked out at the woman from the passenger seat one last time, and right behind her, her childhood home.
"We'll see you again soon, Mrs. Bellum." Bubbles offered. The woman smiled at her, gently patting her cheek through the back window.
"Let me know when you girls get there" Mrs. Bellum sighed heavily, and moved away from the car. "Bye, girls. I hope to see you again under better circumstances very soon."
The girls said their goodbyes, leaving the woman to walk back to her own car silently before starting it up and heading out.
Everyone was silent for a few minutes, lost in their own thoughts. They looked at their home, the multicoloured windows, each depicting their own rooms. Before their house had meaning to them, a sense home, now it was just a bunch of walls put together to hold old memories.
"Let's go girls, its time to change things up." Blossom said, her voice slightly Shakey near the ends.
Buttercup drove them away, away from home.
Bubbles took one last look at their house, it just didn't feel like home anymore, not without him.

Buttercup put the car in park, her hands tightly gripping onto the steering wheel. They had finally arrived in Vena and Buttercup wanted to leave already.
The whole four hour ride here, They all stayed silent aside from Blossom telling her directions or Bubbles silently talking to Blossom.
Her sisters liked the idea of starting new, Buttercup hated it. She wanted to go home, to hug professo-
No, she couldn't think like that, not now at least In front of her sisters.
Vena academy was this prestigious private school. It went from students going in for undergrad, what they were doing, all the way to their selected majors. Right now they didn't have to worry about that.
Buttercup waited for the gates to the school to open. The large black gates opened with a noise. Buttercup drove into the lot and for the first time they cast their eyes onto their place of residence.
It was a large off-white building with what must be thousands of windows. Multiple building scattered around their grounds what must be for different classes, a huge field they passed as they headed down to the Parking lot. The sun cast a large shadow behind the building and the girls were at loss of words.
Buttercup looked in the mirror to see Bubbles smiling widely, though it was still tainted at the edges, Blossom wore a similar expression. No doubt because of the eye widening building.
As she drove the car down, she found her motorcycle parked right where Mrs, bellum said it would be. She parked the car, unlocking the doors and getting out to pop her back.
Oh how she wished she could fly here instead of drive, Blossom insisted it was best if they kept their powers on the downlow, though Buttercup highly doubts that nobody would recognize crime fighting triplets from the city over.
She opened her truck and hauled out her and her sisters suitcases and bags.
Bubbles grabbed her quickly and started making her way to the entrance to the lobby from the parking.
"Come on, Buttercup." Blossom said, grabbing her own bags and running after Bubbles. She sighed through her nose, slamming her trunk shut and locking her car. With a deep breath she grabbed her stuff and followed after her two sisters.
Vena Academy was as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside, the halls decorated in burgendy and golden. They walked into an elevator that lead them to the ground floor where the Principal would be waiting for them.
"This place is amazing.." Bubbles muttered as she walked out into the lobby with a 'ding' from the elevator. Large chandeliers hung from the ceilings with portraits of most likely important people to the school's history.
"This place sucks." Buttercup muttered, earning a look from Blossom.
"Stop being negative, its what we have so deal with it, Buttercup. This is so much more then what people get, be grateful." With that the Redhead strutted down the hall leaving the middle sister to glare after her.
Ever since the passing of the professor Blossom and her relationship got even worse then it had been before. Buttercup wanted to scream, but she bit her lip and continued forward.
The seemingly endless hallway stretched out to the end and eventually they made it to the office with one too many wrong turns.
Blossom took a deep breath before knocking on the door. She turned her head slightly to look at her sisters. "Best behaviours, girls" turning her head back right on time as the door opened to reveal a middle aged woman. Her hair was tied back in a slick bun and the clothes she wore were business casual, she stared down at them from her nose, her head held high.
"You must be the Powerpuff girls." she sniffed slightly, her voice sounded smooth yet strong. "Come in, I've been expecting you."
Blossom looked back at her sisters once more in warning before walking in herself, she left her belongings on the left of the door, her sisters following her before taking a seat infront of the mahogany desk.
The principle sat with her back straight and hands clasped Infront of her. "My name is Principal Sinclair" she paused for a second before continuing "I've heard great things about you three, I would hope I wasn't misinformed?"
Blossom put on her best smile."Of course not, My name is Blossom, This is Bubbles to my right and Buttercup to my left. I wish we came here under better circumstances, but my sisters and I are thrilled to be here." Bubbles at least put on a smile for show on the last bit, Buttercup didn't even bother.
The woman studied them for a minute, then "Good, I was also informed you three are supers, you have been saving your city from these monster attacks."
"We have been ever since we were kids, I must warn you that If one does occur then we have to be able to leave school ground no matter the time or place." The principal once again thought that over.
It was reasonable and it wasn't as if she could stop three supers and potentially cause multiple deaths and injuries of innocent civilians if they weren't there to save them.
"Understandable. However there are some rules we will have to discuss."
Blossom tilted her head, urging her to continue.
"I only have a few rules for this school, One, we have a curfew. If you are not in your dorms by midnight, you will be brought to my office and the consequences are not to be taken lightly. Two, if you are caught in the opposites genders room, the same measures will apply." She leaned forward a bit "and the last is specifically for supers, There will be no use of your powers to manipulate, hurt, or even so as much as change your grade in my school." She leaned back. "understood?"
Blossom looked at her sisters, both looking a bit annoyed at the powers rule. "Understood."
The principal reached in her desk, pulling out sets of keycards. "Here you are, Blossom you will be sharing a room with another student, her name is Leah. Bubbles and Buttercup, you will be sharing a dorm with one another" She handed the girls their own sets of keycards for their rooms.
Sinclair stood up from her chair and walked around to the door. "You're dorms are on the 17th floor on the second building from this one on your left." The girls rushed to grab their things and headed outside the door.
"Thank you for your help-" Blossom started, but the door was shut on her face without another word.
"What a bitch." Buttercup muttered, Bubbles silently laughing along. Blossom rolled her eyes before leading her sisters out towards their dorms.
Buttercup missed Townsville.
