Chapter Text
“He is evil incarnate! Krell will kill us all if we don’t stop him!” Fives ranted on while the troopers around him having gathered to listen to the words sounding truer and truer each passing moment they were spending on the planet.
“Hear hear!” The crowd cheered Fives.
“We should do something before it’s too late!” Fives was on fire now, seeing the gleam in his fellow clones eyes.
“Kill him!” The crowd responded.
Indeed it was kind of a way out there suggestion truth being told. The ‘kill the General’.
But then again Krell had no qualms in using the clone troopers as cannon fodder so there was that to consider. His actions having spoken volumes for the dedicated soldiers.
Krell, was pure evil personified without a doubt.
Leaving the one question hanging in the air: how Krell had managed to fool the Jedi Council in the first place. As the clone troopers had all seen it. How twisted of a world view the General had. For the clones, the war, their plans, everything related to the mission having gone wrong from get go.
And so, before the General could be able do any more damage to the mission, the troopers had all managed to gang together to stop him. The truth was there right in front of their very eyes. They had a madman on their hands and something needed to be done to stop him.
They all felt it was their duty to do so. And so, the plan was set into motion.
But killing a Jedi? Well, it was a tad too much for them all, no matter what Krell had done.
“Capture of Krell should be sufficient enough. We should leave him to the Jedi to deal with.” Surprisingly it was Fives was in favour of a more, well humane solution.
“I’m with Fives.” Echo’s voice of reason boomed over the murmuring crowd.
“We should set a trap for him.” Waxer suggested liking Fives’ idea more than the killing suggestion thrown up in the air. Waxer having been listening to the comments with Boil on his side like always, ready to pounce though, whatever the troopers decide upon.
“You have a suggestion then trooper?” Rex was fully onboard on the clones mutiny, having gotten enough of Krell and his pompous and murderous ways.
“Well, nothing concrete yet but I’m sure between myself, Boil, Fives and Echo we can cook up a plan to catch the Jedi redhanded.” Waxer was glad to have Rex on their side, the Captain not having needed too much in convincing, siding with his troops rather than the General.
“Alrighty then! You four get to work, the rest of us will keep the General busy.” Rex gave the order.
“Thanks Cap’n.” Waxer and Fives taking the lead while Echo and Boil followed the two suit. After all, they had a Jedi General to fool, not an easy task, but they were confident they would figure out a way to do so.
