Lot of people have given unjust flak to MK1 and much justified criticism to Sweet Baby’s Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. And with WB Discovery wanting to make all their games online accessible, I’d suggest a cross promotion to these two games we’re saddled with for the foreseeable future.
My idea being, a season of DC. This would expand the roster by giving us 8, count them 8, more playable characters from the SS:KTJL game. They, of course, being Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, the brainwashed Flash, John Stewart, Batman and Superman. All eight characters that are more violent in their own games continuity, allowing for everyone to preform a fatality and brutality without ruining their image.
In addition, we’d have an Invasion mode where Brainiac threatens the realms. Bringing over a stage for Metropolis that’s in the midst of the invasion and its parallel Earth 2 wasteland version. As well as a Wonder Woman skin for Ashrah, Static Shock for Raiden and Deathstroke for Kenshi, just for sick kicks.
In return, SS: oh-who-cares-about-the-name-anymore would be given a Black Dragon pack for future seasons as well. Allowing players to play as Kano, Erron Black, Kabal, and Tremor.
I’m not going to lie. I won’t under any circumstances play the Squad game, but I do want these characters in MK1. It’d also be a good way to test the waters for a new Injustice or MK Vs DCU. I enjoyed that original MK Vs DCU back in the day and I’m certain I’m not the only one who was introduced to Mortal Kombat through it.
