I need your help. I'm in love with a girl, and she rejects me in favor of a killer monster. How do I get her to be with me?

Hey, Marginal Reddit! I need to vent and tell you about my situation with Wendy (16F) because I really need your help to understand and figure out what to do.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Xander (17M), a guy with a somewhat peculiar story. I'm the son of a world-famous psychic, which should be relevant, but really isn't. Anyway, let's talk about Wendy, a girl I've been drooling over since we were kids. I met her at my godmother's funeral, where I ended up trapped inside a coffin, and she, in an act of "heroism," rescued me. Since then, I've been in love with her and with the idea that she and I could have something special.

But, oh, surprise, when I finally had the chance to get close to her last year, it turns out Wendy is colder than the North Pole and crueler than a movie villain. She has these weird and creepy tastes that make you wonder if she's a bit unhinged, but being the hopeless romantic that I am, I thought I could change her because who needs consent when you have a love mission, right?

The problem doesn't end there, my friends. It turns out Wendy has eyes for another guy, whom I'll call Tyson (17M), a "normie" whom I really can't stand. This guy not only destroyed my art mural at school but also follows Wendy around like a lapdog. I can't even go to the dance in peace without him lurking around!

In an unexpected twist of events, I found myself being blamed for the murders that shocked our community. The accusations against me landed me straight in jail, only to later discover that the true monster behind all this was none other than Tyson. It turns out this guy, far from being a "normie," was a ruthless Hyde who had been awakened and manipulated by Laurel Gates, who was hiding under the identity of Marilyn Thornhill, a botany science teacher.

What shocked me the most wasn't just the revelation of Tyson's true identity, but also the cruel abuse and manipulation he suffered at the hands of Laurel Gates. Although some might argue that Tyson's traumatic past could justify his actions, to me, it remains deplorable. No matter what circumstances led him to become what he is, he's still a scumbag.

Although Tyson was ultimately jailed, I hoped that with his departure, the dark shadow he had cast over Wendy and me would dissipate. However, reality proved to be much more complicated, as Wendy continued to cling to his presence in some way. Even though justice has been served, the damage done and Tyson's influence still weigh heavily on us, and I find myself struggling to understand how to move forward amidst this chaos.

In a desperate attempt to get her attention, I decided to give her a cell phone so we could stay in touch during the holidays. However, to my dismay, she didn't even bother to respond to my messages.

After feeling ignored and disheartened, I made an even bigger mistake by thinking that harassing her could be an effective way to impress her. I started sending her threatening messages for weeks, convinced that this would make her notice and appreciate me in some way. But to my surprise, even that didn't work.

And you know what's most confusing about all this? I've realized that she has an attraction to really disturbing and sinister things. It seems that the bloodier and crueler something is, the more in love she is. She's even shown affection for someone as dark as Tyson, a true homicidal monster!

So here I am, completely baffled. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I capture her attention the way these dark and dangerous characters do? Is there something I'm overlooking or some different way I should approach this situation?

And to top it all off, when we returned to school, Wendy went back to clinging to Tyson as if he were her damn shadow. Even after everything that happened, she just forgave and forgot him. Can you believe it? And when I tried to talk to her and make her see how terrible her decision was, she insulted me and punched me, leaving me with a broken nose. And to top it off, that bastard Tyson threatened to kill me if I ever came near Wendy again.

Now I'm here, in the infirmary, wondering what the hell I did wrong to deserve all this. Help me, Marginal Reddit, please!
