Roman stared at Yuzo.. and someone else he doesn't care to learn the name of. He was on the other side of the street, and somehow Yuzo hadn't noticed him. Too distracted I guess. He scoffed, why is he even annoyed? He's been rejecting Yuzo for months now, why does he care if he found someone new? He should be happy.
Roman didn't go undetected for long though, soon enough Yuzo spotted him, then crossed the street to greet him.
"Hey, Roman," He said. Roman muttered a greeting in response, before looking to the person next to Yuzo. "Oh! This is Mika, I didn't introduce you to them yet,"
"Hm, nice.. to meet you" Roman said quietly, not trying to be off-putting, but failing (considering he's like 6'6). Mika chuckled a bit, nervously
"Yeah, uh, nice to meet you too," she muttered. Then Roman sighed before looking to Yuzo.
"Well, I have places to be, I'll.. leave you two to it," He said, before swiftly turning the other way and walking off. He didn't even have anywhere he needed to go, he just wanted out of that situation.

A few days later Roman was in a coffee shop, just sitting at one of the tables, then Yuzo walked in, and sat down across from him.
"Hey I saw you through the window and thought I'd come say hi," he began.
"Well you did. Unless you have something else to say?" Roman responded lethargically, barely looking up at him. Yuzo squinted his eyes at him.
"Look, what has been your problem recently? Have I done something wrong??" he demanded, glaring at Roman.
"What, I thought you were over me already, are you not?"
"Are you talking about Mika? He's just a friend. Actually, even if they weren't, wouldn't that be good? I'm not pining for you anymore,"
"You know what? The only reason I kept you around is to not hurt you. Now that you have someone else, you can go to them instead, I'm not needed anymore" Roman growled, "you can leave now." Roman watched Yuzo's face, looking for a reaction. But Yuzo kept his cool. "Good to know," he said simply, before standing up, turning around, and leaving. Roman stood there, a bit shocked, he just.. left? Like that? Was Roman nothing to him now?
He decided to go home, back to a dingy little apartment uptown. Death himself can't even afford anything good apparently. He walked into his apartment and collapsed into the couch. He turned on the TV and watched whatever shitty reality show was on, and he tried to forget what happened.
