Chapter Text
Finally, he made it. He made it to heaven thanks to Lilith. But he wasn’t here to gaze at the scenery. He, the first man Adam was here to show that they can redeem sinners with his girlfriend Lute.
Adam and Lute are currently walking around heaven, mainly because Adam wanted to see if they had any cool new rock bands playing, turns out there aren’t any.
Lute and Adam notice that some of the people are looking at them. For the younger angels, it’s out of curiosity, but for the older angels, it’s confusion about why two fallen angels are in heaven right now.
Finding out about the annual genocide changed a lot for the worse, like how Lute and Adam were now fallen angels and now live in hell. But it did bring some good, like how Adam found his kids again, Abel and Cain. And he was able to find the Rocktel, or what Sir Pentious changed it to, the Hazbintel.
Adam and Lute finally make it to the front doors of the trial room.
Adam and Lute look at each other. Lute looked surprisingly more nervous than Adam.
“Are you ready sir?
“Fuck yeah! Let’s do this!”
Adam's voice is filled with excitement yet nervousness as he makes his “lets rock” symbol. Lute smiles and nods. Lute and Adam walk into the courtroom and go to their stand. Soon the room fills with different seraphim with the two most important up at the top, the older, ‘fun-loving’ and kind Emily and the younger, more serious Sera.
Sera gently smiles, less as wide as the one she had when Adam and Lute first appeared back at the gates.
The last people to come in fill Adam and Lute with anger and annoyance, the princess of hell herself, Charlie Morningstar, and Vaggie her angel girlfriend. Adam doesn't know why Charlie wants to kill her own people so badly. But the most likely reason is to get back at her dad, Lucifer, who used to be obsessed with hell and spent much more time ruling it rather than with Charlie or Lilith. And then he just disappeared 7 years ago. Leaving hell with a depressed Queen and a genocidal princess.
Adam groans as he looks at Charlie and Vaggie with annoyance.
“Ugh, not those fuckers.”
“Yeah…”
Adam sees the panic on Lute’s face.
“Bro, Lute you alright?”
“Y-Yes sir…”
Adam knew Lute wasn’t, but he didn’t push it
And so the trial starts…
