Case File 1: Friday, September 29, 1865 - Brant Baruch Virgo, Reynard Ivan Humphrey, Alecia Crystal Underwood, and Pru Linwood North
Patients arrived at 09:00 at Holloway Sanatorium. Pictures were taken and will be attached to the individual case files. For now, this file will track their interactions with each other.
The first patients entered the Sanatorium. Brant led the way, by far the most willing patient. Alecia followed, hesitant but desperate for help. Her eyes wandered, warily surveying the building. She knew what this place would become.
Reynard and Pru were both being guided by doctors. Reynard was muttering something about one thousand eyes, and Pru was attempting to bite the doctor holding her.
Otherwise, everyone was quiet. The group was led to get pictures taken for their files, and once those were taken, they were led to the cafeteria. All four of them were sat around a circular table and left to talk. As the doctors left the room, they locked the doors. The patients had no escape route.
The doctors watched everything on the cameras. The patients sat in silence for a moment. Brant was the first to speak up.
“So, how about we all go around the table, say our names, how old we are, and which Lord has affected us. I’ll go first. I’m Brant Virgo, I’m 21, and I’m a servant of both Pokey and Wiggly.”
Reynard stared down at the table, barely managing to get the words out. “Reynard… Humphrey… 17… B-b-bliklotep…”
“I’m Alecia Underwood, and physically I’m 22. I don’t know how old I really am since being in Tinky’s box, although considering I come from 2021, well… I probably shouldn’t even exist here, but here I am. And I can tell you all now, we need to get out of here as fast as we can.”
“Already planning on it,” Pru spoke up, wiping blood away from her mouth. She had actually managed to bite the doctor after pictures were taken. “I’m Pru North, 19, servant of Nibbly and member of the Church of the Starry Children. They practically sold me to this place in a deal that’s gonna shoot our whole way of living in the foot as time goes on.” She rolled her eyes, already desperate to get out.
Brant looked around. “Are there any other patients here, do you think?”
“Nope. There won’t be any patients here for another three weeks. They’re experimenting on us to see how treatment works before they open the doors to the masses.”
“You seem to really know what you’re talking about.”
“Well, your lives were pretty well-documented, at least from what I saw. The case files should all be in a book in the library someday. I happened to find them while another boy was in. I hope he ends up okay.”
“Aww, he should be fine! This place doesn’t seem that bad!”
“It’s not yet.” Alecia fiddled with the gold chain around her neck. “It gets worse in the future. I just won’t say how bad it gets.”
The doctors interfered at that point. “Alright, let’s get the patients to their rooms.”
Each of the patients were led away, some needing more doctors than others to get them to their rooms. The doors were locked, and everyone was alone.
Case File 1: Friday, September 29, 1865 - Brant Baruch Virgo, Reynard Ivan Humphrey, Alecia Crystal Underwood, and Pru Linwood North
Patients were sat around a table in the Sanatorium cafeteria. The doors were locked so they couldn’t escape. Brant and Alecia proved to be intelligent and could form strong conversations. Therapy will be the best route going forward.
Pru made conversation for a bit but it didn’t last for long. She seems most focused on escape, closely followed by Alecia.
Reynard seems to be completely braindead. He will have to be put on medication right away.
Patients have been put to bed. We now move onto the individual case files.
