> SATOSUGU !
"a balance between two opposites with a portion of the opposite element in each section". that's the ideology behind ying and yang; no matter how different you are with them, they will always be the missing half to yours
ying was the darker half of the completed whole; more dark, introverted and calm. ying was the tranquilizer for yang, the lighter half of the whole; more bright, extroverted and carefree. so different, yet so similar at the same time. that was how a perfect, stable whole was formed. at that time when the concept of 'opposites attract' came to light in society, it immediately grew attention of the public
in conclusion, ying and yang was known as the two perfect halves for each other, but what happens if one of them started to crack?
there wasn't any legend, any myth or tale of one of the two destined halves slowly falling apart from each other because it was simply not possible
right?
heavily injured from his fight with yuta okkotsu and trying to limp his way out, suguru saw who was in front of him before weakly smirking. the entire right side of his body has been nearly destroyed, his right arm gone as his left hand was trying to stop the bleeding.
"you're late again as usual, satoru" suguru said while proceeding to lay his injured body on the wall. satoru didn't have his bandages on, revealing his blue eyes. "the ones in kyoto, they were under your command?" he asked, not making his sentence sound like a question cause he already knew the answer to it. "yes, they all were" suguru confirmed with his weak smirk still on his lips. "no matter what anyone tells you, i hate those monkeys"
his grip onto his wound tightened. "but i never held any hatred for those in jujutsu high school" he clarified, his smirk now gone as his voice was now just a weak whisper. it was true, everyone in jujutsu high school actually made his life more bearable
but it wasn't enough for things to end like this
weakly and slowly, suguru's left hand went from his injured wound to his pocket to pull out yuta's student id card that he recently stole from the kid and tossing to to satoru, who caught it immediately. "return this for me, will you?" suguru said while satoru glanced at the id card. "was the elementary school your doing too?" satoru asked
"it was, you sent those two assuming that i defeat them didn't you?"
suguru's words made satoru tug the student id card in his pocket to look at him before he responded. "i trusted that you'd be yourself; trusted that a man as principled as you wouldn't kill off any young sorcerers without a reason." his words made that smirk come back onto suguru's lips before he spoke. "im a kind person, unlike you satoru"
satoru's gaze hardened even more. "to think, you'd be the one here at my end" suguru continued. "are you going to make sure my family is safe?"
"every last one of them managed to escape to safety" satoru responded. his voice sounded tired, guilty and even pain from how things turned out over the past few years till now. from goofing around jujutsu high school to having no choice but to kill suguru, the half that has always completed him for many years
the ying to his yang
"suguru" he called out his name, in which suguru weakly turned his head towards him, on the verge of death.
"tell me, do you have any last words?"
he wanted suguru to stop him from what he was about to do to, satoru wanted anyone to stop him from killing suguru as memories of him, suguru and shoko flooded back to his brain. but he knew that wouldn't happen, that he had to kill him. "i dont think i had any of that left in me after everything i've been through" suguru confessed
satoru walked towards him and kneeled down suguru's level, his blue eyes boring into suguru's weak ones, the same ones that would turn lifeless soon.
inaudibly, he said his last words to suguru, words that he wished he would have said sooner if he knew that this would happen. his words made suguru's eyes widen from how unexpected it was, causing him to smile and even chuckle. "the least you could do is hit me with some curses"
those were his last words before satoru took his life away, the last words from the only person who truly understood satoru gojo and the last words from his friend, his best friend
ying and yang were now separate, floating away from each other with one of them even gone. that myth about the two halves was slowly becoming true in the eyes of satoru gojo
the ying to his yang was indeed, gone
