The very first time he saw her, she seemed oddly detached from the world. She was in the middle of the street, her gaze glued to a kind of flower bed which seemed to delight her.
A smile upon her lips, big blue eyes open with surprise, she was looking at something in the middle of the plants without caring about people’s surprised gaze. She leaned forward, opening her mouth with fascination, and one of her long lock of pale gray hair fell from her shoulder and swung a little before she replaced it behind her ear distractedly.
He looked at her a little longer that he should have. Maybe it was kind of creepy, but he had a feeling that she was important, and his heart felt strange. It was pleasant.
She was wearing a kind of white and brown cardigan, a cream-colored skirt, and a pair of white long socks put inside some little brown ballerinas. She exhaled an impression of infinite tenderness, and all he could do was looking from the opposite side of the street.
The sun was illuminating her, creating something like a halo around her, and her hair were full of colorful reflects.
Him, he was a few meters away from her, fascinated. He has been here for at least ten minutes, not really knowing why, but it was like his feet couldn’t move anymore. He would have liked to come closer, to see what was catching her attention this much, but he was afraid of distract her.
And in fact, looking at her from here, etching the picture of this stranger in his mind a few minutes more wasn’t as bad as he thought.
