A few days had passed since the battle between the exorcists and the Hazbin Hotel that had left the masses of Hell shocked and some now confident that angels can be harmed and killed using angelic weapons. Carmilla Carmine's business began getting orders from all across Hell and soon almost every demon tried to get their hands on these fine crafted weapons. A woman, who was wearing a black wide-brimmed fedora that covered her face, was walking through the destruction that was left of the battle at midnight. She appeared to be searching for something or someone amongst the dead angels, cannibals and debris, after searching for a few hours, she found him in a crater bleeding to death in a pool of his own blood. The lady slowly and carefully slid into the crater approaching the First man, Adam.

She saw his demise Live on her phone but she had confirm his death for her plans to proceed any further, She slowly began to turn him around on his back and after a few tries was successfully able to, "He's really let himself go after Heaven, huh." she whispered chuckling at the thought of the cautious man eating without a care, she wanted to place her ear on his chest to check for a pulse but simply shook her head, no one can survive such a attack as she tried to get up when she heard the first man whisper "...Eve..." the lady was shocked, not only was he alive and endured a full day of blood lose but he whispered a name that she hadn't heard in many millennia.

'Eve', a name she left behind in the name of revenge on those who wronged her, the Morningstar family especially that retched couple Lucifer and Lilith. 'Eve' 's blood boiled with hate, with the need to cover her very hands with the Demonic couple's blood and relish in their screams as they had her and Adam, she plot to kill them when they were at their weakest and she had found their weakness, Charlie Morningstar, but she didn't have the heart to kill her and besides she wasn't as low as Lilith or Lucifer to go after someone's child. So she waited for them to enjoy life as family and when their game of house ends as Charlie reaches adulthood she would finish them in front of her just like they did with Able and now all that remained of Eve was Roo.

Roo was snapped out of her thought as she saw Adam's wings wilt and turn to dust and soon light enveloped him, but what happened next shocked her even more. Instead of dying, he transformed into...A HUMAN! "What the fuck!?" Roo cursed as she witnessed the most absurd thing in history! Adam fell and he wasn't reincarnated as a sinner or something similar but a fucking human!! God was unfair! How could Adam not die of angelic weapons but also reincarnate as a human. Roo was furious, this ruined her chances of bringing Lilith down to Hell but also the possibility of her enacting revenge! she had to kill Adam. Roo looked at the man but this time more carefully, dressed in a white full arm shirt buttoned half way and black slacks, his wounds had healed, his hair was longer traveling till his neck and he looked fit losing his dad bod not that she minded it... , Eve was blushing as she saw her Hus-No, no , No! Eve was dead and Roo is the only who remained thirsting for revenge. She looked at Adam but this time with a cold resolve her nails elongated and soon she raised her hand to kill him for a final time, with all her hatred and anger she lowered her hand with lighting speed.

Adam's smiling face flashed before her eyes and her dagger sharp nails stopped above his neck only grazing it slightly, She began chuckling which transformed into a full blown laughter from insanity and suddenly she screamed in frustration and she was afraid of this! Afraid she couldn't suppress Eve completely for her to kill Adam in the worst case scenario and now all her desires of revenge shattered just like when she bit that fruit dooming humanity to this, she cried "Why? why couldn't I just die in peace on earth without this whole Heaven and Hell non-sense? Why did I bite that fucking fruit!! I had one job and I couldn't do even that right!! I am worthless!" tears spilled from her eyes and a stray tear fell on Adam's face. "...Eve, don't cry...I am here for you..." he mumbled in his sleep, Eve smiled fondly at him how could she forget when he found out she ate the forbidden fruit, he willing took a bite from it as well to make sure she wouldn't endure the Council's punishment alone, sadly he chocked on it and she had to help him spit it out but the thought counts right?

Eve was combing and playing with Adam's hair when she heard a Radio static but her eyes never left Adam's face and only looked up when she heard someone clear their throat to see the Radio Demon smiling at her menacingly and his eyes twitching, she simply ignored him and resumed playing around with her husband's hair. "I am sorry, My Dear! To disturb your reunion with your beloved but-" Eve cut him off "I am not in the mood to listen to you and can't you see I am busy, you old timey music box." Alastor grumbled about her being over ten thousand years old but paid it no mind as she was busy focusing on making small braids in Adam's hair "Such a shame! You couldn't finish your own husband to enact your revenge on those who wronged you..." Alastor smile widened as he saw her stop braiding the first Man's hair "If it were me~" Alastor slowly began to transform, his Antlers grew larger and sharper, his back elongated and arched but the most prominent were his eyes in the shape of Radio dials "I wouldn't hesitate to kill my wife if she were in the way of My PrEy." He rose his clawed hands and hovering them in front of Adam's face. After what felt like an eternity to Eve, Alastor retracted his hands and began walking away humming an old tune "Haha! If you can't kill him! I could gladly kill him for you! And besides I need a new guest for my Radio show!"

Alastor was suddenly dragged backwards by a golden chain, Alastor looked up only to see Roo twisting the chain in her right hand dragging him closer to her while still gently caressing Adam's head and when Alastor reached her, she simply stared into his eyes blankly, her hair flying around and the auburn tips reminiscent of Hell's eternal and all consuming flames "You lay a finger on him or I find even a single evidence of your involvement in his death..." Roo tugged his collar roughly causing Alastor to chock "I will rip you piece by piece and make you broadcast your own screams from that Radio of yours and rebuild you to just do it all over again for eternity~ Do you understand, Bambi ?" Roo snarled as her eyes reminding him of the very void of death and voice instilled fear of death he hadn't felt until this morning, she tilted her head mockingly "You couldn't kill him in that fight of yours! what makes you think you can take on a weakened Adam backed into a corner ? He isn't like you, to run for his fucking life when bested he would die with dignity, Hahahah!" Alastor looked at her as his smile strained in fear

"Don't forget who sold their soul to the demon whom even the Queen of fucking Hell ran away from in fear." Alastor simply nodded rapidly in fear and Roo roughly tossed him aside in disgust, she sighed as she looked at Adam "I am sorry, Adam... I wish we had met in a different scenario, I would have loved to take you to my favourite cafe. Hm, though you would be disgusted by the food..." Eve smiled fondly imaging them romantically sitting on top of a cliff watching as the city burned and the denizens screaming in terror.... "Wow! That was twisted..." Roo commented at her imagination "Oh well! let's end this~" She began sharpening her nails only for her to be disturbed again! "Al! Al! Are you there ?" A girl called out, it seemed the voice belonged to the princess and she wasn't far from them, Roo snarled and glaring at Alastor "You were followed!?" Alastor chuckled nervously "The hotel isn't exactly far from here, hehehe." Alastor fearfully replied, Roo kissed Adam's forehead lovingly and gently placed his head on the ground, she stood up and began dissipating into smoke "Act like you were never here and if you get the chance kill him. I shall return in 6 months, don't fail me!" Roo ordered Alastor "Yes my Dear..." Alastor bowed reluctantly and disappeared into the shadows and soon a new adventure had came walking to Charlie's door or rather she walked to it instead...

Adam groaned as he tried to sit up but was unable to due to the immense pain in his back, he felt a hand on his back helping him sit up right on the bed. Adam closed his eyes and smiled in the direction of the stranger "Thank you" he said with gratitude and opened his eyes only to see Charlie with a wide grin up in his face, causing him and Charlie to scream in shock and terror which ended with her pushing Adam off the bed and hitting the floor with a loud thud. Charlie rushed towards Adam in panic "I am so so sorry!" Adam began crawling backwards while blindly trying to feel anything within the area to protect himself and when he felt something he grabbed it and raised it to defend himself.

"I will not hesitate to strike you down with this!" Adam threatened Charlie, who looked at him confused "That's...that's a flower?" Adam looked down in his hands to see a wilted flower but glared back at her "Then Allergies will!!" Adam declared causing Charlie to raise her hands in worry "Please! I mean you no harm! So, can you calm down?" Adam looked more terrified as he realized he didn't have his golden wings and his eyes landed on a mirror in the room causing him even more terror. He was... a fucking human again, he looked up at pointing a finger at her accusingly "What have you done to me, Demon ?" Charlie looked offended but tried her best to answer him in calm and soft tone "No, I haven't done anything to you, in fact I saved you from dying out there." Adam looked in her eyes to see if she was lying but they were so sincere that he couldn't help but lower his hands dropping the flower and calming down, only for Vaggie to burst open the door holding her spear and her wings flared in panic!

"What the fuck! Is happening in here...." Vaggie's eye widened when she saw Charlie hands raised and slightly turned her head causing her to freeze. Soon Cherri and Alastor arrived with Angel following them yawning and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes "What's the commotion in the dead middle of the night! A star needs their beauty sleep you know!" Angel looked up at Cherri and Alastor only to see them frozen so when he turned to look at what caused them to stop... He had only word to say "...Fuck!" and they all rolled into action.

"Step aside Charlie! and let us Fucking finish him." Vaggie told Charlie as she glared at Adam, Angel loaded his gun and Cherri was clutched her bomb tightly as she glared at Charlie "Do what she said, Princess! Else It will end badly for you both..." she warned Charlie but Charlie stood more boldly, stretching her arms more protectively over Adam and was about to say something when Alastor beat her to it "My dear, you are truly a noble soul to protect a uhm... human?" Alastor cocked his head in what appeared to be confused but soon shook his head "Doesn't matter! But he not only exterminated your people, us sinners, attacked the hotel and successfully destroying it, killed cannibals that had families and friends waiting for them back at the colony. Not to mention, Murdering our dear friend Sir Pentious! Are you willing to protect someone who enjoyed slaughtering his own descendants and would do it again without any guilt or mercy? why that much ? look what he did to your girlfriend, your other half, Ms. Vagatha , one of his own trusted exorcist because she couldn't kill a child~"

Alastor's smile stretched slightly going unnoticed as he looked around to see his plan was working. It seemed his words not only made Charlie hesitant but seemed to have riled up the others causing Angel to point his gun at Adam's face "Fuck this! I don't care if you hate me after this Charlie! For Pen!" Adam raised his finger from instinct "Die you fucking bitch!" Causing everyone to close their eyes and brace for impact.

A few minutes had passed but nothing happened, causing Angel to clutch his stomach from laughter and soon everyone except Charlie and Adam, joined him laughing loudly "Hahaha! you don't even have your powers. You’re as harmless as the roaches that Niffty hunts" They continued to laugh, only for them to duck when suddenly a golden beam was fired which was reflecting all around the room hitting mirror after mirror, "Why are there so many fucking Mirrors in this room! Things get any worse than this!" Cherri exclaimed and as if on cue hit the chandelier splitting the beam into multiple rays in different directions and continuing their offense.

Thankfully the rays hit a mirror reflecting them towards the door and few of the rays disintegrate its hinges. “Ha! It seems I still got it in me!” Adam celebrated only to be surrounded by weapons “See Charlie! That is why we must kill him! He is too dangerous to be left alive!” Vaggie said as she, Angel and the others circled Charlie and Adam, ready to send him to oblivion when the door fell to reveal Lucifer in all his glory with a disappointed and tired expression.

Lucifer appeared to be unharmed, the same couldn't be said about his suit and hat. the suit was burnt in many places and his hat was missing a huge chunk, he grumbled as he snapped his fingers repairing the damage done to his attire and looked at everyone annoyed "I don't know what is going on in here but can't it wait till the morning!" Everyone except Charlie stepped aside revealing Adam, Charlie laughed nervously raising a finger "Dad, I can explain." only for a flash of gold and white to blur past her... Shit!

Charlie was successful in stopping her dad from strangling Adam to death and much to the dismay of the others especially Alastor "Dad! I told you that the hotel is about giving second chances even the most unexpected ones!" Lucifer looked at his daughter ready to tell her how Adam was the worst but saw her being stubborn and determined to help him, so he relented allowing Adam to stay at the hotel. Charlie squealed as she hugged her dad "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So much Dad!" The devil laughed at his daughter's antics and hugged her back. They were forced to separate when Lucifer's phone rang and had to step out for a moment.

Charlie turned to her friends and smiled softly at them "I know you all are mad and disappointed but... I just had to save him... I want you all to know that you don't have to forgive him and I won't force you to forgive him but please just give him the chance to become better, I promi-" Vaggie raised her hand signaling her to stop and sighed before smiling softly at her "Fine, but if he does anything that harms you or anyone in the hotel..." Vaggie glared at Adam who still towered over her "I will kill him right then and there!" pointing her spear at his neck to show her seriousness.

"Charlie! Oh! I am so happy!" Lucifer flew in, hugging her tightly "Dad! What is it ?" Charlie asked curiously laughing with her father "Heaven has asked to meet with you at the embassy at 8:00 am to discuss about the hotel!" Charlie was the happiest she had ever been in ages! her dream to redeem sinners was finally going to be accepted in heaven, she pulled Vaggie for a passionate kiss as everyone around them cheered and Adam smiled in relief "Ugh! Finally I can go home now." Lucifer laughed nervously at Adam "Uhm... About that...Uhm how should I put this?"

"What do they fucking mean by stay and be redeemed!?" Adam was furious not only was he now human but they wanted him to stay at the hotel and redeem himself! He was Adam the first Fucking man, the OG Dick! All dicks originated from his fucking nuts! Is being ordered to stay at a shitty hotel run by the person he wants to see and talk the least as possible! "Look, they said they will give Charlie more information on this after the meeting! So please calm down!" Lucifer told him with an annoyed expression "But before any of this, we should relocate Adam to a better room." Charlie said excitedly and Adam reluctantly agreed "It would be better if you did that." Lucifer nodded "I second this! We don't want to repeat Adam firing his laser by accident and kill himself. But I don't think it will happen again any time soon." Charlie raised a brow "How are you so sure?" lucifer asked Adam to raise his hand in the same position he did last time and try to fire but nothing happened, even after a couple of tries nothing "So what I am saying is that he can only use them when his life is threatened." Lucifer simply stated to Charlie and continued "Or it could be a one-time thing. Sera wasn’t exactly clear on that." and with that everyone dispersed for well needed rest for the big event in the morning.

Alastor was alone in the room and unleashed his frustration on the mirrors, shattering them, he was so close to have Adam killed so close. He grit his teeth as he hated the fact if that stray shot had not been fired he wouldn't have to worry about Lucifer waking up and Charlie take a stronger stance to save Adam, he sighed and left for his room to get some sleep after all he had some scheming to do.

"Dad, please make sure to keep an eye on Adam and-" Lucifer cut her off "I promise! I will make sure to stay as close to Adam as possible and keep him and the others away from danger. You just focus on your meeting with Sera! Just leave this to me." He said with confidence and began pushing Charlie and Vaggie out the door "Have a good meeting!" and slammed the door, Charlie and Vaggie left to the Embassy hoping that the outcome of the meeting be good.

Charlie was nervous as she and Vaggie sat across the head seraphim and leader of Heaven, Sera and thankfully Emily was present as well making the atmosphere more breathable. Charlie cleared her throat, brought out her presentation and this time it was more professional "So... my idea is-" Charlie stopped when she saw Sera raise her hand and was having a sense of Deja Vu "Let me stop you right there and save us all precious time. And I believe you were suggesting they climb up the ladder to cross the pearly gates. Well…" She looked towards Emily and Emily simply nodded "You can come out now." Charlie felt her heart beating rapidly with suspense "It's good to see you miss Charlotte!" A familiar snake said with a smile, Charlie gasped as tears welled up in her eyes and rushed to hug him, the other occupants in the room simply smiled at the reunion between the two friends as the two talked about how Sir Pentious’ life in Heaven was like.

Charlie looked at Sera gratefully "Thank you so much!" Sera chuckled at Charlie "It was the least I could do and we have called off the Extermination program for now and until further notice." Charlie couldn't help it anymore and hugged Sera tightly causing her to go stiff and gently separate Charlie from her "We are not at that stage yet." Charlie scratched the back of her head in embarrassment "Sorry!" Sera simply shook her head in smiling but suddenly she looked at Emily and ordered with a serious tone "Emily, please entertain our other guests while I discuss some important information with Ms. Morningstar" Emily nodded and began herding them out "Come on! I promise it will be fun." Vaggie looked suspiciously at Sera which Emily noticed "Vaggie, I promise Sera won't do anything to harm her. You have my word." Vaggie acknowledged Emily's words with a simple nod.

"So... what is so important that you sent everyone out?" Charlie asked curiously, Sera sighed in frustration "It's about..."

"Adam!" lucifer yelled as he barged into his room to find the first man lying on the floor and sighed in relief “What?” Adam glared at him causing Lucifer to laugh nervously and laid down beside him “…This is so awkward. I am sitting with my wife’s ex in the room of a hotel my daughter runs. Hehe!” Adam didn’t even bother even turning towards him, Lucifer sighed “How did we go from best buds to… This!” Adam finally turned towards him “I don’t know, why don’t you tell me, duck fucker!” Lucifer glared at Adam “If you have a problem with me, fucking tell me but don’t bring my ducks into this!” Adam smirked “What you going to do punch me, huh? I bet Lilith left you because all you do is talk du-ack!” Lucifer lunged at Adam “Oh! It’s on!” and they began fighting. It seemed lucifer was about to win when Niffty broke through the door with her Angelic Knife, a crazed expression plastered on her face “Stab! Stab! Stab!” and then Niffty pounced like a lion on his prey, Adam with his quick reflexes used Lucifer as a shield causing her to bounce and fall out of the window of the 115th floor! They watched as the maid fell to what would have been certain death, A shadowy figure groaned in frustration as Adam escaped the clutches of death again ! Lucifer looked at Adam with an awkward smile “So…Breakfast?” Adam laid down on his bed “No thanks, I ain't hungry...”

"So… what about him ?" Charlie was nervous as Sera's tone shifted into a more serious one "How are we sure you are not using him as a hostage for Heaven to yield to your requests?" Charlie was offended with her question and a bit concerned "Excuse me?" Sera narrowed her eyes "Do I have to repeat myself?" Charlie's back straightened "No, no! not at all. I understood your question but I am a bit offended that you would think so low of me." Sera's tone shifted into a more calmer one "I was afraid you would try to torture him." Charlie froze "What?" Sera looked at her with a soft smile "I know what Adam has done to you and your friends." Sera chuckled a bit at Charlie's expression " So I have been curious about Eden for a long time now. So, are you going to tell me about it ?" Charlie asked Sera but she shook her head "I can not tell you anything about Eden. Maybe you should ask the next best source." Sera suggested, Charlie thought for a while and came to one conclusion "My dad?" Sera thought about it for a while "Not a bad source but some of his views are based solely on your mother's words and he was a bit of a radical." Charlie held her breathe when she realized who Sera was mentioning "Adam." it was a small whisper but loud enough for her to hear "Yes, indeed." Charlie didn't like the idea and Alastor's words had struck a small corner of her heart that hated Adam immensely and Charlie slammed her hands on the table "But he is the last person who would support redemption! A big jerk! He probably didn't even treat Eve well either and still got into Heaven-Don't you dare speak of him like that!" Charlie was cut off as Sera growled causing her wings to flare and fire erupt in her eyes but she soon took a few breathes and calm down.

"I-I am sorry Charlie." Charlie looked at her fearfully and gulped "It's okay..."and gestured for Sera to continue "I believe your view of him is mostly shaped based on your mother's side of Eden, isn't it?" Charlie nodded "Which isn't completely wrong but there is more to Adam than you might think. He wasn't always heartless and there was a time when he openly supported the idea of redemption." Charlie listened more interested "What changed?" Sera looked away in shame "I..I am afraid I am uncomfortable to tell you." Charlie sighed "I see" It looked like Sera wasn't going to answer any questions regarding Eden or Adam's history "So Dad mentioned something about Adam's powers, do you know anything about it?" Sera groaned in frustration banging her head against the table "Dad is probably interfering with things again but he always does them for a good reason... most of the time." Sera straightened "But I assure you, Adam can only activate his powers if and only if it is being used for self defense and that's all He told me." Sera heard a knock "It seems our time is up. I am glad we could talk. Do consider on giving him another chance, Charlie. He could help you redeem the sinners." Sera smiled at her and she returned it "Me too and I will try to but no promises on it working out as you think. But what do you mean by help me redeem?" Sera was about to answer her but Emily and Sir Pentious entered the room and the three angels began to glow and Sir Pentious slithered to Charlie and hugged her one final time and they returned to Heaven.

Charlie and Vaggie reached the hotel only to find everyone gathered at the table eating lunch "I must say Alastor! your cooking is equivalent to the top chefs of the Pride ring! While I still hate you, I am willing over look it if you want to act as the head chef for the hotel but I and Charlie will look over the process and ingredients to see if they can be served to our guest." Alastor had his signature smile "I don't mind that, short king" Lucifer gritted his teeth at the jib but smiled when he saw Charlie "Char-Char! How did the meeting go?" and she began narrating to everyone what she and the angels discussed and repeated about the part where she got to meet Sir Pentious which caused a lot of cheers and Angel exclaimed something no one expected to hear "So he made it! Awesome! So how does it work? Do you have to just give up sinning and embrace virtue or do good things and try to minimize the evil?" Charlie began laughing nervously and searching for an excuse to bail out as she didn't have a definite answer yet when she realized something "Hey Dad, Where is Adam?" Lucifer shrugged "Probably in his room, maybe he didn't feel like eating Lunch with us losers. Enough of about Adam tell me more about what this Pen fellow is doing up there." Charlie smiled and began retelling some of Pentious' adventures in Heaven, everyone was invested in them even Alastor! and she was confused over why Niffty was covered in bandages to which her dad simply laughed nervously.

Charlie had finished her lunch and was about to leave to talk to Adam when Alastor stopped her and handed her a plate "Uhm.. Al, what is this ?" Alastor smiled proudly "Today's lunch!" Charlie laughed a bit "But seriously what is it for ?" Alastor's grin widened "Why for the first man himself! with extra seasoning." Charlie was touched by the fact Alastor was kind enough to give Adam a specially cooked meal "Oh! I know he is going to love it! I bet he won't want to eat anything after this!" Alastor chuckled "I hope so, my dear." Charlie giggled unaware of the sinister undertone.

Adam was siting on the balcony railing looking at Pentagram city when he heard the door open to, only to see Charlie enter holding a plate filled with delicious looking food, she greeted him with a smile "How are you doing, Adam?" the man in question looked at her suspiciously "What's your scheme here?" Charlie's smile strained a bit "Nothing at all! I heard that you didn't eat anything, so I brought you lunch!" Adam raised a brow "Alastor made it! He usually never makes an extra plate for anyone no matter what their reason maybe to miss a meal. So consider yourself honored." Adam simply shook his head and kept the plate aside on the railing "I will eat it later." Charlie smiled a bit more brightly "Sir Pentious got into Heaven!" Adam tilted his head "Who?"

Charlie groaned in frustration. Damn it! she should have took a selfie with him and showed it to Adam "The snake demon" Adam's eyes narrowed "Bitch! Do you know how slightly that narrows it down to?" Charlie sighed "The one with a blip and a death laser!" Adam's eyes widened "Oh! That one. Wait, that cunt got redeemed!" Charlie squealed "I know right! He proved it to everyone that redemption is possible. Now just a few more and we'll be in business!" Adam laughed at her loudly snapping Charlie out of her fantasy "What?" Adam calmed down "Well then how did he get redeemed?" his question made Charlie fumble and Adam started to smirk widely "It seems you don't know, huh! Such a shame." Adam shook his head mockingly, Charlie felt her anger build up but tried to appear as calm as possible "Well that's alright, I will try to find the reason even if it takes me decades." Charlie smiled "Well you must be hungry. Here! how about you eat now" Charlie shifted the subject and began trying to push Adam to eat but for some reason he didn't feel the need not to eat "Charlie, I am not telling you this again. I am not hungry!" Adam tried to resolve this as peacefully as possible.

Charlie chucked and scooped up some of the contents using a spoon "Nonsense! Come on, say 'Ah'." Charlie brought the spoon closer to his mouth, Adam tried moving his head away from the spoon as much as possible and Charlie tried harder but no avail, so she faked her movement catching Adam off guard and was about to shove the spoon in his mouth when he slapped the plate out of her hand and glared at her "I said I am not hungry!" Charlie felt her anger reach its limit and she erupted "Adam! Alastor had made it for you from the bottom of his heart and you just threw it to the floor! Ugh, You're such a jerk! No wonder everyone left you!" Adam snarled at her "A jerk...I am a jerk while your parents are noble heroes that have done..." Adam stopped himself from finishing and began laughing, Charlie glared "What's so funny?" Adam looked at her grinning maliciously "Well you still didn't answer my question, Charlie. How are you going to redeem sinners?" Charlie narrowed her eyes "I thought I answered that." Adam tilted his head "So you agree. Snake boy's redemption was a fluke." Charlie tried to deney Adam's claim "I didn't say that!" But Adam seemed amused "Then answer my question " Charlie opened her mouth but closed it, not knowing what to say.

Adam simply shook his head with disappointment "Well let's go for an easier one. Tell me his sins." Charlie stood speechless trying to think of some of Sir Pentious' sins "Uhm he... was not kind." "Not kind! That's his only sin. Wow! How the fuck did he get into this rotten place? For being like good ol' scrooge on Christmas! Fuck just admit it you don't know his sins, bitch." Charlie huffed at him "I agree, I might have been ignorant of his sins but its not like you know anything about him or any of the sinners you kill" Adam looked at her blankly "Then let me enlighten you, He was a general in the Royal army of the British empire around the 1800s to early 1900s. the boy was a mad tactician and was involved in winning small but crucial wars for them, he would come up with fucking designs and weapons that the technology of the time couldn't create, he so fucking smart that his ideas were something not even the 21st century have reached yet! But we are talking about his sin that doomed him to fall to Hell, his first major war that he was supposed to lead as general, he fucking ran away like a coward leaving his troops to fend for themselves and they would have died if some soldier hadn't stepped up and took charge and they won but with grave loses and they coined him 'Pentious the snake', it's funny that in hell he looked like the very thing he fucking hated being called. But worst, he left his wife and son to mistreatment and causing their deaths." Charlie looked at him in disbelief "But Pen would never do that..." Adam towered over Charlie looking down on her

"You want to only look at the good side of these sinners but I watched their whole life unfold in front of my very eyes! Their choices, problems and their reactions to them, and I promise you these sinners had the choice to do something that could have prevented them from being doomed to Hell. For example that Radio demon, he was abused by his father and watched his mother be tortured and killed by him. So when his father attacked him drunk, he stabbed him with a knife killing him but you see we forgave that sin of his because he did it in self defense. And then when he had the chance to enter the police force to prevent people like his father from ruining people's lives, and he took it but wasn't selected due to the discriminative policies back then and became a radio host. He had fame, money and power to help people like him but what was uncalled for were his murders and cannibalism of the everyday man! Sure most of his prey were the elite corrupts of society but what did the police team who were investigating the crimes and the young children of these elites do to warrant their death. Answer me Charlie! And prove me wrong for exterminating these fuckers!" Adam grabbed her shoulders tightly and shook her for a few seconds before letting go and leaning on the railings waiting for her to answer.

Charlie simply stood their trying to process that her people and even her friends did crimes that just couldn't be explained, she watched as Adam leaned closer to her "So, just give up this dumb endeavor of yours and do something worth while!" Charlie felt tears welling up in her eyes and began running to the door and stopped only to look at Adam with tears running down her face "I... I might not know their sins and may be I am too optimistic but at least I try to better them unlike you who gave up on them and decided to kill them every year." Charlie slammed the door barely missing a vase being thrown at her. Charlie ran to her room wiping tears not noticing her dad walking by.

Lucifer barged into Adam's room "That was uncalled for, Adam!" Adam turned around "What, now you want to preach me about redemption? Well two broken hearts is better for repair-"Adam fell to the ground as Lucifer punched him "You hurt my daughter, Adam! Not once but more than I can count if I hadn't promised Charlie not to harm you, there wouldn't even be a body to hold a funeral for." Adam laughed rolling on the ground causing Lucifer even more rage "What's so funny!?" But Adam didn't stop and began laughing even more harder, Lucifer grasped Adam's shirt tightly "Stop laughing! I said fucking Stop!" Fire erupted and Lucifer looked more demonic and Adam stopped only glaring at him "What about Abel when he came down here for the same cause as Charlie came to me?"

Lucifer's grip loosened giving Adam the opportunity to push him and pin him to the ground not giving him a chance to speak "You didn't stop when Abel begged Cain to stop torturing him and looked at you both for help but you two simply sat there as if you were watching some play and enjoying it!" Adam came Lucifer's ear and began to whisper

"Did you know when your daughter came to me with the idea of redemption, my blood boiled so much that I wanted to kill her right then and there and send her body to you as revenge. But I didn't have the heart to, so I sang her out and it was fucking awesome." Adam laughed as Lucifer looked at him "I am sorry, Adam." Adam stopped laugh and griped his shirt pulling him closer "I don't need your sorry! It doesn't change what you did to Abel and the rest of our children even Cain." Lucifer felt Adam let go of him and saw him lean on the wall crossing his arms "Now, get out." Lucifer walked to the door and looked back at him "Adam, I truly am sorry for what I did and please try to be a bit kinder to Charlie, she is innocent of our sins." Adam gritted his teeth "Get.Out!"

As soon as Lucifer left, he could hear Adam falling to the ground crying at the thoughts of his children. Lucifer sighed placing a magic seal that would only allow him and Charlie to enter and left to comfort his daughter. He looked back at the door and sighed, someday he and Adam would hangout like they did in Eden, someday he would get to see his daughter call Adam an uncle just like Adam promised to Lilith but for now he needed to give Adam sometime to adjust he needed time to prepare to reveal the bitter truth to his daughter. Meanwhile Alastor sat in his room scheming new ways to make sure Adam's luck ran out and bring him to his death .

Chapter Text

Hunger! Need food! was all the Hell Crow could think as it flew around searching food. Wherever he flew, people would either try to catch him and eat him or shoo him away, even dumpsters were not safe! This was truly Hell... A delicious aroma was being emitted from somewhere. So he did the most logical thing, he followed it and after a few minutes he found it! The source of the intoxicating smell was...Food! God truly existed even in this cruel world called Hell and began to gobble the food on the floor with content and gratitude.

The crow became drowsy after a full meal and decided to sleep in eternal peace...

Adam was cautious when he saw a crow eat the food Charlie brought and die in the most agonizing way. The horror that gripped his heart was too small to compared to the feeling of dread that everyone around him were plotting his death. He sat down and began rooting out the possible suspects, Charlie is too kind hearted like Abel to plot something, he knew Vagina wouldn't and couldn't hurt him, And even if Lucifer still hated him, the max he could do was punch him as he had promised his daughter that he will not kill him but he was the king of lies... "Yeah fuck this! I am not leaving this fucking room!" Adam laid down on his bed ignoring the nauseating smell from the dead crow.

The first day went surprisingly well! He did a few exercises here and there, took a nap, failed to remove the bird carcass from the balcony and decided to shoo away some birds from eating the carcass and even looked at his fit and slim body, sadly he was unable to sleep that night. But it was the second day when everything fell into chaos, he began to get suspicious of the water lines and stopped drinking water as well and no matter how many times he tried to shoo them away those fucking birds! They kept coming back and carcasses kept piling up! They had piled so much that the smell of these birds decaying became even worse causing him to get sick, which he didn't know was even possible!

It had been three days since the spat with Adam and he hasn't left his room or eat anything. At first Charlie didn't care but was beginning to freak out at the end of the third day and Alastor's comments on Adam were not helping at all. So she steeled her resolve and began walking to Adam's room, she took a breath and knocked at the door but no response, so she tried again "Adam...Adam, can you open the door" After trying a few more times she gives up and was about to leave when she heard something. "Better sorry than regret later" Charlie turned the doorknob and entered the room.

The room smelt of death and decay reminding her of the Extermination day. Charlie covered her nose and searched for Adam, She eventually found him on the bed peacefully sleeping but something was wrong, did humans breathe deeply and rapidly? So Charlie moved her hand to wake him up only for her hand to feel like it was burnt by touching him and dread began to pool in her stomach when she realized something important that he was neither a Sinner nor an Angel but...Human.

Charlie rushed to open all the windows and doors to let fresh air into the room, when she reached the balcony, the foul smell became stronger and what she saw was horrifying. Hordes of dead crows laid all across the floor and a few of them had a weird foam spewing out of their beaks. Charlie took a few steps back and dashed to Adam trying harder to wake him up "Adam! Wake up! Oh God! You're a human of course you would get sick and being surrounded by people you call enemies causing you not leave. Please wake up!" Charlie felt tears well up, as she felt she was going to doom everyone to heavens wrath.... to Sera's wrath.

"Abel..." Charlie heard Adam speak up and she looked up to see Adam's golden eyes blurry with tears as he placed a hand on her face.

Charlie lifted Adam up and placed one of his hands on her shoulder. She struggled for a while but Adam's helpless state drove her forward. After what felt like an eternity she reached her room and laid Adam down on the bed.

As Charlie was about to leave to wet her kerchief for his fever, when Adam suddenly grabbed her hand "Abel... Don't leave me, please..." His usually loud voice was small and tired, Charlie smiled at Adam and slowly removed his hand "I am not going anywhere. I'll be back before you know it" But her words only made his hand grip tighter "You said the same thing before you went to hell, to preach your idea to Lilith and Lucifer." Adam choked on his tears as he held her hand "But you never returned..."

Charlie was starting get worried that if she didn't do something quick Adam's health would get worse, So she did the most logical thing "Adam, I promise! I will be back in a jiffy. Just try to be awake for a while. Okay ?" Adam's grip loosened nodding his head in approval and Charlie began to rush to the sink and wet her kerchief applying it on Adam's forehead. After a few hours of rinse and repeat, Adam became slightly... stable

Charlie was panicking when Adam was tossing and turning in his sleep and ran to her father to ask if he could bring any medicines for Adam's fever and without any hesitation he accepted her request and saying that he knew some of the best doctors in Hell who might have them.

Lucifer flew as fast as he could to the few sinners he knew were doctors in their human lives. The devil knocked on his friends door and was greeted with a smile by a goat man "Ah! Lucifer good to see you buddy. What brings you to my humble abode?" the king cleared his throat "I am in a bit of a hurry. So can't really enjoy pleasantries, So do you have any medicine for fevers?" The goat furrowed his brows "I am afraid, I am not that type of Doctor." Lucifer chucked nervously "I thought you were a doctor... Like you know, a doctor, Sam" Sam chuckled "Oh your Highness! I am a doctor in physics not medicine. You should probably ask George." But Lucifer had already left for George's without saying bye "Huh, must be in a hurry."

Charlie prayed to Heaven for her father to hurry as Adam's health had only worsened and he was becoming more weak. She saw his golden eyes dull and slowly lose their light "Luci, why is it so bright in Eden all of a sudden?" Charlie fell to her knees and held his hand with tears threatening to fall "Adam, you will be fine. I-I promise... Please stay with me!" Adam slowly wiped a stray tear from 'Lucifer' 's cheek "You were always an emotional wreck... I think I just need to rest for a while..."

Charlie begged and pleaded Adam not to sleep but his eyes slowly were fluttering to a shut. As all hope was almost lost, her dad burst through the window with the medicine and quickly handed it to her as he instructed her the required dosage.

The duo held their breathe for sometime waiting for it to do some miracle but nothing happened, So they waited for a few more minutes...And then Hell broke into chaos.

Vaggie was trying to relax but the shuffling and loud steps in her and Charlie's room were getting annoying, So she went up to investigate it. It would have been an understatement if she said that Adam would have died if these two were his doctors. "Charlie, Mr. Morningstar-I am not calling you dad because we are not at that level of mutual trust and bonding yet, are the worst Doctors in fucking history! If I hadn't shown up, you two would have killed him of overdose!"

Meanwhile somewhere Alastor's smile and ears fell a little at the thought of Adam surviving another day and causing him more pain in his behind.

"But the prescription says-No Charlie, the prescription does not say that you have to give him the full strip at once!" Vaggie glared at the two, Lucifer spoke up this time "Well, the handwriting was bad." The two woman in the room stared at him as if he had said the most sensible thing in the entire universe that Vaggie was just left speechless and was broken from her shock on hearing her dadAdam throw a coughing fit.

Vaggie began checking his temperature and enquired them about how much dosage of the medicine they gave him. And after collecting the information, she dragged them out the room and shut it. Vaggie sighed in relief knowing that if those two were here for a second longer, well Sera was in for a story. She shook her head to rid herself of those thoughts and began to do the usual procedures that she and her sisters would do when they were sick only she got sick, not that she would Admit that to anyone any day soon.

Vaggie remembered it like it was yesterday, She was the only one who ever returned to Heaven sick after extermination day that Adam would have to take care of her and visit her whenever he was free. Vaggie chuckled at the memory of that one time when some of her sisters feigned being sick just so they could skip training and make her stay a bit better, and Adam had caught them but decided to join their little game of cards and sometimes an old version of that Dungeons and Dragons board game.

But after her fall, all those memories left a bitter taste in her mouth and made her want to scream and yell at Adam for betraying her like that after he promised that he would fill the role of a father that she never got in life, Did he not care for her all because she let that kid live? Maybe she should let him-Vaggie shook her head and she ignored the burning pain in her heart and continued to look after him, after all that's what a good daughter would the right thing to do...Right?

Charlie waited on the couch with her dad, as she looked at him nervously which lucifer noticed "Don't worry Charlie! Trust me when I say Adam has survived worst." he placed a hand on her shoulder comforting her. Charlie smiled at her dad "Aw Thanks dad! But that's not what I was thinking..." Lucifer scooted closer "So what is it?" Lucifer was wondering if it was about Vaggie or perhaps about the hotel "I want to know about Abel!"

Lucifer's eyes nearly fell out but composed himself "What was that? I wasn't quite sure what I heard." He began cleaning his ears, Charlie took a deep breath and decided a different approach "I want to know about Adam and your story on Eden." the devil began to sweat trying to think of ways to get out of the situation "Uh, I think your girlfriend's calling...So I'll have to skedaddle from here." Lucifer quickly got up and was about leave when Charlie stopped him "Dad, Please." Charlie begged him with desperation.

Lucifer sighed as he stumbled "I was his best friend, Charlie." the king fell to his knees as regret pooled in his gut "He trusted me with his fucking life even though we were nearly immortal back in Eden. I betrayed him, your mother betrayed him and Eve was the only one who stood by his side!" He began to laugh but soon broke down into tears "But We accidently corrupted her. And now we don't even know what happened to her." his voice was cracking and Charlie sat down on her knees "Dad, how about we start with the beginning?" Lucifer nodded "I still remember it like it was yesterday..."

Sad Backstory no Jutsu??

I was there when they created Adam from the dust of the earth and helping them model him. I kind of messed up his eyes hehehe Instead of chestnut brown eyes, he was created with eyes as bright as the sun and as golden as the jewellery metal itself...Did you know heaven named the metal gold after seeing Adam's ey-Dad! Hehehe right back to the story! So I messed up big time and was not allowed to interact with Adam or another creation in Eden but that didn't stop your pops from entering Eden. So I snuck in and began exploring Eden.

While sitting on a tree branch, I hadn't noticed that I accidently gotten tree sap stuck to my feathers. So when I tried to fly, I fell in a very deep hole! Unable to fly and with no experience in climbing out, I had lost all hope of getting out. That was when I heard footsteps and someone calling out to me, asking if I needed help and that was how our friendship began.

Adam had saved this person, who looked similar to Sera and her helpers, "So how did you get stuck there?" Lucifer groaned showing him the sap on his wings "Oh! That's tree sap." Lucifer looked at him confused "A tree's what?" the first man scratched the back of his head "Still coming up with better names." Right the first man was given the task of naming things all over Eden how did he forget that.

Lucifer lowered his head and sighed, Sera was going to scold him so bad after this. Lucifer was lost in his thoughts until he felt Adam tap his shoulders "Hey! I could show you a place to clean your wings." Lucifer sprang back to life "Awesome! where is this pla-"

"Ahhhh!" Lucifer screamed in horror while Adam cheered as he and Lucifer fell of a waterfall on a fricking branch! when Lucifer and Adam reached shore, the angel glared at him "What the heck was that!?" Adam laid down on the sand smiling "I call that Riding a branch and fall of a waterfall! Yah!" Lucifer just stared at him and Adam simply crossed his arms "What? I am still trying to get a hang of this naming thing!" Lucifer laid down beside him "How about we call this 'Rafting'?" Adam thought for a while and shrugged "Sure, why not!" and after some time they got up to explore more of Eden.

Sera found the duo drenched from top to bottom and was about to rip into the shorter angel when Adam spoke up "Uhm, Miss Sera?" Sera's eyes softened as she looked at Adam "Yes Adam, what is it?" Adam was nervously twiddling with his fingers Sera squealed as He looked so cute!! as he spoke "Well... I was wondering if you could allow Luci to enter Eden. It feels a bit lonely here." Sera sighed and politely asked him if they could be given a moment to discuss, Adam agreed and sat a bit far from them, hoping they would allow his new friend to visit more often.

it had been a few days since they had met and became friends as Adam called it, Lucifer had never felt so welcomed and happy before. Though he was disappointed that he wasn't given full freedom, they had let him enter on a few conditions. The first one was that he would only use his powers only when they were in immediate danger, two he would report to them about Adam's mental health and similar things and the third although a bit weird Sera wanted Lucifer to tell her all the things he and Adam would do from the most mundane to the silliest things, which was weird but if agreeing with these conditions allowed him to meet his best friend then no second thoughts required!

Lucifer watched as Adam plucked a rose and began slowly plucking each petal and blowing them away. Lucifer called his name a few times but in vain, So he decided to scream his name in his ear "Adam!!" Adam jumped and threw his arms in front of himself in defense, only to realize it was his friend "What is it, Luci?" the angel furrowed his brows as he looked at him "I should be asking you that." Adam sighed and fell back down on the evergreen grass. "It's a bit lonely here, Luci." Lucifer was slack-jawed when he heard Adam and began laughing "Don't be ridiculous! How can you feel lonely when I am here!" Adam chuckled at his friend "No, No! I don't mean it in that sense, I meant it as in maybe you could ask the Angels to conjure up a mate for me. You know like the other animals in the garden. I guess I just felt lonely in that sense..." Adam sighed depressingly, Lucifer had the best idea

"Hey Adam~" Adam looked up to see his friend with following golden locks and ruby like eyes but the most distinctive feature was his big...Chest? he really needed to come up with a name for... a Woman's body parts, though it would be easy if there was one! Adam laughed at his friend "You look like those weird birds you showed me last time. Hahaha!" Lucifer pouted and snaped himself back to his original form "I was trying to cheer you up!" but he couldn't hold it in any longer and laughed with his buddy.

Night had arrived at Eden and Adam went to sleep, Lucifer walked up to Sera and cleared his throat "Sera, I have something Important to report." Sera nodded at him to continue "Adam feels lonely" Sera furrowed her brows and pinched her nose "You had one job, Lucifer." Lucifer raised his hands in defeat before she could continue and spoke "I can't fulfill the role of an other half, Sera. No matter how much of a good friend I am! I can't fill that void." the angel's head hung low, Sera sighed and smiled at him "What do you suggest?" Lucifer smiled mischievously "I know just the right thing~"

"...And that's how your mother was created and then shit went down the drain like in your mom's story. The End!!" Lucifer released a breathe he didn't now he was holding and plopped on the couch, satisfied by his summary but Charlie stared at him as if she heard the most disappointing thing like a kid on their birthday, hearing that their would be no cake and candy "What? That's it!?" Lucifer shrugged "What did you expect some sad backstory on how I tried to save humanity and failed miserably?" Charlie was unable to speak, so she simply nodded as a reply causing Lucifer turned his head away offended "Well you've heard it, read it and are currently looking at it. So I'll be leaving now." Lucifer got up and began leaving.

Charlie snapped back to reality and chased after her dad, "Dad, wait!" but he didn't stop "Please you have to tell me about this Abel guy! Dad! Plea-Enough!" Lucifer glared at her, his horns sprouted and flames appearing "Your not a kid anymore Charlie!" The king was about to continue but looking at his daughter's tearful face caused him to snap out and hug her comfortingly "Oh Char-bear! I am so sorry! It's just that you know Eden is a sensitive topic to me. You're a big girl now! So Please don't push me to talk about it, okay?" Charlie nodded and they both waved an awkward goodbye to each other but Charlie knew her dad was hiding something.

It had been a day since they started Adam's treatment for his fever and currently, he was screaming in excruciating pain causing Vaggie to panic as she tried to snap Adam out of his nightmare by shaking him and calling his name "Adam! wake up!" but no response and he began tossing and turning even more, the fallen angel clenched her fists as she tried one last time "Wake up, Dad!" and Adam's golden eyes snaped open.

Adam coughed as he tried to sit up and took the glass of water that Vaggie handed him gratefully. "Thank you..." Adam said weakly, Vaggie simply nodded and was about to leave when Adam spoke up "Why did you help me?" Vaggie turned back looking at him with a deadpan expression "Charlie would have been sad if you had died and I am not sure if Lady Sera would take it lightly, had we told her you died." Adam chuckled at the idea of Sera just hearing his death and her reaction "But still you didn't answer my question, Vag-Don't call me that and its Vaggie now." the lady crossed her arms as she glared at him "And I already answered your question."

Adam sighed and returned her glare "Don't be so stubborn with me, young Lady!" Vaggie stomped her feet "You don't get to call me that any more! After-after what you fucking did to me!" Adam winced at her mentioning that incident, Vaggie noticed and mentally relished in his pain for a bit "Well I hope you enjoy your fucking stay!" Vaggie roughly opened the door but froze when she heard Adam whisper an apology.

Vaggie turned to him "What did you say?" Adam spoke louder this time "I am sorry, Vaggie." Vaggie lost her balance and had to take the support of the nearby wall, she gently closed the door and slowly slid to the floor looking up at him with a teary eye "Why?" Adam looked down in shame "I wasn't thinking straight that day." Vaggie's gaze hardened "That's your fucking excuse! You weren't thinking straight?" Adam was about to say more but Vaggie beat him to it "You allowed me to call you Dad! You promised you would be there for me even in my darkest hours as a beacon of strength and support! And I was allowed to stay at your residence as your fucking daughter. You did this to me all because I couldn't kill a fucking ten year old?" Vaggie showed him her eye, Adam remained silent causing her to break down even more.

Adam slowly got out of his bed and began treading towards her with weak steps, when he finally reached her, he bent down carefully and enveloped her in a hug "I am so sorry." Vaggie held on to him tightly and began to cry on his shirt "I hate you! I hate you so fucking much, Adam!" Adam held on to her as his shirt was drenched in her tears "I didn't mean for it to end this way." Fuck! it seemed him turning into a human was making him more vulnerable to the storm of emotions he had hid so carefully. Adam teared up as well "That kid reminded me of Cain. And when you let him go... I couldn't bear to watch him get away with his crime. I was so angry that I had forgotten that you were like a daughter to me and wanted to hurt you but I...I couldn't go with and watched silently as Lute had done the job for me." Vaggie cried harder "I know you will never forgive me and I will never be able to forgive myself for doing that to you but please don't cry, Vegas."

Vaggie couldn't hold it any more as she heard the name he would call her when they were alone as father and daughter, tightening her grip on him causing Adam to wince in pain but he gently place his hand on the back of her head slowly comforting her "I hate you, Dad! I fucking hate you..."

Adam smiled as Vaggie fell asleep and gently lifted her in his arms, placing her gently on a nearby sofa and gently kissed her forehead "Sweet dreams, mi polilla." Vaggie stirred a bit before sleeping in a comfortable position. The next day, Adam woke up to find Vaggie missing from the couch and found a tray filled with breakfast and the medication he needed to take for the day. Adam sighed and ate his breakfast in silence, promising himself to make it up to her one day. And on the other end of the door, Charlie was steeling herself to talk to Adam and find the truth her father was hiding from her.

Chapter Text

Charlie opened the door and saw Adam awake but he still looked weak, Charlie approached him carefully "How are you feeling Adam?" Adam groaned in pain "Like shit!" that was a good sign at least he was back to his normal self. They sat in silence for sometime, and Adam opened his mouth to say something but Charlie beat him

"I want to thank you for telling me that I was ignorant of their sins. So I made a list of all their sins and Oh boy! I did not like what I heard but reality is a harsh bitch."

Adam was shocked that she took his words seriously and would try to learn their sins and was starting to regret being rude to her the other day "Oh! Uhm...Your welcome, I guess?" Charlie bit lips as she was holding back from asking something and Adam simply looked at her with a tired expression "Just spill the fucking tea already."

Charlie closed her eyes and asked too fast for him to process "IwanttolearnmoreaboutthemeetingbetweenAbelandmyparents!" Adam raised his hands in a motion telling her to slow down.

Charlie repeated her question and this time slowly enough for him to process. Adam sat down in a thoughtful pose and then looked at her with the most critical expression "Fuck no!" Charlie facepalmed in frustration "Why!?" Adam looked at her with a smile "Simple! No cause I don't want to!"

Charlie got up brought her hands to gather pleading him desperately "Please Adam! I beg you! My dad isn't wouldn't tell me what truly happened and you are the only one who would tell me bluntly disregarding my feelings!" Adam winced at her view of him, was he really that blunt to people? Adam took a deep breath

"Do you really want me to break your little glass fantasy about your parents?"

Charlie took a deep breathe and nodded with a sad smile "They are in Hell, which makes them sinners too... And shouldn't I learn their sins to redeem them as well?"

Adam wasn't dumb, he knew when someone was genuine about something and when they smile to hide their true thoughts. Sadly he knew she was in the first category, Adam sighed "So do you have a guitar or anything similar?" Charlie beamed "I think I have one lying around somewhere..." Adam prayed for the poor guitar to be in at least playable condition.

Charlie had finally found it and thankfully it wasn't in a bad shape and Adam immediately began fine tuning "So...how much do you know of Abel and Cain?" Adam asked her without breaking his concentration on the guitar.

"As much as I know about...well anything about rocket science." Charlie replied nervously, Adam looked shocked "You know about rocket science but not about the most famous tale about jealousy?" Charlie scratched the back of her head in embarrassment "Well it helps in my firework designs!" causing Adam to groan.

"Well looks like I will have to begin from the start." he continued to mumble some curses and when he is done fine tuning the guitar, he takes a deep breathe and slowly plucks each string once.

"Last chance to back down, Charlie! I have a history of breaking hearts." Adam looked at her with something Charlie did not expect him to look at her with... concern, Charlie smiled giving him a thumbs up and Adam began playing a melancholic tune "Then let's begin..."

A tale as old as time,

The eldest named Cain the Bringer of harvest in heap,

And the younger, Abel the keeper of sheep.

The first was ever renowned

but the second was beloved all around.

Despite their different ways,

Too far from the other never spent a day.

The eldest met the devil in disguise of a sage,

And planted seeds of sin from a youthful age.

And it came to fruition,

When the eldest killed his brother in envious rage.

And that my dear Charlie, is a simple summary.

The melodic chirping of birds, chilling but pleasant wind blew across the fields and the sun had yet to pass the horizon to bring forth day. Everyone in a town were fast asleep except for Cain, who was already tending to his fields and took a small break for a few moments to enjoy the serene scenery "My, My! It seems you have already started, Cain."

Cain smiled and looked back to see his father smiling proudly at him. "Good morning Father! How is your health?" Adam sat down beside his son and handed him some sweet berries. they sat in silence enjoying the sunrise and berries.

"I am doing well. But I have heard that you have been a bit disturbed lately, Is everything alright?" Adam looked at his son concerned, Cain sighed "What can I say, Father? I am respected by everyone and my duty as the eldest son is to be a good example to all my siblings but I feel as though I am lacking when it comes to... Abel!" Adam shook his head knowing what his son was going to say

"He is always playing around and doesn't even try to be cautious when he leaves to graze his sheep near the forest. I worry he might get hurt, I even told mom about it but she says that I am overreacting and I should just leave him be. How can I? Is it not my duty as the eldest to guide him?" Cain asked him.

Adam cleared his throat and tried his best to sound wise "Cain, just leave Abel to me and your mother, he is our responsibility. And you have been working very hard lately, why don't you take a break I heard Awan's been looking for you to help taste test some of her food~" Cain blushed at his father's comment.

"That... That was very off-handed Father!" Cain crossed his arms in mock rage causing Adam to laugh "But still, please take a break. I am proud of your work for the past week. Now leave it to me." Before Cain could protest any further his mother popped out from some of the near by bushes and began dragging him away by his arm as she scolded him for not taking care of himself properly. Adam smiled as he watched the duo walk away and began to get ready to work in the field.

"Come on, Cain! Eat one more! Please for my sake." Eve pampered Cain as she served him another plate of boiled eggs "Mom! I am full!" Cain exclaimed "Nonsense! Look at you, You look like a skeleton! I bet you have been skipping lunch again!" Eve placed another egg in his plate and was about to say something when Abel walked in yawning "Morning, Mum..." Abel said as he stretched his arms to take a piece of an egg and ate it. Cain opened his mouth to say something but Eve shoved another piece of egg in his mouth causing him to glare at his mother.

"Abel, fresh up first! Don't walk into the kitchen and just start eating like that!"

Cain nodded in agreement with his mother, Abel simply started walking away but right before he left, he turned back and looked at Cain "You look like a sack of chicken bones, brother." Eve puffed her chest in agreement "See! Even Abel agrees with me!" Cain chewed and swallowed the egg aggressively and yelled "I don't look like a sack of damn bones!!" as Abel darted out the door laughing and Eve snickered as well.

Cain was walking around town when he saw Awan browsing through some of the stores, And Abel just standing nearby. Cain couldn't understand why his chest burned as if it was on fire, whenever Awan was hanging out with Abel and she was doing that more lately. Thus causing the sensation to become even more, Abel was already loved by the townspeople while he was just second tier compared to him.

Cain continued his mental rant about how Cain wished they treated him like Abel as well, how they thanked Abel for looking after and providing the sheep for the town and how he was not supposed to feel this way about his dear brother. Cain was about to continue but he saw Abel leave, and he seized the moment to meet his beloved Awan

Cain looked at his reflection in one of the many mirrors of the store and began adjusting his looks. He took a deep breath and approached her "Hey Awan! what's up?" Cain finger gunned her, which resulted in her tilting her head in confusion "Nothing but the sky and birds, I guess?" Cain became depressed, no one except his father understood his humor, which he did on every rare occasion.

"That's not what I... Never mind, what are you looking at?" Awan smiled "I was browsing through some pots for the upcoming festival! I am going to win this time! Just wait, everyone will fall from the smell itself." Cain dreaded whatever she planned to make.

"I heard you that you have a good eye for wheat and vegetables. Please, help me, Cain!" Awan begged him, Cain couldn't refuse her and decided to help her. Awan cheered in joy and rewarded him with a kiss on the cheek, she began dragging Cain who was still blushing.

"...And this is how you sort through a tomato using colour, texture and size." Cain concluded his lecture and saw Awan clapping with a bright smile "Oh my God! Cain, you have got to be the best farmer I know! No wonder Adam was planning on retiring from the fields." Cain dropped the fruit he was holding as his eyes widened and his mouth agape in shock and disbelief.

Cain laughed nervously "Nice joke Awan!" but she did not return it and stared at him more seriously "I am not joking. In fact, the festival is being held due to this very reason." Cain stepped back "Just a minute. I'll be back soon!" And began dashing back to the fields to find his father, Awan tried to stop him "Cain! Wait!" But Cain was already too far away to hear her, Awan blushed as she sighed in disappointment "I didn't get to tell him about my feelings." she whispered and was about to leave when she felt someone knock on her head "You are such an idiot, sis."

Awan looked up to see Abel crossing his arms and staring at her with disappointment "What was that for! And I am no idiot." she glared at him but Abel was unfazed "Who starts their love confession by telling their crush that they will be replacing their dad?" Awan stared at Abel and sighed "I messed up" Abel nodded "Big time."

Cain ran as fast as he could, searching for his father and finally found him at a riverbank. "D-dad?" Cain choked out the words, Adam simply tapped his hand beside him and Cain walked slowly and sat down beside him. "Cain...I-" but Cain interrupted him "I don't understand why? Why me?" Adam smiled as he watched the river.

"Cain, I am getting old and I am unable to work as hard as I used to. I am afraid that one day, I might join the great seas and oceans and there would be no one for the people of this village to look up to for guidance." Adam looked at him "I was hoping it would not come to this but it slowly made sense." Slowly Adam got up "I needed them to have someone to go to and do you know who came to my mind." Adam looked at Cain with pride "You, Cain. The most responsible person I know. You tended the fields when I was sick and you always worry about Abel and the others."

Cain bowed his head with respect "I will try my best...Dad" He raised his head but the sun was too bright to see his father's face and it seemed as though a being far greater was stretching his hand towards him "Cain, eldest son of Adam, the First man and Eve, the Mother of Humanity. Do you accept the responsibility of tending and maintaining these lands of Eden of Earth?" His mother was truly right when she said that his father was made in the image of God! The sheer brilliance and divinity he radiated made him feel small and pathetic. How could he, a mere mortal, live up to the image of Him, Cain bowed his head in respect and joined his hand with Adam's.

"I accept, Father." The crowd cheered and Abel rushed in ruffling his brother's hair in joy "I am so proud of you, Brother!" Cain laughed as if the day couldn't get any better, Awan kissed him and it turned out that Abel was actually trying to help her confess from the shadows. Cain looked at his brother with tear-stricken eyes and hugged him, they shared a moment that no one dared to disturb but Seth jumped on their backs causing them to fall and the trio began laughing.

Adam smiled as Eve leaned her head on his shoulder watching the three brothers from afar "I hope this lasts forever." Adam nodded and placed his head on top of hers "Me too." and slowly the festivities came to an end.

Cain was walking home when he saw a mysterious figure looming behind a tree "Hey!" he called out hoping to get their attention, the figure giggled and rushed off into the woods. While Cain was afraid to go into the forest at such a late hour, curiosity took over him and he chased after her, that night and many more to come his perception of the world around him changed forever.

years had passed since that day, Abel was lying on the grass and thinking about important stuff when he left something poked him. He ignored it at first but soon it became persistent and irritating, Abel opened his eyes to see Aclima glaring at him "Stop lazing around Abel." Abel smiled at her "Who said that I am lazing around?" His wife crossed her arms "And what exactly are you doing to not call it lazing?" Abel's smile fell "Thinking..." Aclima raised a brow "About what?" Abel sighed as he turned his face away "About Cain."

Cain wasn't the same anymore. Sure he laughed and had fun with him but Abel could sense it, Cain's laugh never felt joyful and his smile felt fake around him. And he wasn't the only one, even Dad noticed it and tried to talk to him but he would always deflect the question. The worst thing was the people in town loved and adored Abel so much that Cain was just there on the sidelines and the rumors were just getting worse as people wanted him to be the leader of the town, which of course he tried to politely refuse and even dad tried to explain to them but they were just so adamant that Cain was just not worth appreciating nor was Seth!

Abel groaned and Aclima simply caressed his head to comfort him "Hey don't sweat about it, I am sure it's just a phase." Abel snorted "Oh please! I ruined his life by being a good person and yours too!" Aclima stared at him blankly "Now, now Abel! I left that dream because I was needed here with you. Besides, I like this simple life we have." Abel sat up "You like this life? Absurd! If I hadn't married you, you would be exploring the world like you always wanted, discovering things that no one knew existed and maybe living a little more fun and adventurous!" Abel screamed in frustration "I wish I never let them convince me to marry you! I wish I didn't overshadow Cain and Seth! I wish I was never a good person!"

Abel felt his cheek sting and he looked up to see Aclima's eyes wet with tears "I don't care if you regret restricting my 'freedom' or your guilt over Cain and Seth's situation, I'll always be here to provide you a shoulder to cry on and help you sort out their situation!But don't you dare regret being a good man!"

Abel was left shocked as his usually calm and collected wife started stomping away in anger but stopped to look back at him "I was here to remind you that tomorrow you have to offer the Angels and God a sacrifice. I advise you take the best and healthiest of the sheep as an offering, I hope you have a nice day Abel." After giving a piece of her mind, she stormed away and that night Abel slept among the sheep.

Abel got up early and prayed to God for a bit to help him make the right choice for the sacrifice. As he was returning he saw one of the sheep give birth to her firstborn lamb, the lamb was pure and untainted by the world as if God was asking him to sacrifice the young one to him.

Abel was tempted but refused to as he would not take a child away from its mother and decided to take the sheep that was given to him when he was first told to protect them now the sheep was old and was still pretty healthy, not to mention the sheep had a lot of sentimental value to him. Thus Abel chose his old companion as his sacrifice.

Abel walked to his wife, who was cooking breakfast and swallowed hard before he spoke "Aclima?" But she didn't turn around to greet him with her bright smile, Abel sighed "I...I am sorry..." Still no response from her.

Abel slowly crept his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder "I promise that I won't regret being a good man...I'll do anything! Please just talk to me or the least scream something." Aclima broke away from his embrace and looked at him with a mischievous grin "That's what I wanted to hear."

Abel laughed as he tried to get a hold of his wife "You lair!" Aclima stuck her tongue out mockingly at him but Abel was successful in capturing her and they simply stared into each other's eyes. Abel slowly lowered his head to kiss her but Aclima successfully escaped his grip and he fell flat on his face.

"Well better make this sacrifice quick if you want to have your treat, my dear~" Abel simply smiled at his wife and quickly kissed her cheek relaying his goodbyes.

Abel reached the place where they were to showcase their sacrifice. Cain stepped first showcasing his finest produce and began describing it with at most pride, most of the angels were impressed by the harvest but it seemed God was not. The way he told about his harvest was as if he was showing off than displaying a sacrifice. God sighed in relief when Cain finished and looked towards Abel.

"Now, it is your turn, Abel." He commanded

Abel showed them his offering and caused an uproar among the angels but God was amused and placed his head on one of his hands as he asked him "If I remember correctly you prayed to me this morning for a worthy sacrifice. So why did you bring this one?" Abel gulped and felt the need to repent but his father's words rang in his ears.

"Abel, when you know what you're doing is right and the universe itself is screaming at you to do it. Don't hesitate! Stick it to anyone who may stop you from doing it." Abel took a deep breath and replied "Because it was the nobler and virtuous choice."

"Noble! More like an insult to God Himself!" one of the angels snarled at him but Abel stood his ground "I am honored that the All Mighty God answered my prayers but I didn't believe it was the right choice and thus as compensation I brought him to you my most cherished companion as a sacrifice!" the angel drew his blade "Then for your transgression, you are punished with Death!"

The angel declared and flew towards him as swift as the wind, Abel did not move but turned a little to see an unknown glint in his brother's eyes and soon closed his own, steeling himself for the blow.

"Michael! That's Enough!" God ordered the angel now identified as Michael to stop, the angel stopped his blade at Abel's neck in time. Michael looked at his father ready to debate but He was in no mood to, God turned towards Abel "You could have sacrificed that lamb and I would have forgiven you but instead, you brought to me, your old aged friend." Abel smiled softly

"How could I separate a child from its mother? when I imagined this happening to me and my wife, I couldn't bring myself to go with and I know if such a situation arose in my family, I would have given my life to keep that kid alive. Thus my stance on the matter."

God smiled blessing Abel, and took his leave. Cain fell to his knees on hearing God's verdict and felt his Hatred and envy boil in his chest, and to rub salt on the wound Abel placed a hand on his shoulder and comforted him! That bitch was right, Abel was always the favored son. Cain couldn't control his emotions anymore and saw a sharp stone.

He picked it up and began dashing towards the unsuspecting man while someone smiled from the shadows.

Cain laughed with a crazed expression and for the first time in his life, he felt satisfied and began mutilating Abel's corpse even more pouring years of jealousy and hate into his work.

After a few minutes, he threw down the rock and screamed at the heavens "Now you must accept my sacrifice! I hope you liked it~" Cain looked back to see his parents, Awan and Aclima rushing to the scene and heard his Father Adam scream "Cain! what have you done!?"

Cain smiled at him "Taking back what is rightfully mine." Adam grabbed his son by the shoulders as he cried "You didn't have to do this!" Cain glared at his mother and Aclima, who was crying beside Abel's body "Step away from him! He was a worthless piece of shit anyway!" and he began to run towards them, Adam tried to stop him but Cain had overpowered him due to his age.

Michael appeared in front of them and held Cain's hand tightly "The Heavens have acknowledged your sacrifice and have decided to give you your just reward!" Cain was thrown to the ground and saw a weird mark on his arm and looked at the angel with contempt and disgust "What have you done to me?"

Michael glared at him and simply replied "You have been cursed to wander the lands of earth never attaining peace and for spilling Abel's blood on the soils of land, you will be unable to grow the crops you prided yourself on so much." Awan fell at Michael's feet and begged him to reduce Cain's sentence but Cain interjected with pride blinding him "Worry not Awan! For a kind soul would take pity and give me peace."

Michael smiled at him "That is why we marked you! So that all creatures and men would know that should they finish you they receive a punishment seven folds worse!" and with that Michael bid fare well to the family and left them to mourn in peace the loss of two sons.

Cain reached out to Adam "Father?" Adam didn't raise his head as he clutched Abel's body harder "Leave Cain! And never return! I have lost two sons today, I don't want to lose another one due to a murderer." Cain's heart broke at his father's words and left with Awan in tow for the next five thousand years to come.

Lilith watched the carnage and consequences unfold with pride. Sure, it took her a few years to break the poor boy's heart and manipulate him, causing him to despise his dear brother and kill him.

Oh! How this moment was going to be one of the most cherished ones in her life! She couldn't stop herself from enjoying as she watched sin be reintroduced for the second time into the world of humanity and destroy Adam's family just as he did hers! And now she had the perfect pawn against Heaven for her revenge.

Adam began coughing and Charlie handed him a glass of water. "Thank you." Adam placed the glass beside the table "Now that you know something about Cain and Abel. Let's skip the nitty gritty parts and jump straight to the core. The truth of the extermination." Charlie was still processing the fact her mother might have been involved in the first murder and was starting to dread just thinking about the true reason for the extermination and how her parents might have been involved in Abel not returning to Heaven!

Charlie clenched her eyes and fists preparing herself for harsh reality.

Adam was about to start but he stopped upon seeing Charlie tremble "How about we do this some other day?" Charlie opened her eyes and was confused "What? But-*cough*" Adam started coughing again, causing Charlie to hand him the glass again "See what I am saying!*cough* I have yet to recover completely. So shoo! Shoo! Shoo away from here, unless you want my fever!" Charlie smiled at Adam "Uhm rest well! See you later bye-bye! Adam!" and she dashed out of the room. "You could have told her the truth, you know."

Adam sighed as Vaggie entered the room holding his lunch. "And break her glass fantasy of her parents being heroes no way!" she simply shook her head and handed him the tray "She is not as delicate as you think, Adam." Adam sighed.

"No kid should hear what horrors and atrocities their parents have committed, no matter how mature or strong they claim to be. Most kids would break and never look at their parents the same, and some might take the blame of their parents onto their shoulders to do 'right' by their victims. But your girl seems to be a weird mixture of both!"

she simply nodded, not wanting to drag this conversation longer and was about to leave the room "Vaggie! Wait!" The angel looked back at her dad Adam "Yeah, what?" Adam looked at her nervously "There is something I need to tell you..."

Alastor was having a nice afternoon walk when a steel bowl was thrown at his face, hitting him and spilling its contents, ruining his suit! Alastor was furious "Who did this better have a death wish! So, that I won't fulfill it!" he looked up to see the pesky girlfriend of the princess "You tried to kill him with poison!" Alastor eyes widened slightly but he covered it quickly "What makes you think I did it? And how are you sure it's not one of those humans can eat but animals would die situation?"

Vaggie glared at him "I am not have proof but if I find out you were involved..." Alastor felt her grip his collar and felt a sense of Deja Vu as she whispered in his ear "I will make sure that you will suffer for hurting my Dad!" Vaggie glared into his eyes with a snarl "Got it, Bambi~" and released her grip and walked away to cool herself as Alastor sat on the ground panicking and mumbling about some old woman. After an hour or so, he got up and walked back to the hotel.

Alastor walked in grumbling and was flabbergasted by what he saw.

Charlie handed Lucifer an ice pack for his blackened eye and broken nose, Husker was helping Angel untangle his arms and Cherri seemed to be sleeping on the floor with a broken bottle lying beside her. Charlie noticed Alastor and smiled nervously at him, Alastor glared but his smile didn't leave as he spoke "Your girlfriend is on a fucking warpath! If it were anyone else, I would have ripped them limb to limb for ruining my suit! I will tell you this only once, keep her in-line or I will have to~" and strutted back to his room as Charlie apologized for Vaggie's behavior. "Ouch!" Angel screamed as Husker pulled on the wrong arm causing the knot to get tighter "Huh, I thought you were into that shit?" Angel glared at him "I don't like getting hurt! I only act like I like it!!"

Adam looked out the window wondering if he did the right thing giving Lilith permission to stay in heaven "Why shouldn't your daughter or even husband know about you staying there? How could a sinner defeat the fucking queen of hell? Who the hell are you ' Root of all Eve'il ' ?"

It was said if two sins met and didn't start fighting for dominance, it was a miracle but if four Sins sat in a room without any fights, it was suspicious. The sin of Wrath, Lust, Gluttony and Greed were currently lodged in a meeting room waiting for someone in a secluded location in the Pride ring.

"How much longer do we have to wait!?" The sin of greed Mammon yelled as he slouched.

"Indeed. No offense Sa't but does your guest not know that it's disrespectful just to keep a sin of hell waiting and not to mention four of them?" Asmodeus, the embodiment of Lust enquired. He sighed and began checking his watch, he had a date with Fizzy to attend.

"Calm down everyone! I am sure she didn't mean to be late, maybe she is stuck in traffic, I guess?" Satan chuckled nervous, where the fuck was this woman! As if on cue, A lady entered in a regal dress befitting for the eyes of royalty and a beautiful mask adored her face but her hat was an eyesore.

"Sorry for the delay! We may begin this meeting." These words were spoken with sincerity as she bowed her head in front of them, Satan bowed his head in return and the others followed his lead except for Mammon.

"Why have you called us here, Whore?" Satan looked at him with a shocked expression and was about to scold him but the lady raised her hand signaling him not to "I was going to answer that question in the given time. Please have a seat." the lady addressed the room and was about to answer their biggest question her purpose when the sin of greed intentionally dragged his chair making a screeching sound but she ignored him.

She opened her slides and began narrating "Most of you believe that the king and queen of Hell are the most powerful beings but I say we overthrow them and create a new status q-Hahaha! No fucking way!" Mammon laughed at her as he held his belly, Satan's grip tightened around the desk forming cracks "Mammon! That was disrespectful! She hasn't even made her case yet!"

"This lowly Fuck thinks that she can overthrow the king and queen of fucking Hell!" He wiped a stray tear from laughing so hard but the woman remained unfazed "I bet she would Kill her own fucking husband and children to gain more power and wealth, then by marrying some rich douchebag just for a few" her hair flared a little and her eyes glared holes into his soul but she wanted him to make the first strike

"I am so sorry to hear that you lost your Imp-toy and are being sued for copying LuLu Land. Must be pathetic as the sin of greed to never succeed in having satisfactory monetary gain~" the lady smugly smirked under her mask as Mammon's face contorted in rage

"A sad sack of shit if you ask me~"

Asmodeus snickered at her choice of words "And I am starting to understand that inferiority complex of yours cause no matter how much you boast about being the ring leader or the man-in-charge, you are nothing but a second rate clown compared to Lucifer." the sin of Gluttony tried to hold her laughter but was unable to.

He became furious upon being insulted and flipped the table "That's it! I don't care who the fuck you are! No one insults me like that!" and raised his fist to punch her but he was immobilized as vines began to wrap around his body and a flower opened releasing a fragrance that made him feel drained. A few stray vines moved towards her forming a stairway to him. She took careful and elegant steps to show them that if she ever did something it was done with caution, planning and perfection all while humming an eerie tune.

"You question who I am yet do not recognize me~" As she stood in front of him with a smile, he tried to retort back but no words were forming in his mouth, now that he had a closer look she was as tall or maybe a little taller than their queen "You all seem very uninformed about me, so I'll just introduce myself to you all. I am Roo, Evil and Hell itself~" Roo bowed causing the Sins to freeze in fear "And if you do not wish to suffer Lily's fate, you will side with me."

As a vine brought forward large curved magenta-coloured horns and on closer inspection the horns were confirmed to be of their queen, the very embodiment of her pride. The younger Sins gulped in fear

"Y-you are not going t-to kill us, are you?" Beelzebub looked at her terrified, she had heard only rumors of the demon named Roo, a sinner so ancient and powerful that even the King and queen of literal Hell feared her. And now seeing her display Lilith's horns like a trophy confirmed her fears.

"Hahaha! What no! I am not going to kill my future partners in crime except for him maybe! Or if you decline my offer very rudely~" Roo smiled turning to her as she pointed towards the weakening Sin, who was foaming from his mouth "Please forgive his insolence, Roo." Wrath pleaded with the demon. After a few moments, she released him and fell flat on his face, Bee checked for any sign of him being alive and gave Satan a thumbs up "He's okay but we should probably take him to a doctor." he nodded and looked at the Evil Incarnate "What are you planning, Roo?" she giggled at his suspicious gaze.

Satan bowed down to her and sat down on one knee "We'll welcome you with open arms, your Highness." Bee looked at Roo with expectant but wary eyes and Asmodeus took a deep breath, Soon the two Sins followed Wrath's example and bowed down to her on their knees.

"What about mams?"

"Send him this contract and tell him to sign it or there would be a new Sin in his place."

"Yes Ma'am."

Roo looked out the window smiling with pride and the sheer thought of her finally getting her well-deserved revenge, Now all she had to do was wait till Alastor killed Adam and if he failed he knew the consequences.

She climbed Wrath's shoulder trying to light a cigarette but her lighter was defective, Asmodeus snapped his fingers erupting a small flame on its tip and held it closer for Roo to light her cigarette. She grinned and lit it taking a long puff "Maybe I should pay our little Bambi a visit after a while~"

It was believed that the Wrath ring never experienced such a strong storm, some even forecasted that soon pride was going to experience a bigger and more brutal one, the locals believed that they heard a sinister laugh echoing through the storm. Unknown to them, it held a small warning "Welcome to Hell, Morningstars~"

Chapter Text

It is said that everyday in Heaven is always a happy day and currently Pentious felt the exact opposite.

He laid down on a hill watching the clouds take various shapes some were recognizable and some seemed to be simply clouds with a random design "Hey Pen!"

Pen was startled, jumping in reflex and sat up in a fighting stance, only to calm down after seeing it was Emily who looked at him with a sheepish grin "Sorry Pen!" The redeemed sinner sighed and laid on his back again with a depressed expression.

Emily pouted as she realized he had been like this for a month and at this rate, Pentious would be the only soul to be unhappy in Heaven and that to under her supervision!

"Hey, how about we go for a walk?" Emily said with a smile

Pen shrugged "Sure, beside I got nothing to do anyway." Emily squealed and began telling him different places they could visit.

...

"So how's the ice cream, Pen?" Emily asked as she watched the sinner take what looked like the new angel's first taste of Heaven's version of ice cream.

Tears welled up in his eyes and he sniffled "It-it just reminds me of my son and wife..." And he devolved into a full blown emotional breakdown and Emily hugged him as she whispered words of comfort.

After a few moments, the angel calmed down and released Emily from their hug, He heard someone crying and turned his head to see a kid who looked like Bunny with tears in his eyes "I miss my father and Mom too, Mr. Angel!" And hugged him tightly "And I think I am lost?!"

...

"So you are a redeemed sinner?" the boy asked him curiously after calming down with a bowl of ice cream

The older man nodded in reply "So...Did you make any friends?" he asked Pen like a Father on his child's first day of school, The snake sinner chuckled "At first, I made more enemies than friends but If you ask me now...Yes, I did." Pentious smiled proudly but he needed to ask the bunny on more pressing matters.

"So...Where do you live, kid?" Pentious asked him

"Hmm...I am not supposed to tell strangers."

"Kid, I am trying to help you get back to your family and we're in Heaven, No one is going to harm you. So please tell me where do you live."

The boy turned away from Pen "Mother always said never tell strangers our address." the serpent-like man groaned even more in frustration and began racking his brain for ideas, then he got one and shared it with Emily.

"Well what's your name?" Pentious asked him with a smile and the boy ate a spoonful of his ice cream with a suspicious look at him "My name is Frank, Mr. Ex-Sinner?" Pen was a bit disappointed but Emily could ask St. Peter with this little info and the description of the kid's appearance.

He watched as the boy stretched his arm forward for a handshake and Pentious shook it while the seraphim flew off to meet St. Peter to enquire about the boy's address "Sir Pentious." the boy snickered at the name and Pentious looked amused "What's wrong?"

The boy smiled a widely "It's just a joke my dad used to make before he... anyway that doesn't matter. So one day, we went to the majestic zoo of London and we saw a snake in one of the enclosures. Hahaha then dad shouted with a lisp 'Greetings Sir Pentious! Quite the pleasant day it is! How art thee doing!' and an upper class nobleman beside us was offended and we were escorted out of the zoo and banned for a year... But it was a fun day!"

Pentious chuckled "Your dad sounds like a fun guy to be around. I wish I could meet him." the boy nodded his head and stared with longing in his eyes "He was..." And they sat in an awkward silence the boy was about to ask if he was his father but Emily had returned from St. Peter before he could.

Emily arrived with a piece of paper in her hand "Well I got the address from Pete. So, let's take you back to your Mom, Frank." Kid nodded and they began walking to his home together.

Pentious smiled as he watched Frank lead the way back to his home, humming and playing a few songs on a violin that Emily had created for him but soon they realized something or someone was missing. The bunny-like angel pulled the older man's sleeve and pointed towards very tired looking Emily who was slowly following them and was about to collapse any moment.

"You okay, miss Emily?" The snake asked worriedly

"Hey Emily, do you want to take a break?" The boy asked Emily who replied with a thumbs up and fell flat on her face in exhaustion. The duo left her to rest as Pentious wanted to try some food in Heaven.

"I 'Frank'ly want to try to have some lunch now..."

The boy giggled "Me too."

Pentious and Frank were walking towards a diner when they saw a woman being thrown out as she shouted "I am going to make you regret this! You hear me!"

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say, freak!" one of the patrons laughed as he waved her off and she sat down muttering curses under her breath "Hello miss Lute." Lute looked up and scowled at Pentious with disdain "Uh! it's you." The redeemed sinner smiled nervously

"Why were you thrown out, Miss?" Frank asked her innocently causing her expression to soften "If you found out, you would do the same." the kid pouted and crossed his arms "I won't act like those bullies, I promise!" his eyes and voice held a childish innocence, determination and wonder making Lute smile.

Lute looked softly at him, reminded why she and her sisters slayed those sinners in hell on extermination day. Sure most of the reason she slayed them was because she wanted to make them suffer and it being very fun but the fact remained that one of the main reasons was to protect the souls of heaven from their abusers, murders and what not. Lute gently patted the boys head

"Maybe when you grow older."

The exorcist angel chuckled heartily as the young boy whined about how he was two hundred years old and not some kid but the moment was ruined when she saw some angels throw stones and various types of blunt items at some of her sisters and started screaming at them

"You killed my family down there!"

"I don't get why they allowed people like you into heaven!"

"You all are just as bad as those sinners!"

"I glad those sinners killed Adam like the worthless garbage he is!" An angel yelled as he threw a stone hitting one of the exorcists above her eye and everyone cheered as the man smiled proudly, only to be rewarded with a punch to the face by Lute. Lute rushed to her sisters' aid "Are you all okay?" A few of them gave her a thumbs up and some replied with simple nods "Good take her and lets leave." they opened their wings and were about to take off.

Suddenly Lute was thrown to the ground by an angel clad in armor "You have broke protocol exorcist Lute." Lute got up and was about to draw her blade when she recognized the angel as one of Archangel Michael's captains "What are you doing here, captain May?"

"I could ask you the same, Why did you attack a winner?" the captain tilted her head as she glared at Lute.

"I was simply protecting my sisters." Lute tried to reason with the infamously rigid captain who pulled out her blade "I am sorry, my friend...Adam should have left you all to believe you were worthless experiments with no real humanit." and she flew towards her with her blade

Lute parried her attack but was thrown off balance and groaned "I should have kept that fucking arm..." And jumped to her side barely dodging May's strike "I have to say you have gotten better, Lieutenant." Lute ducked and dodged to the best of her abilities but May had the upper hand and punched her in the gut causing Lute to kneel over in pain.

Lute didn't look up knowing what was about to happen "Stop!"

May stopped and saw a small winner blocking her path to Lute by standing in front of her with his arms stretched, her gaze softened at his bravery "Step aside, Winner. Else you might get hurt."

"I promise you that she was just trying to protect her sisters. Please forgive her." The boy begged her but the Captain didn't seem fazed by his request, harshly pulled him aside and began to strut towards the exorcist with her blade in position "I am sorry but Rules are rules."

Frank couldn't close his eyes watching the scene unfold in horror as the captain raised her blade to execute Lute. The captain swung her blade but it did not move, she tried a bit harder but in vain "Leave the exorcist to me, Captain." The captain was petrified in fear and fell to her knees with her head bowed in respect "Lady Sera."

"Raise, Captain." the angel rose and stood in attention "State the purpose of this unapproved execution of Lieutenant Lute." Sera glared at the captain

"She has wounded a winner." And the angel began to narrate everything that happened till she arrived at the scene "What is your judgement on this, High Seraph?" Sera closed her eyes and walked past the captain to help Lute

"She was only protecting her sisters. So lets leave it there and move on with our work."

"Saved her sisters by punching a winner because he said something bad about Adam. I bet you aren't punishing her because she was Adam's Lieutenant!" the Captain accused

Thunder and lighting erupted in the sky "Do not accuse me of favoring my son because I didn't choose your method in punishing her!" Sera glared at the captain causing her and everyone around them to tremble in fear "I won't let her leave without facing any consequences, I guarantee that!"

Sera took a deep breath and slowly the sky became normal "You may leave, Captain." The captain saluted and was about fly away "One more thing, Captain. I decide what happens with the exorcist soldiers, not you or Michael." With that in mind the captain flew away and Sera let a sigh of relief "Thank you, Lady Sera."

Sera looked at Lute and pinched her nose in frustration "Do you know what this means, Lute?" Lute gulped "That I am going to be thrown out of Heaven?" Sera shook her head "No...Hopefully not but it also means that Michael is returning from his expedition and I won't be able to help you and your sisters nor let you all enter into this part of Heaven anymore. Not after this stunt at least. But please take care and be safe by creating a distance from danger, Lute." Lute bowed her head "I will, Lady Sera." And after exchanging farewells, Sera flew back to her office.

"Hey Lute!" Lute groaned at the bubbly voice that called out to her "What the fuck do you want, Emily?"

"Hmph, so rude but anyway would you like to join us help Frank reunite with his mom!" Emily pouted at first but she shrugged and hoped Lute would join them. Lute looked at the kid and her face formed into a ghost of a smile "I owe him for my life." Emily looked confused and was about ask her but Lute cut her off "So yes, I will join but after dropping him home, I am out of there, got it?" Emily jumped in excitement as Lute sighed tiredly, this was going to be a long trip.

"Uhm are you sure this is the right place, Em?" Pen asked the seraphim as they stared at a cottage in the middle of a forest, Emily simply nodded with an excited smile as a reply.

Lute looked down to see the kid twiddling with his fingers nervously "What's wrong? Is this not your home?" She asked gently

The boy shook his head rapidly "It's not like that! It's just..." Frank looked away in shame "I have been gone for a week and I am just nervous to see her again." Lute bent down to his height and patted his head with a soft smile "I know it's scary but be brave, kiddo. She's your mom! Sure she would chew your head off for this stunt but she would be more relieved that you're safe."

"Yeah you're right...Thanks!" Frank brightened up with a smile as he hugged her and slowly walked towards the door.

"That was very sweet of you, Miss Lute." Pentious looked at her as Emily smiled at her teasingly causing Lute to turn her face away from them to hide her blush "Just cause I am rude and hateful towards sinners, doesn't mean I can't be kind and polite! So both of you, back the fuck off!" her embarrassing outburst caused the duo to giggle.

the trio watched Frank take a deep breath and knock on the wooden door and they heard hurried footsteps from the other side, the door opened to reveal a woman with eagle like wings and talon like hands while the rest of her appearance was more human in nature and looked at the kid and for some reason she felt familiar to Pentious.

"Franklin Henry Aquilae!" the mother held a scowl on her face and the boy stood there nervously when he saw her fuming "Hey mom... " but her face hardened even more causing the kid to panic even more "I can explain!"

"You left without telling me where you were going for a week! A fucking fricking week! Scaring me senseless! I searched everywhere for you, asked around and begged the nearby helper angels to find you! And finally you come back while troubling these gentle souls trying to find eternal peace!" The boy's head hung down in shame as his mother continued "What you have done is reckless, stupid, irresponsible and..." the boy trembled expecting more but was stunned when the woman pulled him into a tight hug and her tears slowly fell on top of his head as she whispered shakily "I am just glad you came back home safe..."

"Mom...I'm sorry." Frank hugged his mother back tightly as they silently cried in relief of being reunited.

They broke apart from their embrace and the mother looked at him sternly "You're still in trouble young man!" the trio watched as the boy simply smiled without a care as he was happy to see his mother again. the mother shook her head with a smile and looked at them bowing her head gracefully "My name is Caroline Aquilae and I thank you for bringing my son back to me safely."

Cogs in Pentious' brain began turning until everything fell in place the woman in front of him was his..."Carrie?"

The woman looked at him shocked "That name..." she whispered gently "Henry? Is that really you?" she said with disbelief and looked at him wide eyes, Pentious nodded and was about to rush in to hug her but she pushed him back with tears threatening to fall "You left us to die..."

"Carrie- Don't call me that!" Henry flinched at her sudden scream and Frank rushed to see what the commotion was about "Mom? What's wrong?" but she couldn't hear him as her mind was clouded with rage.

"You left us to die, Henry!" Frank looked at Henry with wide eyes and hide carefully and quietly to learn more about the situation.

"Caroline, listen! I didn't mean any of this to happen. I am sorry!" Henry looked at her heartbroken but she turned away "Sorry doesn't fix anything, Henry. It doesn't matter how sorry you are...It won't change the past and the consequences when you ran away that we had to pay for. Did you ever think about us?" she whispered the last part but Henry heard her.

"I knew it was you, Dad." Everyone turned around to see Frank crying with a smile and was about to hug him but his mother held him back "Frank, sweetie, go to your room." Frank looked at her pleadingly "But Mom-Please!" His mother glared at him sternly causing Frank to pull his arm away from her "I hate you!" And ran to his room.

The woman sighed and sliding onto her knees tiredly, Henry was about to place his hand on her shoulder but hesitated as she slowly teared up "I am sorry, Caroline...But I promise to make it up to you both!" she laughed bitterly at his sincere words.

"You don't know how many names they called us, You don't know how many times people threw stones at our windows or the death threats that they mailed to us. You can't imagine how terrified I was to send Frank to school or for me to go outside to buy groceries!" Henry winced by just imagining them but it seemed she wasn't done yet.

"The night we died, I fought a fucking drunken mob to protect our-No! My son! We couldn't run anywhere because we were declared criminals by association all across the country and no one was willing to give us a roof because their family died in that war. Frank was killed in his sleep while I was burnt along with the fucking house! Was it all worth it in the end, Henry?" she looked up at him with her mascara running all across her cheeks "...I wish you never came to Heaven." She walked inside and slammed the door on his face

Pentious held his chest in pain and began slithering away, Emily tried to call out to him but he didn't look back.

"Lute...I don't get it why did this happen?" Emily looked towards the exorcist hoping to gain answers "What did you expect to happen? Be a little realistic, Em. Not everything can be solved with a sorry and a hug, sometimes it takes more than just that to gain forgiveness." Emily looked back at the door and back at Lute "So what do we do now?"

"We'll have to give them time to adjust to the fact that he is in Heaven. And then proceed with anything else." Lute looked up to see Frank staring at them from the window and hesitantly gave him a small wave, And they left.

The very next day, Pentious was called to the angelic court to discuss the further actions to be taken about the hotel and the redeemed sinner, and the worst thing it was being broadcasted live all over Heaven. Emily cleared her throat and began the meeting

"Greetings to all angels present here! I would like to say that redemption is now possible. I suggest we completely stop all extermination related activities and give Princess Charlie Magne a chance."

"All those who agree with her may press the green button and those who don't, may press the red one. Please remember you can only press the button once, so think carefully before you vote." Sera explained as they began voting.

The results showed that at exactly fifty-one percent of the council agreed with the youngest Seraphim "With this we shall discuss this-You all hosted a meeting without me~" Sera froze when she realized Michael had arrived clad in his armor, his blade attached to his hip and a cape concealing his wings.

"I am sorry, Michael. We had completely forgotten that you returned from your millennium long expedition." Sera looked at him with a strained smile.

"I say that the redemption of Henry William Aquilae is a fluke and we should reinstate the extermination." Everyone in the court began murmuring amongst themselves

Emily got up "It was not a fluke!" Michael looked at her amused "Prove it."

"What?"

"I said prove it to us that redemption is even possible. After all the Princess of Hell can be called a hypocrite for believing everyone has goodness in them yet have Adam murdered."

Michael looked at everyone "Can we really trust someone who has killed a man who voiced his opinion on redemption which just so happened to be opposing hers?" some of the angels began to rethink their decision of supporting Emily's case

"What do you say, Mr. Aquilae?" All eyes turned towards Pentious, who was still down at the fact that his wife wouldn't see him and wouldn't let Frank near him again "I-I think we can trust her..."

"You think?" one of the Angels looked at Pentious angrily, Emily began to panic on seeing the court slowly turning in Michael's favor

"This is just stupid! Lady Sera we request for a revote!" Many angels began voicing their agreement.

"So it is settled then we shall reinstate the extermination and this time my forces will take care of the issue." Michael said with a smile and turned towards Sera "I promise you, Sera. No angel of mine would die so humiliatingly like Adam." Sera's fists clenched as she gritted her teeth to keep herself from lashing out on Michael and repeated the procedure of the voting again.

But before anyone could vote, Lute burst into the court with a short of breath "I...Object...Lady Sera..."

"Adam's lieutenant?" Michael looked amused "What are you doing here?" Lute took heavy steps and passed an angel a letter and soon it was passed all across the court till it reached Michael

"What? You're going to represent Adam..." Michael looked at the letter again and then back at Sera as if asking her if this was a joke

"You are defiling the court by your mere presence Exorcist!" Pentious winced at the amount of venom the word was spoken with, making him imagine what his wife and son had to endure.

Lute adjusted her round glasses with her hand ignoring the angel "I object that we shouldn't simply kick start the extermination without any given proof that redemption can't happen again." Everyone were stunned hearing the angel say that.

Sera motioned for her to continue "Yes, you all might be wondering why am I supporting redemption all of a sudden...Well I have gone fucking kookoo and this is the only way sir can reach heaven again. So if we kick start the extermination, he will die and the exorcist angel which are me and my sisters will be treated like shit again. Only this time even worse then the last one. And because I promised a kid to save his dad" she whispered the last part which thankfully no one heard.

"What a selfish angel you are!" an angel accused Lute, to which she simply shrugged "What did you expect? I didn't exactly atone for Heaven ya know." Sera raised an eyebrow "Please make your case, Lute"

"I can't believe I am doing this...ahem...Ladies and Gentlemen , I present you Exhibit A: The first redeemed soul in Heaven, Adam!" everyone gasped and a few of them fainted

"What really him?" an angel with wheels for a head said but Sera asked them to be patient

"Indeed as you have heard the story of Adam, he participated in the original sin but achieved Heaven? How was Eve not able to? Well my fellow angels It is quite simple he was redeemed!"

"Objection!" Captain May! Where fuck did she come from!?

"Well isn't that the whole purpose of life to weigh the scale based on your actions!" the Captain wagged her finger with an all knowing grin

"Well I will ask you a question, I work day and night with no break, I play the roles that need, I am the one you call in your most darkest times, who am I?" Sera smiled "Hmph! Quite simple the most sacred duty of all creation, A mother!" Lute smiled smugly "Note that down, Lady Sera." The captain looked confused "What does this have to do with redemption?"

Lute wagged her finger teasingly "Patience, my dear captain. Well from the given info that would mean that Eve held the most Sacred duty of all creation being a mom. Hence she should have been the first redeemed soul by your logic. That would mean your logic has a flaw!" Take that!

The captain glared at her "But that doesn't mean shit about redemption!" Lute adjusted her glasses smugly "It's elementary, My dear. Think about it, if such a sacred duty couldn't cancel out the sin of being tricked into eating the apple then how did Adam who took a bite willingly?" This question had left everyone confused indeed how did Adam get forgiven?

Lute straightened her suit with a wide grin "I believe that He never ate the fruit! Or it simply got stuck in his throat. And the only sin he did commit was harboring hatred in a small corner of his heart towards the Hellish couple which was overshadowed by his Achievements that helped Humanity!" Take that!

Michael leaned forward in amusement "Very interesting observation but still what does it have to do with redemption?"Take that?

Lute laughed nervously "It simply establishes that whole scale thing but now to the main point his fall!" Lute stood straight and her eyes sharpened "His time in Heaven made him indulge in sin!"

"What in the name of the Lord is going on!?"

"He indulged in all the seven sins in the respective order: Lazing around way too much then necessary, Wrath by trying to get approval over extermination, gluttony as he could be seen eating all the time, Pride by being the first man to do almost everything thus giving way to the other three sins!" Lute took a deep breath "Thus proving that if a soul in heaven can indulge in sin, then the opposite in hell is also possible!"Take that! Captain May and Michael were stunned perhaps they underestimated the situation. Sera and the council took note and nodded

"And that was Exhibit A, Now to Exhibit B: Henry William Aquilae or Sir Pentious!"

Pentious was called to the stands and was given the oath to only tell the truth which he pledged along with Sera.

"Mr. Aquilae or Sir Pentious, Did you commit the sin of betrayal by leaving your platoon and your family to their deaths because you were a coward?" An angel who appeared to be another one of Michaels captains asked him.

He nodded "Well Lady Seraphim. He is guilty and undeserving of Redemption." May facepalmed and flew up to her fellow Captain "Justin, We're supposed to prove that redemption is worthless and not possible." Justin scratched his neck nervously "Sorry, what I meant was Heaven. Hehehe...Next one, Why didn't you take your family with you?"

Justin began blasting Pentious with question after question, breaking his self-esteem and giving him a bad image in front of the council "Well esteemed council, I have proven that redemption is plainly a stupid idea and that this happened only due to the transfer of power from an angel to a slightly less bad version of the sinner, Sir Pentious!"

"Objection!" everyone looked at Lute who raised her hands as if to say it wasn't her "I said that!" only to see Emily fly towards Captain Justin

"What you asked him weren't question but simply to break him!" The seraphim accused the captain but he neither deny it nor did he say anything to defend himself.

"Pen, look at me." The angel looked at her but was unable to look her in the eyes "Pen, do you regret doing those actions?" he nodded

"Do you remember before dying in hell?" "Yes, I remember sacrificing my life to save my friends and confess to a crush of mine..." Pentious blushed at the last part.

"One more thing, Pen. Did you want to change?" "Yes, I wanted to change with all of my heart."

"The last question not mine but your Wife's. Did you ever think about them in your life or afterlife? Was redeeming yourself worth it?" Tears streamed down his cheeks at the question.

"There was never a day in my life or afterlife where I didn't think of how they were doing or where they were. Sometimes I wish I had been a braver man for their sake. I know the past can not be changed and no matter how hard I try, I can never never make it up to them but a good friend of mine said that it starts with sorry and whatever steps you have to take next can be determined as we progress. They don't have to forgive me but I want them to know that now I will always be there when they need me. And it was worth all the time and effort I spent changing in Hell to see them again. So yes, it was worth it."

Frank comforted his crying mother as he hugged her "See mom. He loves us and he promised he won't leave us again." and He smiled at the TV when they showed Lute "Thanks for saving him, Miss Lute."

"So, as you all have seen he clearly regrets his actions causing him to change and strive to be better soul. And he finally proved it when he died protecting his friends thus getting himself redeemed." Sera called in for the voting begin

Lute, Emily and Pentious watched anxiously as everyone began casting their votes and the board began lighting up to show...Redemption had won barely beating Extermination by one percent and the trio cheered and danced around the court, Sera smiled as she read the verdict "According to the voting, we have taken into account that the Hazbin hotel will be allowed to continue with its program of redeeming sinners and by the end of this year, they will have to show us their results. The court has been adjourned."

Lute was leaving when Emily stopped her "Lute, wait." Lute stopped and looked at her "What?" Emily smiled at her "Thank you, Lute. If you hadn't helped I would have been overwhelmed by Michael and his captains"

Lute shook her head "whatever just tell Charlie the news and if possible ask how Adam's doing. Well see ya later, got a lot of work to do as leader of the exorcist division." Emily and Pentious smiled as they watched her leave.

"Hey Pen..." Pentious looked at her "Yeah?" Emily smiled back at him "Lets give her a gift."

Bonus:

Emily: Hey Pete, can you help me?

St. Peter: Sure, what is it?

Emily: I need the address of a winner.

St. Peter:(chuckles) The last time you asked me for the address of a winner...It did not end well.

Emily:(groans) It was a small mistake and I didn't mean for it to happen

St. Peter:(Laughs) Come on, kid! I am just kidding. So who's address do you need?

Emily:(smiles) Franks!

St. Peter:(Confused) Frank? You mean Benjamin?

Emily:(Shakes her head)No, not him. the rabbit one.

St. Peter:(leans forward on his desk a little frustrated) Woman, do you know how little that narrows it down to?

Emily began making hand gestures for him to Identify the angel

St. Peter: Okay, okay, I get that you mean the bunny kid Frank who is this tall and might be missing for sometime from his home, yes?

Emily nods

St. Peter: Well there's only one person who matches that description...(Turns pages) Franklin Henry Aquilae s/o Caroline Aquilae... Here's the address...They live isolated near the forest section due to their bad experiences and memory with huge crowds.

Emily: Thanks Pete.(flies off to meet Pentious)

St. peter sighs and begins updating the page writing the name Henry William Aquilae "The family has been reunited at last. I hope you do well this time Sir Pentious..."

Adam groaned as he tried to open his eyes against the bright sunlight...Adam's eyes flared open in panic "Why is the fucking Sun in Hell !?" Until he noticed something wrong.

The air, the sky and the world around him was a place he hadn't been since he had died. A place that not even Earth's beauties, even if they were considered paradise could ever compare, "Home..." He choked back a sob "I'm home..." Adam fell to his knees and slowly hovered his hands over the grass as if it would disappear by a single touch.

"Dad..." A ghostly voice whispered, upon realizing who it was his soul shattered.

"Abel?" As if on cue the grass began to wilt, the sky drenched in blood, the fresh and pleasant smelling air turned into a nauseous smell of burnt and rotting flesh, Adam began to feel sweat pour from his forehead and closed his eyes tightly "No!No!No! I am not going to suffer through the same nightmare again!" He felt chains weighing him down as he tried to move and he finally heard a familiar deranged laugh.

"Cain!" Adam snarled as felt his son's hands on his shoulder "Open your eyes,Adam. Don't you want to see your favorite son~" Adam felt his eyelids being forced open as he heard the distant laughter of Lucifer and Lilith "They are enjoying the show~" The first man screamed in pain as Cain tore open his eyes with a disturbing glee "Ò̷̢̩̟̫͐͗͝p̶̨͇̰͑̊͐E̷̺̪̐̈́̚͠n̶̦̞̫͊̿ ̵̨̓͂̾̐Ỳ̷̨̰̾̐͘ơ̵̠̝͑̓U̸͚̔͒̊͐r̵̺̂̐́̕ ̶͕̾E̵̱͋̂̊Ȳ̴͓̖̫̈́e̶͌͜ͅs̵̺̘̿̈́̇!̵̧̕̕ͅ".

"No!"Adam shot out of his bed dripping with sweat, he tried to get off his bed but his legs were still weak from his nightmare. So he decided to take a few moments to calm down and slowly walked toward the balcony in hopes of getting some fresh air.

At first, his mind was slowly drifting towards the fateful day Abel was killed in Hell when he came to preach about redemption, he shook his head in hopes of not wandering to it any further but it soon fell on another depressing matter Heaven.

He sighed as he watched the Heavens from his room's balcony, he left like a bird who was enjoying the limitless sky and suddenly found themselves trapped in a cage forced to watch the same sky it once called home, even though it was right in front of them but unable to spread their wings and enjoy, soon his gaze fell to the hellish landscape before him his cage.

"Uhg! It looks as disgusting if not more, closer than it did in the sky!" Adam's face contorted in disgust as he heard screams and gunshot being fired, "How worse could this get!" And the door slammed open "Boom baby!" Speak of the devil and he arrived, causing Adam to get frustrated "What do you want, Luci?" Lucifer closed the door gently and smiled at him widely, creeping the first man out. "Nothing much except some news from heaven!"

"You have my attention for the next one minute." Adam said flatly trying not to show his hope were a bit high.

"Michael's back!"

"Fuck!" Adam exclaimed

"He tried to reinstate the extermination-" The Devil was interrupted before he could continue "Well, it was good knowing you and I hope he doesn't try to kill me. tell me when he's attacking, I'll go prepare my grave. Uhm, quick question do you want one to?" Adam shrugged as the devil simply shook his head and he slowly walked to bed and slumped on it. Lucifer wanted to tell him the rest but it was amusing to watch the first man like this, burnt out and just depressed, and decided not to tell him.

Lucifer smiled and sat beside him on the bed "What's wrong, Ad?" Adam laughed bitterly at his old nickname "What do you think is wrong ? Abel, Cain or the Eve incident, you tell me!" Lucifer flinched at the venom in his voice, thus deciding to leave Adam on his own till he eventually calmed down. Lucifer sighed and teleported himself out of the room,

Adam looked at the spot where his old best friend used to be and sighed "Just run away like you always do, old pal." Adam was sure his redemption into heaven was really low and Michael is probably going to usurp Sera's throne if she showed any weakness, which was doomed to happen. All things considered he was doomed to die in this hell hole unless he could beg to be taken into Heaven...That's it! He will have to talk to Mike about reconsidering his punishment in Hell, Now all he needed was an escape plan.

The stench was horrible, the water bodies all polluted with chemicals and the sky covered in smoke the place reminded him of the industrial areas on Earth It was worse than it was on Earth! As he walked through the area, he saw some sinners fighting over some crates with a special symbol on them with a stamp that said Carmine crafted. While he didn't know what that meant it must be valuable enough for them to fight over.

"Ugh, I should have took a fucking map with me or something." Adam groaned as he got lost in the vast city, why was it so hard to find a golden glowing building in the middle of a bloody massacre of a city! Maybe he should ask for directions, while Adam in his clear mind would have been smarter than what he was about to do...He will blame the air for containing some chemical that forced him to act dumb.

Adam cleared his throat and yelled loudly catching everyone's attention "Excuse me, but could any of you tell me the way to the Heaven embassy?"

One of the sinners stared at him and opened his mouth to tell him the directions but was punched in the face by what looked like a fox "Hey, isn't he the idiot who was stabbed by that midget to death!?" Adam groaned "Really that's the part you remember of me! Not the fact that I am the first man, Head exorcist and..." Adam looked around to see everyone breaking open the crates and taking out what looked like angelic guns and began loading them with bullets, he started to feel he made a mistake. The sinner who was about to help him whispered loudly "Run...Father..."

"Get him!" Adam ducked from a stray shot just in time and began to run as fast as he could to escape the barrage of bullets and spears, every corner he turned sinners jumped on him most of which missed their mark but some barely scratching him "I have to find a way out of this mess!" This was not how he will die again all because he was stupid to ask directions from sinners! Why the fuck did he even ask them in the first place!

Adam tripped and a sinner took the opportunity to pounce on him to stab him causing the first man to roar in pain. He felt a surge of pain through his lower chest. he looked down to see a knife sticking out of his side where a rib used to be "Fuck..." Adam was growling in pain but he had to survive and he slowly got up on his feet, the sinner laughed at him but Adam responded with a strong left hook, knocking the sinner back.

The first man began to move again through the pain and exhaustion, he took a left turn and was met with a metal fence "Fuck! Its a dead end!" He could still hear them searching for him. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed onto the fence and began climbing it "He's over there!" Shit! Adam began scaling it as fast as he could and reached the top but his adrenalin ran out and he fell onto the other side of the fence far from their reach but his will still burned bright and began dragging himself away from the fence.

One of the sinner was about to go after him but he was stopped by his associates "He is in Overlord territory. Let them handle him." The sinner snarled and spat on the place where Adam was "The next time we meet, I'll make sure you stay dead !" A smile split across his face "If you survive."

Pain was all that he could process and soon his body could not handle the burden and collapsed. Adam dragged himself to a large rock and laid back on it to inspect his wounds, while most of them were mere scratches but the knife wound was the only severe one. He wanted to pull the knife out but his little knowledge in First Aid told him that it would be a bad idea, soon he began coughing blood and caught some of it in his hands.

"Red blood. Pathetic isn't it, Adam?" Adam saw Lucifer sitting on top of the stone, the man growled at him "I-if you think this will k-kill me! Then y-you're wrong, Luci!" Red ichor leaked from his mouth as he glared at the Devil but the Devil simply smiled sadistically.

"Do you know what it reminds me of Adam?" Adam glared at him harder which told him not to continue as he balled his fists

"Of the day when we had Cain torture Abel when that foolish angel came down here to preach~" Adam screamed in rage and tried to punch the king but all he was met with was the top of the stone, cracking it in half "Not even a few words in on that incident and you already want me dead~" He whispered in Adam's ear

"And I'm not even here! You're getting worked up over nothing...You've changed, you're getting weak~ Hahaha!" His laugh, a reminder of his failure of being a father to his oldest on how to deal with jealousy, Adam took a deep breath and tried to calm down "This just an illusion, the real Lucifer is probably at the hotel." and began repeating it like a mantra to keep himself as sane as possible.

Adam's vision was getting blurry and dark, and soon he fell on his knees and began dying. The weird part was that Lucifer had morphed into the figure of a woman with what looked like horns "Lily?" was the last thing he said as he blacked out.

Alastor watched with satisfaction as Adam fell to his knees, it had been a while since he smiled so happy. At first, he had hoped that the pathetic sinner would finish the job after he tripped the first man but Adam proved to be too resilient and made into a slightly safer territory. Realizing that he had to up his game, he created an illusion of Lucifer trash talking with him in hopes that Adam's imagination would make him waste more of his energy and blood, and it worked perfectly with no evidence pointing towards him.

While he would have enjoyed watching the life drained out of this piece of shit, overconfidence blinded him and he walked away from the scene to prepare informing his Mistress on the first's death and perhaps get his soul back

Charlie was in-between an important activity for Angel when Lucifer barged with terror on his face "Adam's missing!" was all it took for Vaggie to grab Lucifer by the shoulders trembling "What do you mean by he is missing!" Lucifer narrated them what had transpired before in hopes that they might find some clues while Charlie tried to calm Vaggie down.

"Calm down, Vaggie." Lucifer said with concern evident in his voice "Calm down?" Vaggie looked at the princess coldly and grabbed him by the collar of his suit "Do you even know what you have done!" Lucifer shook his head franticly as he begged "Please, I didn't mean for this to happen!"

Vaggie looked into his eyes but her resolve slowly broke and let go of him, Charlie had never seen her love so...broken except when she found her after her betrayal and she won't let her feel this sad again "Dad, we have to go find him. Razzle!" Charlie called out to her companion and the duo flew off to find the human.

Angel sat beside Vaggie as he took a sip from his glass "So what's the whole relation between you and the first dick?" Vaggie leaned back on the wall "Heaven was doing an experiment." The spider sat more attentively "Experiment?" Vaggie nodded "An experiment with vengeful souls, souls that were filled to the brim with so much desire for revenge against those who wronged them that most of them didn't even remember their lives or any other skill. And I was one of them."

It made sense as to why she was always so easy to anger she was designed that way. Angel dust felt a small amount of regret for trying to get on her nerves all the time, he wanted to say something to comfort her but he nodded for her to continue "The goal of these experiments was to see if they could avert us from falling to Hell. Noble at first but soon they saw us as expendable troops to use as a makeshift army. Disappointed by our inability to mimic angelic powers, they declared the program useless and a waste of time, deciding to erase us all."

"Luckily, Adam was with the council that was reviewing us and after seeing our doomed fate, he exclaimed that he would like to recruit us to fight as exorcists for the exterminations before they could erase us. They were not happy at first but as the First man, he demanded that they give him 'the Vengeful' for his army. And soon they relented, he taught us how to read and write, cook and survive, and finally he taught us how to fight."

"He even fought for us to be allowed to socialize in Heaven and be given many other rights. While most of his demands were met, some are yet to be approved." Vaggie smiled at the memory when they were introduced to him, how he told them that they could treat him like a friend or family and he soon gave them names instead of their serial numbers. She began tearing up at the thought of him dying and this time he was trying to right his wrongs with her, Angel hugged her "It's going to be alright. Don't worry, we'll find."

After hours of searching, Charlie and Lucifer had returned but they couldn't find him or so they thought when a tight grinned Alastor had arrived "Well, well! It seems our human friend has run away far from home or was it a prison~" Vaggie glared at him "What do you want, Alastor?" The radio demon simply ignored her threatening undertone and focused on the amusing matter at hand "I will give you a hint, if you make a deal for-" Vggie slapped his hand away "No deal!"

Alastor tried to maintain his smile but his frustration was slowly slipping through "Very well, have fun searching for him, who know in what dark corner of Hell he is current bleeding out in~" Lucifer and Vaggie tried glare holes into him but Lucifer was about to speak but Charlie spoke up before him "How do you know he is bleeding, Alastor?"

Alastor's smile faltered for a bit, terror pooled in his guts as everyone were slowly catching onto Charlie's words but he had to keep a strong front "I was simply informed by my connections, not like I know he is bleeding." Vaggie was slowly reaching for her spear, soon everyone were on high alert and ready to jump into action over a single strike.

The sound of the doorbell rang and everyone dispersed to their usual activities, Charlie sighed and went to answer the door "Welcome to the Hazbin... hotel?" Charlie's instincts screamed at her to run from the woman in front of her. The woman had pale white skin and stalked her with crazed expression in her blood red eyes, she was wearing a black wide brimmed fedora on top her brown with auburn tipped hair and when she opened her mouth revealing her razor like teeth "H̴̡̤́̔͘͘ȩ̶͈̰͂l̵̗̒͐̕͝-̴̯̩̠̬͑̽" And Charlie slammed the door in her face, she looked to her sides in panic and saw Alastor nearby "Alastor! There's a crazy looking lady at our door."

Alastor's monocle fell from terror, if his guess was right, She wasn't supposed to be here yet! In fear, the deer exclaimed to the princess "Charlie, Don't open the door!" But it seemed to have fell on deaf ears as Charlie looked back at the door and pulled it open. Now, he understood that Fallen angel's frustration with the princess opening doors to random strangers who looked like they would kill everyone, he never imagined he would bond with that woman on their shared frustrations with the princess and doors.

Charlie opened the door again to see...A bubbly petite woman with brown hair with golden streaks, golden eyes and a slight tan "Hi! You must be princess Charlie Morningstar! It's so nice to meet royalty with a noble heart. Did you know, I am royalty too. Well, kinda-" The woman continued to ramble on as she shook the princess' hand vigorously, Charlie pulled her hand away and rubbed her eyes vigorously to see if she was dreaming, did that scary Lady become a bubbly woman?

"Um...Ma'am, not to sound rude but...Uhm what happened to that scary woman who was at our door?" The brunette stopped and looked at her in confusion until it suddenly clicked "Oh! That was just one of my abilities, I forgot to turn it off. It helps me steer clear of trouble. Hehehe!" The woman scratched the back of her head in embarrassment

Charlie sighed "Thank god! I was terrified. Please, come in!" Charlie opened the door and gestured for her to enter "So what brings you here?" The woman smiled "Oh, I am here to inform Alastor about this guy he was looking for, what was his name again 'Dadam', 'Madam' or something?" Vaggie looked up at her "it's Adam, his name is Adam." Woman chuckled "Sorry, I didn't pay much attention when boss was explaining to me how important he is."

"Boss?" Husk asked her since when did Alastor own souls like her "Yeah, Al's my boss, I believe he is yours too, right?" The cat grumbled and took a swig from his bottle "I'll take that as a yes. Anyways, I have traced him near the Heavenly embassy and he is currently in the safety of Ms.Carmine." Everyone sighed in relief, while Alastor's smile tightened at the news "Though I would suggest you go immediately." Charlie began walking to Alastor.

"I am sorry for doubting you, Alastor." The radio demon simply waved it off with a smile "Umh... What's her name?" Alastor looked a bit nervous on how to answer when the Lady in question answered with a confident smirk "Evelyn Root." Charlie smiled as she saw her girlfriend hug the brunette tightly "Thank you, Root" Root's smiled caringly but only Alastor noticed the hidden threat in it "No, Thank you~" As her golden eyes glint of blood red for a split second when she looked at Alastor.

"Oh! I love this place, Al! Can I work here?" Alastor adjusted his tie "You may work here for as long as you wish, dear~" She placed her hand on his shoulder and spoke through a tight smile "I can't wait to meet Adam." Yes, he was doomed indeed "Well, I guess I have to show you your room then follow me."

There aren't many things that could faze Carmilla Carmine, so when she heard some idiot had trespassed into her territory, she was absolutely ready to kill them until she saw who it was. The head exorcist, Adam. Now, don't get her wrong, she would have killed him off but this was a very risky situation as such information spreads like a wildfire in Hell and if Heaven got news of this, She wasn't sure if even the Devil himself could protect her and her daughters.

On seeing a boulder cracked in half and blood spilt all around him, Carmilla first checked his vitals for confirmation. And It seemed he was still alive and quite...Stable? Well, she expected nothing less from the Original Man, and she began dragging him back to her base to tend to his wounds properly.

After reaching her base, she laid him down on her operating table and began to monitor his vitals closely. After confirming his state, she set aside a clean cloth in case the wound reopened, a bottle of antiseptic to clean it and a kit for stitching it.

The craftswoman slowly removed the blade from the wound and applied pressure on the wound using the clean cloth. Upon seeing no further blood loss, she removed his shirt to begin cleaning his wound. She was too focused on cleaning and stitching Adam's wound that she almost didn't notice him stir. She quickly completed the procedure and after some thorough inspection of the stitches, she watched him wake up from a safe distance.

Adam groaned in pain as he woke up and immediately tried to get off the table, he saw Carmilla approach him and raised his fists up in defense "You shouldn't get onto my feet just yet. But then again, you're quite a stubborn man to die."

Adam ignored her comment and the pain while he kept his hands steady.

"Who are you?"

"Carmilla Carmine. I could either be your savior if you comply or death itself for your untimely demise. "

Where had he heard this name before...Suddenly, Adam's eyes widened. That's right he read that name on one of those crates containing angelic weaponry, It must be her, who has been manufacturing them and distributing to the sinners. She doesn't look like the type to fight but rather the type to use words to intimidate, perhaps she's all bark and no bite.

"Heh, you're bluffing!" Carmilla narrowed her eyes at his accusation and threw the angelic knife barely grazing his cheek as it impaled into the wall behind him "The next one won't miss."

Adam grit his teeth while physically he was currently stronger than the strongest man in the world, he knew that a single mistake may cost him his life as he wasn't sure if his human body could take on a sinner as strong as an overlord with demonic powers. He will have to diffuse this bomb of situation without picking a fight, maybe he should take a step back and try to leave.

"Show me the fucking exit, So that I can leave." But no response came from her, so he looked around and found a door and began slowly walking towards it

"Stop! You're not planning on leaving liked that, are you?"

Adam stopped and looked back at her in annoyance "What do you mean?" The snowy haired demoness gestured at his shirtless torso and his freshly stitched wound. He looked skeptical at first thinking she wanted to use him as a hostage against Charlie or Heaven but she wasn't wrong in her statement, he wasn't sure where the Heavenly Embassy was located and not to mention in his current state...he wouldn't be able to fend off any multiple threats at once, it seems he had no choice. Adam looked at the demoness who was currently diligently cleaning the knife that was lodged in the wall.

"Fine. I am open for negotiations, so what are your terms?"

"My first term is you will not harm me or my daughters irrespective of whether you are in Hell or Heaven."

Adam trembled in rage at the absurd condition this woman was imposing but he had to maintain a leveled head to get through this deal, he closed his eyes and took a few deep breathes to calm himself. He opened his eyes and looked at her with an arrogant smirk.

"Okay then my condition is that if you or your family do anything that ruins the integrity of Heaven or peace in general then I will personally exterminate you sinners, understood?"

Carmilla's red eyes glared at Adam "I am afraid I must object this. My business runs on the supply of weaponry especially Angelic ones. Without my business, I have no power in hell to protect myself." Upon hearing these words, Adam feigned a look of innocent shock and sympathy.

"Oh no! I am so sorry but I didn't know that, Ms. Carmine. Heh! Cry all you want about it, Bitch! But this is my condition."

Carmine looked down in thought. If she were to comply to this then she and her family would be safe from Heaven but her empire was what gave her the power to command any room or meeting in hell, not to mention she would lose profits... She couldn't risk losing that. Carmilla looked at Adam and shook her head in refusal.

"Then no deal. Bye bye!"

Adam smiled to himself with pride that he was able to get out of this deal without any consequences, suddenly Adam felt his hair stand up in alarm and immediately dodged a kick from the demoness while wincing in pain as his wound hadn't completely healed.

Adam glared at the woman who had returned to a normal stance "What the fuck was that for!"

The Overlord looked at him with a determined frown "If I can't convince you through reasoning and a deal then I will make you agree through this fight, Primordial Man!"

The former exorcist looked at her dumbstruck before he recovered and glared at her "I may be a primordial human but that doesn't mean I am a fucking prehistoric savage! I-I can still be reasoned with!"

"I don't give a shit if you are one or not. Now, fight!"

Carmilla began to release a flurry of precise and powerful kicks but Adam was able to bring his hands up in time to block most of them. Adam noticed that she had incorporated twists and twirls of a ballerina to give a power to her kicks, another thing he noticed was that her shoes were made from angelic steel. The first man knew in his current state, he couldn't match her speed but he had to keep his ground and win. Carmilla looked at him with a taunting smirk

"Did you know that I fought a few of your exorcists before your fight with the princess and successfully killed one. Perhaps you should really reconsider how you train them, after I saw how your former exorcist fights."

Adam glared at her that meant she was the one who decapitated Creamed buns! And how dare she insult his fighting techniques! He yelled and threw a punch but he fell into her trap and got kicked in the face, stumbling a few steps back.

The duo began to fight with all of their power, Carmilla was landing most of her swift kicks but Adam was landing powerful punches that made her stagger albeit they connected a bit rarely. Adam was starting to feel his power waning, while his opponent was still dancing around. Carmilla landed a swift kick to his chest throwing him back and almost reopened his stitches. The First Man looked battered and was bruised and cut in many areas of his body, he saw Carmilla twirling and smiled as an idea popped in his head to throw off her game.

"Heh, If you wanted me so badly, you didn't have to put on a show for me. not that I mind~ Next time, you should bring your daughters too! Hahaha!"

Carmilla was enraged, how dare he look at her and her daughters as if they were some cheap bunch of harlots! Carmilla did one last spin to build up momentum and she flew at him with a flying kick but Adam was prepared and he had her right where he wanted. The First Man barely dodged the kick by turning to his side cutting open his stitches and let out a battle cry as he landed a powerful uppercut to her face.

The punch connected causing her to be thrown across the room and her hair to open from their knots. Adam stumbled to maintain his balance but caught himself from falling and raised his fists up with a confident smile and he knew he had won.

"Is that all you've got?"

Carmilla's heart sank in horror as she realized she was unable to get up from that blow to her face and that meant she...lost. Her head hung low in defeat as she tried to catch her breath, she knew the dire consequences of this loss but she had to give credit where it is due "You won, Adam."

She saw Adam slowly approach her and clenched her fists and eyes closed. She slowly sat on her knees, She never imagined her fate to end like this...She just hopes his first order isn't a cruel one to her or her daughters and braced for the consequences of her loss.

Carmilla waited for him gloat and demand for her soul but the silence persisted, maybe he was dragging it out to enjoy her humiliation. More time had passed and still nothing, she slowly opened her eyes to peek, she saw him wearing a look between impressed and tired. From what she had seen and heard of him, he sounded like the type of guy to humiliate a soul like hers and take pleasure in it but his expression held no such emotion.

"I am impressed and have a new found respect for you."

"What?" The craftswoman asked shell shocked...This was unexpected.

"Well, I am impressed that you were able to kill Cream and kick the ass out of one of my best exorcists without killing her, not mentioning you were willing to risk yourself for your daughters like that." He held a small smile on his face but winced a bit as the pain increased.

"It seems that the news coverage of you doesn't do you any good. But in the end, all that matters is that I have lost and that means I owe you a prize."

"What are we in the era of samurai and knights to stand on a code of honor! Hahaha! but since you insist so much~" Suddenly Adam's face contorted into cruel smile. She knew it! It was a farce all along! Carmilla trembled on agony knowing what he was about to ask.

"Become my friend."

"What?" It seemed her ears were deceiving her as she looked at him with eyes as wide as dinner plates, Adam narrowed his golden eyes "I ain't repeating it again. I want you around as a close friend."

Carmine carefully thought of his request carefully, and decided better a friend than a...she didn't even want to think of any other possible alternative. The arms dealer sighed in defeat and held out her hand for their deal to be officiated, He smiled and spat on his palm, gave her hand a good shake "I hope we have a good and long standing friendship."

Carmilla stared at her hand with disgust and tried to clean them as much as physically possible, while Adam cackled evilly and cleared his throat to continue but he suddenly fell onto his knees in pain, Carmilla looked at him with concern but intrigued eyes and slowly stood up to help him.

Her being a sinner, was able to fully recover within a few minutes, but Adam was not as fortunate, she found his wound had reopened and his body was still weak from the fight, his eyes averted from her gaze as he tried to save what little was left of his pride "...help me..." The woman smirked at him "What was that?" Adam glared at her "Fucking help me!"

She gave him a blank look "Very well then I will count this as one of my favors to you, Friend~"

Adam glared at her and slowly searched for the first aid kit, It seemed he didn't want to owe her anything as he didn't trust in her completely yet or maybe it was his pride but Carmilla couldn't stop her smile as she felt an unusual warmth in her chest. Was it because he didn't take advantage of her or maybe it was just the adrenalin still pumping through her body, she couldn't place a finger properly on what she felt.

"Hey! If you're done with drooling over me, could you bring me a new shirt and maybe show me the shower. Cause no matter how awesome it looks... I don't wanna smell like blood, grime and sweat!" "Ugh! I can't believe that bitch bullshitted her way out of court!" May yelled in frustration "But it was a damn good one."

"You're not helping, Justin." A gentle looking man scolded him, the gentle captain looked towards May "May, what have I told you about calling others names?"

Michael simply watched in amusement while drinking a glass of wine as two of his top captains were bickering and his best captain playing referee "Augustine." the captain looked at the Archangel from between May and Justin

"Yes, Archangel Michael."

"We have visitors." The Captain nodded and began shouting instructions to his fellow Captains.

Carmilla felt like a deer caught in headlights, when she saw all these beautiful paintings and tapestries across the Embassy's walls. They even had paintings that were said to have been lost in wars or natural disasters! She couldn't wait to tell Zestial about this place. Suddenly, she heard Adam clear his throat causing her to turn to him with an annoyed frown. They arrived at the door of a meeting room and opened it.

"Greeting Adam. I see you brought a...friend?"

Adam scowled at the Angel sitting at the end of the table "Archangel Michael." If she hadn't been scared on meeting more exorcist like angels before, then she was definitely scared now on hearing the angel in front of her was The Michael. The Archangel got up from his seat, slowly dragging his sword on the ground causing stray sparks to fly as he walked and stopped right in front of Adam. They stared into each others eyes for what felt like hours to Carmilla, suddenly Adam snapped his fingers in front of Michael causing him to blink.

"Ha! I won! In your fucking face, mike!" This was definitely his good pal Adam. Trying his best to stop a smile from forming, Michael feigned a look of offence.

"Hey, you cheated!" Michael glared at Adam, who was busy gloating his victory over him.

"But really Adam, it's good to see you again" The first man and the Archangel fist bumped and hugged "I was deeply affected when I heard of your death. How did you survive?" Adam shrugged "My death was highly exaggerated."

"While I would love to hear your story, I believe we should discuss this in some...Privacy ."

Carmine tugged at Adam's sleeve as she hissed looking at the Archangel "He's trying to get you alone and unprotected, Adam."

Adam smiled at her teasingly "Are you jealous, darling~" Carmilla's face turned red with embarrassment and kicked his knee, she stomped towards the door while grumbling obscenities directed towards the first man.

Mike chuckled watching the duo " Hahaha! Quite the woman you've found, Adam." as Adam rubbed his aching knee "Yeah, yeah. We'll discuss that after your little brats leave the room." An offended grunt was heard in the distance but was ignored by them.

Michael nodded and signaled his captains to leave them alone, they had left although reluctantly. But Adam wasn't convinced and began checking every corner of the room, after a thorough investigation and feeling satisfied by his search. Adam sat at the table with Michael.

"So what are you doing here, Mike?"

"Not much, just chilling with some nice and relaxing wine" Adam eyed him suspiciously as he leaned forward with a snarl "Bullshit! The embassy is the only place Sera's eyes can't see!" Michael smiled "Not as dumb as you let people think, hahaha!" The human gritted his teeth angrily "You are trying to overthrow Sera, aren't you?" The last Archangel simply shrugged at the accusation

"We needed a change in pace anyway and besides if you hadn't fallen or the extermination hadn't been cancelled, I would have recruited your or your exorcist's help as well." Adam needed to know the purpose of the purge in his grand scheme.

"I want to know why you tried to reinstate the extermination."

"It was supposed to be used as a way to map all of the rings of Hell and assess their firepower but the plan failed as I didn't know you taught your soldiers law."

Adam looked at confused as the topic got diverted "Law?" Michael nodded "Lute foiled our plan by using...logic and reason." Adam was just shocked, Lute, logic and reason in the same sentence..."Mike...Is the universe ending?" Michael sat in his seat slack-jawed at his friend's question.

"Y-you didn't teach her law." Adam shook his head and looked back at him nonchalantly "She is the last fucking person to try reasoning with! What the fuck did she do?"

"May was right, that damn woman really bullshitted her way out of court."

"Tell me all the fucking details." And so Michael narrated to Adam everything that happened on that day causing Adam to groan in some parts and smile with pride in other ones.

"You have changed, Mike?" Michael looked at him from his wine and sighed "Yes, After that war who hasn't...I needed an escape from everything for a while." Adam look down, not wanting meet the last healthy Archangel's gaze "So, met Uriel yet?" the blonde sorrowfully shook his head and downed the his entire glass as tears threatened to form "I...I couldn't bare to look at him so devoid of life and light. One of these days, he's going to ascend."

Realizing the depressing tone of the conversation, Adam began trying to steer it into a different direction and began narrating what he had been up to, causing the Archangel to cheer up a bit.

"I have a request."

"Go ahead."

"I wish for you to take me back into heaven." Michael sighed "Adam...I wish I could but you won't be able to enter through the pearly gate." Adam snorted at his reason, the last Archangel raised an eye brow "Don't tell me that you know a way bypass all that bullshit." He simply scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, Mike simply shook his head "Of course, you do."

Michael gave him a sad smile "But I am afraid, I can't do so. Please ask for something else." And watched as Adam sat for a while to think of any other request.

"I have two of them. One, The sinner who came with me... Her name is Carmilla Carmine." Michael looked at him with warry eyes "The same Carmilla Carmine who saved you?" Adam nodded "Yes, the very same. In the future if the Exterminations are to be resumed then I want you to exempt her and daughters as well along with the Hell born. And two, I want a special status for the Hazbin Hotel to work on their project of redeeming sinners." Michael hummed as he thought carefully about Adam's requests.

"Very well. I will." Adam pumped his fist up in victory, Michael continued "If I meet them in Heaven as winners." Adam shocked, opened his mouth to say something when he raised his hand shutting him up "I know you feel that this a ridiculous thing to say but you know what I mean, Take it as a last warning to you. Cause the next time we meet, we will be foes."

Michael rose to his feet and immediately his captains emerged from the shadows.

Adam tried to get hold of him but the captains held him back "Michael!" the Archangel stared at him with cold eyes and whispered in his ears "I know she is up there, Adam." Adam's eyes widened in horror "Mike, I can explain!" The Archangel shook his head in pity "I already know the reason, She told me everything. And don't worry, I won't try to break your deal with her." He raised his fist and punched him square in his wound causing the First Man to wince.

Adam was harshly dragged towards the door "Oh! one more thing, Heaven doesn't require failures like you. So you may as well try to end your misery here but then again you sang it better then anyone."

Adam watched in horror as they threw him through the door but thankfully Carmilla caught him "Hell is forever, Bitch~ Hahaha!" Adam began scrambling towards the closing door "Mike! Don't leave me like this! Please!" But the door was slammed shut in his face as he heard a phantom of their laughter.

Carmilla watched as Adam began slamming his fists on the ground and screaming in anguish "Fuck you Michael!" The fist man slammed hid fists harder causing them to slowly bleed and Carmilla rushed to restrain him "Adam! Hurting yourself isn't going to solve anything!" Adam felt tears fall "What have I ever done to deserve this fucking fate? Why couldn't I just die in peace from those fucking stab wounds! Why?!" Carmilla held him from the back, slowly trying to calm him down.

"I am not sure but I know that there must be a reason why. Maybe it is just the universe's way of saying your part is yet to be completed." Adam screamed and cried louder as she miserably failed in comforting him.

After an hour, Adam had calmed down and they were sitting outside the Embassy "Thanks." Carmilla looked up at Adam clearly having heard what he had said "What?" Adam's face turned red from embarrassment "I said that I was fucking grateful!" Carmilla gave him a sly smirk while twirling her untied hair with her finger "My, my. Must have been hard to spit that out with an ego that big~" Adam grew even more red causing Carmilla to laugh, His heart grew heavy as her laugh reminded him of...Lilith.

Adam looked closely at Carmilla with dull and sorrowful eyes as he began analyzing her closely. The way she commanded herself, her personality and maybe even the length of her hair, it reminded him so much of her "...Lilith." It was but a whisper in the wind but the Arms dealer heard it crystal clear "The Queen?" Adam nodded as he gave her a soft smile "You remind me so much of her."

"What was she like?" Adam smiled woefully as reminisced their time together "She was beautiful... when we had met, I thought that in my whole life in Eden she had to be the most amazing creation in all of Eden but things came to a bitter end as you can see." Carmilla moved closer to him "I'll lend you an ear if you want to pour it out." Adam nodded, both unaware of the audience from the hotel listening to his tale.

Adam had woken up to a beautiful melody, even the birds couldn't sing so mesmerizing. He had followed the music to see a beautiful golden haired woman near a lake, smiling and playing with the birds as they tried to sing like her, the man didn't notice a branch in his path and tumbled into the water startling the beauty and her friends.

Adam groaned and saw her approach him "Are you okay?" Concern plastered on her face as she lent him her soft and delicate hand, Adam was too mesmerized by her and kept staring with a red hue on his cheeks. The woman waved her hand in front of him, snaping him out of his stupor "You're beautiful."

The woman titled her head in confusion and slowly sat beside him in the water "What's beautiful?" Adam tried to explain to her but it seemed words weren't enough for her to understand, so he gave up and tried to salvage the situation "How about I show you my favorite pass time instead, a friend of mine liked it very much! Though he was screaming like a-No!" Suddenly Lucifer screamed as he appeared from the bushes, only for Sera to try and pull him back into the bushes.

Adam smiled at his friend "Luci! Oh! What's your name?" he asked the lady curiously, the woman looked at him confused "my name?" Adam nodded eagerly

"Yeah, like my name is Adam, this angel's name is Lucifer although it's actually Samael." Lucifer groaned "Adam. Please you're embarrassing me in front of your wife and please don't go rafting!"

"My name is...Lilith" the woman spoke up causing the two to focus on her "And this rafting sounds fun. Can we go and raft, Adam?" Adam bounced in excitement and dragged he away to the waterfall as Lucifer watched dumb-founded.

"So I presume operation Lilith was successful?" Sera asked as she watched the two love birds...romantically fall of a waterfall on a log? It seemed she would have to talk with Adam not to do any reckless activities "Yep. A huge one! Now, Adam won't feel lonely at all...Until we give the green signal for mating." Sera couldn't help but imagine little Adams and Liliths running around, playing together and ask her to tell them the secret of the Cosmos. God! She couldn't wait to be a grandmother! "Uhm Sera, are you okay?" Sera snapped out of her daydream of coddling cute little grandkids "Yes, I was just...Uhm...Thinking of the possibilities that these two could achieve together."

"Hahaha! Again Adam! Again!" Lilith laughed at the exhilarating thrill she felt when they dove of the edge of the fall and into the water "Sure!" Adam smiled widely in joy, not even Luci was half as enthusiastic as Lilith for rafting. After a few more rounds of rafting, Adam and Lilith were sitting on the sandy ground and discuss more activities to do until Lilith let out a tired yawn "Are you tired, Lilith?" Lilith turned her head towards him curiously to learn this new concept.

"It's like your body doesn't want to move and your eyes feel heavy, and all." Lilith accessed her body's current problems and noticed a similarity to Adam's wording of tired, She nodded her head in fascination "Yes, I feel tired." Adam slowly got up and lifted Lilith in his arms causing her to let out a cute yelp. Adam carried her in her arms till they reached their home, the man twirled his wife as they laughed and gently fell on to the soft makeshift bed, slowly drifting to sleep in each other's warm embrace.

Days had turned into a week, And it seemed Adam and Lilith's bond had only grown stronger to the Angels. One day, Sera saw Adam sitting by himself deep in his thoughts "Adam." the divine being called for her son, young man looked up smiled "Sera, you're just the right person I need. Uhm, can you help me?" The angel hovered curiously over him "And what might be this problem that is bothering you?"

"I was hoping you could tell me what you think of my gift to Lilith." Adam raised a flower in front of him but Sera hadn't understood how an already existing white flower was a git to his wife "Adam, I do not understand how this flower is a gift to your beloved." Adam smiled brightly "Very simply, I named it after her!" Sera was astonished by his idea and clapped "I am sure that she will love it, Adam." Satisfied by Sera's answer, Adam looked around to find Lilith "Wish me luck, Sera!"

Adam has found Lilith playing with one of Luci's favorite creations, Ducks. Adam looked at his reflection in the lake to adjust his hair one last time before walking with the lily in hand "Uhm, Lilith." Lilith turned around with a smile and her amethyst eyes met his golden ones "What is it, Adam?" Adam felt his heart race and his words getting stuck in his throat, he simply placed the flower in her hands and summoned all the courage within him to speak

"I-I named it after you as...as a g-gift!" Lilith looked at the white flower curiously and smelt its delightful fragrance "Oh! I love it, Adam!"

Lilith searched around but couldn't find a suitable gift for her husband, thus she placed the flower in her pale gold hair, placing a small kiss to his right cheek and giggled as she watched him walk away with a red face to do his duties.

Lucifer found his best friend sighing with a lopsided grin and a love-struck expression "Luci, Have I told you how much I love Lily~" Lucifer rolled his eyes "Yes, for the hundredth time since meeting her." Adam gasped in shock "Only hundred! No, no, no, I must make sure I tell everyone a thousand times minimum!" Lucifer laughed "Oh come on, Adam! I was just joking! You have told everyone in creation at least a million times...Please don't start again." Adam grinned mischievously "Too late, Luci~"

After a long chase and a tortuous confession later, night had arrived and the trio sat under a bonfire hearing the wonders beyond the walls of Eden from their angelic friend "Do they really exist, Luci?" the blonde girl asked him, Lucifer nodded "Yes! In fact, they are currently being monitored at this very moment!" Adam smiled at his friends and proposed an idea "Maybe we could ask Uriel to show us these magnificent beings using his powers!"

Lucifer nodded eagerly "Yes! I am sure he would love to." And after a few more discussions, they took leave for a good night's sleep. But Lilith was the only one who couldn't take her mind of the stories, Lucifer had told them as she eyed the vast expanse of the starry sky "One day, I'll meet them all with Adam. One day..." And she slowly drifted to sleep beside Adam and hoping things to never change. Alas! Things had to change... for the worse.

The council of Elder angels were not happy with the way Sera made Adam and Lilith conduct themselves and ordered for them to be given balanced duties, it turned out balanced wasn't really equality in their eyes and caused a rift between the two humans. Adam at first was hesitant but complied when the council demanded him to, while Lilith the ever curious woman she was, questioned their rules and duties. The Elders didn't like her defiance and began drilling Adam to control his wife as he was the First man and should put her in her place but this was Adam's biggest mistake, for not questioning a system that made him cold, egoistic and blind.

"Another fight?" Lilith had hid from Adam under Lucifer's protection again, she silently nodded "Its like he's a completely different man now." Lucifer tried not to think of it much at first when the council introduced a new system where the male was predominant than the female but when he saw his friend slowly lose his spark piece by piece, he couldn't just watch it and stopped seeing him. But over the course of the last few days, Lucifer and Lilith grown more close to each other bonding in their new distaste towards Adam.

Lilith didn't understand what she felt but she knew it was the same feelings she used to feel for Adam. However, Luci knew what he felt was love, and he was absolutely terrified at first. He was paranoid and disgusted

"How! How can I fall in love with my best friend's wife! This is very wrong!"

But there was a small voice inside him that spoke in his head on how it...was not wrong, it told him how Adam had chose to blindly follow the council instead of helping Lilith like he should have. It told him that He was as worse if not worse than those pesky Old timers who made even Sera miserable.

The silent nights where the couple slept separate from each other made him...happy. The times she hid with him in the woods to escape from them and cried on his shoulder "Why can't they see that... That I can be as good as him if not better!" Her tears hurt him but her hate towards Adam was like nectar and the times she laughed around him made him feel like he was burning like the Sun. There were times, he... he intentionally gave his best friend bad advice to magnify the rift between them.

And so they hung out more, away from everything. The dreamers shared each other's dreams, nightmares, hate for Adam and the council and at last their feelings for each other. One day, Lilith couldn't hold in those feeling anymore and had held the smaller angel in her arms and kissed him. the blonde woman blushed after it and hid her face in embarrassment while Lucifer chuckled at her antics and whispering in her ear "I love you too."

Adam had noticed his wife running of more into the woods lately and his Best friend Samael was acting weirdly whenever he would drop her after searching for her. So he decided to follow her this time into the woods but lost her half way, he sighed in defeat and ran a hand through his hair in frustration as he walked back to attend to his duties in the garden murmuring to himself coldly "This is unbecoming of the First man's wife. I must control her better."

If anyone had told Sera that her son was being corrupted by the council, she would laugh and say "My Adam is uncorruptible!" but having seen with her own eyes how Adam had become so cold and distant from everyone, And she was horrified with the way the council ordered him to interact with anyone, it almost felt like he was a stranger to her. But the old Adam was still alive, whenever he was alone gazing at the nature around him with an mesmerized look but she didn't know how to reach out to him and she was getting very anxious that she might lose that chance.

"Seraph." the seraphim looked at him with gentle eyes "Yes, Adam?" the brown haired man was frustrated and had a cold frown plastered on his face "I feel Lilith has been acting weird lately but I don't know why?" Sera patted his head to which he glared at her angrily "So you want to know where you are going wrong?" Adam looked away from her and simply nodded "Then I think I know why." Adam looked up at her, dull golden eyes calculating her every word "Have you noticed how you have been treating her?"

"But I have been treating her as you have asked me to. As the First man, I must show her why I am the one in charge not a feeble and weak woman."

Sera shook her head in disappointment "I am afraid that is where you are wrong, Adam." Adam looked at her confused and slowly became increasingly aggressive "How am I wrong? I am the First Man! I can't be wrong!"

"Your arrogance blinds you, my son."

"When Lilith asked if she could help you with the bigger animals. Instead you challenged her to a wrestling match and crushed her spirit by defeating her and insulting her at the end." Adam interjected "It's not my fault! She asked for it-" Sera glared at him with her thousands of eyes flared open, Adam noticing he was crossing an unspoken limit to her patience remained silent. Sera firmly and with a heavy heart began pointing out his faults in his interactions with Lilith, his behavior and attitude towards them, and many more.

Adam slowly processed the new information that Sera had given him and began revisiting the last few days and weeks of his life and soon realization dawned on him as the ice in his heart melted and his face contorted in horror "W-What have I done! I-I have to make it up to her, Sera!" Sera smiled at her son upon seeing that he wasn't completely lost and called for Uriel "Uriel, please show us Lilith's whereabouts."

Adam watched in confusion as Sera and Uriel's eyes widened in disbelief "What's wrong? Is she okay?" Sera began ordering around the other angels but no one was explaining to him what had happened. Suddenly in a few moments, Adam found himself in front of the council of Elders and bowed on seeing the Lord in all his glory "Lilith and Lucifer." God addressed in a serious tone as Lucifer and Lilith were brought bound in chains in front of Him.

"You have defiled the sacred grounds of Eden by your union." Lilith pulled on her chains in anger "We did nothing wrong! If anything Adam should be punished for such!" But the lord didn't pay any attention to her as his gaze was fixed on the angel.

"And what is your word on this matter, Samael?" Samael's eyes were down casted and looked up to explain himself "Father, I know what I and Lily have done is wrong but we...we're in love! And if it is anyone you should punish, it should be me." God looked at him carefully and his gaze shifted to Adam who was stunned by the reveal that his wife and the Angel had loved each other behind his back all this time and was currently holding back his fury "Then it has been decided. Samael will be executed and Lilith will continue to live with Adam as his wife!" One of the Elder angel's spoke interrupting the Lord.

"Then I would rather die with Samael than live with a fucking puppet who has no strings created by a bunch of buffoons!" Lilith yelled causing whispers of disgust and yells of outrage.

"Such arrogance! How dare she insult us!"

"She should be worshiping us for even letting her have a trail!"

"Both of them should be executed!"

Elder angels began yelling angrily, causing the room to erupt in chaos. They threw insults and blames at each other while the Lord watched in silence as the Council of Elder Angels fought with such animosity and slowly His patience was thinning. He was only absent for a few months and the council became so corrupted, arrogant and disappointing to look at.

"Silence!"

God's voice thundered in the room and the sky darkened to match his mood, his eyes placed on Adam "As the Lord of Eden, Adam shall decide their fate!" his eyes narrowed in cold rage "And if anyone says otherwise, they shall face my wrath. Now, I have to go and watch guide another group of angels... so play nice everyone, Byeee!" the council sat quietly as God teleported away and watched Adam think over what to do.

Adam looked at the chained duo with an icy glare, one was his pathetic cheater of a wife and the other was a rebel against his rule. He should have them executed as an example for their transgression, he looked up to say his decision but Sera's sad look stopped him, raising doubts in himself again. Lilith's eyes held such anger towards him and Lucifer looked at him with tear filled eyes with a silent acceptance, he closed his eyes reflecting on their bond he couldn't imagine an Eden without them "I am the one who decides their fate...Right?" The Mother nodded in agreement, Adam took a deep breathe and exhaled, he knew what he had to do.

"I sentence you both to be exiled from Eden to the outskirts away from the rest of us." Sera finalized the verdict and they were banished from Eden but unknown to everyone except God, the council of Elders had cursed Lilith to suffer watching a thousand of her children die at birth and those who do survive will be stripped of their humanity. Creating hatred in their hearts towards the first man for a very long time.

"So what happened then?" Weird? Why does her voice sound a bit bubbly? Maybe she is just teasing him again.

"The Lord upon realizing the Elders deception, flaws and sins, decided to create a new council headed by Sera, the council of Elohim, after disbanding the old one and absorbing the entire council's essence." A chill traveled his spine as their screams still echoed in his ear "So anymore Questions, Carmine?"

Adam looked up to see her staring at him as if she saw a ghost, and he turned back to see what was the stare about. He saw Vaggie standing there menacingly "Vaggie! Hey! How's it going?" Adam laughed nervously only for her to narrow her eye and dashed to punch him in the gut. Adam panicked only to be met with a hug "Thank God! You're safe."

The First Dad chuckled as he returned the hug with his daughter "Me too." Suddenly Adam noticed that the pain from his wounds had disappeared "No way! My wounds they've...Mike must have healed them when he punched me! That sly fuck!" Vaggie freed herself from their hug with an angry glare "What!" the first man looked nervously at her "I-I can explain!" the smaller angel began cracking her knuckles and her her pink bow reminiscent of demonic horns "But first, I have to make sure you don't repeat this again." Adam did the smartest thing and ran for his life.

"Get back here!"

Carmilla watched in awe as her student chased her Dad angrily while everyone except Alastor who simply smiled at him, began expressing their relief upon seeing him safe "Thank you, Ms. Carmine." The Craftswoman saw as the princess bowed to her gratefully, and she simply nodded in acknowledgement.

Adam approached her after being chased and was about to say something when a woman with brown hair and golden eyes pulled her into a tight hand shake "I am so grateful for your help on returning him safe to the hotel, So no need to worry about him at all! By the way, My name is Evelyn Root!" But their was something off about her tone...It didn't sound happy at all. If you asked Carmilla, it sounded as if she was threatening her for even looking at the man.

The human stared in confusion at the new demoness and simply shrugged "Must be one of Lucifer or that Radio bitch's Lackeys." After escaping from the crazy woman, Carmilla smiled at him and placed a comforting hand "If in the future you need any help, remember you have a friend on whom you can relay on for anything." Adam wiggled his eye brows at her with a flirty look as she rolled her eyes and pushed him away, while flipping the bird at him, only to leave behind a fuming and jealous Evelyn in the corner.

Adam sighed in relief as they reached the hotel, and processed today's events "Perhaps it's time to reveal to her the technique." It may be dumb to just reveal it to her but...

He had took a lot of time to decide whether to impart the knowledge that he had safeguarded for nearly a millennia or not, to Charlie as she had proven time and again she wouldn't back down from a fight if it came in the way of her goal. Even though she was Lilith and Lucifer's daughter he had to agree that she was as stubborn as them but in the good way. After all she wanted to redeem these fuckers... Abel would have agreed with him.

"Charlie." the princess turned her gaze towards him "yes, Adam?" His eyes held a bright golden glint in them "There's a secret that only one person knew other than me. And I think you should hear it." The young demoness gulped nervously as Adam's expression turned cold at the topic he was about to bring up "Have you heard about..."
