It's been a year now since the Pink Pearl princess, Lucia, joined Hanon and I. She is quite the innocent girl, not even aware that she was a princess at first, but her company is enjoyable. The green princess, Rina, also arrived. Even though Hanon had some problem with her at first, they are getting along now. I even think Rina has a crush on her...
Lots of things happened this year, way too much to my taste. But here we are, Kaito carrying Gaito’s unconscious body with Sara’s help. I don’t know why everyone had such a shock when we learned that the two were twins, they look the same and have practically the same name, it’s not rocket science. I have… mixed feelings about the idea of Gaito and Sara living on land with us. I don’t care whose family they are, or if she’s a mermaid princess, they still tried to take over the Oceans for the Poseidon’s sake.
The sight of the terrible pink paint of the Pearl Piari gets me out of my thoughts. This paint is way too bright for my taste, I’m used to everything being black, white and gold. Nikola is waiting for us on the front door alongside Mme Taki, I can see from their expressions that they’re shock to see the Kaito two other with us. sigh This is gonna be some long explanations… I’ll have to find a way out, like faint tiredness or sickness. They’re used to it anyway. I stopped counting the number of times the school called to bring me home just because I didn’t wanted to have class. It’s not my fault really, I do feel sick, just.. sick of people. Sometimes I just don’t want to interact at all.
I try to leave to my room the second we set foot in the hotel, but Kaito stops me.
“Hey, [name] ? I know it’s a lot but.. could you take care of him while we explain everything ?” I raise an eyebrow as the ginger points to his unconscious brother. “I don’t know for the new princesses, but I know you. You’re down to earth, and you’re the less scared one here.”
sigh Down to earth.. me ? Just because I’m honest doesn’t make me down to earth. If anything, I have my head in the stars most of the times, I simply do not show it on the outside.
“Fine… but I warn you, if he gets mad when he wakes up, I smack him in the head with a dictionary.”
The surfer only chuckles and accompanies me to my room, laying the albinos on the bed. Kaito thanks me before going back to the living room to get some answers.
I sit on my desk chair, contemplating everything that happened in such short time. Mr Mitsuki being kidnapped by Sara, the Black Beauty Sisters (that aren’t even sisters) creating a tornado before going back to being fishes, Kaito being a Panthalassan and Aqua Regina only proving how incompetent she is for a goddess. I spin in my chair for a few turns before stopping in front of the bed, inspecting the sleeping prince there. If Hanon was in the room, she would compare this to the Sleeping Beauty. Except he’s the dangerous dragon, and I definitely prefer him in deep slumber. Though, he’s kinda pathetic. A baby that was abandoned in a castle -I don’t even know how he didn’t die- he had no parental figures, which probably explains his liking to wine and interesting clothing style. I mean seriously, what kind of 15 year old guy dresses in leather pants and only puts on a loose fur coat ? Not even a shirt. I don’t know if he truly hadn’t had anything else, or if he’s just an exhibitionist. Probably the latter.
I stop staring at his clothes when I notice him moving a little, he must be waking up. I grab a few books in case I need to throw something and wait for him to fully open his eyes.
