Michieda Shunsuke has been seeing things that other people can't as long as he can remember. People often sees his pupils trembling, his doctor said that it's a medical condition called nystagmus where eyes move involuntary, which in his case is not serious and not a big deal, since the shaking don't really cause much trouble to his vision.
But the truth is, his vision is going back and forth between times and dimensions, and they do cause him problem as his eyes made him sees things human should not.
He notices this at very young age. Every time he told adults he sees oddly beings; they just look at him strange and said he imagine things. Simply, no one believes him.
He once told his classmate in first grade, that there's a girl with pink ribbon and frill dress covered in red that follows them. The classmate, a cute little girl adored by everyone in class, frightened by him, told the teacher and the whole class.
Michieda got scolded for telling lies and other kids start to look at him differently.
slowly, he became an outcast.
from that moment he never told anyone what he sees.
and he try to conceal his fright every time he encounters things, even though he occasionally makes a scene that cause the class to see him as a freak.
"oy, michieda! your ghost friends keeping you company?" one of his classmates teases him.
michieda don't bother to reply and keeping his attention to the book in his hands.
"weirdo" other boy sneered at him, and they left the class laughing.
leaving him alone in now empty classroom
it's his first year in high school, but everyone already know he is weird, and some took fun in bullying him.
with his appearance that's too tall, too pale, too skinny, he looks lanky and clumsy that made him an easy target.
he is thankful the bully doesn't go far though. after all, they are scared of him.
michieda never had a chance to clear any accusation about him, up to the point that it grows into rumor that he can put a curse on people, which left him friendless.
he actually prefers it that way. being with no friend.
deep in his heart, he starts to believe that he may be bringing bad luck to people around him. he thinks he is the curse.
he thinks it is better for him to be alone. he will never cause any misery to other.
everyone better off without him.
it's okay that no one want to be friend with him.
