The doctor said he didn’t have a quirk, but Izuku knows better. Just because he doesn’t want to demonstrate his absolutely useless quirk that he’d randomly discovered after waking up curled in the bottom of the fridge didn’t mean he didn’t have a quirk. He’d been terrified when it had happened the first time. He didn’t even really remember it, not truly. Only that he’d felt his body shrink, and the next thing he knew he was looking around the inside of their fridge, and then nothing until his mother had found him curled up, back to his four year old self. He’d had to make an excuse of sleepwalking and vowed to never say a word. It was much better to be assumed quirkless in his opinion than admit he could turn into a sentient piece of cheese. After all how useful could that really be?
