epistolary of the damned

Summary:

This is a series of letters from one man to another, with little more than a few breaks of memories in between. Some are cherished, some are regrettable, as all important things are.

And Suguru? He was the most important one of them all.

[a fantasy retelling of gojo and geto’s story—one void of curses, but filled with monsters all the same.
— includes: preternatural powers, warring states, rebellion, an obsession running on broken promises, political intrigue, violence, and many endings—both lovely and miserable.]

Chapter 1: PROLOGUE— THE FIRST MEMORY

Chapter Text

In most lands and across most times, princes were precious things: young men who were born to rule—to be admired and treasured—and to one day rise above the mundanity of his people. Satoru Gojo was not afforded that luxury. The sparkling eyed child was brought into existence already far surpassed even the most tenured of genius and lineage. His very birth shook the heavens and unsettled the foundations of the natural world, bending the laws of power to his favor. Even the spirits below could not stay still, for a god had been born, his name written amongst the mortal plains.
