Chapter Text
Tim woke up by a child grabbing onto his arm and whining that she was hungry. He sighed tiredly, realising it was Lian, Will and Chesire's kid.
"Wake up, Uncle Tim! I'm hungry!" Little Lian demands as she continues to tug on Tim's arm.
"Right, sorry, sorry. I'm up, what are we having for breakfast?" Tim said as he sat himself up and let Lian climb onto him to give him morning cuddles.
"I want, hmmm. Waffles with juice!" She said with excitement.
"Sounds good, let's head to the kitchen," Tim said as he scooped the child into his arms and carried her out of the bedroom and down the hall to the kitchen. She was giggling happily as she squealed and moved her arms around.
Tim sat Lian down at the table and told her he might be a bit, he may still have his morning grogginess but he would do anything for that kid. He got to work with making the batter as quick as possible, he heated the waffle maker and waited as he got ready to portion some batter onto the heated surface.
He filled a cup of orange juice, gave it to Lian, and made himself a cup of fresh coffee while waiting.
After the waffles were cooked, he put the steaming things on a plate, poured maple syrup on it and scattered blueberries he found in the fridge on it.
He handed her the plate and she happily dung in after a muffled thank you.
He smiled and sipped some of his coffee.
Then, Artemis walked in with Will trailing moments later.
"Oh thank you, Tim," she said fondly with a smile as she made her coffee.
"Yeah, thanks kid," Will said as he made his coffee.
"No biggie," Tim said with a shrug.
"Uncle Tim is the best!" Lian said as she ate the last bit of her waffle, Tim smiled fondly.
Lian put her plate in the sink and scurried away to go get changed for the day. Tim made himself another cup of coffee and sat with Artemis and Will.
"So what's everyone up to today?" Will asked.
"Since it's the weekend I'm off work, and Lian wants to go to the Zoo so I'm taking her today," Artmeis responded.
