Chapter Text
Once upon a time… in a far away galaxy, there is a planet. A planet known as Ozland, which is said to shine bright like a gemstone within space, ruled by five kingdoms, Ozland was a place that was always filled with peace. However… that was the past. And this is the present.
In the central kingdom of Emeral. Many of it's civilians were fleeing from attacks. Families hid their children safely inside. A woman with white hair wearing a red dress was aiding people who were injured, fleeing, or lost.
“Everyone, go. Go now! There's no time. Hide!” The woman said in a worried tone. Suddenly, a burst of fire nearly struck her behind her back after she helped an injured mother and her baby return home, when the woman in red turned around, she saw a woman who had brown hair, wore a black witch's hat with a crown on it, and yellow gown that faded to black. Behind her were two soldiers that dressed up like jesters, that each carried a black banner with a golden crest that showed the letter H surrounded by four objects from clockwise at the top, a coin, a sword, a chalice, and a wand. That woman was the cause… the ruler of the attackers… the queen of Heridol. Her name was…
“Zepyuronna!” The woman in red said.
“Well… this is honestly, a lovely sight. An old friend of mine protecting the weak. How pitiful indeed… considering the likes of you Notonoz, after all… you are the weakest.” The queen in yellow said.
“I am not weak, I don't use my magic very often. As it can easily corrupt ones who desire power, just like you!” The woman in red said.
“But magic is power! And power is what I want. Now move, or else.” Zepyuronna said.
“Never! These people's lives are at stake!” Notonoz said.
“Fine, join them when they're dead!” Zepyuronna said as she glowed a sickly yellow aura, only to be stopped by two flashes of light. That is when two people arrived, one was a male wearing violet. The other was also a male, but this time he was wearing blue.
“Polleas! Eurolo!” Notonoz said as she turned to the man in purple and man in blue respectively.
“Oh my, well isn't this a lovely reunion! The four rulers outside of Emeral. I'd figure if it's three on one for you. I'll have to make it fairer.” Zepyuronna said as she summoned the two servants behind her, who wielded golden rapiers. Eurolo turned to Notonoz.
“Notonoz, the prince must speak with you, hurry!” Eurolo said.
“But what about the people?” Notonoz asked.
“Don't worry, we'll handle it.” Polleas responded. “Now go!” Polleas ordered. Notonoz nodded and headed towards the castle.
~
When Notonoz arrived at the castle, she saw a young man wearing royal green clothing. He was the prince of Emeral, Zauber Berylis.
“Your majesty…” The woman in red said.
“I know, Zepyuronna had attacked. But there is hope. It's inside this box.” Zauber said as he handed a silver box to her. The box had a golden crest on it, which portrayed an O that had a Z inside it.
“Is this…?”
“It is. It is our key to save Ozland.” Zauber said.
“But, we haven't had one since—”
“I know. But there is still hope. Find them. Find the four warriors of Justice, Wisdom, Love, and Courage. They will bring hope to Ozland.” Zauber said. Suddenly, a loud noise was made.
“Y-your majesty! Zepyuronna! She attacked! She's heading for the castle!” A soldier in green said.
“Wh-what about Eurolo and Polleas?” Notonoz asked.
“They didn't make it… they were turned to stone.” The soldier said.
“There's no time. Notonoz, hurry. Head to the ship, it's down the east hall.” Zauber said.
“B-but…”
“Hurry!” Zauber said. Notonoz looked down at the box, and nodded as she fled.
~
She arrived at a ship, which was dark green with white starry-accents. She boarded the ship, and turned it on, and when it did. It flew outside of Ozland, Notonoz turned around at the sight. And saw the dismay of what Zepyuronna did, but Notonoz knew what she had to do. She opened the silver box, and inside it were four-belt like objects, and four stones. One red, one violet, one blue, and one yellow. She looked at the window of the spaceship. With her sight being a familiar blue and green planet. That is when the red stone glowed. That is when she knew, she found one thing…
An Ozranger.
~
One year later, in home in Japan in Spring. A young girl with short dark hair was sleeping. Just then, her alarm clock began ringing. She stopped the alarm clock from reading and got up with a smile. Her name, was Ginko Reppu.
“Ginko!” A woman called.
“I'm getting dressed!” The girl said. She went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, and after that. She went to her closet to get clothing. Those being a silver long-sleeved shirt, a red jacket, dark blue pants, white socks, and gray sneakers.
Ginko came downstairs to a man and a woman working at a grocery store. The woman wore a light orange blouse and a dark red skirt and was working as the receptionist, while the man wore a white dress shrit with a brown vest was busy restocking some chips.
“Morning Ginko. How did you sleep?” The woman asked.
“Pretty good Aunt Momiji.” Ginko said.
“That's good to hear, are you ready for today's deliveries?” The man asked.
“Yes Uncle Shigure, I'm ready.” Ginko said as she grabbed a sandwhich and headed out the door, with a bike that had groceries on them.
“Make sure to deliver to the Tomatsus, Orikasas, Mizushimas, and Tsuruokas in that order.” Momiji said.
“Don't worry I will!” Ginko replied as she pedaled away.
Now for a thing about Ginko, she always considered herself to be… average. She lived with her aunt and uncle and worked at their grocery store known as 'Gale' as a delivery girl. She was very diligent and often was fast on her bike. But just because she's great at her job, doesn't mean that she was egotistical, in fact. She was quite humble, and often was the last to get angry.
And after 3 hours of delivering groceries. Ginko decides to head home, only to realize that one of her bike's tires is flat.
“Guess I'm going have to head to the bike shop to get it filled up.” Ginko thought to herself, fortunately. She was just 3 blocks away from the bikeshop.
~
But elsewhere, in a familiar planet. Was the Western Kingdom of Heridol.
It has been a year since Zepyuronna attacked. She was no longer called 'Queen of the West', but rather 'The Great Witch' (which was a title she gave herself). Many of the residents of Ozland, including the civilians of Heridol were turned to stone. As she believed that they were obstacles to her.
Zepyuronna was standing on the balcony of her base, the Grand Castle. Where she saw the lovely sight of the deserted and crumbling kingdom that was Heridol. She heard a knock on the door.
“Lady Zepyuronna?” A woman asked. Zepyuronna turned around and saw a figure. The figure was a woman who had olive skin, and yellow eyes. Her hair had a similar appearance to japanese ginger. She wore a black police uniform with a gray skirt and black boots. The figure was the Second-in-Command, Shoguard.
“Ah, Shoguard.” Zepyuronna said. “I was just admiring the landscape I did. Isn't it delightful?” The Great Witch asked.
“Indeed. Unfortunately, I have some bad news… remember Notonoz? The ruler of Bix?” Shoguard asked.
“You mean 'former' ruler?” Zepyuronna asked.
“Yes, she has located… 'one' of them.” Shoguard said.
“WHAT!?” Zepyuronna shouted. “YOU MEAN SHE HAS FOUND 'ONE' OF THEM! WHERE! TELL ME! TELL ME!” Zepyuronna asked in an anger tone several times.
“Relax, yourself Lady Zepyuronna.” Shoguard said in a stoic tone. “I placed a tracker during the attack towards Emeral. She is on a planet from the data I previously recorded on the Tabula Galaxia.” The Second-in-Command added as she pulled out a black and yellow tablet with the symbol of Heridol on it. “According to the data, she is on Planet J-9, also known as 'Earth'.”
“And it's supposed to make me feel better because?” Zepyuronna asked in more calm but irritated tone.
“I have gotten something in the Throne Room to show you.” Shoguard said. The two left the balcony, and head to the Throne Room.
~
When the two arrived in the Throne Room, there were four figures waiting in there.
The first figure was a male, he had white skin and wore a purple helmet with dark purple spades on them, he wore armor that was like a fancy jacket. The undershirt of the armor was a light purple long-sleeved shirt that was flowing, over it was a light pinkish-purple and light greenish-blue overcoat that looked like wings, on the sleaves of the overcoat were dark purple like swordhandles, he wore a silver tie that looked like a sword, he wore a silver belt, his pants were green and purple, he wore silver boots with dark purple spades on them, and he wore a green badge that had a spade symbol on it. He was the Wind Knight Pithikos, and he was busy reading a book.
The second figure was a female, she had light-blue skin, dark blue and dark pink hair, and had blue eyes, however… the left side of her face was covered, her outfit was… something, on the chest was a pink and blue heart, the sleeves looked like that they had water bubbling inside them, on each of the sleeves were pink hearts that were connected by a tube to her dark blue cuffs that also had a pink heart on each of them, she wore a skirt that was very similar to the sleeves, and boots that were similar to the sleeves as well, she too had a badge, but it was pink and it had a heart on it. She was the Water Knight Guenon, and she was busy putting on lipstick despite the fact that half of her face was covered.
The third figure was a male, he had orange skin and yellow eyes, his hair was burning bright like fire, he wore a dark red and gray sleeveless long coat, on the edges of the coat were wands, he wore a dark orange belt that had yellow clubs on them, he wore a dark orange mask, he had cuffs that were dark red and looked like they were burning, he wore gray boots that were also burning, he had an orange badge with a club on it. He was the Fire Knight Mono, and he was cleaning a cane-like weapon.
And the fourth and final figure was a female, she was the most normal looking of them, as she had light-yellow skin, brown rock-like hair, wore a dark yellow top hat and a diamond-shaped eyepatch, wore a white buttoned sleeveless shirt with the buttons being diamonds, her skirt was one half orange with a pentacle pattern each layer on the left side, while the other side was a diamond pattern that shifted from gold to brown, she wore brown pants and dark yellow boots, she wore gloves that looked like rocks, and she had a yellow badge with a diamond on it. She was the Earth Knight Scimmia, and she was sleeping.
“These are the Elemental Knights, Lady Zepyuronna.” Shoguard introduced them to her master.
“I see, and how will they help me?” Zepyuronna asked.
“Simple, I brought this in.” Shoguard said as she showed Zepyuronna a cloaked table. Shoguard removed the cloak, revealing a sewing-machine like object, a bunch of spools of thread, and bunch of ragdolls that looked like black and yellow knights.
“This is my latest invention, the Life Creation Sewing Machine. It will create the warriors that Ozland has feared the most.” Shoguard explained.
“You mean, 'them'?” Zepyuronna asked with interest.
“Indeed, I'll provide you an example.” Shoguard said as she pulls out two spools of thread, one labeled 'Komodo Dragon', and the other 'Tornado'. She placed one of the dolls under the needle of the Sewing Machine, and placed the two spools of thread on the sewing machine, and pressed a button to activate it. After it was activated, the doll floats up and glows yellow, causing it to grow bigger, to the point it was the same size as the Elementary Knights.
“It's… perfect!” Zepyuronna laughs.
“Now Lady Zepyuronna, I'll be heading towards Earth. And I'll bring the creation with me.” Shoguard said.
“Good…” Zepyuronna said.
~
Back on Earth, Ginko was waiting outside the bike shop. It was 2PM, and Ginko sat outside the bike shop. She then noticed a hooded figure next to her.
“Uhm… hi?” Ginko asked.
The figure didn't respond.
“Not much of a talker are you?” Ginko asked.
The figure didn't respond, but walked away. Unaware that a car was speeding by, to which Ginko took notice.
“Woah!” Ginko said as she quickly grabbed the hooded figure. “You would've gotten injured.” Ginko told the figure. “Thank goodness I caught you.”
“Miss Reppu?” A voice called.
“Oh, my bike!” Ginko thought as she heard the voice. “Gotta go!” Ginko told the hooded figure.
“Coming!” Ginko said. Unaware of the hooded figure carrying a box that glowed bright red.
Ginko entered the bike shop, and her bike looked good as new.
“Thanks for filling in the tire.” Ginko said.
“Heh, no worries.” The employee replied. “So, have you heard the news lately?” The employee asked.
“What news?” Ginko asked.
“There were rumors of a spaceship that landed in Japan. Apparently it's rumored that it landed near a farm.” The employee said.
“Near a farm? I thought it would land in Area 51, since spacecraft is more popular there.” Ginko replied.
“True to that.” The employee said. Suddenly, the two heard a loud commotion outside the bike shop.
“What was that?” Ginko asked.
“No idea.” The employee said.
Suddenly, outside the windows of the store. The two saw people running and screaming from terror.
“Well whatever it is. It's making people run!” Ginko replied. “I got to check this out to see if anything is acting bizarre.” She said as she gave the employee 3000 yen and took her bike.
~
When Ginko arrived close to her home. She saw many people running from a figure. The figure looked like a black and yellow knight, with the yellow part having a playing card suit pattern sewn in, the body looked like with was sewn, as seen on the arms that there was stitching seen on the joints and on the armor. The head of the mysterious figure looked like a blue-colored komodo dragon's head, and the hands were shaped like tornados.
“Yes! Run from me! Scream and cry for my master! Tornadrill!” The figure said. “For I am Orkan! Orkan the Phantas Dragon!” He boasted as he shot a gust of wind that caused a man to fall. Ginko grabbed the man and picked him up.
“You ok?” Ginko asked. The man nodded and left. “What is wrong with you!” Ginko said as she turned to the mysterious 'Dragon'.
“I'm just doing my job, and you're making it harder! So move!” Orkan said as he shot a tornado towards Ginko, to which she dodged. She then noticed one thing, a little girl was seperated from her mother, to which Orkan aimed a Tornado at her. Ginko was worried, but notices that there was a basket filled with apples. Just as a Orkan was about to say Tornadrill. Ginko threw an apple on the back of Orkan.
“What the… who threw that?” Orkan said. “You?” He asked.
“Yeah!” Ginko said. “I don't you where you came from, weather you're wearing a really cool costume, or just some lunatic. I'm not willing to let you get away scot-free!” She said as she threw another apple at Orkan. Unaware, that the same hooded figure was watching her. And underneath the robe, was a red glow.
“Oh yeah! Well fine! Keep going! I got all day!” Orkan boasted. He shot another Tornadrill, but Ginko dodged and kept throwing apples. After a while, Ginko had only an apple left, and Orkan was tired.
“You… you may have tired me… but… I… But I still am stronger than you!” Orkan said as he was prepared for an attack. But…
“That's enough.” A voice called. Ginko was startled by the voice. Suddenly, a yellow portal appeared in the sky, as Shoguard jumped down.
“What.” Ginko said in a stunned town.
“Hmm, I had myself worried. You lost to an ordinary girl. No matter, I'll find use of you sometime later.” Shoguard said. She turned to Ginko. “Hmm… you seem… strange.” She said as she and Orkan left in the same yellow portal.
“That was… weird.” Ginko told herself. She then realized the time. “Looks like I should go home.” She said as she grabbed her bike and left. Unaware that the same hooded figure watched her. She pulls out a silver box, and opens it. Pulling out a familiar red stone.
“She's the one.”
~
When the evening arrived. Ginko went to the back of her home, and parked her bike. She heads to the front, and enters.
“I'm home!” Ginko called.
“My, Ginko. How were you? You were gone for 5 minutes later than usual.” Momiji asked.
“Oh it was nothing. Just a weird guy acting… weird.” Ginko responded.
“Oh, like that time with the woman who brought ten of her cats who trashed the dairy section at Gale?” Shigure asked.
“No.” Ginko said. “And she is still banned from coming here, even if she is a bit… crazy.” She explained. “It was some guy who dressed up in this weird knight-outfit that looked like it was stitched, and he shot tornadoes out of his hands. I'm sure it'e nothing.” Ginko said, she then turned to see a silver box.
“Uh, who ordered this?” Ginko asked as she picked up the box.
“Oh! That reminds me. Someone dropped this off. I tried returning it, but it kept arriving here.” Momiji said. “I think it's for you.”
“Well, I'll guess I should make sure it's not a bomb or something.” Ginko responded as she took the box to her room.
~
After going to her room, Ginko carefully opened the box and saw four things. Inside was a mysterious belt that had four buttons on it, they were colored red, violet, blue, and yellow. Another was a phone that was… clearly not from Japan or any pther country. Another item was a weird gun-like weapon. The last thing was a mysterious red jewel that with closer inspection, it had a symbol. It was an O that had a Z inside it. Whatever it was, it was clearly bizarre. She grabbed the stone and felt a strange sense. She carefully placed the jewel back in teh box. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
“Huh, uhm… Uncle Shigure?” Ginko asked as she went downstairs. “You did close Gale, right?”
“Yeah? Why?” Shigure asked.
“Someone's at the door.” Ginko explained, she picked up the box and decided to head downstairs. She went to the door, and opened it. Revealing the mysterious guest as the hooded figure.
“It's you…” Ginko said. “You're the hooded figure I saw at the bike shop! Why are you here?” She asked.
“I am here… to hire you.” The hooded figure said.
“To 'hire' me?” Ginko asked.
“Indeed.” The hooded figure said.
“You're hiring my niece, for what?” Momiji asked.
“For defeating that Phantasmajin, I knew that you were the Warrior of Justice… Ginko Reppu.” The hooded figure said.
“How did you know my name?” Ginko asked.
“I… asked someone. But what is important, is that you are the Warrior of Justice.” The hooded figure said. Right after removing their hood or rather her hood. Revealing herself to be Notonoz. “An Ozranger.” She said.
“What?” Ginko said in a blunt tone.
~
After inviting the mysterious stranger in. Which was… bizarre according to Ginko.
“Thanks for letting me in Mrs. Reppu.” Notonoz said.
“No worries dear, just… can you explain why did ask for my niece to became an 'Ozranger'?” Momiji said.
“It's simple, I am from a different planet. I crash landed here when that stone of your glowed.” Notonoz said.
“So that's why it glowed. And I was said to be a 'Warrior of Justice', what does that mean?” Ginko asked.
“It means that you are one of the four heroes that can save my planet from danger. After witnessing you fight against that Phantasmajin, I knew you were the one. But I had to make sure, after all I decided to walk into the street blindly to see if you were the one.” Notonoz explained.
“Well, even if I'm the one. I think that you purposely walking into traffic is just asking to get injured or worse killed.” Ginko responded.
“While I did think the idea was stupid. I had to find a way to find someone like you.” Notonoz said.
“Well, despite that… what is an Ozranger?” Shigure asked.
“An Ozranger, is a hero from a planet that is chosen by a stone like that.” Notonoz explained. “They are heroes that must save my home, Ozland from great danger.” She explained.
“Well, if that's the case. I guess I'll be one. But I need to train. I'll think about being an Ozranger. But I don't know if I could handle it.” Ginko explained.
“Very well, we'll start your training tomorrow.” Notonoz explained.
“Good idea.” Ginko responded. “Anyways, can you… get back to your ship?” Ginko asked politely.
“Very well.” Notonoz said. “I'll be leaving.” She said as she left.
~
Elsewhere, in Heridol.
“Seriously! You lost to a girl?” Mono asked.
“I didn't, I was testing her. She felt… suspicious.” Shoguard responded.
“What do you mean by 'suspicious', does she have power? Cause if that's the case then I'M NOT AFRAID OF KICKING HER TO THE CURB!” Zepyuronna snapped.
“Your majesty, no offense. But… your temper… well… it's something.” Pithikos commented.
“And by 'something' you mean 'powerful'?” Zepyuronna asked.
“Maybe.” Pithikos added.
“Anyways, what did you do with the Phantasmajin?” Zepyuronna asked.
“I sent him to train underground. He'll be stronger when the time is correct.” Shoguard explained.
“Can he get me power?” Zepyuronna asked.
“Unfortunately no.” Shoguard answered. “But they can.” Shoguard said as she pointed to the four knights.
“Really? If that's the case. Mono, could you join Shoguard?” Zepyuronna asked.
“Me? First pick? Heck yeah! I'm willing to fight against that girl! I bet she's not an O—”
“Finish that sentence, and I'll finish your job before you start it.” Zepyuronna threatened.
“Fine.” Mono begrudgingly replied.
“We can't forget one thing Mono, the Phantasmajin. Which I can easily prepare.” Shoguard said as she pulled out two spools of thread. This time they were labeled 'Ox' and 'Matchstick'. She placed the two spools of thread on the Life Creation Sewing Machine, and turned it on. This time the Phantasmajin had the same body as Orkan, only this time it had the head of an ox and it's hands were matchsticks.
“Ha ha! My time to shine starts now!” The Phantasmajin said.
“Perfect, the Phantas Ox, Streichholz.” Shoguard said. “We'll be taking our leave Lady Zepyuronna.” The Second-in-Command said as she summoned a yellow portal to which she, Mono, and Streichholz entered.
~
The next day, Ginko got up to train under Notonoz. She grabbed the silver box, went downstairs, and saw the mysterious woman at her door.
“Greetings Ginko.” Notonoz said. “Are you prepared for training?” She asked.
“I guess, but where are we going to train?” Ginko asked.
“In here.” Notonoz said as she pressed a button a remote control, revealing the giant green ship above them.
“Is… is that?”
“Indeed. It is the ship of the Ozrangers.” Notonoz said as she walked under the ship, which caused a glowing white light to appear. Ginko went under the white light and saw herself inside the spaceship, she looked outside the window and saw that she was far from home. She looked inside, and she was possibly in the strategy room, she places the silver box on the table, which was dark blue and had four chairs, one red, one violet, one blue, and one yellow. There was a large window, and the walls were white and green, with the floor being gold and silver.
“So, now to begin your training of being an Ozranger. We must learn the history of Ozrangers.” Notonoz explained. She pulled down a white board and pressed a button, revealing a map of Ozland.
“What are those countries?” Ginko asked.
“Ozland is made up of five kingdoms. The red country in the South is the Southern Kingdom of Bix, which I ruled. The blue country in the East is the Eastern Kingdom of Akumari. The violet country in the North is the Northern Kingdom of Molganato. The yellow country in the West is the Western Kingdom of Heridol. And the green country in the center is our most powerful kingdom. The Central Kingdom of Emeral.” Notonoz explained. “Well… it used to be.” Ginko somberly said.
“What happened?” Ginko asked.
“We were attacked by the forces of Zepyuronna, the ruler of Heridol.” Notonoz said.
“Why would she attack?” Ginko asked.
“She wants power.” Notonoz said. She then pressed a button again, this time the pocture showed an image of Zepyuronna, Shoguard, the Elemental Knights, and the jester-like servants. “See that woman in the throne? That's Zepyuronna. The woman beside her is her Second-in-Command, Shoguard. The four knights that with her are the Elemental Knights.” Notonoz explained.
“And those jesters?” Ginko asked.
“They are the Zal Soldiers.” Notonoz said. “Remember that monster you faced against yesterday?” Notonoz asked.
“You mean, the Phantas Dragon? You said he was a Phantasmajin.” Ginko responded.
“Exactly, Phantasmajins were monsters that Ozland feared. But the Ozrangers had always defeated them, since Heridol were responsible for the creation of them.” Notonoz explained.
“Did anyone try to rebel against her?” Ginko asked.
“Unfortunately, no one could rebel against her, mainly due to one thing… they were turned into stone.” Notonoz said. She pressed a button again. This time revealing a village filled with yellow buildings and a bunch of human-like statues. “Those who were tried to rebel against her, would end up being turned into stone. Causing one of the many nicknames of Heridol being the Abandoned Kingdom.” Notonoz explained. She pressed the button one final time, turning the blackboard off. “So that's why the Ozrangers must be recruited. And you are one of them.” Notonoz said. “Remember the box I gave you?” She asked.
“You mean the one that had a belt, a gun, a phone, and a red jewel?” Ginko asked.
“Exactly.” Notonoz said as she pulled out the red jewel. “This is an Oztone, it is responsible for the transformation of Ozrangers. Yours is the Ruby Oztone.” She explained. “The Ozrangers use them when they are inserted in this, the Ozbelt.” Notonoz said as she pulled out the belt-like object.
“So… how do I fight?” Ginko asked.
“The Ozrangers can rely on their strengths, but their main weapon is this. The Oz-Weapon.” Notonoz said. “Now, despite it's appearance, it's not only a gun. It can also take form as a sword, a sickle, an axe, or a claw.” Notonoz said as she changed parts of the weapon in the forms she described. “And one more thing I must show you.” Notonoz said. She got up and went to the east hall where she and Ginko went inside and elevator that took them down to a garage-like area that was had four giant crystal-like robotic animals. Those being a red ox, a violet scorpion, a blue shark, and a yellow lion.
“What… are those?” Ginko asked.
“They are known as the Gump Riders.” Notonoz said. “The red ox over there? That one is known as Gump Aldebaran.” She said as she pointed to the giant ox. “They were invented for the Ozrangers to fight. They are stored in this docking station when fights get tough.” She explained. After that, the two went back up to the strategy room.
“Now that you know all about this station, it's time for your training to become the Warrior of Justice… Oz Ruby.” Notonoz said. “We'll start off with you fighting untransformed. Just to see how well you can fight.” She said as she landed the spaceship in a forest area and gave Ginko five things that are similiar to the Oz-weapon.
“These are the beta testers of the Oz-Weapon, you can change them into different forms. The Oz-Weapon can change it's form by inserting an Oztone inside it.” Notonoz explained.
“Well, if that's the case. I guess I'll experiment on which mode I like?” Ginko asked.
“Possibly.” Notonoz said. That is when they landed in a forest-like area, to which Ginko got off.
As Ginko got off, she saw holographic versions of Zal Soldiers, she was prepared to fight. She carefully aimed the Oz-Weapon in gun form to shoot at the holograms, which glitched out when they were defeated. She then tried the Oz-Weapon in Sword Mode, slashing the Zal Soldiers. She then tried Sickle Mode of the Oz-Weapon, which acted like Sword Mode so it was no big deal. Then came Axe-mode, which she trhew the Oz-Weapon like a boomerang and caught to form a chop-like attack. With Claw-mode being the final form she tried. All what she did was a powerful scratch-like attack. After that, the training was finished.
“You did very well for your training. You are ready to be an Ozranger.” Notonoz said. “Ready to come back home?” She asked.
“Ready.” Ginko replied as she got one the ship.
~
After landing back at Gale. Notonoz handed Ginko the silver box. “Now, in order to transform. You place the Ozbelt on you and insert the Ruby Oztone and say 'Oz Change!' to become Oz Ruby.” Notonoz explained.
“Got it.” Ginko said as she was dropped off. She came to the door and knocked on it.
“Ah! Ginko! How was training?” Momiji said as she answered the door.
“Pretty good.” Ginko responded. “Can't believe that this is happening… I never thought that I could be a superhero.” She said as she looked at the box.
“Well, there is a first time for everything.” Shigure said.
“True, but…” Ginko responded.
“But what?” Momiji asked.
“But, I'm not sure for how long it would take. I mean… I'm just a delivery girl. I'm not saying I don't want to be an Ozranger. I just, I'm just… Well…” Ginko tried to explain. “I've been diligent at my job. And if I become an Ozranger, do I have to give up that life?” Ginko asked. Which stunned her aunt and uncle.
“Not really, I mean sure you can be an Ozranger as well as work at our grocery store. But that won't stop you from being a delivery girl.” Momiji answered.
“Phew, thanks for the response.” Momiji said. Suddenly, she heard a loud explosion. “Looks like Oz Ruby has to go.” She told herself as she left.
“Be careful!” Shigure said.
~
Ginko came to the source of the explosion, a street where civilians had already ran away. But she noticed that there were several flames. Suddenly, she saw a familiar body…
The body of an Ox-like Phantasmajin.
“Ha ha ha! Man, these flames are the best to start!” A loud voice shouted. Ginko took notice of the person who was the cause. Mono, the Fire Knight.
“You! Are you one of the Elemental Knights of Heridol?” Ginko asked.
“You bet! I am the Fire Knight Mono! And this is the Phantas Ox, Streichholz!” Mono said.
“I bet you're here to witness the glory of Heridol! Matchstick Wave!” Streichholz shouted as he shot a matchstick from his hand that exploded.
“What… the heck?” Ginko asked in a stunned town. Suddenly, she saw Mono absorbing a red aura that came from the explosion. That is when she suddenly noticed that Mono absorbed it using a cane-like weapon.
“Heh, thanks for the power up!” Mono said. “So, if you want you want to live, you should leave.” He bribed.
“Never! I'm not leaving this place!” Ginko said.
“Fine.” Mono said. “Fuego… Tormenta!” Mono said as he twirled his cane like a baton. Causing a wave of fire to strike Ginko, who thankfully didn't get burnt in the face, but tripped.
“Ow.” Ginko said as she got up. “Man, if I don't beat him, he's gonna start a fire! I got to distract him…” Ginko thought to herself.
“You're not dead?” Mono asked.
“Uh, no? You just tried to kill me. So… no, I'm still alive.” Ginko said.
“MY ATTACK WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOCK YOU DEAD!” Mono snapped at. Starting a fire from his head.
“Ok, chill!” Ginko responded.
“NO! IT WAS MADE FOR AN ATTACK THAT EASILY BURN ANYONE! AND YOU DODGED IT!” Mono screamed in rage, starting another fire. To which he took notice and absorbed the energy of flames, which emitted a familiar red aura like the ones from Streichholz. This made Ginko think of an idea.
“Hey uh, Mono… could you y'know… get Streichholz to attack me?” Ginko asked.
“Are you willing to lose?” Mono asked.
“Maybe.” Ginko responded.
“Very well. STREICHHOLZ!” Mono yelled. “Get the brat!” He ordered.
“Yes sir!” Streichholz said as he launched an array of Matchsticks. “Matchstick Wave!” He shouted. Ginko, grabbed a trashcan lid and used it as a shield. She ran down the street while using the trashcan lid to block the Phantasmajin's attacks. However, she didn't know that the Trashcan lid had slowly melted, and came to a corner.
“Your time is up!” Streichholz said. But as just as he was about to attack.
“Oz Change!” Ginko shouted as she pulled out the Ruby Oztone and inserted it in the Ozbelt.
“Class-A Oztone, detected! Ruby!” The Ozbelt shouted in a metallic voice. That is when Ginko saw herself changing, to the point that she sees herself no longer in her casual attire, but rather in a suit. She had a red helmet that vaguely resembled an ox, there was a red circular-like jewel on the forehead, her helmet had a black visor, her suit was red like the helmet, and had a skirt that had a white end. The sleaves were a darker shade of red, and that the skirt was crystal-like and was cutoff halfway on the chest diagonally to the left, she wore silver gloves, and wore silver boots. She saw that the Ozbelt has an Oz-Weapon on it.
“Oh shoot.” Streichholz said.
Mono followed Streichholz and was very angry.
“You… you… YOU CAN'T BE AN OZRANGER!” Mono shouted in rage.
“Well, you're wrong. I am…” Ginko said as she jumped over the two. “The Warrior of Justice, Oz Ruby!” Ginko said as she posed. “And I am… an Ozranger!” She said, as an explosion happened.
“I should also mention one thing. Explosions tend to happen when you introduce yourself like that.” A familiar voice said. Ginko turned around, revealing to be Notonoz.
“Notonoz!” Ginko said with a smile.
“You! You're the Southern Queen Notonoz!” Mono said.
“Ginko, your training as an Ozranger must be used against them. Are you prepared?” Notonoz said.
“Possibly.” Ginko said as she charged towards Streichholz, shooting at him.
“Quick Ginko! Use this!” Notonoz said as she gave Ginko a bag filled with three Ruby Oztones. “Use the Ruby Oztone to cause your Oz-Weapon to change into Sword Mode!” She explained.
“There's more of Oztones like these?” Ginko asked.
“You bet.” Notonoz said.
Ginko nodded and used one of the Ruby Oztones and inserted it in the Oz-Weapon, which caused the Oz-Weapon to change into a sword. Ginko used the Oz-Weapon to slash against Streichholz. To which Streichholz tried to retaliate, by using a matchstick to which he shot, but Ginko sliced the match in half. That is when Ginko suddenly realized that the Oz-Weapon was glowing.
“Ginko, nows the time. Perform an attack known as 'Oz-Slash'.” Notonoz explained.
“Ok!” Ginko said as she jumped and prepared her sword. “Oz-Slash!” She shouted as she launched a bright red wave from her Oz-Weapon which causes Streichholz to be defeated.
“You… you idiot! We were close to winning!” Mono said as he got angry. “But you, you had to meddle in and join one of our rivals!” He said as he got angrier to the point he shot another flame from his head.
Suddenly, Shoguard arrived from a yellow portal and carried a giant syringe.
“Mono, Lady Zepyuronna needs you. I'll handle this.” She told the Fire Knight.
“But this—”
“This is my turn now.” Shoguard calmly said.
“Fine.” Mono responded in an angry tone as he entered the portal. After that, Shoguard turned to Ginko.
“I believe we haven't meet yet, very well. I am Shoguard, the Second-in-Command of Lady Zepyuronna.” Shoguard introduced herself. “Seems that you are an Ozranger indeed… this won't end well.” She said. “For you.”
“What do you mean?” Ginko asked.
“I mean it like this, go Ultraizer!” Shoguard answered as she threw the giant syringe onto Streichholz's unconscious body, which caused it to grow.
“What the heck!?” Ginko said in a stunned town.
“It's a substance I created known as Ultraizer, it causes things like Phantasmajins to grow.” Shoguard explained. “I must be on my way, goodbye.” She said as she entered a yellow portal back to Heridol.
“Ginko! Use this!” Notonoz said as she threw a white-colored Oztone.
“Is this another Oztone?” Ginko asked.
“Indeed, it's the Diamond Oztone, use it to summon Gump Aldebaran!” Notonoz explained.
“Got it!” Ginko said as she inserted in the Ozbelt.
“Class-B Oztone, detected! Diamond!” The Ozbelt said as Gump Aldebaran arrived. And as it arrived to where Ginko was, it picked her up similarly to the ship it was stored in. That is when she took notice that she was inside Gump Aldebaran.
“Big deal, an Ox that is going to lose to an Ox? You think I'm going to lose to you?” Streichholz asked. “Matchstick Wave!” He shouted as he summoned a wave a matchsticks, to which Gump Aldebaran dodged thanks to Ginko's control.
“You missed!” Ginko shouted as she charged towards Streichholz, which caused the Phantasmajin to be fall, only for him to get himself back up.
“Ginko, perform an attack right now!” Notonoz called.
“Got it!” Ginko said as she pressed a button that caused Gump Aldebaran to jump very high, and came straight down. “Aldebaran Charge!” Ginko said as she charged towards Streichholz, which causes him to be launched un the air, as he was destroyed completely by an explosion.

After that, Ginko returned home to her aunt and uncle.
“Well look who arrived!” Momiji said in a warm tone.
“Hi.” Ginko replied.
“We heard from Notonoz, not bad for a very first fight.” Shigure said.
“Well, you know. It's not that bad.” Ginko said.
“Well, it's only beginning.” Notonoz said. “There are still three more Ozrangers to find.” Notonoz said.
“You said that an Ozranger is from a planet. Does this mean that there are more planets to find candidates for the other Ozrangers?” Ginko asked.
“You bet.” Notonoz said. “Are you prepared?” Notonoz asked.
“…Absolutely.” Ginko replied. And that was truly the beginning, a beginning of Ginko Reppu. Where her journey as an Ozranger begins.
