Day 1. ❆ Hype Girl

Something in the girl's personality made her shine and stand out among her peers. Granted, she has the manners and posse that the most exclusive education could give, and became a sensation and a star the moment she stepped at Karakura High School institute, at the behest of her older sister that wanted her to have a normal teenage experience, away from all the private tutors or female-only academies. However, with so much overprotection that kept her away from the real world, it came with a naivete and curiosity she couldn’t hold. So, it was no surprise she had gotten a job without her sister’s permission or her brother-in-law’s approval, her first act of rebellion ever, as a hype girl to promote an establishment, yet didn't understand what it entailed at first. She just accepted the job because it sounded fun.

That girl was Rukia Kuchiki, one of the most popular and sought after girls of the Institute.

Therefore, here she was with one of her classmates inside the café she had to hype about after handing hundreds of pamphlets to every passerby they could to convince them to go and consume into the new café closeby the station with a hyper saccharine smile.

“My cheeks hurt,” she rubbed her sore cheeks from smiling so much. “Grimmjow, why are you not bothered by it?” She told Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, a classmate, that she had asked nicely to come with her.

“Because I didn’t smile,” he fanned himself with one of the pamphlets, he was sweaty and his cheeks were red. “Still, don’t force yourself so much,” his brow furrowed by the contained need to smoke. If he didn’t get a good hit of tobacco soon, he might do something reckless.

Both teens were on their break, trying to cool themselves for a while. The manager, a weird and shady man named Urahara, asked to enter the café and rest under the safe haven of the A.C.

“Sit here while I bring some drinks and food for you!” he had said and sat them in the best place of the café before any of them. “And don’t forget to post pictures of you and your meal on social media!”

Grimmjow groaned at that, of course it had to be a reason he was being so kind to them after having them hand in his blasted pamphlets for three hours under very hot and humid weather.

“Please, get excited!” Rukia chided him when Ururu, one of the waitresses, brought them some drink and food. Whenever she accepted a challenge, she took it very seriously, even if she found the place overpriced, the coffee too bitter, and the beverages way too sweet. The only thing she liked was the cute pastries that Tessai-san baked.

“You brought me here, I don't even like coffee,” he bit his lip, the anxiousness was getting the best of him.

“Pretend, then!” Rukia took many pictures of their food, that, though it wasn’t the best, it was beautifully plated. She got a tomato soup with a risotto, all decorated like a sleeping panda, with cheeses and seaweed to make up the face.

“You should have brought Kurosaki,” he snarled as she scooped closer to him and took picture after picture of his bunny shaped curry. “He likes doing things like this with you more than I do.”

“He is busy!” She practically sat on him to take the picture, much to Grimmjow’s discomfort . “Besides, I owed you a date, didn’t I?” She moved  her hips to sit better on him, making him remember why he accepted coming to that wretched place as part of his anatomy woke up by the closeness. That and making sure her boss didn’t take advantage of her.

The place looked amazing, and, actually, was quite romantic, but not many people came regularly. Otherwise she wouldn’t have gotten the job.

“This is not a place I would have chosen for a date,” he placed his hand on her waist to keep her in place. “I would have preferred a more private place, you know?” while his other hand caressed her outer thigh, if he could not eat comfortably, he could mess up with her.

Rukia’s cheeks, that hadn’t lost most of their redness due to the heat, flushed to her ears.

“Grimmjow, not here,” she moaned, trying to stop his hand from going further down. “I have to upload the pictures.”

Grimmjow, who was fed up and tobacco deprived, kissed her to make her shut up and let him enjoy the free meal with her. His lips played with hers

“Don’t be so cheeky, Bunnygirl,” he scolded her after breaking the kiss, his hand still on her cheek, his thumb making circles, and her lips swollen red by the intensity of their kiss. “I haven’t had my dose of you yet,” he kissed her again, this time his tongue demanded entrance into her mouth. “Eat and drink well, we’re picking Ichigo after this.”

Rukia only managed to nod and accept that he fed her, all in order not to get off his lap.

Neither of them realized that one of the diners took several photographs of them and uploaded them to Instabook, where they went viral in a matter of minutes. Urahara’s café became a spot to go to if you wanted.
