Сhocolate candies on the tip of the blade

Summary:

Trafalgar D. Water Law lived thirteen years for only two things. Saving Drez Rose from Doflamingo and protecting Cora-san from any danger. Now that the former Shichibukai has been captured and will spend the rest of his life in prison, all that matters to the young alpha is his omega. But all Corazon sees in Law is a little boy. Law is willing to do anything to convince his omega that he is the perfect match.
An AU in which Law is obsessed with Corazon, but he does not agree with this and runs away from the pirates of his heart and his own feelings, thinking that it will be better this way.

Notes:

It's part of the Lemon Meringue, Mint and Steel universe, although you don't have to read it to understand it. It's just enough to know that Sanji is believed to be dead and the events take place several years before Lemon Meringue.

Chapter Text

Law clenched his fists until he turned white, trying to at least calm the furious alpha inside, and immediately growled, quietly, barely audible in the noise of the cheering crowd. The beast inside scratches at the ribs, bites, pulls the chain to the edge and whines, begging to do something before it's too late. Until their treasure was taken from them. Trafalgar wants to obey his instincts, to rush forward, to tear off the hands of the unfamiliar alpha just because she dared to touch what does not belong to her, to pull Corazon to him and finally dig into his pale neck with a bite. Mark. He needs to notice the omega, here, in public, so that everyone on this damned island can see and know who it belongs to. No one would even dare to look at it without fear of saying goodbye to life, nor what they would touch. He is his. It was there even before Lo had real fangs, and the dreams had lost their childlike innocence, giving way to hot, lustful fantasies. He dreams of touches and kisses, of falling asleep together on the same bed, entwining legs and arms, inhaling the smell of cherries and chocolate, knowing that this is forever. Lo dreams that one day Kora-san will look at him and finally understand that he has grown up, become a strong and worthy alpha ready even to die for his omega. For his sake. Lo dreams and still remains standing still, not wanting to spoil the holiday for others. He does not have this right. Only not after so many years of deprivation and struggle. Just not after they finally won.

- He will go. - hisses a voice nearby. - Maybe not by himself, but someday he will be taken away from you. The world, watch, another alpha, death. Not now, but someday it will happen. He won't stick around if you don't do anything.

- How do you know? He's been with me for thirteen years and it seems like he's not going anywhere. - Law turns around, finally looking into the single gray eye opposite.

Starpom Luffy looks lonely, almost lost in this holy life.

- Sometimes nothing depends on our wishes, and sometimes, - Zoro looks towards Kor, who is laughing merrily, in the company of several alphas. - Sometimes it just happens. Now he can be sure that he will never leave you, and tomorrow he will meet the love of his life and go to live a peaceful life and raise three children, or maybe he will die in the next storm. We never know what will happen tomorrow.

- I will not let him go. Never.

For a moment, the silence between them becomes almost palpable and it seems that the conversation has lived on its own. An ideal omega who smiles at strangers as affectionately as if they were old friends and laughs unusually loudly, as he has not allowed himself to do for years. Law doesn't want to admit it, but still finds a part of himself that knows Zoro is right. Someday, tomorrow or a year from now, but Corazon will get sick of it. He will get tired of living on a submarine, surrounded by alphas, exposing himself to danger and not feeling solid ground under his feet, and he will leave. He will go to exchange the life of a pirate for the life of which he was deprived. Law is afraid that he will lose the omega and the darkness that Doflamingo loved to talk about will win. Will make him another monster on the path of some hero. Another villain.

- I thought so too.

- Huh?

- I also thought that I would be able to hold on. - Zoro grabs an open bottle of sake from a passing Usopp. - I was sure that my strength would be enough even if I had to fight the devil himself, but I was wrong. It was worth everything to me. All my life.

- Black-leg-me? After all, he was a beta.

- It didn't matter to me. - a heavy, full of sad memories sigh. - He was my meaning to live, my light on the worst day and he died without ever knowing about it. So, of course, it's up to you, but I advise you not to waste your chance while it is still there.

- He will reject me and run away even faster.

- Take risks. Zoro advises. - Tell him and maybe, just maybe your feelings will turn out to be mutual, and if not, then at least you will stop tormenting yourself with the question "what if?". Believe me, it will be better than living and not knowing.

Trafalgar wants to say no. He wants to say that he would rather lie, he spends years just to see Kor's smiling face in the morning and to know that he is near, so close that you can touch, to feel the taste of cherry candies in the air, and then he looks at the sad smile of the swordsman and prefers to bite his tongue. Maybe he's not going to take unsolicited advice, but Roronoa doesn't need to know about it either.

The fencer shrugs.

- Do as you know. - he claps Trafalgar on the shoulder and goes to where the members of his team have made a new mess.

Law doesn't pay attention to the screams, laughter and small fight behind him, all he sees are someone else's hands on his beloved body. No. No. No. Alpha whimpers inside and pleads to fight to the last, to the last drop of blood if necessary, to win Corazon back to his side and keep him there for the rest of his life. Preferably spotted, satisfied and pregnant, he didn't want to even think about running away.

- And that's nice.

- What are you talking about Bepo?

- Kora-san and this guy. - A gentle smile spreads across the bear's face. - Of course, I always thought that you would end up together, but if not, that's also good. This giant deserves love more than anyone else, and if it's not you, so be it.

A sudden roar stops the fun as Law grabs the navigator's breasts without holding back his anger.

- Me. Only I deserve it. - He shakes Bepo with force. - He is my omega. Only mine and nothing else.

- Then you should hurry before it's too late. - the bear and, without blinking an eye, looks somewhere behind the captain.

- What are you… - Trafalgar blinks in confusion for a second, ignoring the surprised and interested looks, not understanding what his navigator is carrying.

After all, he does not need to hurry. He has time. Not much, but it is there. He can wait for the night, light the candles in his captain's cabin, think out a speech full of promises and confessions, and then, perhaps, if luck is on his side, he will be given at least one kiss. He will swear, beg, kneel if he has to. He will prove to Corazon that he is the best option for the future couple, that he will be able to provide him and their future children with everything they need. With warmth, love and care. He will be their protector even if he knows that Corazon, no, Rosiant, does not need protection. God Yes, Law is willing to be anything for Kora-san. For the sake of his perfect omega.

- Look, - advises Bepo. - Look around.

Trafalgar D Water Law obeys. For the first time in his life he obeys without even trying to resist. He looks around to see Luffy not shutting up, several members of his team and a smiling Zoro. And that's all. In the crowd, among dozens of strangers, the usual, beloved, bright top is not visible. His heart aches with pain just thinking that his omega is now somewhere in danger, surrounded by strangers, scared, confused, without protection and confidence that everything will be fine. In danger. In danger. His Cora is in danger, and here he is wasting precious time on aggression and irritation. Then, when Corazon was in his arms, covered in his acrid scent, he would have a moment to be angry.

- Where?

- They went towards the beach. If you hurry, you will have time…

Law jumps to his feet, ignoring the surprised questions, exclamations, and grunts of displeasure as he bumps into someone's shoulder. It does not matter. Nothing in this world matters now except its purpose. Its main purpose.

- Don't stumble. - advises Namya, jumping aside in time.
Law just waves as he runs past. He cannot stop even for a second.

When the noise behind him subsides, and the voices become no more than an indecipherable hum, he freezes, looking around in all directions.

- Hell. Devil. - A sense of panic is growing inside. What if he doesn't make it? What if Rossi notices another, foreign alpha? What if he loses his meaning in life?

Someone else's laughter makes you turn around.

- I would never have thought that pirates of the heart could hide such a beauty in themselves - the stranger smiles, pressing his whole body to Corazon.

- So cute, sexy. - another pair of hands slips under the bright pink festive shirt, smoothing the taut stomach. - So charming. If I were Trafalgar, I wouldn't let you out of my cabin, I'd keep you naked, always wet, ready to receive my cock. I would fuck you until you pass out and your voice breaks. After all, you would like it. Is that why you want this and came with us? After all, you're just another whore who wants a threesome.

Law clenches his fists, bites his lip so hard that he tastes blood on his tongue. But how did these bastards even dare to say such a thing to his family. His omezi before whom he himself, one of the worst generation, is ready to stand on his knees and kiss every part of the skin just to get a favorable look.

- Answer us Kora-san. You're just another dumb whore.

- Yes …Yes…

- I didn't hear. - the third man smiles with pleasure, stroking Corazon's ass, sandwiched between three excited alphas. - Repeat sun.

- I … I … - a barely audible sob. - I'm just another dumbass…

- Enough! - Law forcefully pushes one of the pirates to a nearby tree, inflicting several accurate blows to the chest.

The beast inside is finally howling enough to enjoy the freedom it has gained. He will kill the fools who dare to touch his jewel, break their bones, tear out their tongues in revenge for the words spoken, scratch out their eyes, and then, then he will figure out how to make them suffer even more. He lets his beast have enough of a charge before regaining control. Strike and Trafalgar finds himself sitting on yet another opponent, one more and his knuckles turn red, one more and a wheeze erupts from the bastard's throat.

Shock. Shock. Shock.

- Law. Law stop. - Cora grabs her captain's arm, trying to pull her captain away from the unconscious body. - You will kill him. Law, come on.

- No. - Law pushes the omega away from him, starting to strangle the opponent.

- Alpha! Alpha please stop. - Rocinant runs Trofalgar along his back, trying to calm him down. - Enough. They don't deserve it.

- They wanted to rape you.

- No. They didn't want to.

Alpha freezes, unable to understand what he heard. His omega tries to calm him, touches him gently like he's fifteen again and having a nightmare, Kora-san was there to calm him down, smiles, calls him alpha and at the same time lies to him, says he wanted to be fucked in the middle of the forest, by a crowd strangers and seems to be shaking with fear. After all, Corazon should not be afraid of him. Anyone but him. Law would rather tear his heart out than hurt the omeza in front of him.

- What are you saying? They grabbed you and called you names like a cheap whore.

- Maybe it was rude, but I wanted it.

- But why? - Law stands up, shakes his hands and looks into the brown eyes in front of him.

- Enough silly questions.

Cora angrily brushes off the question and finally unfurls as she leaves the clearing.

- No. - Alpha grabs Corazon's hand. - No. You will answer my questions.

- God! Isn't it clear? I spent thirteen years taking care of you, giving all of myself for our common goal, forgetting about myself and my natural needs. Shit For twelve years I poisoned myself with suppressants just to keep from getting distracted from the goal. But now, when I'm sure that my brother will rot in prison and I have a free moment, I decided that at least once, just once, I can distract myself and give myself time, and you took it and intervened.

- Did you want this?

- So. I'm thirty-nine and I've had sex six times before this mess started. - a heavy sigh. - Okay. Forget about it. Let's go, let's go back to the holiday and continue drinking and having fun. - He takes a step forward, sighs unhappily, not hearing footsteps behind him. - What kind of childish behavior? Enough sulking, let's go have fun.

The captain does not answer, weighing all the pros and cons in his head, and then unexpectedly leans forward, grabs the omega by the collar of his shirt and forces him to bend down, plunging into his mouth open from surprise with a deep, unrestrained kiss. Closing his eyes, Corazon froze like a doll, letting Law kiss him, lick his mouth, and nibble on his lips. He didn't return the kiss, and yet he didn't try to pull away, giving Trafalgar time. They both knew that if they had to fight, their chances would be equal. If Kora wanted it, then he would get it, but only on Law's terms. He lavishes his clumsy Kor with all the love, care and passion he can. From the lips, he switches to the cheeks, forehead and even manages to leave a small kiss on the neck. How I wanted to clench my teeth to solve this issue once and for all, but not like that and not now. Cora deserves hugs, confessions and all possible comforts. He will give this omeza the whole world if he comes. Luo touches her pink lips again, this time in a light, barely perceptible kiss.

- What are you doing? - Omega pushes Law away from him. - If it's a joke, it's not funny at all.

- No. No more jokes. - promises Alpha. - You wanted to have sex no matter who, and I will not allow more than one alpha or beta to touch you, so we have only one way out of the situation. You will sleep with me.

- This is ridiculous Law. you are like a younger brother to me that I took care of…

- No. - argues Trafalgar. - I never wanted to be your brother and I'm not going to start.

- But then what did you want?

- You. Always only you. From the moment I turned fifteen, I always knew that you are my meaning in life, that you are the only one for whom I continue this struggle.

Law watches as his lover's face turns red, as tears form in his eyes, and as all resistance disappears from his posture. It seems another minute and Kora surrenders himself to his mercy.

- Hey, Law, Cora, what are you doing here? - Luffy's cheerful voice, full of anticipation, spread around the district. - They could call if they wanted to start a fight.

- No fight! - shouted Nami, getting out of the nearby bushes. - Sorry guys. Luffy couldn't find you and we got worried and went looking. - awkward smile. - I hope we didn't disturb you too much.

- No. No. All is well. - Corazon jumped sharply to the side, immediately tripping and almost falling face down into the dirt. - Hell. I have to go back. Return urgently.

- Kora-san, we will definitely finish this conversation later.

- So. - Rossi looked into the eyes of his captain and confidently nodded. — So we will talk about what happened later.

Trafalgar just gave a wry smile as he watched the omega quickly disappear into the darkness, heading back to the celebratory bonfires.

- I'm sorry once again.

- Nothing. It is even good that you appeared here.

- Then we will return.

- Then we will return.

And no one ever remembered the alphas who were left lying unconscious. Only Nami pushed one of them, reminding herself to call the nakam of these losers so that someone could take care of them. However, they should not touch what has long belonged to others.
