“Just remember, you can always come back,” her mom hugged her so tight she thought she would suffocate for a second but her grip loosened before it got too bad.
“I know.”
“And keep yourself safe, especially from Hermes kids and some of my half siblings are pretty mischievous too.” She smoothed out her hair, and pressed a kiss to her forehead, leaning down less now that Georgie had had her growth spurt. “We’ll see you again.”
“I’ll see you again, Moms,” she swallowed past the lump in her throat, and held onto her bag tightly. “This isn’t goodbye forever.”
