The tall, muscular teen stood in front of Iida, he was very excited for their upcoming team-up mission. It made Iida feel a bit uneasy, but since it was important for his final grade, he knew he had to try and get along with the abundance of energy that stood in front of him. They both agreed that it would be a very beneficial partnership, as they both thought the other had something that could help them improve.
However, they didn’t really know each other, since they were from different schools. They both asked some of their friends for ideas on what to do, since they both had conflicting ideas for how they should hang out together. Iida thought going to the library and discussing their favorite books was how they should get to know each other. However, Inasa thought that they should go to a more lively place, like an arcade, would be much better.
Midoriya, Iida's friend, then pointed something out, “You could do both, go to the library to study together and then hangout in an arcade.”
Iida and Inasa seemed to agree to that solution, though they both didn't seem completely sold on it. After a bit, they said their goodbyes to their friends and started to prepare to hangout.
After they got ready to head out, both were wearing casual clothes. Iida was wearing a blue shirt and black sweater, as well as a pair of jeans. Inasa was wearing a red shirt and a pair of jeans with a red sweater tied around his waist.
The blue haired teen was leading them towards the local library, on their way they passed by an arcade. Inasa, still not happy his idea got delayed, suddenly grabbed Iida and dragged him into the arcade, paying for their entrance tickets before Iida could start protesting.
“Look, Iida-kun, we’re going to have fun, you would like it here.” Inasa told Iida.
Iida looked a bit puzzled, “How do you know that?”
“I just do.” Inasa answered.
After a bit more convincing, Iida agreed, but was still unsure, so he tried to come up with an excuse to leave, “Well, where would we leave our bags?”
“They have lockers here we could use.” Inasa replied before taking Iida to the lockers and putting their bags in one of the lockers. Iida grabbed the locker’s key and put it in one of his pockets.
Inasa then suddenly grabbed Iida’s arm and took him to one of the game machines which let two people compete against each other.
They arrived at a connect four machine, Inasa then spoke, “Let's try this one first.” Iida agreed.
Before they put the required amount of coins in they decided they'll do a couple of rounds at this machine. Afterwards, they each got into their side of the stage and they looked at their respective screens as a five seconds countdown started. At first, Iida's moves were almost robotic, as if they were stiff. Unlike Iida, Inasa moved like a natural.
Inasa ended up winning the first round, but through each round, Iida got better at the game, though his moves were still somewhat robotic, and ended up winning the last round. After they were done with the dancing machine, they moved to the other machines in the arcade. They spent an hour or two trying to win some prizes while having fun, Inasa ended up giving Iida the nickname ‘Robot man’.
Iida saw the clock, getting a bit worried before speaking, "It's starting to get a bit late, the library would close in an hour or two."
"Eh, don't worry about it too much." Inasa replied.
This annoyed Iida a bit, they were supposed to study as well. "Well, we are still supposed to study, if you haven't forgotten already."
"If you are really that worried about it, we can go now." Inasa said after he let out a sigh.
They went to the lockers to pick up their stuff before leaving to go to the library to actually study as well.
